I love the promotion for Sonic 3 where they took a bunch of classic Christmas movie posters and parodied them with the Sonic characters.

How do you imagine hybrids work in love and legends? We've seen elf/humans.

So there are 6 different species and aside from the mermaids, they're all compatable to have children.

I headcanon life expectancy, colouration, and the shape of facial or body features to be gradient traits, so they pretty much randomly combine between the two parents like any other child

Magical traits are probably more binary. So a fairy hybrid child could inherit the eyes, wings, and/or sparkles, or none, with no middle ground. A demon hybrid will usually inherit a faded form of the markings, but they won't always be able to transform or earn horns. Dwarf hybrids might inherit the ability to echolocate vs just having larger ears.

If two species with strong magic have a child, they're more likely to inherit magical traits (e.g. elves and fairies with strong magic vs humans and dwarves with low magic)

Considering the domains are all friendly with each other, I imagine it's fairly common to have mixed ancestry and there's no real taboo aside from the grief of lifespan differences

Percy who stays close to home for college instead of going to New Rome and needs some extra money on the side but has a hard time keeping jobs due to his wild schedule. Then he stumbles into a random bar that is probably too nice to take him on as a server and finds a huge water tank with someone swimming in it and everything clicks for him all at once.

His friends will not stop laughing that he works at a mermaid show, but honestly Percy is having the time of his life. He only wishes random gods would stop showing up to watch his show.

I especially love how you give you’re not afraid to give the characters more animalistic features - like Sebek with the crocodile teefers and I saw the one picture where you explored how moray eels have 2 sets of tooferz (terrifying thanx 😳) and Malleus with a long dragon tonguuuuuuuuue. It’s just so cool to see you explore the twst characters being/looking like that!

I saw a couple pictures where you branched into Savanaclaw, but I’m curious… if you’re up to taking requests, could I see your take on Leona? I saw one of your old drawings of him, but I’d love to see another one because he’s my favorite lol 🙈

Thank you, you are so nice! I find humans... very boring? I kinda don't care for them. On the other hand I love animals, and they are the most fun to draw for me, so if I am given an excuse to add more animal features to a humanoid design I will take that and RUN.

extra tidbit since you reached the bottom of this post: the necklace lisanna is wearing is a friendship necklace natsu gave her for the birthday after happy hatched, it's incredibly precious to her and she wore it around her ankle the whole time in edolas and it helped keep her from thinking she was insane and just dreamt up earthland :3

oh also like 4 months before lis left earthland the strausses all went and got matching ear piercings as a sibling thing bc lis and elf werent old enough for tattoos but they wanted to be connected somehow
