"I was wondering if you...would...help me kill someone."

Character Name: Dr. Annie Walker
Fandom: Realms of Peril & Glory: Liminal London [Podcast]
Played By: Shamani Bundell
Yarn Used: Dress/Shoes/Hair: Loops & Threads Soft Classic - Black Skin: CraftSmart Value - White Lips: CraftSmart Value - Tomato
Basic pattern here.

I have yet to hear Shamani voice a character I didn’t want to hug at least a little bit, and Annie is no exception.I have yet to hear Shamani voice a character I didn’t want to hug at least a little bit, and Annie is no exception. She's just been through so much and she doesn't deserve any of it, and every time it looks like she's going to get at least something approximating a happy ending...ugh. At least she got one dance and one kiss, right?
Annie went WAY off the beaten path, and deviates from the standard pattern as follows:

Dress: Okay, this was actually a lot of fun. For the first time, I did the skirt part first! I wanted it to be a kind of classy, elegant ballgown of the sort that Annie’s goth little heart would thrill to and Chantal’s innate fashion sense would approve of, so I used a shell stitch. The pattern is as follows:
Skirt: Ch 79. R1: Sc in second ch from hook, [skip next 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch, skip next 2 ch, sc in next ch] 12 times, skip next 2 ch, 5dc in next ch, skip next 2 ch, join to first sc (13 sc, 65 dc). R2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in same st, [skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next sc] 12 times, skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, sl st in third ch (13 sc, 65 dc). R3: Ch 2, [hdc in next 11 st, inv dec] 6 times, sl st in first hdc (72 hdc). R4: Ch 1, [sc in first st, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next st, skip next 2 st] 12 times, sl st in first sc (12 sc, 60 dc). R5: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in same st, [skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next sc] 11 times, skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, sl st in third ch (12 sc, 60 dc). R6: Ch 2, [hdc in next 10 st, inv dec] 6 times, sl st in first hdc (66 hdc). R7: Ch 1, [sc in first st, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next st, skip next 2 st] 11 times, sl st in first sc (11 sc, 55 dc). R5: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in same st, [skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next sc] 10 times, skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, sl st in third ch (11 sc, 55 dc). R7: Ch 2, [hdc in next 9 st, inv dec] 6 times, sl st in first hdc (60 hdc). R8: Ch 1, [sc in first st, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next st, skip next 2 st] 10 times, sl st in first sc (10 sc, 50 dc). R9: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in same st, [skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next sc] 9 times, skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, sl st in third ch (10 sc, 50 dc). R10: Ch 2, [hdc in next 8 st, inv dec] 6 times, sl st in first hdc (54 hdc). R11: Ch 1, [sc in first st, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next st, skip next 2 st] 9 times, sl st in first sc (9 sc, 45 dc). R12: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in same st, [skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next sc] 8 times, skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, sl st in third ch (9 sc, 45 dc). R13: Ch 2, [hdc in next 7 st, inv dec] 6 times, sl st in first hdc (48 hdc). R14: Ch 1, [sc in first st, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next st, skip next 2 st] 8 times, sl st in first sc (8 sc, 40 dc). R15: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in same st, [skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next sc] 7 times, skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, sl st in third ch (8 sc, 40 dc). R16: Ch 2, [hdc in next 6 st, inv dec] 6 times, sl st in first hdc (42 hdc). R17: Ch 1, [sc in first st, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next st, skip next 2 st] 7 times, sl st in first sc (7 sc, 35 dc). R18: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in same st, [skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next sc] 6 times, skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, sl st in third ch (7 sc, 35 dc). R19: Ch 2, [hdc in next 5 st, inv dec] 6 times, sl st in first hdc (36 hdc). R20: Ch 1, [sc in first st, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next st, skip next 2 st] 6 times, sl st in first sc (6 sc, 30 dc). R21: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in same st, [skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, 5 dc in next sc] 5 times, skip next 2 st, sc in middle dc of shell, skip next 2 st, sl st in third ch (6 sc, 30 dc). R22: Ch 2, hdc in front loop of each st around, sl st in first hdc (36 hdc). R23: Ch 1, sc in back loop of each st around, sl st in first sc (36 sc).
Bodice: I picked up the pattern as if R23 was R42 at that point and mostly continued as normal. I did try to give her a sweetheart neckline, though, so when I got to a point where I judged the plunge of the collar would come in, I switched to the skin color, did 3 sc in back loops, switched back to the dress color, 1 sc, back to skin, 3 sc in back loops, and resume dress color for remainder of round. The next round I just did expanded the stretch of skin by one stitch on either side and continued to do so until I reached the natural end of the dress.

