Louis Tomlinson has revealed he was left gutted after failing to secure tickets for the upcoming Oasis reunion tour next year but is praying luck will be on his side
Louis Tomlinson was amongst the millions of disappointed Oasis fans
By Daniel Bird, Assistant Showbiz Editor | 16:46, 1 Sep 2024
Louis Tomlinson shared his heartache after being caught up in the Oasis reunion ticket drama.
The iconic Manchester band, fronted by warring brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher last week confirmed they would be reuniting almost 15 years after Noel walked out. Confirming their reunion, the band announced a 17 date tour across the United Kingdom and Ireland, playing venues such as Manchester's Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park.
But while fans were ecstatic over the news, millions were left devastated when they logged into sites such as Ticketmaster and See Tickets to try and get their hands on tickets. Fans were faced with a string of technical errors, including queues to get into the official queue, sites going down due to unprecedented demand and 'Dynamic Pricing' tickets.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/ca400e59e78632b938e67fdb6f494e8d/82954fc973b6bee2-c3/s540x810/1168679963ad0fe4197157577c9c5c6e033c4885.jpg)
Ticketmaster came under fire from Oasis fans when it emerged that standing tickets, priced at €86.50 for Dublin and £148 for the UK had rocketed to an eyewatering £356. One fan caught up in the drama was none other than Out Of My System hitmaker Louis Tomlinson, 32.
While attending the Monza Grand Prix, Louis was questioned by Sky Sports' broadcaster Martin Brundle about whether he had secured tickets. “I didn't! I was in the queue, but I never got a number," he commented. Doncaster-born Tomlinson went on to add: "To be honest, I got caught up with qualifying yesterday but I did try."
Martin stated that Oasis themselves might send Louis tickets for an upcoming concert, with the musician responding: "I've got my fingers crossed!" When asked about the atmosphere on the grid, Louis said: "It's an honour to be here with Ferrari at Monza, just an incredible experience."
Cheeky-chap Tomlinson was on site when Ferrari's Charles Leclerc bagged the top prize at the Italian Grand Prix, with the pair beaming from ear-to-ear as they posed with one another. Louis' appearance at the Grand Prix comes just days after he performed at his first UK festival as a solo artist.
Despite finding fame as one-fifth of One Direction in 2010 and achieving global success in his own rights, Louis attracted "one of the biggest crowds of the day with his first UK festival performance," said bosses of Victorious Festival. While has has two solo albums of his own, including a Number One record, Tomlinson performed a string of One Direction songs including fan favourite, Where Do Broken Hearts Go, as well as a collection of his own tracks such as Bigger Than Me and Kill My Mind.
BBC News reported that 80,000 fans flocked to the event to support Tomlinson. Addressing the huge crowd, Louis said: "Victorious Festival, how are you doing? This is my incredible band, I'm Louis Tomlinson. This is my first festival in the UK, so thank you for coming out. Thank you for having me. We're gonna have a good time."

The fact that the Arctic Monkeys have decided to end their The Car world tour in Ireland in Dublin and Belfast with special guest Miles Kane makes me too happy. It will certainly be a special appointment for those who have not yet seen them live and who in June had lost hope of not being able to see them due to the cancellation of the date due to Alex's laryngitis. Who knows, maybe it will be an opportunity to see TLSP on stage together again after years and sing some of their songs?👀 Anyway, it's going to be a grand finale and I can't wait❤

Storia Di Musica #342 - The Corrs, Home, 2005

Joker Out Subs - Queue and A / 6.12.2023 Amsterdam
Hello and welcome to a very special episode of the JokerOutSubs podcast. On the 6th December I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to see Joker Out perform in Amsterdam, and while there, myself and another member of JokerOutSubs decided to interview fans in the queue outside the venue. The following is a compilation of some of our favourite responses, as well as a short interview with Mark Pirc, who works with Joker Out in creative and visual direction.
We hope you enjoy this episode of 'Queue and A'.
So, have you been to a Joker Out gig before or is this your first one?
