Brief Personality: Mikey acts tough. For his entire life he has had to manipulate in order to survive. He can usually get what he wants with little effort. But he is, deeply troubled.. Usually he is incredibly chatty but lately he’s just been.. quiet.. He no longer seems to care about much, he’d rather just sit in the silence.

Brief Backstory:

Michael was born out of a prophecy. He was destined to destroy heaven and the earth. However for the time being he was born to his mother and “Father”..

Mikey had a pretty normal childhood for the most part. He was a good kid, he went to church, he played with his toys and didn’t make much of a fuss. However, as he grew older weird occurrences would happen around Michael.

His mother didn’t seem worried. But everyone else noticed the birds dying around him, the water becoming blood, bad omens seemed to follow the child. And it culminated in Michael’s house burning down with his mother and “Father” inside. He was the only survivor.

His aunt was given custody of him.. He didn’t know it at the time but he was not responsible for the fire. However everyone believed he was. He was forced to repent over and over and over and over to get rid of his “sins”, to get rid of the demons inside of him.

Michael felt hollow.. He felt the judging eyes of everyone on him. No matter how good of a kid he was he felt destined to be evil. It felt like the omens were getting worse and worse as he got older and older.

The church held an intervention for Michael. They told him that he wasn’t good enough, that God was disappointed in him. The demons were still inside him because he let them stay inside. He began to cry and say that wasn’t true and that he wanted to pure he wanted to be good.

The church members took him into the baptistery and forced him under the water, waterboarding him over and over again to try and get him to “repent for his sins” and that the holy water will cleanse him of his omens.

Over and over again he was forced underneath the water, he kept screaming but the water kept filling his lungs, when he finally was able to get some air. He felt this righteous anger fill his entire body, and he attacked the people who had forced him underneath the water.

He attacked the church leaders and in the struggle they gauged out his eyes. And stabbed him. Pushing him deep into the baptism water, as his blood filled the pool it turned a dark black color. And he ascended from the baptism a monster.

Michael killed everyone. The people in the church, his aunt, everyone. Everyone who had hurt him. Everyone who had forced him into bowing before a god who would never forgive him. This “awakened” something inside of him, a power he never knew he had. And he began to crave meat.

He became the monster the church thought he was. And he ran away. And he decided that he would become a god, if a god who watched him get tortured by the heads of his religion then he could easily become one.

He created a cult, Ascensionism. He being the god, and his subjects being his eyes. He saw through them, and when it was finally time they would ascend and become his food. Becoming one with their god.

After many years in the cult however he eventually feels.. empty inside.. He begins to question what the hell he is doing and disbands the cult. He goes on a long journey of soul searching, trying to figure out who he is, what he is, etc. and one could argue he is still on that journey now even tho he is much healthier than he was back then.

Avi proposed! It was private, but sweet nonetheless- they were stargazing at Skull's moms' farm when Avi popped the question. It was expected, but a lovely surprise either way.

Everything on google for "amethyst engagement ring" is too elaborate for these two- but it is a simple black band with an amethyst in it.

They planned it with the help of Skull's moms!

Actually, no! It wasn't too stressful! They had a pretty clear vision and Skull's extended family and the coro gang all offered to help! (Skull's moms, uncles, and Army helped with food, Metry helped with choosing the clothing for the grooms, and the aunts helped build the place)

Who were the first people to find out about the engagement? How did they react?

Skull's moms! Avi and Skull were called in for dinner, and Skull told them that they had something to tell them. Mama Rose stood up, walked to the fridge, got a bottle of champagne, and said "Okay, what is it?"

Skull chose his sister Watersplat as his best woman- because yknow, they're siblings. Of course he would.

Avi chose Vintage as his best man. Team Purple-blood made up a while ago and Aviskull both agreed that they wanted Vin in the wedding party, so he was Avi's best man.

Was there any drama whatsoever regarding the guest list?

Not really! The only bit was if they should make Sky, the S4 pet cat, a part of the wedding party. Eventually Avi caved and Sky the cat was carried by Mask- one of the Bridesmaids (Skull always referred to himself as a bride due to reasons- so his half of the wedding party was bridesmaids, regardless of their gender)

Court married!! They signed the papers before leaving on their honeymoon. The actual location was a more woodsy spot of Skull's parents property

Ooh! okay! i know for a fact I wont be able to find these online but. Avi wears a standard tux with a purple tie. Skull wears a white one with a blue tie- and a flower crown with a veil.

They have quite a few Viking traditions in their wedding- such as it being on a Friday (Sacred day of Frigg, goddess of marriage), exchanging of weapons, and also a GIANT feast at the reception- Skull's family loves to cook, so there were leftovers aplenty for people to take home.

Who was the ringbearer?

The ringbearer was Prince- Skull had no family members young enough, and Avi isn't in contact with his family beyond his dads. So, Prince and Regent were the closest in age to be flowerboys/ring bearers. So while Aviskull exchanged weapons, Prince gave them the rings and Regent was the flowerboy. It was a sight to behold, seeing this emo spreading flowers

Who married them?

Mother Lily. She also "initiated Avi into the Beryl clan" by giving him a second name. In this case, Orchid. (all of the beryl family has the name of a flower. Rose, Lily, Snapdragon (Skull), and now, well, Orchid)

Tears were had on both sides. Here's the vows-

So I'm assuming the list meant reception because I've been explaining the ceremony all the rest of the time so here.

It was essentially a traditional viking feast! Tons of food and drink- specifically honeyed mead. The wedding couple are required by tradition to get drunk but due to Skull being a sleepy drunk and Avi being an embarrassing dad while drunk, the two opted not to. When the sun went down, there was dancing in firelight and firefly light. Skull also rigged the bouquet toss- throwing it to Army (being an expert aim he was point-on) and letting Aloha propose (aviskull and Aloha planned it in advance. Army of course said yes after a few seconds of flustered stuttering)

Did anyone pass out from a food/alcohol coma?

Watersplat. Kinda. She can hold her alcohol pretty well. However, the mead her moms make made her incredibly sleepy after three drinks. Vintage took her home with well-wishes for his future in-laws (as vinsplat were engaged but wanted to wait until after Aviskull's wedding to start planning their own, mainly so there was less stress on their family)

Do they have a honeymoon? Where to? How soon after?

