and honestly it used to make me a bit insecure or feeling like i was doing something wrong since there’s so much “emphasis” on a first person pov, but these past few months i’ve been growing in confidence in how i do things and it may not be like everyone else’s, and that’s totally okay !

so basically yes, there’s nothing wrong with how you visualize/imagine things 💗! whenever you find yourself having that what if doubt, just take a breath and be like “im letting myself be limitless, and that includes how i imagine things”

Let’s be real, every character deserves their own theme song. You know your characters better than anyone, what would their personal soundtrack be? Is your main character a hopeless romantic who blasts Taylor Swift on repeat? Or are they more of an, Billie Eilish (Ps:I Love Billie) kind of person? Find songs that capture their personality, their struggles, and their growth throughout the novel.

Character A (The Dreamer): Their playlist is full of soft, dreamy ballads like “Falling Slowly” by Glen Hansard. Character B (The Brooding Love Interest): They’d totally vibe with something like “Sweater Weather” by The Neighbourhood

Think about it, When your characters finally have that emotional, heart-wrenching argument, what song plays in the background of your mind? When they share their first kiss, is it something soft and sweet, or fiery and passionate? The right song can totally enhance the mood of your scenes, even if you’re just listening while you write.

Big Fight Scene? Go for something intense, like “Control” by Halsey.

The Breakup Scene? You can’t go wrong with a tear-jerker like “Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo.

This playlist is your baby, so don’t forget to throw in some of your personal faves. If a song speaks to you, even if it doesn’t seem to fit perfectly at first glance, add it anyway. As a young angel, I perceived love as something exceptionally beautiful. I believed that everyone deserves to meet their soulmate and it’s waiting for me too. With the passing decades, my enthusiasm waned. More failed relationships, disappointments. My mother said, 'That's because God has someone special for me. I sought blame in others, later in myself, and my frustration grew. I became bitter, jealous of others happiness, and desperate to kill the feeling of emptiness.

Until I gave up. I accepted loneliness, tried to love myself anew, and embraced the surrounding reality—the "Paradise" from which there was no escape. Hello?! We are in heaven; everyone is happily in love with their loved ones and families.

I found my peace but never stopped wondering if God, in the grand miracle of creation, had perhaps forgotten about my kindred soul.

Unexpectedly, the delicate lips of a sinner, a demon, brushed against mine.

Alastor stepped back, reopening my old wounds. I should only blame myself for playing with fire. When I learned that the radio demon's weakness was closeness and affection I thought getting rid of him and his quirks would be easy.

Tears rolled down my cheeks, he kissed them away, as if they were a cure for the dying.

Soon, I found myself in his arms. There was something in his touch, as if he held an incredibly precious thing, and I surrendered. Even if it's only for tonight.

Jazz music flowed from the demon's enchanted radio

"When I was a child, my mother always told me a bedtime story," Alastor said, adopting a dreamy expression. "Do you maybe like criminals, sweetheart?

It's not a very popular genre in heaven, but I guess hell has plenty of bestsellers." I replied with laughter

His grin expanded.

"Oh, let me tell you a classic. It started in high school, a young man from disgustingly rich family, didn't spare injured birds, lost dogs, and worse, cats roaming on their own paths."

Hearing about young Alastor's first murders gave me shivers and curiosity at the same time. I wanted to know every detail, every motive. To understand what hides behind that smile and piercing gaze

Alastor's POV:

She fell asleep unusually quickly. I wish I could lock her away like a feather in the radio tower, but this time I opted to carry her to bed

I sat beside her and observed with. I could never comprehend addictions until I tried angelic energy. my magic felt to return with every sip from her essence. With clawed hands, I combed through strands of her silvery-white Hair

The memory of her hands tightening on my coat. The sweet-salty taste of tears, though my lips wanted to return to another place. Fuck, I'm really on the edge of madness.

“We’re Choosing The Path Between The Stars…” (Jareth x Fem! Reader) Fanfic Part 2

“What could I possibly wear to a masquerade? I’d hate to be dressed too plainly,” Y/n wondered out loud.

Jareth laughed. “I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I have an entire chamber filled with the finest garments for occasions like this.” He stood up, offering her his arm and gently guiding her down a long candlelit hall riddled with puzzling and abrupt turns. “Here we are.” He said, ushering her inside a circular chamber decorated much more extravagantly than the basic stone halls he had led Y/n through. Y/n let out a quick gasp, eyes sparkling with joy as she beheld the gowns with big sweeping skirts and bejeweled bodices, and suits with shining sequins and silk cravats. She let go of Jareth’s arm, rushing towards one of the gowns and picking it up, holding it to her chest and twirling around the room.

