Sometines, we aren't who we are supposed to be because of others...
Do you want to know what makes us different? It's not only the color of our skin. It's not only our race. It's not only our ethnicity or our culture. Can those influence us and possibly our thoughts or feelings of others? Most likely, but they shouldn't. Those arent reason to hate or judge someone. Our differences should be based on our minds and how we think. Our mind is what convinces us to act a certain way towards others. Whether it's self convincing or someone else convincing us. Let our experiences help guide us if anything, and that alone isn't definite because not all people who act or look similar think the same. Especially when it comes to acting with hate, greed, or selfishness. You are what you feel or think, and what you may be convinced of really affects how you feel because of your thinking. The one thing that we all have in common is that we are all UNIQUE. No two people are the same. Everyone's experiences vary as well as our interactions. So don't judge a culture, a race, or a group of people because of, let's say, someone's actions. Dont tie it into the culture or religion. Although it may be an influence on them, think outside the box. There are many who want to help change that negative behavior and that way of acting or thinking that a lot of us display. This is all over the country, all over the world really. It's an example we ALL need to set for each other and especially our younger generations. No one defines you. You do though. Let's help make a difference for the better. Acting like the bad, whether through revenge or frustration, makes you like those individuals spreading hatred. We are better than that. No matter who you are or where you're from. Maybe it's easier said than done, but we gotta try. Know that having fear puts us on the defense. Whoever you are fearing might be on the defense themselves because they fear for themselves. Understand we have nothing to fear but fear itself...

I have another rant :3
So before I start this rant, I want to start off by saying, I love the pokemon Fandom it's one of the most chill and calm Fandoms I have been in, in a long time but as you know no Fandom is perfect. Every Fandom has their fair share of announce and immature behavior, and what really gets me annoyed are the people in this Fandom that judge or make others feel like crap because their favorite pokemon or region is from 1-4
Now I know its mostly 1-2 but I've seen people get mad if your favorite pokemon is also from gen 3 or 4. And it's usually something like 'oh your favorite gen is 2? That's because it was probably your first game' or 'oh you only like that pokemon because it's nostalgic' or my favorite comment 'Eww your nostalgia is showing'
Like when did it become an issue to others when someone's favorite pokemon or region is from the old games. Most the time it's not in fact nostalgic for us, its because this pokemon or region is special to us in a way we can't explain to you, and stop judging people because their opinions don't match with your own. I've seen so may people do favorite list of like Legendaries and other things and God forbid if they rank a legendary from the older games higher up on their list then a newer legendary, these people legit get mad and comment mean things.
Like calm down dude people are allowed to like the older stuff and surprise but it doesn't always have to be about nostalgia, sometimes people like what they like and your shitty comments aren't going to change their mind.
I used to be so afraid to tell someone who my favorite pokemon was and what my favorite gen and region were because I knew they would get pissed but not no more, now I don't care, so if your one of those people who get bullied for liking the older stuff over the new then don't let them make you feel bad, your favorites have a special meaning to you and that's that, there is nothing wrong with your choices ^_^ 🥰 Now I'll share some of my favorites with everyone and feel free to share yours too! There is no judgment on my page
Favorite pokemon: Jolteon
Favorite gen: 3
Favorite region: Hoenn
Favorite Champions: Steven and Wallace
Favorite legendary: Rayquaza and Lugia
Favorite mythical: Mew
Favorite city: Sootopolis
Favorite type: Dark, dragon, and electric
Favorite gymleader: Wallace and Morty

I wore jeans and a light grey shirt to my first pride.
I was kicked out six days earlier and it was the nicest shirt I owned at the time.
Somethings the queer community does that I will never understand as a queer person:
1) why people in the community invalidate other peoples sexualities ex: bi/pan and aspec. Yall know we’re apart of the acronym right?
2) why some folks want “LBG without the T” congrats idiots. You have trans black women to thank for most of your rights today
3) why queer people “assign sexualities” to other queer people (usually aspec) or straight people who “don’t act straight” like ??? A) the closet is a closet for a reason. Some people aren’t comfortable or don’t feel safe coming out and B) don’t invalidate someone’s identity or label?? It’s what’s working for them at the time they’re discovering them self???
4) hate on queer people who may not be “loud and proud at pride” and vise versa. Like it’s their pride. Let them display it how they want as long as it isn’t hurting anyone else. I literally wore jeans and a black button up to my first pride (I’m just not into loud colors)
I’ll probably add more later idk these are the things that are currently in my mind this pride month.