Aviskull's honeymoon is renting a cabin near a rocky beach and spending two weeks there. A rocky beach specifically because there's less people and also they get to bring back cool rocks and shells.

Not in a grand dramatic fashion- they renew their vows to each other. Not as a grand declaration of love to everyone, but as a secret, sweet intimate affair to each other.

Ten on his new Represent capsule, grappling with creativity, and evading genre lines.

As Ten Lee - a vocalist and dancer in K-pop groups NCT (with whom he debuted in 2016) and Super M, and Chinese group WayV - is musing over his proclivity for partnering music or visual styles in a way that others deem strange, he veers off on a tangent. “Anything can be matched… except juice and coffee,” he says, suddenly. “Those two should never be.” Ten is infamously anti-fruit. It stems from a mistaken process of association in childhood where “I had the image of a spider and the image of fruit mixed up,” he laughs awkwardly, “so now whenever I put fruit in my mouth, I think there’s spiders in my mouth.”

Random abstractions such as this pepper his rapid-fire conversation, like small fireworks fizzing through the dark. Excitable, enthused and sharply alert, if Ten’s energy was visible it would be a shimmering mantle of gold and silver dust. As a dancer, he moves with a sinuous, controlled power that can shift from elegant to explosive on a single beat. As a visual artist, the Bangkok-born, multilingual 25-year-old recently added the title of designer to his growing list of achievements, launching an already sold out collaboration with the bespoke merch platform Represent.

Aptly, he named his collaboration “What is ??? THE ANSWERS”, for although being a chameleonic artist is one of Ten’s greatest strengths, the personality traits that enable this created within him question marks around how he saw himself fitting into the world. “People ask me, ‘What kind of music do you like?’ And I say, ‘I like R&B but hope it sounds rock’. And they’re like, ‘That doesn’t make sense’.” It was troubling to Ten that people began telling him who he was and how he should be, instead of accepting him as is.

In a recent Instagram Live, the myriad of Ten’s contrasts tumble forthwith. He’s the doting cat-dad. His inner emo, who loves rock music, shows off dried roses, with the stern, black, geometric lines of the large tattoo on his inner right arm sometimes visible. But he’s also delicate in a way, with his butterfly tattoo and hair lightly permed, who names daisies as his other favourite flower, and plays Fousheé’s breathy TikTok hit, 'Deep End'.

“Have you seen the image where I have my name in a cross in lots of different languages?” He pulls the image up on his phone. The design sits on his Represent long sleeve tee. “I was thinking [about this], like, what you’re saying... Ten has this luvvie flower side and a very ‘rawwrr!’ side. I’m always like, ‘Ten, what kind of person are you?’ I do ask myself that, too, because everything I like is so different [to the other].” He could have conceded, and reined himself in. He’s pushed back instead. “I thought, ‘I can be anything I want, I can be this in the morning and this at night. I can be any person I want to be’. And that’s what makes me comfortable and happy.”

On his Instagram, Polaroids feature scrawled messages, like “Don’t tell me what to do!” and “Whatever! I’ll do it my way”. The designs of his collaboration seek to challenge being boxed in by other people’s standards, thus limiting ourselves. The recurring symbol of a cross tipped with arrows is a nod to the Chinese letter for 10, but doubles as a plus sign. He’s added it to his Instagram, writing “TEN_+•10” in his bio. “A plus sign can mean that you’re adding on and growing.” He points to another version of the arrow-cross, one with short diagonal dashes between its points that symbolise light. It means, he says, “that I’m radiating. I’m burning, I’m active, I’m doubling myself.” He touches his forearm, where crowning his geometric tattoo is a blazing sun. “I have this, like, if you want to be the light, you have to burn. I relate to that.”

This isn’t to say Ten’s self-exploration is complete. While celebrating his strengths, the artwork also portrays parts of himself not yet conquered. He admits to being a chronic overthinker: “Even very small things that happen to me, I rethink a thousand times, and I get stressed out because of the things I do. Like, the main theme [here] is me overthinking but trying to find an answer even though it doesn’t have any answer.” Fittingly, spiral shapes dominate his designs, looming large amongst bright, bold shapes that evoke 80s Pop Art and graffiti, though Ten shies away from defining himself as “fully an artist, I’m not in the position to say things like that yet.”

“I’m still learning and trying new things. You learn by getting different elements from different people and I’m in that stage now.” He enjoys wandering the infinite halls of Instagram and Pinterest where he screenshots art that he likes, lost in the images, often for hours. He explains that he’s mostly influenced by whatever his current visual obsession is. “I’m interested in tattoos lately so my paintings look like tattoo designs. I’m that person who, when they see stuff, it goes into my brain and instantly comes out from my hands,” he laughs.

Ten’s introduction to art and design was through his mother, who believed music, art and sport were more important in a child’s development than traditional academia. “She didn’t care if I got an A* or not, just don’t get an F or a D,” he grins. Like any kid forced to do something, Ten railed against spending his weekends at art school. He attended but he didn’t draw. He befriended his teacher and other pupils and, as they worked, he chatted. “I was a very talkative kid! When I came to SM Entertainment (in 2013), I had a lot of my own time because my parents were in Thailand and I was alone. I had to absorb all the new culture and adapt to a new environment.’” When he felt surrounded by “negative energy”, he began drawing, enamoured with the space and freedom it offered because in art, as he often says, “there’s no right answer.”

There is, however, sometimes a middle ground. His goal was to make the Represent collection accessible to his diverse fanbase. “I wanted to make things that people can easily wear because it was my first project to make something with clothes and it’s a collab. If you go too far out, no one will get it. If you go too far back, people won’t reach for it. So finding the middle ground is important but that’s the hardest thing to do. If it’s my own project, I’ll be like, ‘I’m the president of this brand, I’m gonna make all the weird clothes that I can imagine!’”

He sought second opinions to ensure his designs landed the way he hoped. “I have a lot of good friends around me - my choreographer, (SHINee and Super M member) Taemin hyung, my manager. I randomly ask people I’m comfortable with and have known for a long time, like Mark (Lee, of NCT and Super M). Mark has the same kind of perspective as me, but I’m a person who is arrghhh!” He waves his hands in the air. “And he’s very calm. I need a person who is opposite of me because when I’m in a mood, I talk nonsense - ‘I wanna do this, I wanna do that, I wanna make this!’ - and Mark’s like,’Bro, calm down’,” he says in a rather uncanny impression of the Canadian-Korean.

