He was put into many homes before eventually deciding to live on his own.

Donnie acted like a serious evil team leader when he lead the Purple Dragons so he would be accepted

No one knew what he actually looked like

When they found out what he looked like, he was treated like garbage until he left again. (MY BABY D:)

He really wants to be a scientist, but the fact that he is a mutant holds his dream from becoming reality, so if he just studies and learns hard enough…maybe it won’t be a dream anymore?

Lore

He was born seconds after his twin brother.

When he was getting his powers removed, Donatello was very interested in the technology they were using and would curiously observe the tech. (He would sometimes go out and try to touch them.)

When he was 2 years old, his arm sliced off by Karai.

For most of the time in hiding (before the Kraang attack) Donnie would suffer from dizziness and nausea. Causing him to not be as active as his twin brother.

Surprisingly, the blood loss also helped him get his abilities back. (And early as well)

He would often accidently control some of the nearest technology and they would help him and his family get through life.

When he was 3 years old, He grew more active surrounding the year in the ship during evacuation. He easily learned the new languages Splinter was teaching the turtles, and Don would often mess with the ship controls when no one is looking.

After the ship attack, he crash landed in Canada where he was discovered by some random old lady who thought he was some animal.

But when she witnessed this “animal” messing with a computer, she freaked out and kicked him out

After a year on the streets, he was discovered by another family and taken in for sympathy purposes

But the two kids in that house chased him out.

For 5 years, he wondered around despite being almost captured, tormented, and even almost dying.

In those years, he was known for stealing stuff. Specifically electronics.

When he turned 10, he made a mech suit to perfectly hide his identity so he wouldn’t be tormented anymore by humans.

He also taught himself english to fit in with the rest of the crowd.

At age 12, he began starting a collection of electronics by stealing them from passerbys.

When he was 13, he found himself starting a small group of thieves who were inspired by his work and wanted to steal like he does.

However, starting this group of thieves caused him to be on the run a lot because he was constantly being chased by this unknown bounty hunter.

When he was 14, the group of thieves (now named The Purple Dragons) decided to settle in New York city because of the amount of resources they can take at their will.

This also means that the bounty hunter will be high on their watch, especially since they have an ally with them now.

At age 15, Donnie finished making mech suits for the rest of the dragons to better the success of their heists and also hide their identities better.

However on the first heist with these new suits, they were interrupted by Leonardo and his ally. With the addition of a 3rd party in a hockey mask?

ROTTMNT SUBNAUTICA AU. Subnautica spoilers under the line.

Here the turts are constantly feral ish bcs they are animals from planet 4546b. They are experiments created by the precursors while finding a cure for the kharaa bacterium. Muagen ooz stuff was a failed vaccine they made. Their first test subject for it was a sea emperor egg which would be raph. This raph is the egg of the old sea emperor you meet in game, who is the splinter of this au.

They find out that the mutagen ooz thing failed and so they instead use it to create warpers and mikey. This mikey is an ampeel but if ampeels were leviathans. He never hatched tho, just kept him as an egg battery.

Next they made leo and don after they succeeded in making a cure. They made them to help study the planet and stuff, and then the sea dragon leviathan destroyed their stuff. Don and leo were unharmed but continued to develop and eventually hatched, escaping to live their lives together and do their best to survive. Don is a ghost leviathan, leo is a reaper.

April is Ryley and befriends all the turts and ends up staying in the planet bcs of this. Leo and don were the hardest to befriend (especially leo) bcs they were the most feral due to them living out in the wild. April manually hatched mikey so they hv the closest bond. They also have triplet youngest siblings named Aleph, Beth, Gimel bcs the other sea emperor eggs. April was also the one to name them. They are also all still humanoid turtles w their mystic powers, they just hv the extra looks and abilities of their subnautica species and they gained mystic powers from birth bcs precursors.

Also leo has portal and warper abilities and mikey is a ball of electricity and energy instead of fire. Mikey constantly generates energy so they have to find and outlet for that or else he’ll overflow w energy and let out a large shockwave and super zoomies ensue. Raph also has the telepathic abilities of sea emperors and everyone loves have piggy back rides on him (especially mikey) also raph and don are much bigger in this au.

They learned about weapons and ninja stuff from April and so don cretaed the weapons for them and now they fight w each ither using them for fun. They arent skilled using them whatsoever and any other turt from other aus would be horrified and how terribly unprofesional they use their weapons. What? Theyre used to fighting without them, survival of the fittest in planet 4546b

ROTTMNT: Intellectuals AU

Kay with the random AU posting (again)

That episode where Raph, Mikey, and Leo become smarter than Don due to hijinks except it’s a whole AU where they were born smarter, with a reverse on ninpo and tech use

Raph, due to being the eldest and strongest, follows Splints into mechanics. Leo adores space (Jupiter Jim) and studies to become an astronaut. Mikey is.. well he’s pretty smart emotionally already so there’s not much difference besides knowing more psychological terms lmao.

Don on the other hand is.. unlucky so to speak. Still a prodigy, but has to work a loooot harder than his brothers. Having lost his passion in tech due to a severe inferiority complex, he’s the only one to pickup a ninpo weapon and explore the world of magic in a hands-on lens. Still loves tech and studies theory, just doesn’t have the motivation.
