im thinking abt the fact eduardo & mark got blow jobs in the stalls RIGHT next to each other cuz like yeah. they wouldn’t have done ANYTHING else to relieve the sexual tension between them bc nothing else has that same plausible heterosexual deniability. i’m just a guy getting sucked off by a girl what could be more straight than that? please ignore the fact i chose the stall next to him when there were free ones <3

i would be wayyyyyyy more likely to see tim pursuing higher education if he had graduated high school (~*new earth continuity post*~). bc what he did like about school was socializing with peers and the aspect of normalcy and like... hes absolutely not going to re-enroll back in hs atp. hed have to get his GED. and he... could do that. but he'd have to be motivated enough to want to go to college enough to schedule the GED i think months in advance plus needing to wait for the next semester of whatevwr gotham community college hes looking at to start... And Also the very high chance that he would miss his appointment for the test LMAO like it would be incredibly on brand for him to sleep through it or like be stuck in, idk, brussels or someplace on a mission and misremember the time difference. furthermore after a certain point hes gonna start feeling like he missed his window particularly if what he *actually* wants is to be around normal ppl his age and feel tethered... like at that point just go see if ives has a tabletop rpg thing going u can join baby yk

Sometimes I'll suddenly remember an artwork I really liked from years ago and haven't seen in a while, go look for it and reblog it. Then a few days, maybe weeks later, I'll see it again in my dash and wonder if that recent thread is connected to me, and sure enough...

if i had a nickel for everytime an unsuspecting me put on a jesse eisenberg film as a distraction from my mental health only to be hit across the face with casual transphobia including use of the word tranny that actually ended up making my mental state much worse-
i would have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's kinda weird that it happened twice

Aw we love all your thoughts even unpopular lol! But l agree! Love and “the spark” can age like fine wine as a couple ages themselves !! I think people mostly say this to point out how ian and mickey still often act like lovestruck teenagers but also why would this be so absurd for a happily married couple 😂 that’s a good thing! i promise that’s not rare irl. And sure there’s the other side of this argument that yes! not everyday or week or month will be a honeymoon phase, there will be periods where they will need to put time and effort for sparks and romance but not because it’s used up but because life is hectic and busy and can get routined. I’m tired of long term couples being viewed as boring and stagnant lmao. That they’ll never be able to be as good as the beginning.
right yes they are, what, in their early 20s when the show ends? my life is already drastically different than i thought it would be at 24. what is beautiful about relationships like theirs is that they will change and they will evolve, but their foundation is so solid and the love will always be a through line! there will be times of struggle and disconnect, there will be times when they need the support and enrichment of things outside of each other. and that's okay! i'm glad my relationship isn't the same - i'm glad that we put the work in to see each other as we are now. it's better than it ever has been! it gets better every day! i no longer know the point i am trying to make! i just want them to have rich full beautiful lives and i know they will!

AJR was right. It really doesn't seem like there's anyone for me
#not talking romance even btw. although sure yeah that too. but.#I don't know. 28 years without the kind of friendships where you casually hang out a lot#without a social network that you can see weekly.#it's not that I don't appreciate online and farther away friends. it's not. god knows they are my lifeline#but I can feel my heart growing a little more tired and a little colder every so on#and look. I go to activities and have some groups I genuinely enjoy being in#but it has to be said there are 0 individual bonds with anyone there. I enjoy the environment and physical presence of the group#but I can't call any one individual a friend. and that is hard#I know people say to find activities for shared interests and I'm sure some people find friends that way#and I have fun and new experiences but I don't. make friends. like it just doesn't happen#I don't know. I feel like I might as well wander through life as a ghost. virtually impactless#and it's fine. I'll wander through life. I'll travel to experience temporary kinship. all along I'll feel sorrow at the prospect of leaving#but in the end I will come home to an empty house and that is where one day I will die#it's just how it is. it's how it's always been. at a certain point you can't really ask for that miraculous turnaround in life anymore#nothing is going to magically shift. not when life time and time again grabs you and says this is who I am for you#you can wish and wait and hope and it will never ever be anything but this#bien rambles

hey. you don't have to give up everything else in your life to "prove" your dedication to art or anything else, btw. thats how you end up isolated and miserable and burnt out. please try and keep in touch with your friends and have a healthy balance of activities - being able to keep doing something in the long term is way more beneficial than any intense but unsustainable schedule you might set yourself.

Lately I realised that the less I expose my private life on social media the better I feel. Same with the people that surround me and claims to be my friends. The less I say the more what I do goes well. I don’t know why but people seems to be jealous about what I do without them.