Jareth tilted his head to the side, observing with a good deal of amusement as Y/n stood in front of a mirror, comparing the colors of the different dresses against herself. He had never seen such a lively girl as the one before him. She seemed completely different from the girl he had found beaten and bruised in her bedroom just a few hours ago. Jareth made a mental note to be careful. It was important he maintained his regal countenance. This girl was dangerously close to melting his cold heart.

“Which one should I wear?” Y/n asked, gesturing to several different dresses. “I like the one with these dramatic sleeves, but the fabric on this one is exceptional, and oh! This one has such detailed embroidery, I think it would highlight my waist nicely.”

Jareth smirked, wearing a a mask of smug indifference. “Surprise me.” He said.

Y/n feigned pouting, slightly annoyed he didn’t contribute any opinions. “Fine by me. I’m going to change now, so you should probably leave.” She said, picking up another gown. When she looked back up Jareth was gone. Y/n paused, staring at the empty doorway for a bit, then closing the door and trying on the dark burgundy dress with the red garnets. As se looked in the mirror, she smiled. But her smile faded as a thought occurred to her. ���What was the true motive behind the dashing and powerful goblin king saving her from her abusive parents? If Y/n remembered correctly (from the fantasy fiction novel called Labyrinth) Jareth was a master of lies and manipulation. He was as deceitful and treacherous as he was beautiful. She frowned, shaking her head. ‘Whatever his intentions are… anything is better than returning to my wretched life at home. I was so lonely before. No one in the world cared about me. At least for now I have someone who looks at me without hatred and disappointment, even if Jareth’s interest in me is only a fickle whim of fancy.” Y/n tried on a few more dresses before deciding on the one that looked most magical on her form.

Y/n wandered the halls, following the sound of the music she heard in the distance. Soon enough she arrived in front of wrought iron and glass double-doors that emitted a soft, dreamy glow. She entered, her heels that she had found in the other chamber clicking softly on the white marble tile with silvery veins running through it. She gaped in awe, unsure of where to look. Tables draped in pearly satin were piled with delicacies, and diamonds hung overhead from ghostly chandeliers as masked dancers spun gracefully around Y/n. The music was hauntingly beautiful, like a music box playing the notes of a love song long forgotten. The walls were mirrors, reflecting the light of the candles in a dizzying spectacle. Y/n realized she wasn’t wearing a mask, and a few of the dancers stared at her with curiosity. She weaved through the crowd, searching for Jareth. Something seemed off about the other guests at the masquerade. She shivered as she passed two women laughing heartily at a man with a particularly odd mask.

Jareth watched Y/n from a distance. She was so angelic. The dress she had chosen enhanced her beauty in ever way without taking away from her natural radiance. Her bruises were almost unnoticeable with the wa her hair fell on her shoulders and brushed her cheeks. He wondered if such an angel would ever fall for a devil like him. The thought triggered a feeling inside him that Jareth could not explain. The last time he had felt that way…. He grinned, suppressing any doubts and striding towards Y/n.

Y/n was growing more and more alarmed with the way the other guests were watching her and snickering. Finally, she heard a familiar voice behind her. “Is something the matter, darling?”

“Jareth?” Y/n said spinning around to face the goblin king. She sighed with relief upon seeing him. “You look-“ Her voice cut off. She searched for words, but felt overwhelmed by how handsome the king was.

He chuckled, aware there wouldn’t be a word to finish that sentence. “Shall we dance?” He offered, gesturing to the dance floor. Y/n blushed and nodded. Jareth took her into his arms, carefully leading her through the steps of a waltz. There was an unmistakable electricity between them, and while Y/n had never considered herself to be much of a talented dancer, Jareth made the movements seemingly effortless for both of them.

On their second dance, Y/n finally built up the courage to ask him the question that had been bothering her. “So…” She said, meeting the goblin king’s gaze. “Why did you save me? And why are the other… dancers staring at us like that? They seem to be mocking us, or at least, mocking me.”

Jareth sighed, as if he had been expecting that question. “Would you really like to know? Sometimes ignorance is bliss, Y/n.”

“I really want to know.” Y/n insisted.

The goblin king frowned, displeased by this answer. He led her off to the side of the dance floor and onto a balcony that overlooked a seemingly endless starry night. When he was sure they were alone, just the two of them, he began. “Those dancers are… were… the High Court of this kingdom, under my rule. Surely you didn’t think a man of my status would only rule over mindless goblins, did you?”