Ten works fast when he’s drawing. He has to. He describes his personality as someone who can't wait until the next day to do something. “I’m very impatient,” he smiles. “If I’m going to paint or draw, I’m going to finish it in, like, two hours. I can’t sit down for three hours.” When inspiration hits him, it’s off the back of deep contemplation, sometimes about the mundane - “Like, why do the cats come to me when they’re hungry only? Is it selfish or instinct? - at other times, something affecting him emotionally.

But whereas his job as a singer and dancer sees him project his energy outwards, art offers the opposite. He’s often alone in his room when he works. As is for many artists, the right mood is fundamental. “When I’m in a good mood, I can’t draw,” he half-sighs. It’s also a multi-sensory process. “Smell or the temperature of the room, that really helps me draw. I light three or four candles. And when I draw, it’s kind of heavy, the feeling,” he explains. “It feels like you’re sinking into something, into yourself, and everything seems so small. Everything narrows down into me, my pencil, the paper.”

The more work he does in different creative mediums, the less Ten’s desire is to keep them separate. His art, dance and music influence each other, whether it’s customising his own collaboration pieces, a choreography video in an art gallery or dancing underwater with a film crew. When someone tells him that something won’t work or match up well, he refuses to let the idea go until he’s attempted it.

“I’ve had that since I was young. I think everything is possible. If you don’t try, you don’t know. When people say it’s impossible, like dancing in water for three minutes, I’m like, then let’s make it possible. You don’t need to walk a straight line [in life], you can walk this way,” Ten says, pointing along an invisible line before switching sharply in direction. “Then go back on track, go that way, come back. No one should tell you to walk in a line, I don’t see the point of that.”

I was looking at myself in the mirror, assessing my outfit, when Cardan sneaked into the room. His training with The Ghost was paying off, he was as silent as ever.

I was looking at myself in the mirror, assessing my outfit, when Cardan sneaked into the room. His training with The Ghost was paying off, he was as silent as ever.

I saw him prowl towards me through the glass. He slid his arms around my waist, staring at me through my reflection.

Today is October 31st and Oak insisted we join him in celebrating Halloween. Of course, this means we all need costumes. I decided to go as the one character I knew more than anyone else.

Cardan.

I looked through his wardrobe for my outfit. It was quite hard to find a top that was loose enough to account for my breasts, as most of his clothes were tailored to fit him perfectly. I also found a dark blue coat, its collar covered in iridescent feathers. I gave up trying to find pants in his collection, as my hips would never fit, and just wore a pair of black leggings with black combat boots.

"What do you mean, dear Jude?"

"The only thing you love more than booze is yourself."

He raised his brows, making a show of looking offended. 

"Your capacity to lie to yourself will always impress me,” he said then plucked a kiss to my temple, “I love you more than I love wine."

I don’t think I will ever get over him being  caring . It felt as if he was a completely different person from the boy who would disturb lessons just to get attention.

Cardan turned me to face him, then inspected my face. “Something is missing.” He took my hand and directed me to his personal vanity. He opened the drawer and pulled out some cosmetics. He lined my eyes with kohl and coated my lashes with dark mascara. I suppressed my laugh when I saw he was so concentrated that he had stuck out his tongue. Then, he took out some glittery gold powder and applied it on my cheekbones. 

He took a step back to look at his handiwork and smiled.

“And the final touch,” he said as he plucked his crown off his head and put it on my head at an angle, “Voilà!”

I looked at myself in the mirror. I did not bother with any kind of wig. I put my hair up in elaborate braids, letting a few short curls hang in a few places. Yet, even without his signature dark hair, I still looked like him. I made faces at myself in the mirror, trying to get his grin right. 

Finally, I got up. “Your turn now, dearest Cardan.”

When Heather learned that Cardan would be coming too, she started suggesting outfits for him. She even went as far as drawing some of them. Something about his otherworldly looks inspired her. Maybe it's the tail, since a lot of her designs included it: a devil, sexy cat man and my personal favorite, a cute puppy.

In the end, I chose my own, petty idea. I walked in the closet and pulled out the outfit I had the servants clean for the occasion. 

“A King needs his Queen,” I grinned as I revealed the Queen of Mirth dress and crown.

Cardan threw his head back laughing. “You sure know how to hold a grudge.”

Thankfully, my husband was a team player, and he went with it. Even in this, he looked strikingly handsome. Or pretty, I guess. Unfair.

We landed in Maine in the early afternoon. It was strange to be awake so early, but Cardan did not seem bothered at all. We met up with Vivi, Heather, Oak, Taryn and Garrett at the entrance to FallFest, some kind of harvest festival that was held every October in the local park. It had everything from harvest contests to food stands, a section with typical carnival games, a small hay maze and even a haunted house.

I was not surprised to see my eldest sister dressed up, she went crazy for Halloween every year. Vivienne would dress up for a week straight before Halloween, even when she still lived in Elfhame. She was wearing a tight black bodysuit with a tail and claws as well as a black leather mask with cat ears. Heather dressed up as some kind of … plant lady? She had a short bodysuit made of green ivy leaves, green stockings and a long red wig. Oak was with them, wearing a reddish pink shirt with a big yellow star on it. I can only assume they went for pop-culture references I am unfamiliar with.

The real surprise was seeing my twin Taryn and her quiet lover also dressed up.

"What are you dressed as?", Cardan inquired, cocking his head to the side, "You ought to have dressed as Jude, you have already proved to be so good at it."

I snapped my head at him and slammed my foot as hard as I could on his. He was joking, of course. But the peace between me and Taryn was still fairly new. We mostly kept to ourselves and rarely talked. Garrett was back with the Court of Shadow and we were friendly, but he kept his professional and personal lives completely separated.

Cardan was hopping on one foot, scowling at me like he did not understand why I was upset. Taryn understood, though. She was sheepishly looking at the ground.

"I… I'm sorry for tricking you, Cardan."

I tried finding something to say to end the awkwardness. I wanted Cardan to apologize for what he said, but I knew he would not. Fae don't apologize.

Thankfully, Vivi broke the silence. "C'mon guys, we're here to HAVE FUN!" she complained, "What ARE you two dressed as?"

