Transformers AU: Mentors, Friends and Idols.

Continuing my Transformers AU, featuring some of the people close to Orion and Elita.

Red Alert, Ratchet and Arcee are collectively known as "The Nice Medical Ladies across the Archival building".

They're an entire family unit of gay robots.

Ratchet is by far the oldest, and the matriarch of the family unit. She's also the oldest robot of the same generation as Megatron and Codexa. She may be a grouch, but she is also full of wisdom.

Red Alert is the rapid response medic. Less strict than Ratchet, but tends to be short on conversations outside Medical matters.

Arcee is Ratchet's primary apprentice and basically was taken in as the closest thing she has to a daughter. Diligent and studious, but with an occasional wild side (and surprisingly good hand-to-hand combat skills).

Orion's Pal Wheeljack! Among visitors to the Archives he's one of the most frequent… because he's always "drinks knowledge as one would drink energon". Most of the knowledge he seeks is for his zany experiments range the gammut of harmless to "this can blow up a mountain". Perhaps Orion's most loyal friend, second only to Elita.

The Jetfires of Clan Skyfire: Three generations of robots serving as warriors of the sky as part of the Cybertronian Elite Guard. They're Elita's idols, and an exemplar to all flying robots out there.

Jetfire the Elder is the biggest and the funniest (outside of service). Jetifre is the most professional of the bunch. A knight in battle-tested armor. Jetfire the Younger is the smallest and brashest of the bunch. He has a need 4 speed.

Leader-1 is Elita's flight instructor on the Cybertronian equivalent of weekends, and a local commander of a crack team of air transformers known as "The Guardians" in most days. Inspirational and brimming with self confidence. It's because of her Aerial has the code name of Elita-1!

Not saying that ghosts are all they see cause it's very much not. Naruto is still Naruto but sometimes there's that outline of an old memory that just doesn't fade. A little like deja vu I guess. Kakashi and Ren are so glad it's peacetime because even the thought of dandelion blonde beneath a too-big boulder makes breathing that much harder.

I imagine he gets trained an insane amount because both Kakashi and Ren want him to be able to defend himself. Even while it's peacetime, they're shinobi, there's always a risk. So long as Naruto is on active duty he'll always be in danger. With both of his guardians growing up/serving in the third war when they were barely older than Naruto it's practically a given.

Not that I think Naruto would complain about being able to learn jutsu/shinobi skills. He'd probably be stoked about it until he has to spend like four hours straight throwing shuriken and reading survival guides about edible plants. He complains about it. Loudly. mb lil bro half of ninja training is literally just ingraining reflexes and learning the land.

mmm academy-era Naruto going to the memorial stone and ranting about his day to it in the way he's seen both Ren and Kakashi do in the past. That's so cute and sad like "and then Shikamaru slept the whole time but it was supposed to be a GROUP project! Can you believe that!" and Obito is in the bushes nodding his head along like the good uncle he is. (He literally tried to murder Naruto when he was less than an hour old.)

Naruto just talks and talks and talks. About everything and nothing and its probably like the least depressing one-sided conversation Obito has ever heard in front of his grave (looking at you Kakashi, Ren).

I imagine that Naruto kind've treats the stone/Obito's memory fondly. Both Ren and Kakashi talk about him in warm tones and with growing up hearing stories of him it's hard not to feel like he knows him. He's not there, obviously, but if Naruto closes his eyes and imagines that scowling boy in his parent's team photo while he talks it almost feels real. (Honey, you've got a big storm coming.)

To their family, Obito is forever thirteen. He's passionate and has a short fuse. He loves sweets and has eyes and hair darker than the night, he's a sucker for a sob story and helps old ladies with their groceries. Naruto finds it hard not to see a friend in a ghost he's never met.

AA and then post Uchiha Massacre, Naruto just stares at the stone and wonders that if Obito were still here would he be gone too? Man I need to see what's going on in Obito's head during that.

On an unrelated note i wonder where the fuck Jiraiya is in all this. Bro is just out and about doing fuck all as two fourteen year olds take care of his godson and he's running from responsibility😭 i bet he sends guilt money. Ren literally doesn't give a single shit because even if Jiraiya did try for custody he would literally be getting his hands chopped off. No way in hell is Ren letting a pervert like that raise a kid that's a recipe for disaster. The money is nice but Ren could not give less of a fuck ab that mans guilt. Like "oh, you feel bad for not owning up to your God Father title that Minato, my late sensei, entrusted to you? Good."