Y/n was silent, curious and concerned at where this conversation was going.

Jareth continued. “I also… had a queen. That was many years ago.” His face was expressionless but the pain shone in his eyes. “The High Court hated her. They conspired against her and killed her while I was away. And when I returned…” Jareth turned to Y/n laughing bitterly. “I killed them all in my rage, trapping their ghosts in an eternal masquerade. It was easy enough, as they were no match for my magic. Suitable, too. Their falsehood and facades mirrored in the masks they can never go without. He grinned, slightly crazed by the memory.

Y/n stood, watching Jareth in shock, before she said simply, “A poet once said… ‘tell me every terrible thing you ever did, and let me love you anyway’.” She placed her hand in Jareth’s as she looked out over the balcony at the glittering midnight abyss below.

Jareth entwined his fingers around her’s, staring out with her at the night sky.

“So why am I here?” Y/n whispered gently.

The goblin king turned, leaning towards her and initiating a passionate kiss that stole Y/n’s breath away. When their embrace parted, he brushed her hair behind her ear. And cupped his hands around her face. “You’re here because you deserve the world. And I can give that to you. Would you be my new queen?”

“I…” Y/n felt her heart skip a beat. “If you promise to love me… If you promise to never hurt me… then yes. I would love to be your queen. I’d love to be your anything… I’d love to be your everything.”

Jareth pulled her close and whispered in her ear. “I promise.”

Have you ever thought about Sun trying to teach Moon how to skate?

I haven't but o buddy this is so sweet, I have now!!!! Have a drabble my friend (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

“Soooooooooo~ I’ve got a special date planned for tonight, Moonglow.” Sun hums warmly, as they lean across the front check-in desk with easy confidence. Instead of their usual diner uniform, they have on one of Moon’s short sleeve button up shirts. The dark blue and black color scheme has Sun’s yellow silicone glowing even brighter than usual. It’s become a frequent habit of theirs to borrow Moon’s clothes, and it still leaves him a flustered mess every time he sees them wearing it. The little star flair designs along the front must be matching how bright the constellations along his cheek are shining. 

Fully distracted by it all, it takes a moment for Moon’s mind to catch up. He blinks the stars from his eyes, and hides his flustered smile in the safety of his nightcap. “Special? Should I bring anything?” 

Sun’s fingers swirl along the black countertop like golden comet trails, a mischievous quirk to their smile as they say, “Wear your shorts. I don't want you tripping over your pants.”

As the street lamps kick on, Moon waits outside the diner for Sun. The humidity and heat of the day lingers over the hot asphalt like a warm blanket. Past the glow of the neon signs and lamps lining the sidewalks, he catches quick glimpses of the stars in the night sky. A shiver rattles through him as a cool night breeze brushes against his bare legs. He only has a few pairs of shorts, and it’s rare he ever wears them, but for Sun he’s willing to give them a try from time to time. He much prefers the familiar comfort of cloth covering his knobby robotic legs, but the warm weight of Sun’s hand on his knee sure can be a motivator to change up his look when they ask. 

Dusty blue silicone peaks out below the crisp hemline of his shorts on his upper thighs, only for the color to fade like the twilight to darker shades towards his calves. Embroidered stars and moons dance along the hemline of his navy blue shorts, as little bursts of white, silver, and gold. Nestled snugly above his waist, he fiddles with the tip of his black leather belt to try and tuck it behind the closest loop. The blue and yellow stripes along his white shirt reflect back through the diner windows as he does so. 

The chime of the diner door grabs his attention, but before he can look up, an unfamiliar whoosh steamrolls towards him like a freight train. Wide eyed with shock, a blur of yellow rockets towards him, and he wonders if the comet is falling from the roof to crash into him. 

“Hey there handsome!” 

All at once, the motion consumes him as Sun’s arms wrap tight around his waist to lift him up. He yelps with surprise, hanging on to them like a dizzy koala, as they spin in perfect circles. While that train rattling sound crunches on the concrete below them. 

“Surprise!” They chime, as they finally slow to a stop. 

Moon keeps his arms and legs firmly wrapped around Sun, as if at any moment the roller-coaster might start up again. They titter gleefully as he simply gawks at them. “What… was that?!” The usually low soothing murmur of his voice raises to sound much closer to the tinny tenor of Sun's natural tone.

Sun hefts him up in their arms, humming with mischievous delight as their warm palms cradle the exposed silicone of his thighs. “Said I had a surprise for tonight.” They lean forward to press a chaste kiss to the anxiously flaring stars along his night cheek. “Management sent me some roller skates for the diner~ Thought it might be fun to teach you how to skate… if you’d like?” 