"Phantom of the Opera." Garrett replied.

"Nerds."

"Says the one dressed up as Catwoman." Garrett mocked.

The bickering continued, though less mean-spirited than Cardan’s original comment, as we walked down the main path. Our first stop was the pumpkin carving station. Each couple got their own pumpkin to carve, though Vivi and Heather’s pumpkin was mostly Oak’s handiwork and the couple making sure he did not stab himself. Taryn and Garrett made some intricate flower design on theirs, Garrett being the one doing the carving of course. As for us, well… Cardan had creative ideas, but no skills with a blade, and my skills were more of the  stabbing  variety. We settled on giving our pumpkin a traditional jack-o-lantern face. 

After the effort of carving pumpkins, we were starving. Oak was complaining, dragging his feet on the ground so much that Vivi and Heathers were holding both of his hands to pull him along. Behind them, I saw Taryn with her arm looped around The Ghost's.

I was suddenly very aware that Cardan and I were the only ones not holding hands.

Nobody knows us here. We needn't keep the appearance of the power couple, together to rule and nothing else.

I took my hand out of the pockets of my borrowed coat and tentatively brushed my fingers against Cardan's hand. I saw him whip his head towards me, and I blushed when I witnessed the surprise in his face. Soon enough, he smiled. One of those smiles he kept for me and only me, blissful and happy. The smile he gives me when we have the time to spend hours cuddled together in bed, enjoying each other's presence.

Cardan took my hand and squeezed. I squeezed back.

We spent the rest of the afternoon eating good food, trying to guess the weight of giant pumpkins and visiting a haunted house. Cardan was fascinated by the weird human traditions and absolutely ecstatic about the food. Pumpkin-spiced flavored food will become the new trend in Elfhame, judging by his reaction.

When the sun started to go down, Taryn and Garrett left for Madoc’s, who decided to try giving out candy to the trick-or-treaters. Heather and Vivienne had initially volunteered to take Oak trick-or-treating himself, but when one of their friends invited them to a party, we offered to take him instead. Oak was excited to spend more time with me and “Uncle Cardan”. 

I had not gone trick-or-treating in...10 years? Maybe 12? Since my parents died. Cardan, obviously, had never gone. So, dressed up as each other, with Oak dressed as some cartoon character, we roamed the residential streets of the city to beg for sweets.

“If it is called ‘trick-or-treat’, does that mean I can make bargains if someone refuses to give me candy?” Cardan asked as we watched Oak go up to a house.

I gave him my best ‘I’ll-strangle-you-if-you-do’ stare. “No. No turning people into cats, no curse making them hear imaginary insects buzzing around their ears.”

“Why is it called trick-or-treat, then?”

Vivienne told me they had to explain this to Oak, too, a few weeks ago. Someone at school had mentioned being excited to go trick-or-treating and my brother had been very confused.

“I don’t know.”

Cardan hmmed and smirked, “Perhaps the Folk were involved when the holiday was first established.”

I crossed my arms.

“If that’s the case, not all traditions need to be brought back.”

He laughed at that, then reached around me and pulled me closer to him.

“You win. I won’t trick anyone,” he crooned in my ear, “but I want a kiss for being well behaved.”

I rolled my eyes dramatically. “So needy.”

Once again, I had to remind myself that nobody knows us here. Nobody recognized our costumes today: in the mortal world, dressed as each other, we were only The Guy In An Ugly Dress and Fashionable Emo Boy. Nobody knew we are King and Queen of Elfhame, therefore there are no expectations to be the hedonistic king and his murderous wife.

I slid my hand behind his neck and pulled him down. I felt him smile as I captured his lips with mine.

“Ew, gross!” Oak’s voice came from the other end of the driveway, “Stop that, come here.”

Reluctantly, we pulled away from each other and looked towards the house. Oak was in front of the opened door, talking with a couple. 

“Honey, look,” the tallest woman exclaimed as we walked down the driveway, “She’s dressed as High King Cardan!”

“Oh my god,” the other one replied, sounding so very human, “that sounds kind of profane. Do you think he would have her hung for this?”

As I looked at the two women, I realized that Oak had stumbled upon the house of a Fae couple. They saw through his glamour, and he saw through theirs.

“This is my sister Jude,” Oak started, “and this is my Uncle Cardan.”

Both females had gone completely still and were staring at Cardan with wide eyes. Simultaneously, they bowed deeply. 

“Forgive us, Your Majesty. We weren’t expecting you.”

“We so rarely see our kind around here,” the shorter one said nervously, “we… wanted to meet who little Oak was with.”

“We have tea, if you would like.”

I dared a glance at Cardan and noticed he seemed amused. Was he delighted to make them uncomfortable?

“That won’t be necessary,” he said as he took my hand, “My  wife  has us on a tight schedule, we have other houses to visit. Have a nice evening.”

I caught the emphasis on  wife  and realized they only recognized him as royalty. ‘  Your Majesty ’, singular. I could tell from the two females’ expressions that they also understood their mistake. I felt bad for them knowing they had no ill intent, probably unaware of the situation in Faerie. Yet, I could not help the grin that crept on my face. I worked hard to become High Queen. I fought and killed my way through the ranks, almost dying. Multiple times. I made decisions that will haunt me until the day I die. I am High Queen, and the Folk must know. 

“It was nice meeting you,” I say as I take Oak’s hand, “You are welcome to visit us at the palace if you wish.”

My memories from before Faerieland were to blurry, I did not remember getting so much candy. Did Taryn and I get that much? How could we possibly have eaten all of that? Cardan and I each had a smaller bag, only accompanying Oak to some of the doors, but Oak had multiple full bags. Once he went to sleep, Oriana was more than happy to give us some. She had learned how bad candy was for children’s teeth - even little Fae kids. She filled little bags for us to take back to Elfhame. 

Like anyone eating candy for the first time, Cardan went a little crazy. He wanted to try everything. Faeries might be different in a lot of ways, but I now have proof that chocolate is addictive even to them. 

The High King of Elfhame ate so much candy that he fell asleep on the couch, to the former General’s dismay.

As our ENFJ king Chan would totally have a island that revolved around the others 

Sure he’d have his own space too

But he’d def be one to put up lots of fun camping space and interactive inventions

A cute little barbecue grill on the beach with a wooden table and log benches 🥺🥺 and a picnic area too

I feel like he’d also go out of his way to breed black roses but that may just be me 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Black and white flowers everywhere, and maybe some red roses too?

