can we talk about how much queer and trans joy was this season? maggie and nina. they/them muriel, saraquel, beelzebub, even GOD. "you're a good lad" "im not actually, either". that one shopkeeper and his non binary spouse, played by a non binary actor. beelzebub and gabriel. shax, nina and maggie all thinking azi and crowley were together. also yes i'm gonna mention: crowley and aziraphale's kiss. it's just, i get that everyone's hurt and so am i but can we please focus on how beautiful this season was to us? we got so much and i'm so happy, despite the ending.

Thoughts on an Elsbeth with a lot of family drama in more ways than one and what feels like some attempts at manufacturing season-ending-drama for Kayabeth since they didn't say Kaya was leaving or having her role reduced

a little bit of mom-kid-kid's-boyfriend bonding as only they can

who's the tour guide, they sound familiar

they're going to end up watching that movie aren't they

that's a little morbid and I'm with Teddy on the anchovies

nice twist on the formula, Elsbeth trying to solve a non-current murder

so what's what looks like a bit of a domestic dispute got to do with anything

getting flashbacks to SHMT and Jacqueline Burton

or maybe detective earlier than we think

I like all those pieces individually but not together

I feel like there's mother-son parallels here I'm missing

and I vibe even more with Teddy and Elsbeth's vibing even more with Roy

so that's why Michael Emerson was credited

he's acting even icier (despite the actors being married irl, mom while we were watching was joking about Foe Yay between the characters (if Elsbeth ends up with (or at least more-than-a-fling with) a guy I don't think it's gonna be like that or even with a guy of that temperament))

Teddy what did you say to her with the dog as the social catalyst

so it wasn't what I think just explicit parallels

Elsbeth gets scared, Kaya saves their butt (and that's how that case I haven't heard of played in)

Elsbeth has her epiphany and forensic accounting is reminding me of SHMT again

and we come full circle and Elsbeth goes all theater-bitch on this bust-up again

Yeah anon I feel you. Watched it yesterday and I would put it at a solid ‘I don’t like sand’ it’s confusing, ridiculous, and utterly fails at everything it tried to do. Felony Dave die in a ditch challenge 2k23. She would not fucking do that. Ahsoka go back to the Malachor character development hole. How the fuck do you think the force works.