When I reached the neck, I actually stuffed her from the bottom up. I then sewed on a base that was, essentially, your basic circle with a ripple effect on the outer rim because I had hoped it would make the skirt appear to billow. I don’t think it worked exactly the way I intended, but it works well enough.
And speaking of things that didn’t work exactly the way I intended but worked well enough…

…I put a magnet in Annie’s right shoulder blade, so she and Declan can share a dance in the closest approximation of proper ballroom frame that can be achieved through half-remembered long-ago lessons and a single YouTube video tutorial.

Head: I did what I did with Alice and stitched Annie’s scalp in her hair color, then used the loop method to attach hair all around her hairline. Once I had done that, I experimented with gathering it into a bun but settled for a high ponytail because it wasn’t quite long enough. I tried to give her a little bit of blood trickling out of the corner of her mouth, too. And the eyes…red (well, dark pink) just seemed too clichéed, so I went with gold.
Arms: You know those frilly off-the-shoulder sleeves you see on fantasy ball gowns? That’s what I was going for here. I did the arms in the skin color all the way up, but I did the round next from last in front loops only and the last one in back loops only. I then joined the dress yarn to the front loops of that round, sc in each loop around, joined, and then did two shells, one on either side…more or less.

What’s one of the first things that comes to mind when you think of Hallmark? Why, romance of course! The Hallmark Channel has cornered the market on happy endings, and some of our all-time favorite swoon-worthy films have hailed from the famed network. While it was nearly impossible to narrow this list down to only a few favorites, we did our best to keep in mind both the new hits, as well as the classics! Take a look at these 15 Hallmark romance movies for the next time you’re in the mood for that warm and fuzzy feeling.
15. Perfect Match (2015)
Starring Danica McKellar and Paul Greene, this Hallmark romance movie centers around an engaged couple who are finding it impossible to agree on anything when it comes to planning their wedding. So the mother-of-the-groom hires both a wedding planner and event planner to remedy the situation and take some of the pressure off the married couple to-be. The only problem is both planners couldn’t be more different — check out Perfect Match and see just how these two opposites might attract.
14. Royal Matchmaker (2018)
Bethany Joy Lenz stars as a matchmaker named Kate in this very royal romance, alongside hunky Brit Will Kemp. When she gets hired by a king to find a companion for his son in time for a major celebration, what she doesn’t expect is to fall for him herself, making things far more complicated than she anticipated.
13. Playing Cupid (2021)
A clever student attempts to set up her father with her middle school teacher as she starts a match-making business as a school project for one of her classes. This modern re-telling of Jane Austen’s Emma stars Nicholas Gonzalez and Laura Vandervoort.
12. Autumn Dreams (2015)
A teenage couple from Iowa (played by Colin Egglesfield and Jill Wagner) has dreams of escaping their small town and moving to the big city. The two elope before making their dreams a reality, but things come crashing down when the parents of Annie have their marriage annulled. Flash forward 15 years, both of them have gone their separate ways and are engaged to new people. However, it’s eventually discovered that the annulment was never finalized and they must reunite to tie off these loose ends — but being back together brings up more old feelings than they anticipated.
11. Unleashing Mr. Darcy (2016)
Elizabeth gets the opportunity to show her dog in a fancy New York City dog show, but finds herself clashing with Donovan Darcy, one of the judges of the competition. Sparks eventually fly between the two in this modern re-telling of Pride & Prejudice. Starring Cindy Busby and Ryan Paevey.
10. Sweet Autumn (2020)
Maggie and maple farmer Dex are confused as to why Maggie’s Aunt Dee left her candy shop split between the two of them in the wake of her passing. Through a series of letters, the duo attempts to uncover her reasoning during the Sweet Autumn Festival. Starring Andrew Walker and Nikki DeLoach.
9. It Was Always You (2021)
The brother of Elizabeth’s fiancee returns home, and his free-spirited nature makes her question the decision she’s made about her life. Starring When Calls the Heart’s Erin Krakow and Tyler Hynes.
(Read about some of our favorite Tyler Hynes movies here!)
8. Dater’s Handbook (2016)
Meghan Markle stars as Cassandra Barber, an unlucky-in-love type of woman, who turns to relationship expert Dr. Susie and her newest self-help book, The Dater’s Handbook, to evaluate her future potential suitors. With that, Cassandra finds herself torn between two different guys — the reliable George or the fun and playful Robert played by Kristoffer Polaha and Jonathan Scarfe.
7. The Beach House (2018)
Cara returns to her scenic hometown after losing her job in Chicago. It’s there where she finds inner peace taking care of the wildlife, fixing up her family’s beach house and reconnecting with an old love. Starring Minka Kelly and Chad Michael Murray.
6. My Secret Valentine (2018)
In one of the most beloved Hallmark romance movies, Chloe learns that her father has plans to sell their family’s winery, and finds herself seeking advice from her mysterious rental tenant through a series of chalkboard notes in passing. As time goes on, Chloe learns that the mysterious man she’s been writing back and forth with is someone she never expected. Starring Lacey Chabert and Andrew Walker.
5. The Lost Valentine (2011)
Betty White plays Caroline, a woman whose husband was declared missing in action during WWII and never returned home. Every year, she honors her husband’s memory by returning to Union Station where she first said goodbye to him. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays a journalist looking into the disappearance of Caroline’s husband 65 years prior, and with the help of Caroline’s grandson, played by Sean Faris, Caroline opens up. Meanwhile, sparks start flying between the young pair.
4. The Wedding Veil (2022)
Lacey Chabert stars as a museum curator who must work together with Peter, a new board member, to discover the origins of newly discovered long-lost pieces of art and plan a gala for the unveiling of a long-lost painting. Kevin McGarry stars alongside Chabert.
3. Love, Romance and Chocolate (2019)
Lacey Chabert once again stars as a woman reeling from the breakup between she and her boyfriend ahead of the Valentine’s Day trip they had planned to Belgium. Deciding to go foward with the trip anyway, it’s there where she meets chocolatier Luc Simon (Will Kemp) — and the relationship between the two grows to be sweeter than chocolate.
2. A Country Wedding (2015)
The runner up in our list of Hallmark romance movies is about a famous country singer has big plans to marry a famous Hollywood actress, but when he returns home to his humble roots and is reunited with his childhood sweetheart, he finds himself questioning his plans for the future — and who is going to be apart of them. Starring Jesse Metcalfe and Autumn Reeser.
1. The Magic of Ordinary Days (2005)
Kerri Russell plays a woman pregnant out of wedlock, who gets married off by her father to a farmer played by Skeet Ulrich. Although an older Hallmark production, it’s one of their most beloved films to date and a top favorite in this list of Hallmark romance movies!

