Y’all look at this mess called (wait for it) Chio Chicano. And no she isn’t Mexican or Mexican American. She’s a Korean rapper throwing up Blood gang signs, calling indirectly calling people who criticize her ni**ers, and imitating gang and drill rap culture
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this what her comments on insta look like
Tumblr media
Just a whole ghetto and ratchet mess. I’m just just going to say this, Chio the fake Chicano is probably going to be the first one to get shot and die from doing this wannabe gangsta routine in the US. I assure you that the Bloods aren’t going to appreciate some random Korean lady playing in their faces like this. Especially when she’s wearing a blue wig. Then on top of that, her nickname is Rice Spice(which explains the graa graa in her caption)

2024 is about to be the year of the Korean Wannabe Blacks.

MCVERTT SHARES NEW VIDEO SINGLE “HATE THE REAL” (FEAT. 41)
Tumblr media
Still riding the momentum from a 2023 GRAMMY “Best Rap Song” nomination for his work on Lil Uzi Vert’s 2X RIAA Platinum hit “Just Wanna Rock” (1.5B Streams), Jersey Club trailblazer MCVERTT has made his long-awaited return with a new video single "Hate The Real" (feat. 41) — out via Warner Records and 100%/1865/Defiant Records.
Tumblr media
Serving as the prolific producer and songwriter’s first release of 2024, the track features Brooklyn rap group 41 (Kyle Richh, TaTa, and Jenn Carter), who he previously collaborated with on last year’s RIAA Gold-certified single “Bent” (215M Streams). Bolstered by a danceable beat that highlights MCVERTT’s signature Jersey Club sound that he’s helped put on the map, “Hate The Real” is a celebratory ode to the good life — even in the face of the challenges that accompany newfound success. The track arrives on the heels of a breakthrough year for MCVERTT, who recently earned his first artist entry on the Billboard charts with the Sexxy Red and A$AP Ferg-assisted “Face Down” (20M Streams).
youtube
At just 20 years old, MCVERTT has already built a reputation for himself as one of the next generation of rap’s go-to producers. The Garden State tastemaker first garnered momentum through his work with longtime collaborator Bandmanrill, both of whom record executive Steven “Steve-O” Carless recruited to join his Defiant Records imprint following the success of their viral song "Heartbroken”.
Since then, MCVERTT has continued to carve out his own lane in the Tri-State Area and beyond, working with the likes of Lil Uzi Vert (“Just Wanna Rock”), Cash Cobain (“Messy”), and IShowSpeed on his viral hit “Shake” (205M Streams). Now with “Hate The Real”, MCVERTT is continuing his rapid ascension into the upper echelons of producers as he prepares to release his debut full-length album later this year, pushing the sonic boundaries of Jersey Club ever forward.

If I had a penny for every time I heard a black drill rapper compare themselves to the KKK due to how many black people they've killed, I'd have two, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

SLEEPY HALLOW SHARES NEW SINGLE "WINNERS IN PARIS"
Tumblr media
Following a pivotal 2023 year that saw him release his acclaimed album,Boy Meets World, Brooklyn star Sleepy Hallow has just shared his new single “Winners in Paris” along with an accompanying music video via Winners Circle Entertainment/RCA Records. An uptempo, summer-ready track bolstered by its visual’s comedic narrative, the melodic song sees Sleepy Hallow toast to life’s finer things with a bold, poppy hook (“She says she a savage, she over 21 / See n—- in Paris, she says she wanna come”). Widely hailed as one of Brooklyn’s artists to watch, the track marks Sleepy Hallow’s first release since February’s 112-sampling “Cupid’s Guidance”, which HipHopDX hailed as a “vibrant and upbeat joint.” An artist who draws inspiration from pop stars like Ed Sheeran and Olivia Rodrigo as much as his early hip-hop influences, Sleepy Hallow is ushering in a new era with “Winners in Paris”, his second single of 2024, showcasing why Rolling Stone hailed him as an artist that’s “expanding the definition of drill rap.”
youtube
Sleepy Hallow first exploded onto the national stage in 2020 with RIAA Certified Platinum track “Deep End Freestyle” (600M streams) before making his major label debut with 2021’s Still Sleep?, which charted in the top 20 on Billboard and received praise from COMPLEX as a project that “sees Sleepy take a well-deserved victory lap.” The artist co-founded independent label Winners Circle Entertainment alongside fellow Brooklyn rap mainstay Sheff G and has continued to carve out his own lane as one of the scene’s rising stars ever since, receiving high honors from Billboard, HipHopDX, and BET as well as making appearances at Rolling Loud and Day N Vegas.
Tumblr media
Most recently, Sleepy Hallow made waves with 2023 album Boy Meets World, which featured the likes of Marshmello, Fivio Foreign, and Lil Tjay and boasted hit tracks “Die Young” featuring 347aidan (530M streams) and “A N X I E T Y” featuring Doechii (124M streams). With over 2.5 billion streams and 427 million video views worldwide, Sleepy Hallow is continuing to cement his name as one of rap’s breakout stars as he prepares to release even more music in 2024.