Lazarus Pact AU

In the last moments of his reign, King of the Inifinite Realms attacked the victor and fled to the mortal plane to prevent the Tyrant known as Pariah Dark from absorbing his core and stealing his powers for himself. Those who couldn't challenge the new king's rule and wanted nothing to do with the barbaric monarch followed soon after.

Notably, the seemingly countless elite warriors who were revered for their expertise at ectoplasmic manipulation who joined the Former King throughout his eons-long time as ruler of the Realms.

However, in an environment with very little to no ambient ectoplasm, they had to use their energy reserves sparingly until they found a new home. The journey nearly resulted in them nearly fading from existence in the void of space, but they had found salvation in the form of beings called 'Guardians' who held similar beliefs to the monarch himself.

So, a pact was made, and conditions had to be met. The most important were the following:

1) The Warriors of the Infinite Realms would house themselves in artifacts that were virtually indestructible to any form of harm to keep them safe.

The Guardians would create power rings to keep them safe.

2) Ectoplasm was essential for beings of the Realms. Without it is to perish, so an energy would be needed to replenish their cores.

The Guardians got to work and made ectoplasmic generators that could revitalize a warrior's energy within a matter of seconds to carry on in their duties. These devices were to be called Lanterns.

3) A stealth team would be made to keep an eye on the happenings within the Inifinite Realms, specifically the young king Dark, and reported to the former king.

The Guardians established an elite team of Green Lanterns composed of their best members. These mission reports would be classified and kept secret from the Corps at large for the former king's eyes only.

4) Should Pariah Dark lose his crown, they would be informed by the former king. Should the new monarch be a just soul, the Green Lanterns are to protect this being with their lives and come to his aid in his hour of need.

Failure to do so will result in the forced disbanding of the Green Lanterns Corps via the destruction of the his own core. The Guardians, despite their scientific prowess and failsafes, could not hope to stop this event if it came to pass.

Upon hearing this, the Guardians would anxiously make their weekly scouting parties turn daily and scour the Realms for trouble.

5) From that day onward, the former king would no longer be addressed with his old title. A new one would be made.

The Guardians would address the entity as Ion, the Being of Willpower.

When Ion booms across all power rings that the new king is in need of immediate assistance, the Guardians send every available Lantern to intercept the threat.

Yes, absolutely!!! Here's everything I have on Vellum so far!

Keep in mind, all of this is subject to change in the future. I plan on making a fully fleshed-out story for her! (Hopefully a comic!!!)

Backstory

Vellum, a child of Paperjam and Lux, is raised and trained to be an elite of The Paragon. Due to coming from a lineage of strong descendants, she is expected to be a prodigy—from the age of 10, her mentorship under Lux and Dream begins.

Vellum, as a child, is starstruck by the opportunity to start training; it is something she had been anticipating all her life. She was raised seeing her mother, Lux, help protect the Multiverse, and has always looked up to her. She has always believed in the greater good.

Vellum, growing up, showed having strong skills in both fighting and emotionally connecting with others, similarly to Dream. This is what led others to believe Vellum would eventually be Dream’s predecessor. This caused her relationship with the other members of the guard to be… strained, to say the least.

What is The Paragon?

The Paragon is a guard led by Dream, Guardian of Positivity. He realized that fighting alone against Nightmare and other multiversal threats bore fruitless; and thus, he created The Paragon, recruiting Out!Codes (usually from the Omega Timeline) looking for a purpose to join him.

The group’s intentions and focus is to maintain peace within the Multiverse, protecting it from threats.

It is split into two factions:

LUMINARES

The Luminares are the healers and positivity spreaders. Members are typically skilled in healing and connecting with others; they help AU’s that have been attacked by Nightmare return to normal, bringing as much positivity as they can. These are usually more pacifistic monsters/humans in nature.

STARSHEILDS

The Starsheilds are the warriors of guard. Members are typically knowledgeable and skilled in battle and weapons. Most members recruited are from the Omega Timeline, looking to avenge their fallen friends and family and fight back against their primary threat, Nightmare. This can result in Starsheilds who don't exactly fight for the right reasons. These are usually monsters/humans more violent or determined in nature.

