has a great following for being 'aesthetic' even though they rarely try. most things they post have photos of things they've done in the week like pictures of their food or them working.

their followers are used to aesthetic photo dumps with 10 photos each that have no rhyme or reason to them, so when they get online and see a post from their favorite account with only 3 photos and the caption

" my love " with the song 'my love mine all mine' by mitski attached? there was immediate reactions, some trying to find out who this mystery person is while others seemed to be happy with just these little snippets of the relationship.

they don't think of themselves as a 'content creator', they just like posting their photos. however, they did like how much strangers on the internet would stand up for them and your relationship.

people began following them for the stark contrast that showed in every post they made, but when they posted something with no quote and it was a soft launch? their fans had immediately blown up the comments.

their fans watched their stories where they would post memes and such, something that many pros didn't do on the daily...because they had a reputation to upkeep. to be fair, all of their followers never knew them to be the brightest, so nothing they posted caused up a stir.

until they posted photos they took with, what was supposed to be, some mystery person with the caption ' a soft launch on MY minecraft server ? '

and it would have been an AMAZING soft launch...if they didn't tag your PERSONAL ACCOUNT on every. single. picture.

you weren't a pro volleyball player, you weren't an actor, you weren't even a manager, nope! you were just some normal person who lives an everyday normal life.

they had the spirit, just not the execution, but that's why their fans (and you) loved them <3

you had scooped about three spoons of ice cream into your mouth when he noticed your souring mood. he bit his lip and looked between your ice cream cup and his own, huffing some air through his nose. “did you not like it?”

fine, you insisted on getting a new flavour, and it wasn’t that good. it had the prettiest colour but the taste was just not sitting right with you. you grumbled under your breath and pouted. “no… it tastes weird,” you admitted in your most childish and pouty voice.

he shook his head, taking the little cup from you and handing over his, and you looked at him with those heart eyes. “take mine, you muppet,” he insisted, acting slightly annoyed as he took a bite of your terrible choices.

“thank you! you’re the best!” you cheered, kissing his cheek quickly before happily munching on the classic flavours he had gone with and swinging your legs happily from the bench.

a tinge of red sat comfortably on his cheeks, and it wasn’t just from the blazing sun. “of course I am.”

Hard truths about dating the HQ boys

Aka their weaknesses in relationships (I still love them anyway)

Osamu: spends too much time at work and gets super jealous easily

Atsumu: complete fuckboy who flirts with everyone while ignoring his partner

Sakusa: puts very little effort into relationships and freaks out if his partner gets touchy with him

Oikawa: still flirts with every fan even while dating someone. Doesn't understand why that would upset his partner

Ushijima: canonically has zero common sense (thought that people in Brazil had to hold onto the Earth so they didn't fall into space) so dating him means constantly teaching how to do everything

Tendou: shuts his partner out because he's so insecure

Futakuchi: accidentally says upsetting or mean things as a result of his snarky nature

Bokuto: can be so childish and needy that it's draining

Akaashi: doesn't know how to express emotions so he just bottles everything up and eventually shuts down

Kuroo: puts his work before his partner too often

Yaku: lacks empathy sometimes. Thinks if he can do something why can't his partner? Will push them too much as a result

Yamamoto: gets so flustered that it's hard to have normal interactions sometimes

Kenma: lashes out when he's overwhelmed and even targets his partner's insecurities out of misplaced frustration

Asahi: doesn't have the courage to speak up for himself when something his partner does bothers him

Daichi: tries to parent and control his partner way more than necessary

Sugawara: is so tired after work and grading that he rarely has the time or energy to go out

Nishinoya: tends to not listen to people's boundaries and fawns over others in front of his partner

Tanaka: defends and spoils his partner so much that he basically suffocates them and doesn't let them be independent

Ennoshita: gets so in his head about not being good enough that he starts to withdraw himself from the relationship

Tsukishima: like Akaashi, he can't express his emotions properly and bottles it up except he gets snippy

