Kingdom Where Nobody Dies

10 years ago, Emma's childhood came to an abrupt end with her father's cancer diagnosis. Forced to move from Iowa to Guangzhou for his care, she left behind her friends — and left behind the secret country she tells herself she no longer believes in.

10 years ago, Ty answered the door to police officers with hands on their guns. Ready to extract a confession and get this case solved. It's always the boyfriend, they concluded when Olive disappeared, and this boy has no alibi.

10 years ago, Olive opened a portal in the middle of a corn field and walked through, never to be seen again. She never had a childhood in the first place, aside from the stolen moments in Ty's and Emma's homes.

10 years ago, a boy walked out of that portal. He calls himself Ian, though that isn't his name. He came to Earth for ibuprofen, for elevators, for conversion pants, for prosthetic legs that fit like 3D printed gloves. He came, as well, fleeing a secret.

Today, Emma finally has the chance to travel back to Story City, Iowa. Ty knows that Emma isn't crazy; Emma knows Ty isn't a murderer. Together they're going to recruit Ian to help them find Olive and clear Ty's name... but Ian's past is about to catch up to them.

you know what, that’s it, I’ve had it. I’ve always loved teen wolf so much, it is such a comfort show for me, but I’ve avoided engaging in much fan activity for it for a reason, and any of you who also like Scott know exactly why. It really hurts to keep excitedly rediscovering the teen wolf sandbox in my mind, revisiting my fav lil blorbos and rewatching a season or two, only to open tumblr or ao3 and get smacked in the face with what feels like death by a thousand cuts every. single. time. I want no part in the strange Scott-hating AU that seems to have swallowed the majority of the fandom even after all this time.

but you know what, screw it. This is the time I’m going to be a teen wolf fan, and just because I’m not like what seems like the majority of teen wolf fans doesn’t mean I have any less right to exist in the fandom space. I’m just going to blacklist the shit out of the anti-Scott tags, and write what I want to see in the world. I’m going to write so much Scott and Liam and Allison and Kira content and Scallison content and McCall pack feels and I don’t care if no one reads it. I’m ignoring that bizarro world fanon just as much as so many have ignored Scott, and I’m going to do what I want. I’ve had it with only being in the Scott McCall Defense Squad, I’m going to be part of the Scott McCall Is A Fav Blorbo of Mine Squad and no one can stop me!

I really love the idea of elementals and energetics having a glint of the color their power is.

Ex: fire elemental: glint of red

Ex: air elemental: white

Nothing that would break covert or anything like that, but if you look into their eyes long and deep enough, you see a glint of that color :))

And for more commen colors like:

Earth elemental: green

Water elemental: blue

I like to think the color can be really intense while still being discreet

Complaining abt Suicide Squad yet again but the fact that they have Waller exposing the alien community to space racist attacks and talking abt how she got to her position through deceit and being a terrible person and stuff is just. Ahsfiwueh JUST SAY YOU DONT KNOW WALLER.

Anyways literally the 3rd mission of the Squad ever (and the first framed as smth Waller picked and not orders from above) was the Squad discrediting and stopping a rogue vigilante who was only arresting POC and funneling white people into white supremacy groups (of which he was the most prominent member) in SUICIDE SQUAD #4. and it's explicitly framed as this mission being personal for Waller that she's hiding from the government bc its illegal like. Guys. Please why are we having her incite (space bc comics) racist attacks now

Also the whole "Amanda got her position through deceit and being a terrible person" NO. she KEPT her position through being shitty and playing complicated political games!!! She wasn't always that way like there is a difference and it is IMPORTANT ppl PLEASEEEE. In Secret Origins #14 we learn Amanda's backstory and she used to be a normal, caring person! Like even after she entered into working in government and politics she wasn't automatically morally bankrupt like please people. She was originally given control of the Squad by Reagan (*sigh* 80s comics...) to distract and get rid of her because she was so successful at pushing progressive social policy in Congress. Acting like she's this static pillar of evil is such a waste of her character and so fucking uninteresting and disrespectful to her arc it drives me MAD.

Like I am NOT saying Waller is all sunshine and rainbows, she fucking SUCKS (said w love <3) but like there's a human being there. It's a progression, she has a character arc like please, DC, please!!! They've fucked up Waller so bad and made her so opaque and uninteresting she can't even be the protagonist of her own story for fucks sake!

Like I don't know how many times I have to scream it until DC hears me or remembers but WALLER IS THE MAIN CHARACTER OF SUICIDE SQUAD. ITS HER BOOK. yet right now she's a cutout to be used as the villain wherever the writers please. Even in her book we get none of her perspective really displayed, no exploration of her thoughts with any kind of understanding of the role she traditionally has played and was made to play in the story.

Ella: No, you're right. Again. I guess I've been afraid to commit to ending it or just putting it off hoping he'd get the hint. But I'm about to start a new chapter. Time to let stuff that's not good for me go.

Eric: Makes sense to me. And I'm hope I'm not on that list of things to go.

Ella laughs: Of course you're not! Look at you out here ruining your night and your date consoling me.