Dream is a master of both spreading positivity and battle; he leads both factions. Lux was appointed as the Captain of the Starsheilds because she ended up being more naturally talented in fighting than healing/spreading positivity. Being the daughter of Dream, she is extremely strong.

Personality

Vellum is a primarily positive, hopeful person. She faces challenges with a strategic mindset, and she’s quite clever when coming up with solutions to conflicts. Her creative side from Paperjam helps a lot with this—she’s always one to think outside the box. She’s also quite analytical.

Although she was raised to be a warrior, she has a strong sense of empathy and compassion—to a fault. In her younger years (older teen - young adult), she isn't as ruthless as she is supposed to be; she often attempts to talk with enemies before resorting to fighting, persistently. Even enemies they have fought over and over again, enemies that show no chance of redemption. This led to hesitancy to fight, and has occasionally opened the door for Nightmare to attempt to manipulate her. Dream and Lux worked with her on this, teaching her to resist these urges and to put on a stronger front, just as they had to do.

She is fiercely protective of her family and friends. This determination to protect them—less so the multiverse itself—is what fuels her to keep going. She has learned to shove down her empathic nature when it comes to threats, and will stop at nothing to keep her loved ones out of harm’s reach.

She often takes things at face value, as in too literal. She struggles to understand sarcasm, metaphors, similes, etc. She also struggles to understand vague sayings; she needs clear and proper instructions if she is to do something correctly.

Despite easily being able to reassure and comfort others in their emotions, she herself is quite guarded. She struggles to open up about how she feels, which can lead to misunderstandings or distance within her relationships.

She can be bluntly judgemental to those who have differing ideals and values than her. She can come off as condescending in this situation.

When majorly criticized in her decisions, she can be overly defensive, shutting down or reacting aggressively instead of considering feedback. She’s stubborn in the ways she was taught, and will not be so easily convinced to change.

Familial Relationships

Lux: Vellum’s mother.

Vellum’s relationship with Lux started out as strained, since Lux was often busy with her job. However, once Vellum started training, she grew very close with her mom—she was Vellum’s primary mentor, and guided her through the same hardships Lux had to go through during her own training. Vellum has some mixed feelings regarding her role she was raised to be, and can sometimes put some of the blame unfairly on Lux. However, she loves her mother dearly.

Paperjam: Vellum’s parent.

Vellum’s relationship with Paperjam is strong, due to Paperjam being the one to primarily raise her for the first 10 years of her life. She loves Paperjam dearly, and sometimes confides in them with emotional conflicts.

Dream: Vellum’s grandfather.

Dream is more of a mentor/teacher to Vellum than a grandfather, and she holds the utmost respect for him and what he strives to do. Dream sees himself in Vellum, and tries his best to be a good grandpa/mentor.

Cross: Vellum’s grandfather.

Vellum is very close with Cross; he has been a major part of her life ever since childhood. As Vellum grew older, she confided in her grandpa about everything; her accomplishments, her failures, her feelings. Cross sees himself in Vellum, especially as she gets older. Being a weapon of war is something Cross is all too familiar with.

Rouge the bat- leader and big sister to the team

Amy Rose- the muscle and heart of the team (and the chef)

Cosmo the seedrian- the medic and sometimes the plus two muscle of the team (she is also the plants and herbs expert).

Cream the rabbit (and cheese)- just a kid but she and cheese are the critter experts, and they also excel at gathering information (no one suspects the cute ones and they can get into small places).

Context:

Rouge forms an elite team of bounty hunters(*cough* found family *cough*) to take care of each other in the unforgiving galaxy. They usually take on A jobs such as escorting, delivery, etc.. though rouge tends to take on more dirty jobs solo (stealing, non-killing bounties,etc.) for more cash and sometimes thrills much to Amy’s disappointment.

Rouge is perfectly content with they’re bounty hunting lifestyle while her sisters have other ideas. Although Amy loves the jobs when they get to help those in need, she wishes it was less transactional and she wants a more stable and safe home. Cosmo longs to find her people and a way to help them. And cream, unlike her sisters, is not an orphan and longs to reunite with her lost mother. This conflict comes to the surface when they encounter three intruders who have “followed” Cream to one of their traps.

Bonus:

Growing up together has caused some habits/traits to rub off on each other. For example, Amy picked up the habit of (sometimes flirtatious) teasing their victims/intruders from Rouge.