Baby Boo: It's my first one. Baby Boo: I've been there yesterday, in Den Haag. Grace/JOS: Oh, how was it? Baby Boo: It was amazing! Grace/JOS: Are you looking forward to repeating it again tonight? Baby Boo: Yeah! Grace/JOS: And did you get here ok? Because I know the boys had a little bit of a tough time! Baby Boo: Oh well, um, my one and a half hour trip took me three hours, so… (all laugh) Grace/JOS: So you're glad to be here now! Baby Boo: Last night, and it was my first one. Grace/JOS: Oh you went to Den Haag! And how was it? Baby Boo: Ahh, I'm still emotionally and psychologically recovering! (All laugh). Grace/JOS: What, from the gig or from the journey here? Baby Boo: No, the gig, because you look forward to it for months and months and months, and then you have all these hopes but you don't think they'll happen, and then everything good happens. Grace/JOS: Oh, amazing! Baby Boo: And you know, I got a pick from Jan Grace/JOS: (gasps) Baby Boo: So I've already won. (All laugh) Grace/JOS: Maybe you get another one tonight, who knows? Baby Boo: Maybe! I'm going for Nace (laughter) but I already promised, if I got a Nace pic that I would give it to ---- here because she… Baby Boo: I'm a Nace girlie Grace/JOS: Nace girlie, yep! So, as I say, have you been to a gig before? Baby Boo: I've been. I also went yesterday, but I also went to Tavastia in Finland. Grace/JOS: OHHHH NO WAY?! You witnessed it, in all it's glory! Baby Boo: Yes, I went to the second one. I saw it being announced and I was like, you know what? Travelling to Finland it is! (Laughter). So I went, and I had the pleasure to see Kaarija also! (Laughter) I was at the second gig, so it was amazing. Grace/JOS: Oh incredible! Baby Boo: This is my twelfth gig. Grace/JOS: TWELFTH? Oh my God, which other ones have you been to? Baby Boo: Er, so I count the Eurovision pre-party in London, and then I did night two pre-show, live show night two, er…grand final (laughter), did both nights in Dublin, did the whole UK tour and then we saw them in Oslo as well. Grace/JOS: Oh my God, so committed! What about you? Baby Boo: I have a few less, I did both nights in Dublin and then in Oslo, and now I'm here! Baby Boo: Manchester and Glasgow, and Glasgow was the best one so far. I also went to Stockholm and Wroclaw Grace/JOS: Oh, amazing! Baby Boo: (continues) Den Haag yesterday…I can't even keep up, I've been to that many now! (All laugh). I'm losing count, and then I have the UK tour booked next year. Grace/JOS: Ohhh, I'll see you there! Baby Boo: Yes to two, as of yesterday. The first was in Vienna, the Halloween gig and the second one was yesterday. Grace/JOS: So you saw the pilot costumes? Baby Boo: I did! (All laugh) Grace/JOS: And how was that? Baby Boo: Oh that was an experience for sure! (Laughter) I'll just say, my sister was so jealous, but I sent her loads of videos so that was fine, but oh my God, it was an experience. Grace/JOS: Amazing, I'm very jealous.

So is there anything particularly that you're looking forward to seeing tonight, any particular songs you want to hear?
Baby Boo: Er, I'm really hoping because I've seen that they played it last night, the full setlist. Grace/JOS: Ohh, yeah yeah yeah, fingers crossed. Baby Boo: Proti Toku, because we missed out in Oslo (laughter), I'm so upset! Grace/JOS: We all want Proti Toku! Baby Boo: Omamljeno Telo, thats my bitch! Grace/JOS: YAAAAAAAS! (Laughter) Baby Boo: Yeah, I would love to hear the NGVOT, and especially Kris talking Dutch hopefully! Grace/JOS: Kris girlie, then? Baby Boo: Yeah definitely! (All laugh)
So, Bojan occassionally says both 'welcome' and 'Umazane misli' in different languages, so how would you say those phrases in your languages?