neocities guide - why you should build your own html website
do you miss the charm of the 90s/00s web where sites had actual personality instead of the same minimalistic theme? are you feeling drained by social media and the constant corporate monopoly of your data and time? do you want to be excited about the internet again? try neocities!!
what is neocities?
neocities is a free hosting website that lets you build your own html website from scratch, with total creative control. in their own words: "we are tired of living in an online world where people are isolated from each other on boring, generic social networks that don't let us truly express ourselves. it's time we took back our personalities from these sterilized, lifeless, monetized, data mined, monitored addiction machines and let our creativity flourish again."
why should I make my own website?
web3 has been overtaken by capitalism & conformity. websites that once were meant to be fun online social spaces now exist solely to steal your data and sell you things. it sucks!! building a personal site is a great way to express yourself and take control of your online experience.
what would I even put on a website?
the best part about making your own site is that you can do literally whatever the hell you want! focus on a specific subject or make it a wild collection of all your interests. share your art! make a shrine for one of your interests! post a picture of every bird you see when you step outside! make a collection of your favorite blinkies! the world is your oyster !! here are some cool example sites to inspire you: recently updated neocities sites | it can be fun to just look through these and browse people's content! space bar | local interstellar dive bar creature feature | halloween & monsters big gulp supreme peanutbuttaz | personal site dragodiluna linwood | personal site patho grove | personal site
getting started: neocities/html guide
sound interesting? here are some guides to help you get started, especially if you aren't familiar with html/css sadgrl.online webmastery | a fantastic resource for getting started with html & web revival. also has a layout builder that you can use to start with in case starting from scratch is too intimidating web design in 4 minutes | good for learning coding basics w3schools | html tutorials templaterr | demo & html for basic web elements eggramen test pages | css page templates to get started with sadgrl background tiles | bg tiles rivendell background tiles | more free bg tiles
fun stuff to add to your site
want your site to be cool? here's some fun stuff that i've found blinkies-cafe | fantastic blinkie maker! (run by @transbro & @graphics-cafe) gificities | internet archive of 90s/00s web gifs internet bumper stickers | web bumper stickers momg | gif gallery 99 gif shop | 3d gifs 123 guestbook | add a guestbook for people to leave messages cbox | add a live chat box moon phases | track the phases of the moon gifypet | a little clickable page pet adopt a shroom | mushroom page pet tamaNOTchi | virtual pet crossword puzzle | daily crossword imood | track your mood neko | cute cat that chases your mouse pollcode | custom poll maker website hit counter | track how many visitors you have
web revival manifestos & communities
also, there's actually a pretty cool community of people out there who want to bring joy back to the web! melonland project | web project/community celebrating individual & joyful online experiences. Also has an online forum melonland intro to web revival | what is web revival? melonking manifesto | status cafe | share your current status nightfall city | online community onio.cafe | leave a message and enjoy the ambiance sadgrl internet manifesto | yesterweb internet manifesto | sadly defunct, still a great resource reclaiming online social spaces | great manifesto on cultivating your online experience
in conclusion
i want everyone to make a neocities site because it's fun af and i love seeing everyone's weird personal sites that they made outside of the control of capitalism :) say hi to me on neocities

So basically, in a case about him shoving money at someone so they shut up about him. . .he can’t shut the fuck up himself. I would say something clever and funny here, except the sad part is that this is just so normal in current politics that it’s just. . .not hilariously absurd behavior anymore? Not to say that it’s not absurd - it is beyond such, but it is just. . . predictable, I suppose.
I guess this is how I feel about politics lately? Either I get mad at everything or I try to laugh at everything and normally that works because politicians usually aren’t so tragically stupid so very often, but now I just kinda have to chuckle at the particularly eyeroll worthy things like this, and try to ignore everything else or my brain will explode.
#maybe that’s my biggest pet peeve about the current state of politics#Normally I like having discussions with people#of various mindsets and lifestyles and backgrounds#while my personal standpoint about many if not most political things is pretty solid. I also enjoy finding out more about things.#It’s always nice to learn more about things.#when it gets to a point like this or let’s be real-a point like where it got a few months ago when. More like a couple years ago honestly#There’s just so much. Too much. And two try to process all of it especially in a way such that one keeps up with useful discussion? oof.#I know I meant to do something else in these tags – something more specific – but at least on mobile#I just lost like three tags because the one I was working on hit 140 but when I was warned#I didn’t get to backspace or anything. I just kind of deleted the whole thing.#And in my confusion and attempt to undo what I had done#I managed to backspace a couple times and lose the finish tag above that one#and of course my first attempt at explaining that I had lost two tags turned into three tags because#I lost the first attempts that said two tags because it went over and yet again my attempt of not backspace this time#I just lost another two tags and then at this point I don’t even remember where I was going with this train of thought either#tl;dr: I wish I could take as much amusement from this as I want to but I can’t because shit like this is just so fucking normal#but hey it’s better than January 6 or trying to nuke a hurricane so I suppose I can live with it#right so I realize that I got to read all of the things I just typed in the page before this#so I did and while I have a laughable amount of nowhere near the fuck enough spoons#there’s a very good chance I am going to come back to this when I get on my iPad or PC#There’s also a very good chance I’m going to completely forget this post exists if not the app entirely#but given that I finally downloaded this on my actual phone instead of my tablet for the first time in years#And I just lost another fucking tag#this time naturally it had to be one with Contant that I remember as semantically important#but similarly naturally of course I don’t bloody well remember#right so I am going to go back to the stuff I was doing now cause I was doing stuff before I saw a Tumblr notification#which I didn’t actually look at at the time but but I can absolutely be sure that it was a hefty part of the reason why#when I found something that I wanted to post about and a context that had a larger audience and not just individuals#didn’t have FB/Reddit (tho lbr I would probably have a 6 foot nose if I tried to imply they were great social networks)#which goes back to seeing the tumblr notif & still having a big Nostalgia so. hi here i am
