Nishinoya is a pretty cool dad. But sometimes, what wasn’t there every day seemed even cooler.

“Uncle Asahi!” your toddler son squealed, wonkily running over to the very tall man who was alert the second he heard the kid’s voice.

“Little prince!” he said back, quickly bending down so he could catch him and lift him up in his arms. Everyone would always laugh at how he held on to kids with both arms, so anxious about dropping them.

Nishinoya walked in behind, squinting at his friend with jealousy as he dropped the diaper bag by his shoes. At least it was Asahi, he couldn’t really blame his son for loving that big, friendly giant. “Hey, man. Didn’t know you had a kid,” Noya joked, tickling his son so that he would squirm in Asahi’s arms, in turn making the taller man even more nervous about dropping him.

“Hehe, if my son looked this much like you, I would’ve gotten suspicious.” This joke settled into the whole group, making everyone laugh and Nishinoya squared his shoulders proudly.

Yeah, that’s my genes for sure.

During the Karasuno reunion party, several other ‘uncles’ attempted to gain the attention of Nishinoya’s son, but to no avail. You eventually arrived as well, straight from work, and immediately treated your husband with a quick kiss before greeting everyone.

“I assume our son is wherever Asahi is?” you said, only half joking.

“You would be right, but he had to go redo his hair after our menace pulled his hair tie out.”

The two of you snickered, clinking your glasses of alcohol-free drinks together before taking a sip.

As the buffet was served, you tried your best to detach your son from Asahi to no avail. You gave Asahi a guilty look, then back at your stubborn son. “You don’t want to eat with us, baby?”

He scrunched his nose, clinging harder to Asahi’s arm for emphasis. However, the man must be tired of carrying the toddler by now, so you forcibly took hold of him, using the tickle method until he finally let go long enough for you to transfer him to your arms. Asahi visibly relaxed, only to tense up again when Nishinoya jumped on his back.

“My turn!”

You put your son down, taking a minute to gather food on his plate. When you turned around to hand it to him, he was gone. With a sigh, you started looking around.

Now he was clinging onto Tanaka, his second favourite uncle.

“Ryuuu!”

Tanaka looked up in fear with your son in his arms, Kiyoko taking a step away as Nishinoya marched up to them. You made eye contact with her and tsk-ed with a shake of your head at your husbands, making her giggle.

Noya took his giddy toddler from Tanaka and held him under his arm like a dog. “Make your own child already! I only let Asahi borrow him because he’s probably lonely.”

“Hey!” Trouble ensued.

When you finally got home that evening, you fell asleep with your son tucked between you and Nishinoya, the two rascals snoring away after another day of getting in trouble. Oh, how you love them.

Imagine being his loving wife who loves to cook for him

and one day he pisses you off somehow and so what do you decide to do? cook his favorite dish of course

with an ungodly amount of salt

Your husband absolutely loves your cooking, so when he returned home from work to smell the warm scent of his favorite meal all of his troubles washed away.

You greeted him as sweetly and lovingly as you do every day, leading him to the dinner table and serving him his meal. You were beaming, seemingly excited for him to dig in.

And upon the first bite, he had to fight the urge to scrunch his face in both surprise and disgust. Not wanting to hurt your feelings, he gave you a shaky thumbs up with a simple "It's...really good."

Feigning ignorance, you asked him "What's wrong? Does it taste okay? You don't have to lie to me y'know, I can take it!"

"Well...it's a little salty."

He immediately started to panic at the sight of your eyes welling up with tears, immediately regretting his decision. How could he say that to you? You're perfect and he's such an awful husband for making you cry.

He frantically tries to calm you down, finishing the rest of his food in one go as a way to prove to you how much he enjoyed it (newsflash: he didn't).

"Please don't cry! Look, I finished it see? Mmmm, so good, thank you for the meal!"

Almost as quickly as you started, your cries stopped and turned into a sinister chuckle.

"I know it was bad, I did that on purpose. Next time don't piss me off, yeah?"

He stared dumfounded as you walked away, trying to recall what he did. Whatever it was, he had to make sure he'd never do it again.

Hinata:

It was on a winter's day when he had an important game when he felt it for the first time

He had just arrived at school on his bike when he saw you

You stood there, snuggled up in your jacket in the icy cold outside the school gates

How you waited for him even though it was freezing cold just to be able to wish him good luck for the upcoming game before school

For him, no one else is as perfect as you

Kageyama:

He realised after thinking about it for a while, in his room

It was already late at night but the thoughts of you just wouldn't let him sleep

He thought about every moment he had with you over and over again

Your laught, your pretty face everything about you was charming and your character, it was made of gold, you never called him king and never judged him

He had never felt this way about anyone before, but then you came into his life

Daichi:

He realised it when he saw how you treated his team-mates

You are simply the nicest and most self-sacrificing person he has ever met

All together you laughed and joked around as if all was right with the world

He just really recognises how you try to get on well with everyone he cares about

He just loves you too much for that

Sugawara:

He realised it when he woke up on a sunny spring morning

You lay curled up in the blanket in his arms

You just looked too perfect at that moment

He just hopes that he has the opportunity to wake up like this every morning

from that moment on, he realised that you were the most important thing for him

Asahi:

He saw you for the first time in a coffee shop where he is a regular customer and he was in love with you at first glance

All of a sudden you were there and have been there every day since

He also comes more often than usual, in the hope that he might find you there

Every time he sees you there he orders the same thing and waits until he has enough courage to talk to you

After at least two weeks he dared to speak to you and it was wonderful, a feeling he would like to have all the time

Tanaka:

He recognised it as soon as you walked through the classroom door for the first time

The way your hair was bobbing slightly and the way your beautiful eyes were looking around curiously just made him feel so good

Without knowing it, he's been nudging you the whole time

In his mind, he imagined you not walking towards your seat but walking down the aisle in a breathtaking wedding dress

From then on, he also stopped looking at other girls, you are everything to him

Noya:

Similar to Tanaka, he falls in love very quickly

He felt it straight away when he saw you in the stands at one of his matches

He had just held a ball when his eyes met yours directly

Everything around you stopped for a moment

From that moment on, he couldn't stop thinking about your pretty face, so much so that he was so distressed not to know who you were after the game, he approached you

Tsukishima:

He realised when you suddenly sat down next to him during the lunch break

Yamaguchi hadn't been there that day and so he was sitting there all alone

And you apparently felt sorry for him, so you just sat down next to him and started eating your lunch

You even offered him some of your food

I think he simply fell in love with your kind, cheerful and thoughtful manner

Yamaguchi:

He noticed when you smiled at him for the first time and he fell in love with you at the same second

It was a normal school day and he was just sitting in maths class, which he has together with you

You had to do group work and you turned round so that you could work together

You gave him a friendly smile and from then on it was over with him, he turned into a red mess

He wants to make you smile as often as possible, he just loves you and wants to see you happy as often as possible