What do you headcanon as AU careers for Dick?

I don't much like the idea of Dick as a cop (in Wayne Family Adventures I'm pretty sure they never explicitly mention his job, so I'm gonna pretend he's not a cop there)

Gymnastics instructor seems to be a popular choice in most of the Happy Dick and Nice Batfam AUs and it sounds in character... Except his night job related injuries would be difficult to hide.

Neither Fae nor Talon Dick are likely to have the kind of falling out with Bruce which led to Dick striking out on his own, so they will likely never have the worry about earning their own living. Bruce would no doubt be willing and eager to give them cushy jobs with the WE, or they can just treat Superhero-ing as their full time job. But still, I think they will want an independent, non-nepo baby job.

I like the idea of Dick as a CPS worker, or just with social services in general. He'll be great with traumatized kids, has so much experience both first and second hand to draw on.

And if Fae Dick is with CPS... Well. The lore about fae stealing children is well known, but less well known is the lore that fae steal neglected children.

Now, that can simply be the predator going after the vulnerable, but it can also be in some stories the fae see humans refusing to take care of the children properly and getting their adoption instincts triggered Bruce Wayne style, taking them away from the parents who don't deserve them to a better life.

CPS takes neglected and abused children away from the parents who don't deserve them, to a better life.

Love the idea of a fae as a CPS worker, getting official sanction and human cooperation to do his traditional job :)

It depends on the Au!

I’m very flexible with what I read as long as the author manages to fit it into the story in a plausible and believable way. Like with the Titans TV series where it establishes very early on that Dick is rather feral and not as opposed to murder as Bruce *cough*

But over all I do agree that him being a cop doesn’t check out most of the time since most comics (at least from what I’ve read, so take that with a grain of salt. My comic knowledge is like— 3% if we’re being generous lol.) depict him as being very opposed to using firearms, and to killing. And cops have to carry guns to protect themselves and others, and sometimes also shoot people. So yeah I don’t know.

And acrobatics instructor actually isn’t such a bad idea imo! Yeah there are some pretty revealing suits out there. But if we go with what Dick is wearing in Gotham Knights in between missions it could totally work out! He’d still have to be careful tho, obviously. But honestly I don’t think people will look too closely at someone who does potentially dangerous sports as a living and comes in with a black eye or a broken arm or something.

CPS sounds like a very fun idea tho! Espiecally in regards to Fae Dick! He’s got a soft spot for children and their wide eyed wonder. And kids aren’t nearly as frightened of him if they happen to catch a glimpse of other either. So yeah, perfect!

But now I’m also thinking of the Pied Piper of Hamelin tale, because I can totally see Dick leading a gaggle of kids through the streets and out of harms way if there’s ever a Gotham wide catastrophe going on… hmmmm

Other than that I could also see Dick as someone who takes a job leading and organizing multiple charities (sponsored by Wayne Enterprises) and rising through the Gotham Elite. It would help his vigilante cover (poor and dumb Richie Wayne, always drunk and being scandalous, just like his guardian) while also serving the ulterior motive of rooting out corruption.

Idk that last one’s just a thought (cuz I love good rich people playing other bad rich people and causing their downfall… eh.)

ASOUE AU

Been thinking a bit more on my ASOUE AU for The Outsiders so here are some details from it.

When their mother got pregnant with Darry, she was desperate to get away from the fighting and VFD so that he would grow up safe.

The reason they grew up Greasers is because she saw that as the furthest she could get away from the organization. They don’t typically recruit from the Eastside cause elitism and shit.

VFD actually did find their location and tried recruiting Darry twice before the fire but he didn’t remotely understand any of the codes so it didn’t work.

They wanted to try with Ponyboy but the fire happened before they could. They didn’t particularly care for Soda because they didn’t consider him ‘well read enough’

Darry and Ponyboy (especially Ponyboy) are borderline geniuses in this and it makes Soda feel like he’s worth less than them. Over time he becomes more confident in himself as he saves their lives time and time again.

Darry is strong, but this story’s version of Count Olaf is S T R O N G which is why they have to rely on their intellect

Ponyboy’s nightmares start in what would be book 2, when they’re temporarily ‘safe’

Darry goes through a good chunk of the story without actually breaking down. However, during The Wide Window’s arc he’s the first to break down after their guardian jumps out a window

Darry lowkey doesn’t hate working at the lumber mill

All of them are suffering at the boarding school, but especially Sodapop. He has a panic attack because he thinks he’ll fail the exams and get all of them killed.

