I agree, and I'd even argue that Roman is already canonically Pride. He's Ego in the colloquial idea, he's Self-Confidence. He's what tells Thomas "you can do this!", he's what tells Thomas "You look amazing!", and yes, sometimes he does the opposite and tells him things like "if it's not your best, don't bother sharing it", but even that comes from a place of pride. It comes from a protective place of "if you put out less than your absolute best, you will be judged negatively for that. To avoid being seen as anything less than amazing, don't do this."

Roman is already Pride because he is Ego. The problem is society's view on the word "pride" and as tired as this may sound, that is due largely to the pervasiveness of Christian ideals, which say that pride is a sin and must be avoided at all costs. Pride isn't generally seen as just having confidence and being self assured, but as being a selfish asshat. And yeah, pride can hit a point of being a snotheaded, loudmouth who won't shut up about himself and lean into arrogance that way. But pride can also just be being confident in what you know and in your skills and abilities and even appearances. Having pride doesn't have to mean being an arrogant twat waffle, it can just mean confidence.

And I think that's part of who Roman is. That part of Thomas who is confident in his ability as an actor, who is confident in his appearances, who revels in that external validation that all humans need.

Roman is Pride, most people just mistake pride for mean spirited arrogance.

“Roman is Pride” can be really interesting when explored with nuance and depth and understanding of his character, but I feel like most of the time when I see it, it’s just people thinking that Roman is arrogant and selfish, which sucks.

Headcanon that Remus sleeps with stuffed animals too, but they aren't exactly like the ones Patton sleeps with. Mostly in that they are literally animals that have been stuffed. One of his favorites is a taxidermy raccoon that he sleeps with every night, but he also likes this stuffed coyote he repurposed from roadkill because it's just large enough to feel like it's an actual person he's snuggling up to (even if he cant hear a heartbeat behind its ribs anymore)