Baby Boo: So, welcome is obviously 'Willkommen', and the other one is 'schmutzige Gedanken'. (All laugh) Grace/JOS: That sounds sexy. Schmutzige Gedanken! Baby Boo: Yeah, they said that in Vienna as well. Grace/JOS: Oh did they? Yeah! Baby Boo: But really really well too, like without an accent, as if they were natives. Grace/JOS: Oh incredible! That's really nice! Grace/JOS: Now, see, you're from England so welcome is 'welcome'. Umazane misli, do you know the translation? Baby Boo: Sometimes they say 'dirty thoughts'… Grace/JOS: There you go! Baby Boo: But if they're trying to be posh, they say indecent no-…in-…indecent notions? (All laugh) Grace/JOS: I love that, 'if they're trying to be posh' Baby Boo: I can't even say it, because I can't try and be posh. (All laugh) Grace/JOS: And…welcome and Umazane misli? Baby Boo: Uh, welcome is 'witajcie', and Umazane misli, we can actually say 'umazane myśli' Grace/JOS: Oh, so really close then! Baby Boo: Yeah! But at the show, they said, I think, 'brudne myśli' Grace/JOS: So, did you say Iceland? Baby Boo: Icelandic would just be 'Velkominn'. Grace/JOS: Ok, and what about Umazane misli, or 'dirty thoughts'? Baby Boo: I don't know, that isn't in my… Grace/JOS: That's not in your vocabulary! (Laughs) Baby Boo: No! That's not in the family chat language (All laugh) that I know of my Icelandic that's still there, is not 'dirty thoughts' Grace/JOS: How do you say those two phrases in Dutch? Baby Boo: So, welcome would be 'Welkom' and… Grace/JOS: Thats nice and easy Baby Boo: Yeah, nice and easy! I think 'dirty thoughts', I would personally say it's difficult to translate but..I would say… (laughter) Grace/JOS: The blushing has begun… Baby Boo: Yes…um…'geile gedachten' (giggles) Baby Boo: Welcome in Welsh is 'croeso', and then, um- ugh, I'm not even going to pronounce it in Slovenian, I'm really sorry (all laugh) is 'meddyliau budr', something like that. Grace/JOS: We'll go with that, yeah! And what about Irish? Baby Boo: Ok so, for welcome you can say 'fáilte' or 'fáilte míle', that just means a thousand welcomes because we like to exaggerate shit (all laugh). And then for Umazane misli you say, 'smaointe salach'. Grace/JOS: Sm- smointe? Baby Boo: Smaointe salach Grace/JOS: Salach. Baby Boo: Yep!
So speaking of languages, most of Joker Out's songs to date are in Slovenian. How do you feel about that? Is that a plus for you or is it a minus?
Baby Boo: Yeah, I really love getting to experience music in other languages, and I love when the music just like, can, um, translate emotions, without having to understand every word of it. Grace/JOS: Thats such a cute answer, I love that! Baby Boo: Err, for me it's really nice to have, like, different language, because I enjoy learning new languages so it helps with learning new words as well Grace/JOS: Have you learned any Slovenian? Baby Boo: Well I'm still trying because there's not really…well, for me it's not really easy to get access to how to learn, so I'm still looking into that. Grace/JOS: Have you got the Memrize app yet? Baby Boo: No, I haven't Grace/JOS: There you go, so there's a reccommendation for all our listeners, the Memrize app has Slovenian on it. Baby Boo: Well, I don't really care, because I like music from every country. If I just like the vibe of the music it's OK for me, um, so, I listened to a lot of music before I knew how to speak English, and then I liked a lot of stuff too, so, it's pretty much the same for me. Grace/JOS: I love that answer, yeah, that's such a good point as well. Baby Boo: I really like that it's in a different language, because they're so much more expressive, because if you, like, choose New Wave and Novi Val, it just packs so much more of a punch. All: Yeah… Baby Boo: So I like it in their own language more. Baby Boo: I do want to say though, I'm not against them doing English the way some people are. Baby Boo: no, no, no! Grace/JOS: Sure! Baby Boo: Because I think they should do what they want to do, and not every song has to be this intense, poetic masterpiece, sometimes they can be fun and that's fine. Baby Boo: Um, for me, it feels quite freeing to listen to songs that aren't in your language, because you don't have to think about what it's about, or like, I dont know…there's some of their songs that sound really happy, like, um…ne… Grace/JOS: Ne govoriva več o tem? Baby Boo: Yeah that one! Um, it sounds happy but it's not, but if I want to listen to it and think that it's happy then I can. If I want to listen to it and think oh, this was like, a sad time for Kris, then I can also do that. I just think… Grace/JOS: So it's music for every mood! Baby Boo: Yeah! I just think music…you don't need to listen to music in your own language to like the music.