We can't please everyone, but the best we can do is try with good intentions..
As a leader, I was for 7 to 8 years in my position, I only hoped to set an example for my team, for my peers, for my leaders. Never once did I feel it would be acceptable to make fun of anyone, regardless of what others thought of them because of a metric or a number. It was mostly about their intentions towards the company but mainly towards the customers they were servixing. To join in poking fun or laughing alongside insults towards certain individuals sets a perfect example of what the intentions are towards the belief they're not good enough.
I dealt with those individuals personally and did my part to show them they have potential regardless of their past experiences with training or lack of ability to learn based on reading for example. A lot of us are hands on. Me included. Some may have hurt the metric to help me as an employee in my position to succeed but what was more important to me was given anyone struggling the opportunity to display that potential by becoming the guidance they needed to become successful in the job they were hired into and promote themselves from there. My failures were looked at as me being too or giving too many chances to my employees. I can almost gairantee they worked harder because of the opportunity given to them.
I see leaders way above my pay grade and responsibilities acting a fool and not showing ownership for their insults, actions, and intentions. My success, our success, never was made about our differences. It was about coming together, regardless of our differences, and making it work for our team(s) and the success of our office in turn our company. As simple as that. But yet that can't be the case for those who support this guy running for president and want to join the insults and disrespect of others.
I don't want to make this about me but I need everyone to understand why it is important to work together, even though what people think of you, hurts you. In my last year in the company, the team I led and the office I led as a temporary manager, became the number 1 commercial team in dade and Broward and the number 1 office in dade and Broward. Not for me to take credit for the success but we were all able to come together and focus. Was it based on the trust or the treatment of the leaders in that office? Only those employees can answer that. But in the end, it wasn't good enough because of how upper management saw me. An image was painted because I wasn't selfish and the employees matter.
I was about the numbers but I was more about making sure my employees were respected as well as them respecting others. FIRING PEOPLE is not the answer like the former president wants to claim. Calling our opponents names and insulting them is not supposed to help them win an election or a debate. Yet his supporters want to act like him and talk like him and turn the lies he shares with all of us as truths for most to believe because it came out of his mouth.
I can share numbers, newspaper clippings, and data from resources, and it still won't be enough for the majority of MAGA. I'm sorry it seems like I'm picking on you MAGA, but you are on a different level than Republicans. I speak about my time in a leadership role to help compare how we are acting to how many were acting within the workforce. I'm sorry a lot of you don't see that Biden or Kamala didn't fix what needed fixing sooner than needed, but even if they did, all this hate going around will still be the main focus. It took me 8 years, 19 total if you will, to became a temporary manager to help get our workplace to the top of rankings as a team out of maybe 10 between 2 counties and as a system out of 10 between 2 counties. It still wasn't good enough, so I understand what Biden and Harris are going through. It's like no matter what they do or try to do, it won't be good enough for a lot of people because they are focused on 1 thing, whatever that may be. I can only relate, and I want others to relate with me instead of judging me or others who believe in Harris and/or Biden vs. Trump, especially those who worked with me...

'hurt people hurt people' you're saying that once someone's been hurt, all they know how to do is hurt others? Anyone who has been abused is now bound to become an abuser no matter what, because they've gotten hurt? People who are hurt are now brainless hurting machines and can't be expected to do anything else but hurt others?
If any of this was true the victims of abuse would be out there destroying the rest of humanity. Instead we are often exploited, used, retraumatized, stuck in toxic friendships/relationships, all while putting our best efforts into being kind and understanding.
Hurt people hurt people is bullshit. You can get hurt and harm nobody in response. It's what we've been doing for all of our lives. There is nobody too stupid to grasp the concept of not hurting others due to personal suffering. Hurt people hurt people is abusers excuse mantra. Most of us find zero reward in casting harm towards others.

Some things take time. But here's to the iconic pair, headed into 2023 😊
(Highly recommend zooming in on our dear Louis and Lestat if you're on phone, because the texture blurs at phone size. Also uploaded a little detail if that helps!)