Yamaguchi: catastrophizes the moment his partner brings up any issues and assumes they're going to break up with him

Kageyama: offers zero emotional support ever and doesn't know how to comfort his partner or resolve conflicts. Like Ushijima has zero common sense and needs his partner to help him with everything

Hinata: prioritises volleyball over his partner and doesn't understand if they're not as passionate about volleyball as he is

PDA (for my unfinished fic)

hiii I'm back with another (it's the third one already lol) illustration for my tskym story. still unfinished/unpublished, but you know... anyway, here's an excerpt:

Their first kiss in public happened at a farewell dinner, after their upperclassmen retrieved their graduation papers and shed the last tears in the gym they had played in for three years. The restaurant was buzzing with the laughter and chatter of twelve teenage volleyball players, their managers and their coaches. The wide smiles on their tear-streaked faces made Kei's inside feel warm. Still, his focus was on rilling up his fellow first (technically pretty much second) years.

He took a bite of his food, sneaking a glance at Tadashi. Tadashi, who was already looking at him. His gaze was soft, a smile turning his eyes into half-moons. He was propping his head on his knuckles, as if he was watching his favorite show.

“What?” inquired Kei, pulling down his eyebrows.

Something gleamed in those brown eyes. Tadashi looked around before grabbing a menu from the table and unfolding it. Kei opened his mouth, but before he could say anything, Tadashi's face was right in front of his. Soft lips pressed against his ones, sending an electric shock across his spine. The menu was hiding them from the prying eyes and yet, he thought his heart was about to explode.

Almost as soon as the kiss started, it ended. Tadashi went back to his meal like nothing ever happened. Kei's brain was working overtime trying to reboot.

“You look a bit fried there, Tsukishima,” commented Kageyama, entirely too pleased with the situation.

“Uwah! His face is so red!” added Hinata.

Frankly, Kei didn't have the mental power to think of anything clever. His lips were still prickly. His head felt both too full and too empty to form coherent sentences.

“Uh-huh,” he said, ever so eloquently.

The table roared with laughter. Teasing comments flew around the room, their senpais delighted to see him reduced to speechlessness. Kei didn't mind them. Honestly, he didn't care about much at that moment. He could see Tadashi's slightly trembling hands and his cheeky smile was accompanied with a nice dark color flooding his freckled cheeks and he found himself focusing on that completely.

Thinking about your countryside boyfriend from Miyagi or Hyogo teaching you how to ride a bike.

You’d just moved from Tokyo and are used to the hustle and bustle of city traffic and the endless opportunities of public transport. It was anxiety inducing enough to see the bike messengers zipping through the steady stream of cars to put you off ever wanting to get onto one of those flimsy looking two wheeled contraptions.

But life is slower in the rural parts of Japan and if you miss your bus to school, well, have fun waiting an hour for the next one. So one day, when you talk to your boyfriend about the inconvenience of it all, he suggests to get a bike like most other students. You can even ride together, he suggests. He’d gladly pick you up in the mornings and bring you home after school, too.

It all sounds very romantic and cute and you’re very excited - for about a minute - and then remember that you’ve never learned how to ride a bike because there was no need for it before. Your boyfriend blinks, then chuckles and offers to teach you, no problem.

And now you’re on an empty open road on a Sunday morning in the sleepy village you live in, wobbling over the very stony dirt. Your boyfriend got you a helmet matching his own and was holding tight to the rear rack.

“You’re doing great! - Keep peddling! - You’re doing it!”, he praised and let go just for you to immediately lose control and roll gently down a very grassy slope, only bruising your ego. He laughs as he helps you back up, brushing blades of grass from your back, maybe giving your squishy love handles some more attention then necessary until you giggle. He rightens your helmet again, giving it a teasing rap with his knuckles. “Good thing you had this on. Come on, one more time.”

When you finally do manage to stay steady he jumps and cheers as if his team just won a game and runs over to you.

“Did you see?!”, you squeak excitedly.

“I did! Look at you! You’re becoming one of us after all.”

