oliver queen and eddie fyers have the funniest relationship of all time. eddie’s whole purpose as a character is ‘show up to ruin ollie’s day<3.’ he stabs ollie in the back REPEATEDLY. he calls to ask ollie’s help with some shady mission every so often and ollie goes ‘GRRRRR WHAT makes you THINK i would EVER HELP YOUUUU’ and then literally always helps him anyway. eddie lies and sets up him every damn time. when he was badly hurt and on the run the first place he went to for help was ollie and dinah. they will go from actively trying to kill each other to fist bumping and making dad jokes two seconds later. there is a running joke that ollie consistently shoots eddie in the chest because he knows eddie always wears a vest. they’re best frenemies. i literally can’t count the number of times eddie framed ollie for heinous crimes and forced him to go on the run from the government

Crackin film idea
So the new Superman movie is coming out next year - I think it looks wonderful and I'm so excited for it, along with the more Star Wars type of timeline for the new DCU, allowing for stories to be told in completely different times released in the same year.
I have a suggestion for a movie they should do (movie because my boy deserves the big screen)
A Green Arrow movie, with Connor Hawke as Green Arrow.
There are a couple things to consider here, and luckily I have considered them.
When will it be set?
The film will be set jut after Oliver Queen, the original Green Arrow and Connor's father, dies. The film can begin with how Connor's original comic run began, with the plane explosion killing Oliver Queen. The first few minutes are the terrorist fight and the deadman's bomb scene, all filmed as if Ollie is the main character, but just as the plane explodes, the footage gains news stuff around it and zooms out to be revealed as on a tv in a tv showroom as current news, with Connor standing in front of it in a jacket with a bag.
He silhouettes against the screens for a couple seconds, before turning and walking out of shot, when it then cuts to the Green Arrow title card.
The actual film will take place a month later.
What will the plot be?
The main theme of the film will be identity. Let's be real, Connor is basically the equivalent of the diversity play in the arrow fam, and as a result, has a lot of boxes that he checks. He's African American, Korean, Caucasian, Buddhist, Vegetarian, Asexual, and probably a couple more if I thought about it for longer. As a result, he experiences the feeling of not fitting in truly to any of these boxes except maybe vegetarian and asexual. In the film, he'll be 18: Young and inexperienced in the world. He'll be on the outs with his mother due to her toxic marriage with Milo Armitage, with him being angry about her continuing to give him more chances despite his constant failure.
So, at the heart of the film, it will be Connor trying to figure out who he is, and how all these parts of him slot together, while feeling isolated. He'll be trying to reconnect with his culture via travelling to Korea and maybe talking with his grandfather, he'll be trying to figure out why he's so wrong that he feels uncomfortable at the thought of having sex with all these people who keep on propositioning him, and most of all, he'll be trying to figure out how to fill the enormous shoes of his father, a man who he's had minimal interactions with.
As for villain and that, I really love the Hate Crimes Storyline with Nicholas Kotero and the political manipulation into hating each other throughout New York, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, so if we have that as the main villain storyline that builds slowly in the background the whole time as Connor travels, before realizing what is happening and rushing back to stop it, I think that would be really good and also make for some good political commentary.
Throughout the film, we'll have him fighting local mafia and that such street crime, with the whole thing coming together as a interconnected web as something all orchestrated by Kotero to create hate and chaos throughout the world.
Maybe the Korea and Japan story, where the Korean mafia want to nuclear bomb Japan to force them into a war to bring their country back to its former glory, but reversed potentially, so the story happens in Korea instead of Japan.
On top of all this interconnectedness, it will also tie back to Milo with his international arms dealing providing ammunition for this so called 'race war'.
It would also create a better finale than just punching and fighting to have it be Connor having to talk down a city of frenzied rioters.
Who would be in it?
Connor Hawke - duh. They would need some very careful casting to make sure the actor is African American/Korean/Caucasian. I think they should bleach his hair blonde because it's an iconic part of his character and I find it funny that Oliver's recessive blonde hair is what carries through.
Oliver Queen - In the beginning and in flashbacks throughout the film, with him at some point telling Connor the story of the 'loveboat killer' Nicholas Kotero which is why Connor can figure out whose behind it all.
Sandra Moonday Hawke - Icon. We need her both in flashbacks and in current scenes. Get my boy his mother.
Milo Armitage - Evil stepfather must be in it.
Nicholas Kotero - Evil insane villain must also be in it.
Eddie Fyers - Easy way to tie to mafia and explain that also I think he's amazing and a great supervisor to Connor because he does no supervising and actually is the one in need of supervising.
Kyle Rayner - For New York. He's in the original story, have him be a character in it, maybe an acquaintance of Connor's from the month between opening scene and main plot.
Jet - I don't know her last name, but the biker gang girl from Japan that he meets. Get her in Korea some how, maybe make her Korean or maybe make her have previosuly been in the mafia or smth, but have her there. She'll hit on him and help him.
I choose not to have arrowfam in this, because he doesn't really know them. He's raised away from his father and his life, he maybe knows Dinah in passing but that's about it.
Anyway in conclusion they should stop having all these films have white basic male protagonists and give Connor Hawke some love and a crackin film about what it means to be the diversity play.
Also I love him so much.

Master Jansen, about Dinah: So what is it that can get a woman like her so furious? Eddie: It's not a what, it's a who. In her defense, he could make any member of the Justice League throw a full-scale hissy-fit. Master Jansen: You must be talking about Mr. Queen.

Literally the best dynamic is Connor “I’m doing it whether you’re with me or not” Hawke and Eddie “Be my Guest: I’m not helping” Fyers before it cuts to them doing whatever Connor was planning to do with Eddie, cross armed, sitting right next to him, incredibly disgruntled. Literally Peak. It gets me every time with an inordinate amount of joy
