before quarantine I was able to focus on things. I had hobbies and hyperfixations and it was great. I could spend all day building a lego set or researching something. now i can't and it feels like something is missing and i fucking hate it. for at least 3 months i have been unable to pay attention and consistently focus on anything. I miss having interests.

AAAAAGH#i want to spend hours researching something and getting obsessed with it and ranting to people#i want to collect things related to a certain topic#i want to love something in the same way that so many other people seem to love their interests#but i've somehow lost the ability to do that and i can't figure out why