And, do you have a favourite meme or inside joke that's related to Joker Out?
Baby Boo: Oh no! Grace/JOS: Oh dear, what? (Laughs) Baby Boo: Soon! Grace/JOS: SOON! (All laugh) None of us ever want to hear that again, ok? Baby Boo: Honestly, the ones in the last couple days, if they hadn't been for a gig I was going to about them not getting there, they would have been funny to me, because all the just, the faces on random objects… Grace/JOS: Ohh, the ones they've been sharing on their stories, yeah yeah yeah! Baby Boo: I enjoy that, yeah. Grace/JOS: Yep, any from you? Baby Boo: Honestly it's still Kaarija related, I'm sorry (laughter) but it is the 'are you?' All: ARE YOU?! (Laughter) Baby Boo: I gave Bojan yesterday a bracelet that said 'are you?' in Slovenian Grace/JOS: Oh, amazing! And how is that said in Slovenian? Baby Boo: I didn't throw it, because I'm not a jerk who throws things at people (laughter), it's just 'si ti?' Grace/JOS: Oh yeah, of course, yeah, absolutely. Baby Boo: Favourite meme, favourite inside joke right? Turtle… Grace/JOS: TURTLEEE (laughter). Do you know what, we've had a couple of people say that today, that's a popular one! Baby Boo: Yeah, because like, what, like Nace just stops the interview for like a minute or two (laughter) just to like, passionately talk about turtles. Its like, that was like the moment that I was like, oh my God Nace. Grace/JOS: So do you have a favourite meme or inside joke that's related to the Joker Out fanbase? Something just popped into your head, I can see it in your eyes. Baby Boo: How fat Kris' arse is. (All laugh) No, I'm being deadly serious. It was the first thing I noticed when I was watching the Carpe Diem music video, I was like, he's got a really nice bum. That was the first thing I noticed, so, I love how it's ongoing. Grace/JOS: That is my favourite answer of the day so far! Go on then, what about you? Baby Boo: I've just been repeatedly saying 'slay pose!' Grace/JOS: Slay pose! Yes, love it!
So, can you describe your favourite member of Joker Out without saying their name or the instrument that they play?
Grace/JOS: You were born ready for this question! Baby Boo: Dresses in the colours of a badger, of the forest. (All laugh). Grace/JOS: Hunting colours! Baby Boo: Is feline! Is somewhere else even though he's onstage, he's not actually there. Grace/JOS: I love it. We all know who you're talking about. Baby Boo: We all know. Baby Boo: Um…ohh! It's a puppy in the form of…more of a lion. (All laugh) Grace/JOS: What?! Baby Boo: He's pretty intense but gorgeous. Grace/JOS: Ok… Baby Boo: Um…he's adorable definitely, and he has some very good vibes with another one of the band. (All laugh) Grace/JOS: Ok, ok! Baby Boo: And lots of tattoos. Grace/JOS: And lots of tattoos, alright, yep, ok. Baby Boo: Well, I have one but it's only related to the show yesterday. Grace/JOS: Oh, go on! Baby Boo: Sinterklaas! Grace/JOS: Sinterklaas, ok! (Laughs) Yeah, I think we can guess who that's about! Baby Boo: Big beautiful brown eyes, whatever you say handsome! Grace/JOS: (Laughs) Yeah! Baby Boo: My ones more like, smash (All laugh) but if I had to actually describe him, um, what was that thing they call him? A troubadour. Grace/JOS: A troubadour, oh yes OK, I think we all know who that is. Grace/JOS: A sunflower? Wait, hold on. Baby Boo: Like, he- he is a sunflower. If a sunflower was a person, it's him. Grace/JOS: Thats really sweet, what a nice way to describe someone! Baby Boo: I watched an interview the other day, back from the Eurovision days, where the interviewer showed them flags, right? And they had to sing the song that that country had sent that year, and my favourite member actually defended my flag, the Austrian flag. Because he was saying 'thats not the Austrian flag!' Grace/JOS: Oh yeah! That's not what it looks like! Baby Boo: The others were like yeah, it is, and he was like, no no no, it has a…it has a…now I don't know the word, it has a bird in the middle. (Laughter) That's my favourite member. Grace/JOS: That's such a nice one! Baby Boo: Can I add to that? So that same guy, I know exactly who you're talking about (laughter), I did a Manchester flag. It was an England flag and I'd written Manchester on it, everybody signed it in the queue. After the show he was like oh yeah, I seen your flag, I thought it was the Georgian flag, but he said to me 'did you come from Georgia?' And I said 'no' (all laugh) I drove two hours to come, and he was like 'oh! Is it not the Georgia flag?' and I said 'no, it's the England flag'. Then he said, 'oh, the Manchester flag!' (all laugh) and I said 'no, the England flag!' and then he looked at me, really puzzled, and he went; 'I didn't know England had a flag.' (All laugh)
And, could you tell us any positive stories or experiences that have come into your life due to being a part of this fan community?
