Had the pleasure of meeting @commander-wame 's Eldrid today in person, on which occasion we participated in the most enriching activity of beating up old drunken men in the Korakatt lodge.

A party was held to celebrate Peter's birthday, but it also served a strategic purpose. The woodcutters were a necessary staple of the community, Veonia relied on the Everilles to be a strong family. Showcasing a returned Thorley, a growing brood of well rounded children, and presenting a very well stocked store front were just a few of the benefits.

Many of the village's citizens were content enough to just be fed Della's delicious cooking.

For @havenroyals 's SEASON 2 Too Hot TO Handle Challenge: May I introduce Eldrid Hernando?

Born to a long line of solar-resistant vampires, this sulani native is an up and coming painter whose hotboy summer is all-year-long. You wouldn't catch him dead at Forgotton Hollow up until a year ago, when he bought a property right next to the vatore siblings and bulldozed the whole lot to build from scratch. Simply put, he's taken the dreary town as his canvas and plans to add a splash of color that's been missing for far too long. But that's got nothing to do with why he's doing this contest.

Eldrid's goal here is simple: find a mate (or mates) to grow his Vampire Empire with. You need to be fine in the body AND mind. There is no discrimination here. Anybody can get it (yes, even the right werewolf).

“Apologies, I’m not too familiar with Ms. Oshiro either. Well, not personally. Her relationship with Mr. Busujima was something I had nearly forgotten about until her name appeared here in the Taito division list. Names are something I've taken the care of remembering, despite the change in my servitude. Ah, but it’s nothing for Ms. Oshiro to concern herself about. I am no longer working with the Japanese government with the lady of the family long gone. So I should not pose a threat to her or her partner. Still, I wonder what sort of troubles Ms. Oshiro has had dating what is essentially a wanted man... If you are listening Ms. Oshiro, J'aimerais te connaître davantage. Tu es si intéressante.”

“MMA is… Something I’m somewhat familiar with. I can’t say I’m too interested in the sport like Mrs. Iwasaki is. I believe I have stated somewhere before that boxing is my preference for combat. Using my arms is something I take quite a bit of pride in. Though, I suppose I could work a little more on my legs. As shameful as it is to say, but I have been lacking in my exercise as of late. This D.R.B. stuff has been a handful… I wonder if Mrs. Iwasaki has experienced the same issue juggling her career, the competition, and her spouse.”

The night ends with a simple meal gathered around the table. Mary Everille and Bjorn Westergaard spoke fondly of their grandchildren and how quickly they were growing up. Eldrid piped up, expressing her excitement on her son beginning the search for a wife. She couldn't wait to hear the pitter patter of little feet again. Bjorn's son, Hakon had joined the elders and sat near the end of the table, smiling at his father's chatter.

Hakon mentioned how sweet treats always seemed to follow children. Mary then offered how ale and spirits always seemed to follow their tired parents. The table erupted with laughter, and the banter continued late into the evening.