He’d also be a generous donator and frequently visit the others to see if anyone needed help with anything

Just stopping by to check in and drop off some hardwood, or iron, maybe even gold 

...That’s a big maybe on the gold cause we all know that stuff ain’t common and if you want Marshal on your island you better have some handy

In addition to this, I think that the generosity would only go so far and he’d be quite the tease too

Running around left and right ratting the others out during pranks and “borrowing” things from the others

For villagers, he’d have a plethora of the animal kingdom on his island

Maybe vice versa

His character would likely be of similar resemblance but I can totally see him playing with the fun hair colors and face paint 

His wardrobe would consist of similar attire too: black, white, caps, hoodies, and chains 

Y’all AC fans know that one punk outfit with the chains across the bodice? He’d own that

His home is a toss up: on one hand it could be very chill and cozy, but on another I’m seeing workout gear in one corner and iron tables and a TV and radio going, maybe (definitely) a music studio setup (similar to Weber’s home but more hardcore LMAO)

All in all, I think Chan would be a chill/causal player that would be happy to help his friends and community while also playing hard ball once in a while just to mess with everyone 😂♥️

Villagers included would consist of Raymond, who may or may not be an island celebrity

And let’s not forget Queen Ankha

But to Minho, all his cat citizens are equally loved and cherished as a valid part of the community

His whole aesthetic would be cats too

That includes a cat cafe

His flag would probably be a paw print 🐾 or his cat’s names, maybe a cute scribbling of their faces

And if you disrespected that, there’d be blood to pay

I can see his character closely resembling him as well, with a little paw print on his cheek? Maybe some whiskers? 

He’d thoroughly enjoy visiting the others islands “if he absolutely had to”

Swipe some goods

And bundle them up to go on the plane out ✈️

For the most part, I see him being more of a hermit on his island that only heads out On Demand

Even then, it’s kind of a toss up: good luck getting him to leave his children behind 

If you’re nice to him, he MIGHT let you come and view the splendor...m a y b e

Shoot, when it came to special visitors, like Redd or K.K., he’d probably try chasing them off

He’s got Felix and Chan to help him tho, so he’d be breeding black flowers before you know it

Maybe a little gray and navy blue tones to break up the solidarity somewhere

She’s gonna be running to Big Brother Blathers saying some scary short guy is following her around the woods

Poor Binnie just wants a Starry Sky wall...until he sees how bright it actually is

When he started the game, it was one of those days

So he wanted to make the message clear 😤😤

Also, Don’t Bother Me seemed to be too long 🤷🏻‍♀️

Go Away was straight to the point ;D

On Go Away, you’ll encounter lots of cute characters 💓

Innie has a very cute and true-to-himself aesthetic

He doesn’t understand much of the mechanics but he’s working on it okay?

And he’s getting better every day!

Eight-thirty comes and finds Virgil and Patton sitting together, Janus in line, Virgil’s siblings at either work or the apartment. Logan is calling Roman because they’ve been apart a whole twenty-four hours and it’s unbearable or something.

Janus, ever a loyal friend, even after the bitter fight junior year of high school saw between Virgil and Remus and Janus, stands in a coffee shop in line. To be fair Janus’ soulmate works and owns the place, choosing to be a barista, if a little eccentric of one.

“Good morning Virgil!” Patton chirps, already seated and downing a coffee.

“Mornin’ Patton,” Virgil covers a yawn sluggishly, “Sorry about last night, sobbin’ on you.”

“It’s fine kiddo,” Patton laughs, “I’m glad you seem a little better today.”

“Haha, yeah.” Virgil sighs, then, “You okay? You seem-”

“Me? Oh I’m- Guess I shouldn’t lie to you. I’ve been better but I’m fine.” Patton sighs, struggling to tell the truth but he needs the practice.

“Bia got ahold of you and tricked you into self-care huh?” Virgil snorts, “What is it with her and taking care of people?”

Patton shrugs, “I don’t know kiddo.”

Virgil sighs, then relaxes slightly when Janus appears, sitting down and setting two drinks down and a pastry Virgil had requested.

“Hello Patton,” Janus says simply, “So you’re Virgil’s soulmate I hear?”

“Yep!” Patton’s beaming again.

Virgil knows he isn’t over Micheal, and he knows that he has to work on that, but he thinks he'd like to maybe try a friendship with Patton, and later hopefully more. If Patton really is good, as sweet as that smile on his face, Virgil can’t help but think that Patton might be worth all this.

Patton with the bright, kind smiles and wild curly blonde hair. Patton who runs a flower shop of all things, who runs a flower shop? Patton does. Patton who hugged a stranger despite Pattin clearly having a rotten day, but he hugged Virgil.

It was a nice hug, Patton and the blue apron from his flower shop. Patton and those round glasses, and pretty grey eyes, soft storm cloud colored and pretty.

Virgil’s brow wrinkles, this isn’t love, not so early. Not even quite a crush, though it’s headed that way.

Patton looks to Virgil, “So, what do you do for work?”

“I’m working at Starbucks, which, gross.” Virgil says, “But I’m gathering funds to try to buy a building and open a record slash music store.”

“Oh, that’s awesome!” Patton smiles, “We could see about starting a donation jar at the flower shop, and the tattoo shop, and here, and I’m sure others would help, but we can try to help you!”

Janus snorts, but bites his tongue, used to Patton’s extreme need to help people.

“Oh- uh, that’s nice of you.”

“It’s nothing, I’ll set it up when I open!”

“Oh, uh- thank you?”

“So, Virgil,” Patton says, “Do you have any pets?”

“Oh uh- yeah! I have a kitten, actually. She’s all black, and I named her Lucky, she’s so sweet.” Virgil says softly.

“A cat?’ Patton blinks, “I love cats!”

“Patton,” Janus gives a long-suffering sigh, “You’re allergic.”

“Not super allergic, and I take medicine! It’s fine. They’re so sweet!”

Virgil blinks, “Uh- what about you Patton, any pets?”

“I have a dog, he’s a little chihuahua. I named him Maximus, or Max.”

“Oh, wow,” Virgil nods, “Sounds cute.”

