Listening to me read a chapter from Time To Orbit: Unknown. We're all enjoying Auntie DOOM's Story Quarter-Hour at bedtime. I started recording it at Chapter 14; if anybody would like I can go back and do the first chapters too. They're on the @derinthescarletpescatarian fan discord, but I'm happy to put them anywhere handy.

Stupid little headcanon.

As Nyx gets older the people in his life slowly start to come to a realization.

Nyx is not like Rhysand, most certainly not. He gets into arguments with his father daily, he refuses to train at the Illyrian camps and doesn't approve of fighting to kill. He doesn't have the snarky, relaxed, flirtatious personality Rhysand has. In fact, he can be quite cold and very sharp. He has a quick wit and fiery tongue, one could say he has a... forked tongue.

He is nothing like Feyre either. He is not outgoing or highly adventurous, all of his soft spots are carefully concealed. He prefers books to painting or going to meetings. And he prefers tasteful ballroom dancing to going out to Rita's and partying.

Nyx is not Feyre or Rhysand.

Nyx is like Nesta.

stuck in LGA waiting for a thrice-delayed flight to montreal and i'm sure i look very productive on my work laptop to the coworker i randomly met here, but she doesn't know i'm writing fanfiction

Sat 5th October

Up early today to come look after my brother in law's pups. Took them for a walk (it was carnage I had just untangled them in this photo)

Got my nails done for my friend's wedding on Thursday (dress code is all black, our bridesmaid dresses are black with embroidered flowers and greenery they are so fucking cool)

Came home to see my mams and Nanna Mary who had come to visit Maggie

Went back and walked the pups again in the sunshine. Turned my head for all of two seconds to get a poop bag and when I looked back Dusty had his head under Daisy's ass while she was shitting. And he's looking at me with shit on his head like auntie Nic what is happening

I howled and took photos before I cleaned him up obvs. Took them home and bathed him

Brought their laundry in, tidied up a bit then snuggled down and read my book until brother and sister in law got home.

Came home and snuggled with my own baby

She looked so sweet but she's so unphotogenic it's ridiculous. We all cuddled like this for a good 30 mins. Now time for bath & bed 😴

Influx of anti activity in the Odazai tag recently... Wish the youth of this day was taught that it's their own responsibility to avoid things they don't like. But all these incendiary posts, as if they're expecting us odazai shippers go out of our way to harass them for not liking what we do? I have better things to do with my time, kiddos. Their victim complex is so blatant, I hope they can learn to get out of that mindset and into a healthier one.

Also, tumblr search function is broken as usual, so even if they don't tag the ship directly it still shows up in the search results, sigh. Super job, tumblr. Really amazing.
