For the second ask, yes kuseno lives at the temple!

The first couple of years after the tragic attack Kuseno was Kitsune!Genos his fulltime guardian, currently he once in a while goes on long travels to other temples to learn more about Kitsunes! //Kitsunes get other sicknesses then humans and he wants to keep Genos healthy, so he tries to learn a lot about his species//

Kuseno was,,, generally very surpised at first, mainly because Genos tries to avoid contact with others and especially humans. So for him to even form a friendship bond with Sai was a suprise! But now he doesn’t really mind it )v)

Kitsune!genos has a very floofy and soft tail, 10/10 would recommend for naps

This got a bit more,, lengthy,, than intented so more info will be bellow the cut!

Saitamas purpose in the temple is just,,, chilling and helping Genos defend it really!

In this AU temples are there to protect it’s surrounding villages from any monster attacks, and usually these temples have a handfull of guardians //kitsunes//! Sadly Genos his temple got attacked and almost destroyed by a monster, leaving Genos as only descendant and guardian of the temple and surounding towns.

Genos survived the attack with the help of sorcerer Kuseno! Eventually after a couple of years trying his best to defend it he almost gets killed in a fight, but Saitama the traveler saves his life )v) //Saitama is still strong as hell ofc//

Saitama just stays over for a while to make sure Genos is completly healed, when Sai feels like it’s time to go Genos requests him to stay in the temple to help him!

It takes a while for sai to accept this request, mainly because he doesn’t want to be a burden for Genos. Gen doesn’t mind at all so eventually after a lot of begging he decides to stay °v°

So yEAH saitama is pretty much Genos his friend that lives in the temple with him to protect it, they also do some power training together and most important of all Saitama makes the pretty reserved Genos happy again )v)