The flash of pastel pink wheels grabs Moon’s attention as he looks down at Sun’s feet. The design is the same dreamy color palette as the rest of the diner, with pastel pinks, turquoise, and white accents. They’re cute and so very Sun.

Between the warm honey of their tone and the sweet touches, all his shock melts away to a familiar flustered buzz. He lets out a huff of laughter as he bonks his forehead to theirs, a few final jolts of surprise trickling through his wires. “That’s… some surprise, Sunrise.” He lets out a wispy sigh, and leans back to look at them. “So what was your plan if I said no to learning?”

They give a small squeeze to his thighs, as they very pointedly give him a pleased look over. “Well… I could show you some tricks I’ve learned. Or–” they lower their voice to a purr, “we could spend some time up on the roof. I’d love to go stargazing, and I think I know just the ones I’d like to map out with you.” 

A quick flurry of kisses pepper along his cheek to land on the glowing stars there.

Suave and oh so silly, Moon can’t help but lose himself to laughter as Sun ends each static kiss with a playful Mwah! 

“Ok! Ok!” Moon gets out between wispy giggles, his eyes crack back open to look at Sun’s eager smile. His own lopsided one must be as wide as can be in return.

“You’ve got the sweetest little laugh, you know that, Moon Pie?” Even through all the teasing, Sun’s eyes soften fondly as they give him a happy squeeze.

He playfully baps at their arm to let him down. “I’ll probably be laughing when I fall face first while skating… Remind me about that again when I do.” It’s a joke, but there’s hardly any real worry to it with the way hiccups of soft laughter bubble up through his words.

Sun hums a happy little tune as they help him back to the ground, “You won’t fall, sweetie, I’ll be right here to hold you steady.” They thread their fingers with one of his hands to tug him towards the diner. “Gonna hold your hand all night, Nightlight~!” 

Would Moon ever be as skilled as Sun at roller skating? Probably not. But none of that seems to matter with how wide his lopsided smile stretches at the thought of how steady and warm their hand is in his. 

After all, if skating is a bust… stargazing sounded pretty good too ❤

Kiki x Dabi ( Oc x Canon)

Kiki just finished working a few more hours at UA and so happens to bump into Dabi along the way... Wonder what happens next? 👀

Authors note: I apologize for my recent hiatus, a lots been happening lately and I've just lost motivation for a lot of things lately- so yeah, sorry about that- hope this'll make up for it!! ✨

Another day in Honei city, today seemed a lot calmer than most. Of course there's the usual villains trying to make a name for themselves, but it's mostly been bank robbery's to be honest. Kiki was on her way to UA, but beforehand she grabbed a bottle of strawberry milk and an egg and bacon sandwich. She couldn't stop thinking about the nice conversation she was having with Tomura the other night, not only that but she couldn't help but feel like someone was watching them the whole step of the way. The stalker feelings have been itching at her for a few days since then.

As she stepped foot onto the school grounds she was greeted by Aizawa and President mic who were chatting in the middle of the footpath.

Pres Mic: "Heyyyy miss Bushida! What's shakin baby?"

Aizawa: "ugh... Do you really have to greet her that way?"

Pres mic: "What? The ladies love it~"

Aizawa: *he rolls his eyes and looks back at Kiki with a small grin* "Good morning, Bushida."

Kiki: *she chuckled and waved at the two of them with a smile* "Morning! I'm doing good, I just had my breakfast on the way here, how about you guys?"

Pres mic: "Oh nothin' too exciting just talking about aizawa's training exercises for his class."

Kiki: "Awww! How's it going by the way Shouta? I love those guys! They're so full of life when it comes to using their quirks for combat"

Aizawa: *he looked at her, his expression unreadable but he was surprised to hear about Kiki taking a liking to his class. He clears his throat before he starts to talk again* "They're doing good, Midoriya though, he keeps getting injured from his quirk, which is a bit unusual. And Bakugou... Well, let's just say he's, a bit of a fireball when it comes to things"

Kiki and pres mic: "Yeah tell me about it-"

The three of them all conversed together before they heard the bell ring, Aizawa started heading inside to start with his morning lectures, waving at them as he walks off.

Pres mic: "wanna walk to the office together?"

Kiki: "sure! But then in like an hour I have..." *she checks her phone for her schedule* "oh! I have a meeting with Nezu! Nice"

Pres mic: "Ayeee with Nezu huh? Watch out, maybe he'll give you a lecture instead" *he teases her, earning a soft chuckle from her"

The two of them continued talking as they made their way inside the building and into the office, being greeted by snipe, all might, midnight, and cementoss.