You beam at him when he gives you a kiss. Then he jogs back to grab his own bike leaning against a boulder for your first official run to the convenience store with your bikes.

Why is his crush coming to practice? Kageyama had not the slightest clue.

Kageyama is starting to freak out. He still feels embarrassed about what happened in the classroom. “Earth to Kageyama!” Hinata jumps up and down, waving his hand in front of his partner's face. “Stop thinking about milk-chan and focus on the game!”

Tsukishima overhears and scowls, “You know it’s weird calling them ‘milk-chan’ out loud, right?” Hinata shrugs. “So?” “What do you mean, so? It’s fucking weird.” “You’re weird!” “What?” Yamaguchi stands between them with a sigh. "Hinata, don’t provoke Tsukki.”

The ginger sticks out his tongue while Tsukishima rolls his eyes. Kageyama doesn’t react to the small argument that happened and simply walks the other way. “Okay boys, get in formation!” Coach Ukai shouts, and the boys go into position.

Kageyama is going to serve first instead of Asahi. ‘Maybe hitting this spike will let my feelings out.’ He lets out a breath before tossing the ball up, running a few steps forward, and hitting the ball right across the net. He gets the point, and he goes to hit again.

Another point, and Kageyama hits once more. Nishinoya digs for it, and Tanaka goes to pass to Sugawara to set. Daichi hits the ball, and Asahi goes to dig it up. This goes on for a while before taking a break.

Kageyama huffs, exhausted from playing. He hears someone shuffling next to him, but he’s too tired to tell them to shoot away.

“Milk-chans here!” Hinata whispers in his ear, and Kageyama immediately straightens up. His eyes dart across the gym until they land on his crush, talking to Yachi about who knows what.

They notice his stare, and they wave. Kageyama's cheeks flush and stand frozen. “Wave back, idiot.” Tsukishima mutters close to his ear. Kageyama does so, and his crush smiles more than ever.

They start to walk towards him, which starts freaking him out. “You’re really good.” They say, and Kageyama stutters, “U-Uh, T-Thanks, um...” He looks to the floor nervously. “I wanted to check on you.” His heart flips and flops. “I’m sorry for showing up out of the blue.” They explain, and Kageyama isn’t processing anything at all.

“Since you were struggling with English, I came to see if you had time to study. I was worried about you.” Hearing that, steam comes out of Kageyama's face. “I hope volleyball isn’t getting in the way.” They continue. Kageyama's words are incoherent, and the rest of the boys stare in disbelief.

“Kageyama is embarrassing himself.” Hinata says it with a pout. “They seem into it.” Tsukishima snickers, and Yamaguchi sighs in response. Daichi steps forward and pats Kageyama's back with a chuckle. “Do you need to borrow him for a minute?”

Their cheeks flush, and they shake their hands. “I was just asking if he wanted to study with me! I understand if he can’t because he needs to be here for volleyball.” “I see.” Daichi’s hands go on his hips. “Unfortunately, we need Kageyama since we have a practice match soon.” “I understand.”

They smile at Kageyama. “I’ll leave you alone now. Have fun; I’m rooting for you.” Those words replay in the boy's head, and his face gets even redder if that were possible. “R-Rooting for me?” “Mhm!” They confirm, and he almost passes out. Tanaka was thankfully there to stand him back up.

“Why don’t you study at his place?” Ennoshita suggests, after walking over, making sure Kageyama doesn’t fall again. The group stared at him in awe. “Yes!” Hinata jumps up and down. “You can study at Kageyama's house! He lives practically alone.” Kageyama comes back to his senses and kicks Hinata's side. “Shut up, dumbass!”

They smile wide. “That’s great! Is that okay, Kageyama? I’d love to be with you today.” The boys stared at them upon hearing those words. The guys looked at Kageyama's reaction, and sure enough, the poor boy was losing it.

Kageyama’s mouth is wide open, and his cheeks are glowing red. “Y-Yeah…that’s…okay…” They giggle, “Great! I’ll wait for you then.” They say farewell and leave the gymnasium.