“He is!” Patton smiles, tilting his head and clapping his hands together, “You should meet him! Not right now though.

Virgil laughs softly at the excitable man, “I do like animals.”

“I like them too,” Patton smiles, “What was your favorite class in high school?”

“Oh, easy, Mr. Palison’s Advanced English literature and his writer’s workshop.”

“I’ve heard he was nice,” Patton says.

“How?”

“I talk to Bia, and Janus, and Remus, “Patton says simply, “They seemed to like him.”

“Oh- oh my god I’m so sorry.”

“What? Why?”

“Uh-”

“It’s okay Virgil, I’m not mad or anything. You’re safe here, y’know?”

Virgil sighs, looking to Janus who nods softly. “Uh- thanks. Or whatever.”

“Of course.”

“Favorite color?”

“Light blue. And sunshine yellow.” Patton smiles softly, “What about you?”

“Black and purple.”

“I sea.” Patton grins, “Are you shore?”

“Were those puns?” Virgil groans.

“Yep!”

“Usually,” Janus sighs, “Terrible. Really.”

“Hey,” Patton pouts before he smiles again, “LEttuce taco bout this!”

“Was that the groan of my beloved snake whore?” Remus asks, appearing from seemingly nowhere with a new cup of coffee for Janus, leaning down and kissing the mentioned man’s crown of the head.

“Hello dear,” Janus says simply.

Remus punches Virgil’s arm harshly, “Hello emo panda trash rat!”

“Hello disappointment,” Virgil smirks up at Remus, “Don’t you have a job to work?”

“No, it’s break time.”

“Hi Remus,” Patton smiles, giving a little wave.

Remus looks to Patton, “Don’t hurt Virgil. They won’t find you if you do.”

Virgil winces, “Remus-”

Patton sobers and is oddly serious, even Janus and Remus seem a little surprised. Patton’s voice is still bubbly but a little more stern, “Remus, I will never ever hurt Virgil. And if I do, I’ll be the first to fix it. He is my friend now. I love him already!”

Virgil startles, “Friends?”

“I- yeah! I know it’s not much, but it's a start, clearly we’ll get along, we’re made to get along!” Patton smiles.

Virgil laughs, Patton is something else, but- Virgil would be lying if he said he didn’t like it. And maybe it really is not much, not in the world where his life just fell apart, but it’s a start, it’s an olive branch.

Patton thinks Virgil gets it, he doesn't know what the poor man’s just lived through, but surely the man understands loss.

Virgil with the choker and my chemical romance t-shirt. Virgil and that biting look he seems to wield as a cover and safety blanket, if what Patton has seen and heard is any indicator.

Janus and Remus watch the two, and they have their suspicions of how this will all play out, everyone does. But Janus hopes he’s right, and that’s not a common occurrence, but he hopes Patton and Virgil make each other happy.

Kat’s Sanders Sides AUs~

Because I can’t stop my imagination from coming up with a million AUs, I decided to just draw these and let you guys pick which one(s) you want to see more of (and even though I didn’t draw it for this, this does include my disney-fairytale-superheros au)

Also note that I’m gonna start on my Plance Descendants AU comic soon so any art I do for these AUs will be done when I take sanity-breaks from the comic (though text answers I’ll do anytime)

WITCHES AU

Logan Thorpe: specializes in astrology and curses, keeps his book of shadows on a usb stick that he keeps around his neck, works as a latin teacher at a college

Roman Valentine: specializes in glamours, candles, potions and sigils, his book of shadows is a large dark red hardcover book with gold accents, works in a beauty shop

Virgil Sinclair: specializes in tarot reading and crystals, his book of shadows in an average sized black diary and he keeps the key for it around his neck, works in an old bookshop

Patton Woodward: specializes in herbology and kitchen magic, his book of shadows is a binder covered in stickers, works in a flower shop

The boys started their coven when they were 16

Roman and Logan write most of the spells and blessings

Patton always gives them all (and himself) flower crowns for each sabbat

Virgil likes to walk through graveyards and one time reanimated a skeleton of a cat and named him Jack (Jack is Virgil’s familiar)

Patton’s dad married Virgil’s mom so Patton and Virgil are step-brothers

BEWITCHED AU

Virgil is a witch who one day decides to live in the mortal realm

On his way to an interview for a job, he literally bumps into a mortal named Roman Sanders, an advertising agent

And after the interview, they keep bumping into each other until they agree to sit down for some coffee

They hit it off and start to date, which eventually leads to them getting married

On their honeymoon, Virgil tells Roman the he’s a witch and after proving so, Roman doesn’t need to think over anything, he loves Virgil with all of his heart and nothing’s going to change that

Included in the cast is Virgil’s older brother Logan who likes to follow the rules, the rules that state that while it’s not forbidden for witches to marry mortals it’s certainly frowned upon

Patton Hart, Roman’s mortal friend who’s the secretary on Roman’s floor

And Thomas Sanders, Roman’s mortal older brother

THE ADDAMS FAMILY AU

Patton Sanders is hired as the new nanny for the Addams family

He nearly quits on his first day but he’s never been one to give up so he sticks it out

Patton gets along fine enough with the heads of the household, Virgil and Roman Addams, but their children, Dee and Thomas, are proving to be quite the hand full, and he doesn’t get along with Virgil’s brother Logan

But everything turns for the better when the children come home from school one day in tears because they were read fairy tales where the bad guys die

So for the rest of the day, Patton and the children write their own fairy tales where the bad guys don’t die

After that, Patton starts to get along better with the children and eventually Logan too

FRIENDS AU

Six friends live their every day mundane lives, and these six friends are:

Virgil Sanders: he never left his emo phase he just refined it over the years, lives with Dee, has yet to find a stable career and has worked various jobs

Patton Walters: actual ray of sunshine who deserves nothing but happiness, lives with Roman, works in a bakery and hopes to one day own his own bakery

Logan Sanders: god help him he’s the only sane one of the group, lives on his own, works as an astronomy teacher in college

Roman Prince: dramatic gay with a heart of gold, lives with Patton, works as a waiter in his local coffee house but is trying to break into acting

Dee Daniels: is slightly obsessed with snakes as proven by the snake scale tattoo on his face, lives with Virgil, studied to be a lawyer but works as an over-the-phone salesman

