The reason for this is because we are products of our environment. . Listening to negative people complain for a period of time really affects your #mood, your abilities and they can make you feel #depressed and question your own values, beliefs and skills. . The #negativepeople will throw away and not celebrate your #achievements and will actually talk about their #problems. You will leave the conversation wishing you could have done something more productive than socializing with a #timevampire or #energyvampire. It would be better to hang out with friends that empower you, that support you and encourage you instead of losing your energy like this. . And focusing most of you time on #negativity or #negativethoughts makes you lose your energy and valuable time there. . Negative people see the bad in everything and they “have a problem for every #solution” as Einstein said. . They don’t want to feel good about something you gave them because they are addicted to focusing on what they don’t have, of what they missed or could have. This may cause you to feel like you are #notgoodenough for them no matter what you do. But nothing will ever be good enough for them, not even you. . Why would you want to hang around people like that? . I know it’s not easy if they are your family or co-workers, but you can chose your friends carefully.