TEN CHARACTERS
rules: pick 10 characters from 10 different fandoms and tag 10 people!
Thank you @justporo for the tag! I am so sorry I have practically written as essay for these characters but this was fun!
1.) Astarion from Baldur’s Gate 3
Honestly is anyone surprised? I’m not saying this list is in order, but I love his character so much. The balance of feminine and masculine, the trauma without it being his only personality trait, the nuance is just superb writing (and acting) that I’ve never seen in media before.
Plus BG3 has got me back on tumblr, drawing for pleasure again, and I’ve made a bunch of wonderful friends - so I have a lot to thank the pasty elf for.
2.) Renee Walker from 24
Okay so this is a super niche one but Renee Walker got me through some of my darkest teenage years. Whilst I don’t agree with everything in 24, I love her character (another complex character with trauma), I love Annie Wersching (Gods rest her soul), and this character is the first I think of when someone says ‘favourites’.
3.) Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars
I know the point of this post is characters I love, but omg do I love Ahsoka! Her development is some top tier writing, and she’s the first strong female lead I ever remember recognising in Star Wars.
4.) Dr James Wilson from House MD
I relate to Wilson more than I should. He cares so much it gets him hurt, he’s the eternal optimist, and, he sees the good in people even when it’s not there. He’s also self sacrificing, relentless, and occasionally, a complete dumbass. (I’m also in love with Robert Sean Leonard so that definitely helps).
5.) Chin Ho Kelly from Hawaii Five O
I don’t have much to say about this one. He’s cool. He rides a motorcycle and has a shotgun. Daniel Dae Kim is gorgeous. Chin Ho is just a cool guy. (He’s also complex but I fear I am starting to sound like a broken record).
6.) Amy Santiago from Brooklyn Nine Nine
This is another case of James Wilson. I have changed a lot since then but mannn if I wasn’t an Amy in University! (Wanted to be a Rosa, was absolutely an Amy) Honestly though, it was nice to see a Type A, more than likely neurodivergent, but still strong and respected female lead. She is rarely the butt of the joke and I appreciate that about B99.
7.) Anna from Frozen
I know this makes me look like a Disney Adult but it’s so nice to see a kind, emotionally available, independent woman, in a loving and equal relationship, in popular media. She also deals with heavy grief in a way that both hurts and heals me.
8.) Ice Bear from We Bare Bears
I love this show. It is my background comfort show and Ice Bear is just the best. Nothing more to it than that.
9.) Sara Lance from Arrow
Okay so I ran a Thea Queen fan account when I was a teen, but Sara Lance was the first queer woman I ever saw on TV and it changed my life. I told my friends about my girlfriend (at the time) because of her. She made me feel seen when there was very little queer pop culture rep.
10.) Leonard Snart from The Flash
Ending in a cyclical manner - with a white haired, morally grey, traumatised, soft-for-the-right-person, queer thief. I am a woman of simple, and apparently identical tastes.
I’m tagging @mushy6902 @tatterings @sunserenade @bearhugsandshrugs @megs-98 @bloodlessbhaalbabe @azaani-art @novarunestone @minibabymel @weatherbane3 only if you all want to though! 😁💕

Raza Jaffrey as Dr. Neal Hudson, an ER attending physician. A British-Indian former surgeon, his approach is quieter and more people-oriented, than his mentor Dr. Rorish. He connected with Christa during her first year of residency. In "Hail Mary", Hudson becomes a surgical attending, and is once again assigned to the ER (season 1).[7][8]