Remy Knight: doesn’t know what a sleep scheduled is, lives on his own, his career is interpreting dreams and telling people’s fortunes via tarot cards and crystal balls

Logan is Virgil’s older brother by three years

Virgil and Patton have known each other since high school

Patton has had a crush on Logan since he met him but has tried to get over him because he truly believes that Logan will never like him back

Roman was Logan’s college roommate and they’ve been friends since

Virgil calls Roman “Princey” and Roman hates it and always corrects him

(The “Carol” of the group is Dee’s sister Danielle who’s pregnant and living with her girlfriend)(the boys all love and support Danielle and her girlfriend and will fight anyone who mistreats them)

ONCE UPON A TIME AU

Honestly I wasn’t going to include this one but the drawing came out too good to not share it

Virgil is Snow, Roman is Charming, Logan is Emma, Deceit is Regina, Thomas is Henry and Patton is Neal/Baelfire

Logan was born via fairy magic so while he wasn’t psychically born he’s still technically biologically Virgil and Roman’s child (when Thomas tells Logan that he’s so fucking confused but eventually lets it go ‘cause it hurts his brain to think about it)

Logan Swan is dragged to Storybrooke by Thomas, a child he had adopted for a brief time ten years ago

Logan ultimately decides to stay in town for Thomas and moves in with the shy and anxious school teacher Virgil Blanchard, who Thomas claims to be Snow White

He, Logan, becomes the new sheriff and often butts heads with the mayor Dorian, who’s the Evil King according to Thomas

hayley ones:

hayley was always bringing weird animals inside and trying to convince stan and francine to let her keep them. multiple instances of her running inside, covered in dirt, and holding a garter snake begging ‘please please can we keep her??’ while steve screams in terror.

that hc i mentioned of francine always standing up for the other kids ,, hayley inherited that trait. my god she was The Most protective kid during her school years, she absolutely refused to let anyone get walked over when she knew they didn’t deserve it.

hayley was a wolf girl growing up,, change my mind. and black wolves were always her fave.

hayley definitely read animorphs growing up. those books shaped her and her fave character was cassie,,, also once she got more comfortable with living with roger she bullied him for not looking as cool as an andalite or a hork-bajir.

hayley went through an emo phase during her middle and high school years. she tried really hard to get an emo fringe, she was always blasting mcr and the used and three days grace, and her first job was at a hot topic.

hayley and stan were obviously tight-knit buds back in the day. like ,, she’d set up tea parties for them in the backyard, going out to movies was almost a weekly activity for the two of them, they were always planning picnics together,, they were really close. also every time they went to familyland together, hayley was always trying to drag him along with her to the more Extreme rides. francine kept telling her she’d go since she knew stan wasn’t the biggest fan of those rides like she was, but hayley kept insisting and it’d always end with stan near traumatized. big cia man goes on scary missions daily but he can’t handle a little roller coaster.

hayley’s hair was . pretty often a Mess when she was young. it was staticky, always sticking up at some angle, she often got too excited that she never took the time to comb out her hair in the mornings. plus it’s always been a habit of hers to play with her hair whenever she gets too excited or nervous, so even if she got it all straightened out it’d still turn into a mess by the end of the day.

hayley was always covered in scrapes and bruises. there was never a day where she didn’t have a bandaid somewhere.

she was a really tall kid during elementary school. she was almost always the tallest kid in her class. around high school everyone outgrew her though and now she’s . really short compared to most people her age, but yeah when she was little . Tall Girl (2019).

hayley skateboarded in middle school, and she was really damn good at it. she got in loads of trouble for skateboarding on school property and she thought she was the coolest kid for doing it.

stan and francine tried really hard not to curse around hayley when she was little (once steve came around they gave up trying), but occasionally something would slip out and hayley would always parrot it. stan looking at a bill and muttering ‘shit’ and then in the living room hearing what is obviously a toddler screaming ‘SHIT’

hayley, like steve, was always kinda lonely during her school years. steve eventually found friends in snot, barry, toshi, and roger too once he moved in, but hayley never really learned proper social skills as she was often pushed away for being the loud rowdy ‘annoying’ kid, and they always viewed her attempts to try to get close to others as too ‘desperate’. she has found friends in her adulthood, but yeah during her childhood she mostly just stuck around her family.

hayley was That Kid who would always use those fake clip-on earrings you’d get from claires, as well as cutting up the spiral from her notebook to use as a fake lip piercing, and she’d spend all day trying to convince her classmates ‘yeah no it’s real’

hayley liked stealing her dad’s camera and using it to film fake vlogs. they have multiple reels that go from cute family videos, to hayley making lps vids and fake cooking tutorials.

hayley drew a lot growing up and francine still has dozens of her drawings magneted to the fridge. hayley’s always cringing and asking her to take them down, but tbh francine’s never going to.

hayley’s always loved being outside at night. occasionally she’d sneak steve out with her to play in the backyard and it’d always lead to them in the treehouse, and stan catching them because they kept shining their flashlight against their bedroom window.

steve ones:

steve’s definitely adhd, autistic, and dyslexic. (the latter’s literally canon, and the two former ones are hcs that to me feel so obvious that i’m always a little hesitant calling it a hc). i really like imagining his parents being really patient with him in this area, even stan learned to be more composed and gentle with him when it came to this, and the two of them helping him find ways to cope. francine especially enjoyed nights helping him read.

steve’s interest in birds has been with him for pretty much his entire life, i like to imagine it’s always been his biggest special interest. also i’ve noticed there’s random scenes where stan’s displayed a bit of an interest or at least an appreciation of birds, so i kinda like to imagine stan used to take steve to the park for birdwatching trips when he was young before steve started going with roger. sometimes francine and hayley would tag along, but mostly it was just stan taking steve out and listening to him ramble about all the birds he’s spotting,, every time steve had a bad day stan’s immediate solution was to take him to the park.

when roger first moved in, he and steve were inseparable. steve was obsessed with learning everything about him and his species and his home planet, while roger saw steve as the one safe person to be around (francine, hayley, and klaus were still anxious towards him while stan was too strict and controlling for him). for a good few months until he started bonding with the rest of the fam roger would get really mopey whenever steve would go to school or leave to hang with his other friends, and the second steve walked through that door roger would excitedly hug him and try to lead him off to go do something together.