“Kageyama has a date.” Sugarawa chuckles, and Kageyama falls to the floor, startling the boys and panicking if he just stopped breathing.

But fueled up on your high-protein muffins, these boys are ready to kick butt!

And kick butt they do!

They beat Seijoh and prepare to meet Shiratorizawa in the finals

After the game, you notice how upset Seijoh is after their loss

You knew this was the third years last tournament and seeing them cry hurt

You thought about if it was your boys

And with that, there was only one thing left to do

So you pulled out a piece of paper and wrote a little note and stuck it in the box of cookies

As your team was preparing to leave, you grabbed your box of Strawberry Shortcake cookies and ran over to Seijoh

“It’s cookies,” Oikawa said as he began to pass them around and Iwa showed Oiks the note

Of course, you ignore them and head for the gates

As you approach, you see the white track suits

Going to the beach could be a tiring ordeal, but you haven’t known the trials of a beach day since back when you and your husband were just boyfriend and girlfriend. That’s because Ennoshita always came prepared.

You looked around in your cute bikini, one hand holding the brim of your sunhat while the other held the beach bag off the sand.

Meanwhile, Ennoshita efficiently put up the dedicated parasol and then rolled out the blanket, pinning each corner down. Not a trace of sand spilling on top of it. He got up for a second to admire his work before coming over, kissing your cheek and taking the bag, moving on to taking out the snacks and little cooling bag. “There you go, love.”

It was all so perfect, nothing could ruin a beach day with your husband.

Except maybe his high school friends.

You both sat down, double-checking your sunscreen layers before laying back, your head resting in his lap while he leaned on his elbows and observed passer-byers.

“What a great spot!”

“Ennoshita always gets the best spot.”

“What snacks did you get?”

Your eyebrows furrowed as you lifted your head, looking to the side where Nishinoya, Tanaka, Narita and Kinoshita had put another blanket overlapping yours, dragging some sand over in the process. “Why are you guys here?” Ennoshita yelled, making them all turn to him in surprise.

“You said today was beach day,” Nishinoya said as if it was obvious from there.

“Yes, with my wife.” His words were just sharp enough for you to sit up, sighing and handing him a water bottle to cool off.

“That’s okay, we can all have a relaxing day at the beach together!” you said positively. However, there was no mistaking the look in Ennoshita’s eyes. He did not agree.

And he was right.

Ennoshita tried to focus on you, he really did. At first, he was relieved someone could watch your stuff while the two of you took a long dip in the ocean, and Ennoshita couldn’t have been happier than watching you enjoy the beach even though you were wearing little to nothing. He had been there with you through learning to love yourself and loved you every step of the way.

“You’re so gorgeous, your husband is very lucky,” he cooed, sneaking his hands around you so you’d come close enough for a kiss.

“I’m the lucky one, he’s just a hopeless romantic.”

It almost made him forget about his friends until you returned to your spot and saw they had eaten up all your snacks.

Later, there was the terrifying exclamation Hey, I brought a volleyball! Even though playing got them to move away, Nishinoya had dived into the sand so much that when he came back asking for a water bottle, he carelessly dripped sand all over the two of you. Ennoshita wouldn’t have minded it so much if he didn’t know you hated having sand stuck everywhere if you could avoid it.

Finally, he had enough when the lot of them begged him to join their rally, even though they should have been perfectly fine with a two on two. You watched with pursed lips as it finally boiled over.

“Can you guys leave us alone?!” The ball dropped onto the sand with a soft sound and they were all blinking at him like sheep. “I am trying to enjoy the day with my beautiful wife before our joint vacation ends, and you guys were not part of that plan!”

One by one they pouted, kicking the sand like little boys and murmuring apologies under their breaths. “Sorry, Chikara. Sorry, Mrs. Ennoshita.”

“Don’t worry,” you assured them, laying a chubby hand on your husband’s shoulder and tilting your head cutely. “I’m having a very nice day.”