Bonnie Somerville as Dr. Christa Lorenson, a mature first-year resident. She was married with a son who died of brain cancer. Her experience and her divorce inspired her to attend medical school (season 1).[7]
Melanie Chandra as Dr. Malaya Pineda, a first-year resident (seasons 1–2). She went to medical school and did her internship at Angels Memorial, and is more familiar with the ER. She is a lesbian, who was once involved with a resident when she was a medical student.
William Allen Young as Dr. Rollie Guthrie, an ER attending physician with a very nurturing style; he takes Angus under his wing in his first days in the ER. Guthrie's wife committed suicide, a death that strained his relationship with his son, a surgeon. During season 2, Guthrie is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and undergoes corrective neurological surgery to delay the onset of symptoms. Guthrie had a daughter who died from carbon monoxide poisoning while Guthrie tried to save his son from a similar death.
Harry Ford as Dr. Angus Leighton, a first-year resident. His father is on the hospital board. He feels overshadowed by that and by the achievements of his older brother, a former resident, but slowly grows in confidence. In his second year he is encouraged to transfer and become a surgical resident.
Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dr. Mario Savetti, a first-year resident. He grew up poor and sees emergency medicine as his way out. He worked as a bartender before medical school.
Luis Guzmán as Jesse Salander, known as "Mama". A senior nurse who manages the residents, Jesse is tough but caring and supportive of the students. He and Dr. Rorish have a long-term, close friendship.
Boris Kodjoe as Dr. Will Campbell, Chief of Surgery. In season 2 he is assigned as the new Chief of the combined Surgery and Emergency medicine department in order to save costs, causing strife between him and Rorish. Campbell has a disabled daughter (season 2–3; recurring in season 1).
Jillian Murray as Dr. Heather Pinkney, a surgical resident who becomes involved with Mario.(season 2; recurring in season 1). He quickly ends it when he hears about her side relationship with Dr. Campbell. She gets in further trouble when it's revealed she's providing Angus with Adderall. When confronted by Campbell, she threatens to turn their past relationship into a sexual harassment case.
Noah Gray-Cabey as Elliot Dixon, a first-year resident in the ER (season 2-3).
Emily Tyra as Noa Kean, an ER resident and former dancer. She begins a relationship with Dr. Mario Savetti (season 3; recurring season 2)
Emily Alyn Lind as Ariel Braeden (season 3; guest seasons 1–2)
Shiri Appleby as Dr. Carla Niven, a former resident at Angels Memorial and Malaya's ex-girlfriend. She is diagnosed with leukemia while pregnant, and refuses treatment not wanting to harm the baby.
Christina Vidal as Dr. Gina Perello, the replacement Director of the Emergency Department at Angels Memorial, who takes over when Dr. Taylor is put on leave.
Gabrielle Carteris as Amy Wolowitz, R.N., a nurse in the Emergency Department.
Meagan Good as Dr. Grace Adams, returns to the ER after volunteering in Haiti. She is Dr. Neal Hudson's ex-girlfriend.
Season 2[edit]
Nafessa Williams as Charlotte Piel, a new first-year resident in the ER who was formerly a popular teenaged actress.
Kathleen Rose Perkins as Dr. Amanda Nolan, a psychiatrist at the hospital.
Season 3[edit]
Tyler Perez as Diego Avila, son of a hospital board member and a first-year resident. He drives the staff and patients crazy by filming them to make a documentary about the Angels ER.
Alex Lange as Max, a young cancer patient with whom Ariel strikes up a friendship, which turns into young love.
Rosewood
Morris Chestnut as Dr. Beaumont Darius Rosewood, Jr.[6]
Jaina Lee Ortiz as Det. Annalise Villa[6]
Gabrielle Dennis as Pippy Rosewood, Beaumont's sister[6]