Ponyboy gets an obsession with learning everything their parents were hiding from them. Soda and Darry find it pointless at first, but when he actually starts getting somewhere they begin to help

Most of the situations they find themselves in throughout the story stay the same (some change like the marriage plot in book one, but that one follows the same idea but I change some legal stuff of the universe around and instead it becomes an adoption plot.)

However, what mostly changes is the reactions to these scenarios and some of the ways they get out of them.

It would follow both the book and the Netflix show. It would lean to the book but if there’s a detail or the Netflix show I happen to like more or think fits the AU better then I’ll use it.

I haven’t thought much past book 5 yet, but I’d love feedback and other people’s ideas. I’m also willing to answer asks or messages about the AU!

E-8 Au Stuff P1 (old 🤠)

Au ranting time for @g4v1nsgun ✨✨✨ (sorry i took a a while)

So everyone knows both of these groups right, rotbtd and the futuristic four

Yeah we all know them

To my complete surprise there is little to no content with all eight of them, which is crazy cuz this being a crossover fandom i assumed people would go nuts for a team up

So i decided to do it myself, and i introduce them as: The Elite Eight (ft a mediocre edit)

The team dynamics would work the same way they would as in their regular settings, i.e.:

Hiccup and Penny are the voices of reason, Merida and Wilbur are the thrill seekers etc etc

Only difference is now that the group is basically 4 freshmen and 4 juniors we have the classic Mentor and Student dynamic

As for the world building, to sum it up rq. It’s a modern/futuristic with magic universe combining brave, tangled/tts, bh6, bolt, mtr, the incredibles(1-2) and elements of rotg and httyd (specifically race to the edge)

Things like dragons, wisps, and magic all exist, but in a percy jackson type fashion. Only specific people can see these things ykwim

The movies are all canon (not rotg, for reasons to be elaborated on later) but with a modern twist, to be explained below:

As for ROTG, the whole “guardians of childhood” thing isn’t in this au because i couldn’t make it work. So for a modern retelling of that, tldr Jack is basically a teen in the foster system with major amnesia. The guardians are as they were but they’re not “guardians”, more like Jacks new foster family that also happen to be a bunch of magical creatures and myths.

The guardians and their house are basically a fusion of professor xaviors mansion/school for mutants(X-Men), the house in The Grimm Sisters, the treehouse in The Last Kids On Earth and the camp in Percy Jackson.

As for the superhero aspect, Violet and Hiro are gonna get the Peter Parker treatment. They’re hiding things from everyone else, which is crazy because everyone in the group is hiding something and i think that’s super funny

I guess the last post on Celestial!Bee AU since no one seems interested. Anywho-

I suppose after the last one where Sari blasted Bei, nearly killing him Bei got to training Sari to learn to control her new powers. He still got the shivers down his spine when Sari used said powers in training but if you were immortal deity and something nearly ended you ya would be wary too.

Then the whole deal with Megatron and Decepticons got in the main picture- Earlier when Megatron kidnapped Bee to interrogate him, he didn't expect to be face to face with the one who had granted him his powers long ago... The Lord of Wishes himself. They had a talk, in the end Megatron was allowed to do whatever he needed to do under a condition to not kill any of Bee's comrades. His troops knew the order, few were confused as to why the warlord didn't want any corpses and in fact strictly forbidden finishing them off in fights, but they were to intimitated by him to question that.

After the near-death incident the fight for the Allspark happened. Bei wasn't really allowed to interact with any of the mortal conflicts but he still made an effort to go with them and help out on the sidelines without hurting the enemies... Then a bright flash from the tower appeared and a beam of light descended down to strike the giant mech Megatron had created to march on an take the Allspark. Everything around was in ruin, the Decepticons either lay dead or injured, few scampered off before the battle took a more heated turn. In amidst of chaotic serenity they dug Megatron out of the rubble and arrested him but at a great cost... Prowl had died in attempt to sway the fate's favor onto them and succeeded.

After the captured had been put in ship's cells for transport, both Team Prime and Elite Guard had gathered around a table he laid on to honor Prowl, well, all except Bee- the scout has vanished since the aftermath. But not for long... In fact, he was sitting right there on a container- oh wait he looks a lil fucked up-

"Oh, what a loss... Truly a waste of talent, so sad..."

