Hey everyone, I want to bring your attention to this toxic bg3 anonymous blog someone created. It's not affiliated with the BG3 Fandom Critical Blog (they made a post about it).

The thing that worries me is that the blog owner states that they're not afraid to "name and shame people." I don't even know if this is someone's attempt at calling out people who have annoyed them directly under the guise of an anon confession blog.

This can and will probably lead to harassment. Especially as it is anonymous. The other BG3 critical blog has mentioned that they have been receiving anons from someone calling out specific blogs that they haven't posted out of respect.

This is toxic. I also think (this is a theory) that this blog was created by someone who was recently called out in the BG3 fandom and is extremely bitter about it.

I just want to make sure everyone is aware so they can block it or report it if they want to. Because I can only see this blog being used to harrass certain blogs. It might be a non-issue, but I wanted to spread awareness.

Why do people do things like this?

Edit: I am putting this in the main tags now because after I made this post, the blog owner blocked me. I hadn't tagged the post then, and it had not been up for long. So not only are they creating a space for people to call others out anonymously, but they are potentially blocking those from being called out, so they have no idea what is being said about them.

Another edit: I was told it was gone now, but then someone else sent me an ask saying it is still up. So I'm just going to keep this out there for awareness.

I just came up with an angsty headcanon that when Alexis was fairly young (like around early elementary school), they had a crush on this boy. Their parents had indirectly expressed disapproval of LGBTQ+ people, so they weren’t going to go through with doing anything to express their crush. At least at first. The more uncomfortable their actions make people, the more it emphasizes just how far they’re willing to go. For them, pushing limits is just another day.

They don’t act on impulse. Every move they make is planned, and every risk they take is calculated. They weigh the pros and cons before acting, and they’re always three steps ahead of everyone else. Writing a ruthless character means showing that they’ve already figured out how to win while everyone else is still trying to figure out the rules.

Betrayal is their go-to move when things get tough. Friends, allies, even people who trust them, no one is safe. They’ll turn on anyone if it benefits them. And the best part? They’ll sleep just fine afterward. Show how others react to their betrayals, shocked, hurt, furious, while your ruthless character shrugs it off like, “It had to be done.”