A hot comb (also known as a straightening comb or pressing comb) is a metal comb that is used to straighten moderate or coarse hair and create a smoother hair texture. A hot comb is heated and used to straighten the hair from the roots. It can be placed directly on the source of heat or it may be electrically heated.
History
The hot comb was an invention developed in France as a way for women with coarse curly hair to achieve a fine straight look traditionally modeled by historical Egyptian women.
Parisian Francois Marcel Grateau is said to have revolutionized hair styling when he invented and introduced heated irons to curl and wave his customers' hair in France in 1872. His Marcel Wave remained fashionable for many decades. Britain's Science and Society Library credits L. Pelleray of Paris with manufacturing the heated irons in the 1870s. An example of an 1890s version of Pelleray's curling iron is housed at the Chudnow Museum in Milwaukee.
Elroy J. Duncan is believed to have invented and manufactured the first hot comb or heated metal straightening comb in America.[citation needed] Sometimes the device is called a "pressing comb." During the late 19th century, Dr. Scott's Electric Curler was advertised in several publications including the 1886 Bloomingdale's catalog[6] and in the June 1889 issue of Lippincott's Magazine[7] Marketed to men to groom beards and moustaches, the rosewood-handled device also promised women the ability to imitate the "loose and fluffy" hairstyles of actress Lillie Langtry and opera singer Adelina Patti, popular white entertainers of the era.
Mme. Baum's Hair Emporium, a store on Eighth Avenue in New York with a large clientele composed mostly of African American women, advertised Mme. Baum's "entirely new and improved" straightening comb in 1912. In May and June 1914, other Mme. Baum advertisements claimed that she now had a "shampoo dryer and hair straightening comb," said to have been patented on April 1, 1914. U.S. Patent 1,096,666 for a heated "hair drying" comb – but not a hair straightening comb – is credited to Emilia Baum and was granted on May 12, 1914.
In May 1915, the Humania Hair Company of New York marketed a "straightening comb made of solid brass" for 89 cents. That same month, Wolf Brothers of Indianapolis advertised its hair straightening comb and alcohol heater comb for $1.00. The La Creole Company of Louisville claimed to have invented a self-heating comb that required no external flame. In September 1915, J. E. Laing, owner of Laing's Hair Dressing Parlor in Kansas City, Kansas claimed to have invented the "king of all straighteners" with a 3/4 inch wide, 9 1/2 inches long comb that also had a reversible handle to accommodate use with either the left or right hand. Indol Laboratories, owned by Bernia Austin in Harlem, offered a steel magnetic comb for $5.00 in November 1916.
Walter Sammons of Philadelphia filed an application for Patent No. 1,362,823 on April 9, 1920. The patent was granted on December 21, 1920. Poro Company founder Annie Malone has been credited by some sources with receiving the first patent for this tool in that same year but the Official Gazette of the U. S. Patent Office does not list her as a holder of a hot comb patent in 1920.
The Patent Office Gazette of May 16, 1922, however, includes Annie M. Malone of St. Louis in a list of patentees of designs as being granted Patent No. 60,962 for "sealing tape," which Chajuana V. Trawick describes in a December 2011 doctoral dissertation as an ornamental tape used to "secure the closure of the box lid of Poro products" to prevent others from selling products in packages made to look like Poro products.
Hair care entrepreneur Madam C. J. Walker never claimed to have invented the hot comb, though often has been inaccurately credited with the invention and with modifying the spacing of the teeth, but there is no evidence or documentation to support that assertion. During the 1910s, Walker obtained her combs from different suppliers, including Louisa B. Cason of Cincinnati, Ohio, who eventually filed patent application 1,413,255 on February 17, 1921 for a comb Cason had developed some years earlier. The patent was granted on April 18, 1922 though Cason had been producing the combs for many years without a patent.
Potential consequences
It is not uncommon to burn and damage hair when using a traditional hot comb. A hot comb is often heated to over 65 degrees Celsius (149 degrees Fahrenheit), therefore if not careful severe burns and scarring can occur.
The hot petrolatum used with the iron was thought to cause a chronic inflammation around the upper segment of the hair follicle leading to degeneration of the external root sheath.
In 1992, a hot comb alopecia study was conducted, and it was discovered that there was a poor correlation between the usage of a hot comb and the onset and progression of disease. The study concludes that the term follicular degeneration syndrome (FDS) is proposed for this clinically and histologically distinct form of scarring alopecia.
Hot comb alopecia and follicular degeneration syndrome are irreversible alopecia of the scalp that was believed to occur in people who straighten their hair with hot combs, but this idea was later debunked.