Team Prime has gotten accustomed to Beisilan's antics by now to know he was being empathetic... Elite Guard however- yeah they screamed. Well, except Sentinel- he's "met" this thing before, Bei paid him a nightly visit as a 'sleep paralysis demon' as he put it and threatened him to be nicer or else. It kind of did the trick, at least he wasn't rudely commenting about anything being not the way he wants it.

There was a brief exchange of words between them and Bei before Sair perked up suggesting that if he has god powers he could revive Prowl, right? Sadly, Bei could not... at least not with those that haven't made a deal with him- oh wait what is this scroll- SO turns out that a while before this whole fight went down, Prowl talked with Beisilan about the possibility of their success. It was then that Bei proposed the deal- Prowl was aware that after he had died his sould would serve Bei as a guardian to the Dream Realm, in everything that could go wrong it was a reasonable price, so he signed it, making his soul an asset in Bei's servos.

Prowl's soul was at his command and Bei could do whatever he pleased with it... "Now, I don't know about you- but celebrating a victory isn't a time to be sleeping!" He giggled in his multitone voice before blowing the scroll like a candle- but instead the scroll set on fire that the smoke that came after the flame surrounded Prowl's body. Then a spectar air horn popped out and blasted the sound and in an intsant Prowl jumped awake and fell off the berth. All colored and alive. And spooked for his life, just like he'd been woken up for real. Prowl's contract was terminated and the binding was revoked. He was once again a free mech- but Bei warned that this won't happen again so they better be careful what they do. Then when they were talking Bei lowered himself to the ground and in a puff of smoke he was Bee again- "So- who's ready for a celebration party?!"

So the Elite Guard got to learn what Bee really is and has gotten hit with flashbacks to all the times they were mean to him. The Jettwins may have been scared of him briefly but after Bee showing them few neat tricks they were good, if not a little curious about him.

A long while after the battle and everything settling back into place, Optimus was offered to join in the higher status in Cybertron. He however declined and chose the peaceful life on earth. Their Base had gotten a major upgrade to a proper state instead of a near-ruin thanks to Bei so they did not have to worry about anything. I would sare say Prowl and Jazz had turned their attention to the small altar they build in one of the rooms to leave offerings- they had been taught about the greatness of Primus but after hearing stuff he did from Beisilan they decided to aid the weaker god instead. (no, they didn't start a cult, they were just paying their respects to Beisilan instead of Primus) (altho at this point the whole team would do that so i guess they became some sort of a cult) Bee pretends he doesn't know about the altar or whatever they do in that room but on the inside he's very happy that someone has given him worship at last in over few hundred neons. He continues to unnoticingly bless each and every member that leaves their gifts and prayers at the altar.

And of course, he wouldn't be a mischevious god without some good ol' pranks! It's very fun to mess with the mortal, regardless if he's friends with them or not.

And I think that's it for now. All of the events I had already thought of had been written, up to you whether you wanna know more.

Transformers Allspark: Prowl and Barricade

Good cop and bad cop, relatively speaking. Two members of Cybertonian law enforcement with two views of what a lawman should be.

Prowl believes that the law should be respected, and force may be applicable when needed, but he believes first and foremost that deescalating a situation should be a priority. There's more to proper police work than simply the guy that arrests people. A proper police bot should be one that looks out for the people he protects and serves. Prowl may be the junior partner, but that's mostly due to circumstance than any lack of competence. Recruitment for law enforcement has been quite thin in recent years.

Barricade is known for two things in life: Being more than happy to apply force as a first resort, and being utterly incorruptible. You can't bribe him, and he'll beat you to paste if you try to, and will then arrest you as an afterthought. He's lived the life of a law man, and has seen the awfulness of the commons and the wealthy, and rationalizes his brutishness as "the only way to make people respect, is that they should fear you first." He was once like Prowl, but he sincerely believes, with enough time, Prowl will learn to accept the truth as well. Cybertronians are a tribalistic, self centered group of people, and the law should not care for the tears of the unlawful.

So yeah, in my AU, Cybertron has localized law enforcement, so the Elite Guard and other such entities are that: Elite Guardians deployed only when situations call for it. Prowl and Barricade meanwhile are just the regular joes so to speak.