Baby Boo: Well, I've made a lot of friends in this community. Yeah, you can see over there, none of those people I've met before (laughter) but for today they are my best friends now. Grace/JOS: Queue friends are the best kind of friends for sure. Baby Boo: Yeah, I think they help a lot with panic attacks and all that kind of stuff in your life, and new friends and all that kind of stuff. And my English is getting better. Grace/JOS: Oh amazing! Oh that's incredible! Baby Boo: Well, the show yesterday was really fun, I had a great time, um, I've been to many shows but the crowd was really nice here, and normally it's just everyone wanting to push in and here everyone was just chill, helping eachother, so it was a really great experience. Grace/JOS: Oh that's amazing! Baby Boo: I was planning on going to The Hague concert by myself, um, and then a message came from a girl on the page like, hey, does people want to go together? And then a group was formed, and this group is like, my closest friends right now, so I really love them. Grace/JOS: That's so nice! Baby Boo: She's one of them. Baby Boo: I met her in the group chat. Grace/JOS: I was gonna say, so group chat again for you? Baby Boo: Yep. Baby Boo: We met! We met first gig in Dublin, and then the next thing I know they announced the Nordic tour. We did try for Helsinki but obviously that was not going to happpen. Grace/JOS: Bloodbath. Baby Boo: Yeah! And then I was like, I bought these Oslo tickets, we're going to go see my best mate there, and she was like 'cool', and then here we are, and we've booked four more dates for the next tour as well. Grace/JOS: Oh, incredible! So the real Joker Out is the friendships you made along the way. (Laughter)

Chapter Six (Part 3)
The day rolls on, and by afternoon my head is spinning. It feels like I’ve been everywhere in Dublin and I’ve seen everything too, we’ve had ice cream from the best ice cream shop in the city, we’ve been through the science gallery and played around with the optical illusions, we’ve gone into all the fancy little shops that we don’t have out in the country, and by the time we finally stop in the park to watch the ducks my feet are throbbing from all the walking and my tummy is sore from laughing.
They reminisce about something that happened to them on their school tour one year as we lounge on the mown grass, and I think, after spending hours with them now, that they might be two of the most entertaining people I’ve ever met. They never seem to second guess what they’re saying or think too hard about it, and they’ve got a really good way of bringing a joke back around again and again, making it somehow funnier each time. They genuinely want to know about me too, and I tell them all about school and the things I like to do for fun. I don’t think that I’ve ever felt as important or as comfortable as I do when I talk to them. I feel as though I could say anything at all and they wouldn’t even bat an eyelid.
We’re all laughing after I tell them an embarrassing story about a time I was in the changing room of a clothes shop and accidentally tried on someone else’s top that they already owned, and I have to pause for a second to take it in. “I’ve honestly never told anyone that before” I confess.
“What?” Jen shrieks “Why not? That is hilarious.”
“Because it’s too embarrassing! People would think I was weird for doing that.”
“Nah, people would think that you’re really funny, and that’s an awkward but normal human thing to do.” Jude says.
