Still riding the momentum from a 2023 GRAMMY “Best Rap Song” nomination for his work on Lil Uzi Vert’s 2X RIAA Platinum hit “Just Wanna Rock” (1.5B Streams), Jersey Club trailblazer MCVERTT has made his long-awaited return with a new video single "Hate The Real" (feat. 41) — out via Warner Records and 100%/1865/Defiant Records. 

Serving as the prolific producer and songwriter’s first release of 2024, the track features Brooklyn rap group 41 (Kyle Richh, TaTa, and Jenn Carter), who he previously collaborated with on last year’s RIAA Gold-certified single “Bent” (215M Streams). Bolstered by a danceable beat that highlights MCVERTT’s signature Jersey Club sound that he’s helped put on the map, “Hate The Real” is a celebratory ode to the good life — even in the face of the challenges that accompany newfound success.