Write a Better Movie or TV Show than the One You're Watching!
Why are you wasting your time watching somebody else's scripted drama when you can write your own.
Imagine a world where you aren't just a viewer but the director, producer and the writer, shaping the story line with every decision.
It can be about medicine and you can rewrite Dr Zhivago or Grey's Anatomy.
Make it about cops and write your own version of Law & Order or NYPD Blue.
Do you prefer secret agents? 007, Jason Bourne, Annie Walker and Evelyn Salt now have a new path to follow. In the PC Visual Novel of your choice.
Like one of my favorite PC games about organized crime figures. You can rub elbows with Benny the Chief, Albert the Barber and Frankie Blue Eyes. The Sopranos, Untouchables and Peaky Blinders have nothing on you.
Welcome to the realm of "The Commission 1920," a PC game that isn't just a game, it's your canvas to write the next Amazon Original TV series.
"The Commission 1920" places you at the heart of a Prohibition-era setting, where you become a part of the criminal underworld.
Your choices influence the course of the game, which is the same thing as writing a plot for each episode. With each decision, you script the fate of your character and the world around them.
Develop your characters exactly the same way that a writer shapes the characters on a show. "The Commission 1920" allows you to define your hero’s path.
Will they be a ruthless mob boss or a cunning negotiator? A public figure or operate from the shadows?
The game unfolds like a series, with each mission or task resembling an episode.
Every choice shapes their personality, alliances, and enemies. Driving you toward the next episode ending cliffhanger.
The tension and drama escalate, mirroring the pacing of a TV series, keeping you ready to binge write/watch the next installment.
You've got a virtual world with ethical choices that carry significant weight. Does that sound like any show you've watched or should I say every show you've watched?
Every decision alters relationships and impacts the storyline.
Decide the fate of a rival or choose between loyalty and personal gain, the consequences echo throughout the game/season 1.
Wake up your imagination when you take a deep dive into the visuals and atmosphere. The architecture and costumes. Hear the soundtrack. Immerse yourself in the era and taste the flavor.
Playing "The Commission 1920" isn't just about completing missions; it's about weaving your own intense, episodic TV series.
Do you build and expand your criminal empire by any means necessary? Everyone knows violence is bad for business but sometimes there's no way around it. You’ll need to protect yourself by putting cops, judges and politicians on the payroll. Can you trust them? Maybe you won’t know until season 2.
So many visual novel adventures to choose from. So many scenes to be played. So many episodes to be written.
Because remember, you're not just playing a game, you're taking a journey into the director's chair of your own thrilling drama.
When you describe this rush to your coworkers they’ll want to know what channel it’s on.
Now go ahead and get started on the speech for when you accept the Emmy.