Kiki gave them all a soft smile and a wave before she walked over to her desk and sat down in her seat, taking a sip of her strawberry milk with a content sigh.

Midnight: "Hey there Kiki! How have you been lately? Anything new~ anyyyy... Boys? Or girls in your life?"

Cementoss: "Midnight!"

Midnight: "whatttt? I'm curious! After all Kiki has only been working here for a few years! She's the only new staff member we have that I barely know!"

Kiki: *she blushes brightly and tucks a hair behind her ear* "u-um... Maybe a guy? I dunno, but things have been good lately thank you for asking, how about you midnight?"

Midnight: "OOOOOO!! A GUY?? oh Kiki please spill!"

Kiki: *she chuckles nervously and held her strawberry milk bottle* "i- iii ummm. It's a bit hard to explain heh.."

Midnight: "aww how hard can it be? Who is it?? Can I at least know if he's handsome?"

Kiki: "Mmmm... Well... He has these dreamy blue eyes that I could get lost in... His hair is black... Umm, oh and he's really really mysterious"

Midnight: "Ooooo, sounds like a real xharmer~ is he a good boy or... Bad boy~"

Kiki: *she hummed softly and giggled* "Mmmm definitely a bad boy~"

The two of them were giggling about Kiki's growing crush, though. She was a bit nervous that midnight might've known who it was so she kept the villain part in the dark for now...

Later on that day, it was now the evening. Kiki felt a bit tired from working from nine to seven. She checked her bus timetable as she was making her way to the bus stop, thankfully she had lunch in her bag and a spare juice for the day, she didn't realize how long it would've taken her to finish up. Nezu needed help with something and she had to stay back, which was disappointing.

As she made it to the bus stop, she sat down on a seat waiting for the bus. She looked up and side to side to see if there was any bus in sight. She sighed, seeing nothing but cars on the road, then suddenly, she felt a droplet of water drip onto her head. She cursed to herself and tried her best to cover her head as it starts to pour down.

She shivered from the cold chills running down her body, water drops trickling down from her forehead to her chin. Her arms were crossed over her chest as she tries to keep herself warm the best she could.

???: "Hey... You okay? Princess?"

The mysterious figure asked her, holding an umbrella over her head. She recognized that voice almost instantly. She looked up to the figure, seeing Dabi there, but this time his hair was... White? It made her chuckle a bit, she grinned at him, feeling grateful for the kind gesture.

Dabi saw this, turning his head away so she wouldn't see him blush lightly.

Kiki: "Thanks.. For the cover"

Dabi: "shut up" *he huffed in embarrassment*

Kiki: "heh... Whatever, old man"

Dabi: "hey! I'll have you know I'm 22"

Kiki: "oh? I'm 25"

Dabi: "oh- wait really? You look... *his eyes trailed off on her body, her beautiful mixed purple eyes, her long black locks of hair, her plump dark pure lips... Everything about her was... Perfection."

Kiki: "uhhh... Hello? *she waves her hand in his face*

Kiki: "huh?"

The two started off awkwardly, chuckling as they started to mock each other's awkwardness. Dabi sat down next to her as they started to talk to each other under the umbrella for what seemed like hours.

Kiki started to relax a bit more now that she got to know Dabi a little bit more, her cheeks turning a bit brighter than before.

Dabi: "well.. I saw you and your delicate body shivering so, as the bright knight I am, I came as soon as I can to save the princess from getting a terrible fever~" *he mocked playfully, doing a dramatic damsel in distress pose, earning a laugh from Kiki*

Kiki: "haha! You're funny! But... You actually came here to, cover me from the rain?"

Dabi: *he looked at Kiki with a softened gaze. Before thinking carefully to answer that question, he nodded slowly* "I... Did"

Kiki: "o-oh... Well... That's really sweet of you" *she admits, turning her gaze to him as her face brightened up*

There was a moment of silence between them, before Dabi leaned in closer to Kiki, his lips inching closer to hers as he started to close his eyes. Kiki followed his movements, her hand reaching up to cup his cheek, pressing her lips gently against his as they shared a moment of intimacy with a passionate kiss. It was wonderful, it felt... Incredible. Her stomach was fluttering with excitement and her heart felt lighter, like it was dancing on a floor made of clouds.

They slowly pulled away from each other to catch their breath, staring into each other's eyes with a heated gaze. Dabi's eyes were searching for any sign of hesitation or fear, but there was nothing, it was only passion and desire seen in her eyes. And he loved it...