“Babe, I hate that you have to think like that about yourself. You’re really great.” Jen smiles at me, and I wonder what Kelly meant when she said that she was awful. I like her a lot. “Honestly, we wouldn’t be hanging out if you weren’t. We’re very picky.” She winks at Jude and he grins. Something inside me does a little flip and suddenly it’s hard to look at him, it’s like I’m looking into the sun. I’m not really sure what this feeling I keep getting around him is or if I like the way that it feels, but I know that I’ve never felt anything like it before.
Before we go home that evening, Jen announces that she has to go to the bathroom, and I catch a mischievous glint in Jude’s eye, one that I’ve come to recognise during the day and I wonder what big idea he has.
“You should have a posh wee.” He says conspiratorially. “We should all go.”
“What’s a posh wee?” I giggle, and he points to a hotel across the road from us, and I know it’s the Shelbourne, the most expensive luxury hotel in town.
Jen takes my hand and I am swept across the road to it. It’s felt like this all day, like I’m just getting swept along without ever knowing what’s about to happen. I end up just surrendering to it and seeing what happens next. “Have you ever seen their toilets?” She asks me. “They’re the fanciest toilets you’ll ever lay eyes on.”
“Do you two do this all the time or something?!”
We run up the steps and through the doors of the hotel and I am in awe of it. The tile floors gleam, reflecting the light of the grand chandeliers that are suspended from the ceiling, and there are marble pillars lining the hall and huge round bouquets of white flowers arranged beautifully on ornate wooden tables. I would have never dared to come in here unless I was a paying guest, but Jude breezes right past the doorman without hesitation and we follow him. I heard before that if you have enough confidence you will get away with anything, and now I’ve seen that it’s true.
And the toilets are fancy. The floors and the mirrors gleam like they’ve just been polished, and the hand towels are those thick, soft paper ones that you feel bad about throwing into the bin after you’re done with them. There are even little bottles of hand cream and perfume by the sink. I spray some on my wrist and sniff it, imagining that I’m a grown up woman with a lot of money who could afford to stay in a hotel like this one. When I catch sight of myself in the mirror I think to myself that I look different than before, it’s something in my eyes that I can’t pin down, it’s like they look bigger and more alive. My cheeks are pink and bits of my hair are flying around out of place, but I can almost see something sparkle within me, and for the first time ever I allow a tiny little thought to come to the front of my mind: Do I look… pretty?
“I found something.” Jude says when Jen and I come out of the bathroom.
“Oh God.” She complains, but we follow him across the hall and up a huge curved staircase anyway. Now I really feel like a fugitive, and I keep looking over my shoulder to check if somebody is going to kick us out, but the place is totally empty, and nobody seems to be coming.
The sound of music floats down the stairs and I have a feeling that it has something to do with where we’re headed. We dash across the soft carpeted landing and Jude stops us outside a pair of huge double doors where the music is emanating from. He leans into one of them and slowly pushes it open, letting yellow light spill out onto the carpet.
“Wha-” I begin, but he stops me. “Don’t ask, just come in.” And we do.
“Jude…” Jen says when we shut the door behind us and we realise what we’re looking at. “This is someone’s wedding party.”
“Don’t worry about it.” He walks straight over to a table of champagne and takes a glass in each hand. “I can’t drink and drive today, so these are for you two.”
“You have some audacity.” Jen hisses, but I can tell that she thinks this is kind of funny too. “We’re sticking out like sore thumbs, everyone will know we’re not part of this bloody wedding!”
“Let’s see how long it takes them to notice then.”
Jen rolls her eyes and clinks her champagne flute against mine. “I guess we’re in it now.” She shrugs as if to say what can you do? We both take a drink, and I think that this champagne might be the nicest alcoholic drink I’ve ever tasted, and probably ever will taste for the rest of my life. I bet it’s hundreds of euros for a bottle of this stuff.
The band starts to play an Elvis song, and the next thing I know I am being pulled onto the dancefloor and the three of us are laughing and dancing together, looking so out of place in our runners and shorts in the middle of a formal crowd, but surprisingly I don’t care how it looks. I am having so much fun today that I think I might burst from happiness.
Jude takes my hands and twirls me around, singing the lyrics to the song in a silly Elvis voice. He keeps crashing and bumping me into people near us and they are turning around to stare at us angrily which somehow makes this all so much funnier.