@a-d-lesbian got me into the hc that steve’s a theater kid and like ,, i’m always thinking about steve getting a tiny little background role in a 6th grade christmas show that they were required to do as a class, and he just loses his mind. he convinces stan and francine to let him invite the grandparents, he has francine film every scene he’s in where he just . Stands There. and then after the show when they get home he makes them all rewatch them all because he’s really damn proud of himself.

steve’s fave books growing up were always xenofiction. stuff like warrior cats and guardians of ga’hoole and redwall. he loved that shit. like i’m just imagining him trying to get his friends to larp warrior cats but none of them read it so they don’t know what he wants them to do, and he keeps assigning them warrior cat sonas and calling them by warrior cat names at school,, and he keeps calling god ‘starclan’ (which makes stan. Mad). am i projecting? that’s a secret, i’ll never tell.

steve was absolutely the Anime Kid in middle school. the amount of times he got yelled at for naruto running in the hallways was far too much. and his faves were fruits basket, nichijou, and k-on.

i’m so obviously projecting with my steve hcs here but i’m not gonna stop and i’m gonna say steve’s a trans guy. i know it makes no sense in canon, but canon’s dead it’s mine now. anyways he’s known since around the time he started middle school, and stan and francine love him and support him and i don’t have much else to say without getting Too Projecting, but yeah steve’s trans.

steve was pretty socially anxious growing up. he did get better as he grew older obv, but when he was little he was A Mess in school.

steve loved making flower crowns when he was little. he learned how to in his 2nd grade art class and just obsessed over it for a good few years and he was always making them for the fam. francine, stan, and hayley didn’t mind, they thought it was cute. i can see hayley learning to make them too and the two of them exchanging crowns,, and francine probably learned how to make some too during her college years and steve would always get really excited whenever she tried making some with him. poor roger though, once he moved in, steve took him as his new model and roger was forced to suffer through sitting in the hot sun while steve covered him in flowers.

steve never stopped singing. oh my god, stan loves him but he eventually reached a point where he started hiding their disney movies because steve would always loudly sing along and he just wanted some peace and quiet to work.

i like to imagine klaus has a sibling-esque relationship with pretty much the entire fam, but especially with steve. he was always pretty protective of him despite not really being able to do anything if he got hurt, and klaus was always there to talk to whenever steve needed it.

steve’s always liked to help francine bake. originally it was just so he could claim the mixer of batter before hayley could, but he quickly got really invested and he still loves helping out.

and in general for the both of them:

steve was the type of kid who bonked his head against the table a little and would spend the rest of the night crying while francine comforted him,, while hayley was the type of kid who could fly down the stairs and leave an actual dent in the wall and she’d still jump up assuring everyone ‘i’m okay!!’

hayley and steve used to play pokemon together growing up. hayley was more casually into it while steve was more obsessed (i like to imagine it was a special interest of his growing up). nowadays hayley doesn’t play it too often, but every now and then some big news will happen like new starters getting revealed, and steve will show her and hayley still can’t help but get at least a bit excited each time.

francine tried to do cute little family halloween costumes a few years. the idea of them doing an addams family group costume is precious.

francine always took them out for christmas photos every year. just dozens of photos of the four of them in the tackiest sweaters. they don’t do it as often anymore (or at least they don’t take as many photos outside of a few while they’re setting up the tree) but they still have framed photos of them that they set on the fireplace mantle every year.

listen …….. there were definitely multiple instances when they were really little of stan coming home from work ,, and steve and hayley excitedly tackling him,,,, and stan dramatically acting like he’s being attacked and losing ,,,

despite roger being a Dick, he was super protective of the two of them back in the day. either of them come home from school with a bruise, and roger’s already planning out an elaborate revenge scheme.

as for stan ,,

i’m adopting @stancine’s hc to say he was definitely a country boy. i kinda like to imagine his uncle on his mother’s side lived on a farm, and stan was really close to him growing up and it just sorta became monthly to take weekend trips to see him.

stan loved horses. he was definitely a Horse Kid, and his fave breeds are clydesdales and friesians.

sheep too!! one of his favorite yearly activities is during the springtime when his uncle helps him out with shearing the sheep.

also stan loved camping. he loved going out on walks through the woods and he especially loved fishing, but the second the sun went down he cowered in the back of the tent next to his mom because he was terrified of the noises coming from outside.

stan was a really quiet kid growing up. he sucked at properly standing up for himself, that’s kinda the reason he’s so harsh on steve for accepting mistreatment because he knows how hard it is and he doesn’t want his son to go through the same shit he did.

mother’s day was always one of his favorite holidays. he’d be obsessed with planning the whole day around trying to make it perfect for betty. making her breakfast in bed and saving up his allowance to buy her a gift, and he’d always make elaborate art projects for her every year.

stan . tried to learn how to ride a motorcycle in high school. it was this random obsession he got for no reason where he just really wanted one, but he always panicked whenever he got the chance to try one out. never even got his permit because he was so scared.

stan had a lot of pent-up anger as a kid that he never even recognized as anger until he got older. because of that he often broke his toys on accident because something wasn’t working correctly, and sometimes he’d snap at teachers on accident. obv he still had a problem with it but at least now he knows what’s going on and can at least try to work on dealing with it.

betty used to read to stan at night when he was really young. they didn’t have many books around so it was just stan listening to her read the same four dr. seuss books over and over. he didn’t mind though.

stan’s always loved writing and a good chunk of his free time was writing little short stories. he took a creative writing class in high school and he almost immediately became the teacher’s pet.

stan was a pretty lonely socially inept kid and i like to think growing up he tried getting a lot of his ‘advice’ on how to interact with others through television. one time he tried to get a girl’s attention by doing the ‘throwing pebbles at their window’ trope, but he fucked up and got too big a stone and threw it too hard, and just shattered this poor girl’s window. and stan spent the rest of the night crying in his room before caving and turning himself in.

i can see him being really into superheroes when he was younger. just him bounding around the house with a blanket for a cape, acting out random scenes he read out of the latest issue he bought.

stan was obv a dog kid. he’d often find himself going to the adoption shelter near his house just to see the dogs there whenever he was feeling down. and his fave breeds were golden retrievers, pit bulls, and shelties.

god i have tons more for all of them but i’m gonna stop because this is already long enough as it is.