Your kisses lift me higher, like a sweet song of a choir, you light my morning sky… He holds me in the ballroom dancing style with one hand on my waist, and then I have another one of those electric moments. When we’re close like this for the first time I can really look into his eyes, and watch the way their warm golden brown colour, flecked with amber catches all the lights in the room. His skin, which was beautiful from afar, is just as perfect up close, and he has a little sprinkling of freckles on his nose that make me want to reach out and touch him. I imagine he really means the lyrics that he’s singing along to, and catch myself wondering what it might be like if I were to let him kiss me.
And just like that he’s gone. He’s let go of me and now he’s dancing with Jen, not even realising the disturbance he’s caused within me, and I have to stand there and find my bearings again, feeling a strange absence and longing in the parts of my waist and my wrists and all of the other places where his hands had touched me moments ago. Oh Shit. I think.

Cochise announces headlining WHY ALWAYS ME? World Tour kicking off in February
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/850fa3a7c25f30c74446000a9b646513/942bb5099d2b9e5a-65/s540x810/6e12ff11b0511c83f4865fb01f78313ec0a39712.jpg)
Fresh off the release of his fourth studio album WHY ALWAYS ME?, Florida rap star Cochise has just announced his forthcoming headlining World Tour – kicking off in February, 2025. Presale tickets will be on sale starting at 12:00pm EST on 11/20 (PW: WHYALWAYSME), while general on sale tickets go live starting at 10:00am Local Time on 11/22 (ticket link here). Taking Houston rapper TisaKorean on the road with him as an opener, Cochise will be embarking throughout North America during the tour's first leg, ending in his home-state of Florida on 3/30, before linking up with buzzing UK rapper Len for the majority of the European leg – concluding in Poland on 5/6. The recently-released WHY ALWAYS ME? arrived in October backed by a string of singles that included "GOOGLE ME", “YOSHIMITSU” (40M+ Streams), and the Aminé-assisted "NASTY". Boasting other features from Veeze and Anycia, WHY ALWAYS ME? served as a championship album celebrating a new era for Cochise — marking his first LP since 2022's THE INSPECTION and his appearance on the 2022 XXL Freshman cover. With production from BYNX (Drake, Travis Scott), Supah Mario (Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert), CHASETHEMONEY (J. Cole, Juice WRLD), and Lex Luger (Kanye West, Chief Keef), WHY ALWAYS ME? is a nebula of intergalactic opulence, melting into Cochise's hypnotizing vocals and sky-diving delivery.
Hailing from Palm Bay, Florida, Cochise is known for a kaleidoscopic sound that blends elements of Jamaican dancehall, hip-hop, and trap with animated lyricism punctuated by deep-cut references to anime, sports, and pop culture. Hailed for his high-flying vocal acrobatics and hazy, ethereal production, he exploded onto the scene with his 2021 major label debut Benbow Crescent, which featured the RIAA Certified Gold hit track “Hatchback” (400M Streams). Cochise has since sold out a solo headlining world tour and collaborated with the likes of Lil Yachty, Chief Keef, Denzel Curry, Juicy J, Teezo Touchdown, Lil B, and more.

Drawn & Quartered [Chapter 3]
Caitlin woke up hungover in the bed in Nina's spare room beside Matthias, neither of them clothed. Two discarded condoms lay on the floor beside her hand that hung off the edge of the bed.
She's love to say she didn't remember the night before. She'd love to say she didn't mean for what happened to happen. But she remembered and she meant it. She didn't plan to tell Ville, but she hoped somehow through telepathy he somehow knew and she hoped it hurt.
Another day had passed being broken up with Ville, and she didn't feel any closer to solace, in fact, she felt angrier. Matthias was a spite fuck, she knew it. But he wasn't bad company, he wasn't boring or hard to talk to, so all things considered, it wasn't a bad rebound. Aside from both having lost their fathers from the same terminal illness, they did have a lot in common, namely skiing.
In fact, in their drunken stupors last night, Caitlin, Nina, Mikel & Matthias had decided to book another room at Snowpark to spend Christmas and New Years together, Kara and her boyfriend Zak agreed to go too. Three couples splitting a room during a holiday week meant they barely paid anything for the room, it was a steal.
Furthermore, Matthias suggested bringing Cait's father's ashes to spread some on his favorite mountain slope, an idea which Cait fell in love with immediately. She hadn't thought of that and was impressed Matthias had.
"Ville would have never even considered that, I bet." She bitterly thought to herself.
Cait sat up and as she did, Matthias stretched and groaned. "Hey there."
Cait side-eyed him, "Hey." She replied, reaching over to the nightstand to grab another condom and straddled Matthias, "I have to go back to my-- Ville's house" she corrected herself, "to pack and bring stuff over here. But before that..."
Matthias raised his eyebrows, thinking he was the luckiest man alive. In his mind, he was good enough to score Ville Valo's ex, and not only that, she kept coming back for more, it did wonders for his self-esteem. "Yes ma'am, as you wish." He smiled.
Caitly shut her eyes and let Matthias do the work from beneath her. It was enjoyable, sure, but it wasn't Ville. No matter how tightly she squeezed her eyes shut and pretended, it wasn't Ville.
"Whatever. He can be trained. Rome wasn't built in a day." She thought as she tried very hard to mentally get herself to a place where she could get off with Matthias. When she did peek through a crack in here eyelids, she saw Matthias looking as though he won the lottery. It was great to be thought of as some sort of accomplishment or prize, admittedly, and it felt nice that *someone* wanted her. Even if she didn't particularly like them, but deep down Cait knew she just didn't want to be alone. Especially not during the holidays, and *especially* not the first holiday without her dad.
She might have been Matthias' grand prize, but he was a participation trophy at best.
December 22nd 2011, 3am.
Ville arrived home from the short tour HIM had done in the UK and Ireland, and he was spent.
Furthermore, Caitlyn hadn't called him once since he'd left, and with each day that passed he got more anxious and ornery.
He fully expected her to break and when she didn't, his conscious began eating at him.
He didn't *want* to break up with her, he was very much still in love with her, and he figured that maybe once he got home they could talk it out. Maybe his absence softened both of their hearts. He considered bringing home flowers just to break the ice, but getting home so late, it wasn't an option. The entire flight from Dublin to Helsinki should have taken 3 hours. Between delays and an impromptu layover, it had taken 15. So to say Ville was frustrated and exhausted was an understatement. He just wanted to come in and fall into the couch and go to sleep. He wasn't going to sleep beside Caitlyn. Not until they smoothed things over.
But upon getting out of his cab, his observation was the house was completely dark. Odd, considering Caitlyn usually left a light on downstairs. He walked up to the door, set the bags down and realized mail hadn't been taken in. Odd. Caitlyn was the one who had gotten the mail every day, so he thought maybe she forgot.
Tucking the mail under his arm, he got into the house. He sat the mail down on the entryway table and noticed the house smelled freshly clean. He flicked on a lamp beside the couch, and sure enough, the house was spotless. He smirked in victory. He had won after all. Caitlyn obviously felt so bad that she cleaned up the place for his homecoming, knowing it would put him at ease immediately. She knew he loved coming home to the a clean, cozy house.
But still, Ville thought, probably best to sleep on the couch. It was late, he didn't want to disturb her. Ville grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and started flipping through the mail, as he walked towards the couch. He passed the bookcase on his way in and something made him pause. His eyes lifted from the mail and he turned to see an open space on the bookshelf that made his stomach drop.
The spot where a large urn used to sit, was now empty. The ornate, red urn, that contained the remains of Caitlyn's father, was made of pure crystal. Ville had spared no expense when it came to all of Caitlyn's father's funeral services and the urn was no exception.
Ville quickly looked around the room for it, maybe she just moved it elsewhere. "Oh fuck..." Ville's body filled with dread, he looked outside, realizing he hadn't noticed if her car was there, and sure enough, it was not. Caitlyn was not there. "No no no no no..." he mumbled as he rushed up the stairs. If the ashes were gone, she surely was too. Entering the bedroom, Ville immediately realized her makeup and perfume no longer sat on the antique, 100-year-old vanity he bought her for their 4th anniversary. Rushing to the closet, he found her side barren. A quick look in the bathroom, it was devoid of all traces of her.
Ville felt like he had the wind knocked out of him and eased himself down on the edge of the bed in stunned silence.
Caitlyn was gone.
