This is a genuine question, why do you think that Hawks’s appearance in the vestige realm is bad story wise?
Ok this is probably my bad for verbally vomiting over these leaks. I’ve had some time to calm down so I think I can put it into words now
I don’t think his appearance is bad story-wise. Yet.
It feels more like.. it could potentially be bad. Though there’s no way of knowing until MHA ends.
First fear: he’s dead.
A little weird to me that he’s able to talk and has visible pupils while nobody else does. While it’s possible AFO’s stolen quirk vestiges operate differently than OFA’s. Or maybe it’s just special main character privileges. We haven’t seen Ragdoll yet, either. If Hawks is dead and this is the last moments we get of him. I think I would die. I feel like I don’t need to get into why this would suck.
:readmore:
While I think people are pretty harsh whenever Hori does sudden tonal shifts (COUGH COUGH MIRIO MOONING, which I will defend until the day I die.) I just felt like it was a wild choice to have him show up big-dicked out of nowhere, especially while he’s bleeding out a field facing his own hubris. It was definitely funny, and nice to see him not dying. And yeah, of course Keigo would charismatically get all those vestiges to turn on AFO. Speaking of, curious as to why the vestiges didn’t rebel while AFO was fighting All Might..
But MHA is wrapping up and there’s literal infinite possibilities as to what could be focused on/addressed at any given moment. And while obviously Hori hasn’t forgotten about this particular side plot (weird how people will say that whenever the perspective changes for longer than 2 chapters) I am anxious about this loser. There’s a deep ingrained fear that a lot of things that could be addressed but haven’t, will never be. He isn’t the main character (but FUCK does he get treated like one.) And because I’ve grown to focus solely on this character, I have a list of unrealistic expectations. But he’s had a massive impact on the story. I mean, HES STILL RELEVANT. Which is more than I can say about my other favourites from when I started the series back in 2017.
GOD THATS A LOT OF TEXT. Anyways. I’m probably wrong. I hope I am.

okay i have a theory(no its not a cry for help)
So, in this last scene:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ron says she will have 60 seconds to read the script meaning everything Reagan said is in the window of suggestibility.
Tumblr media
And she reads the script to create the identity they are going for but, then she starts talking:
Tumblr media
So that also goes into Ron's head right? What if he starts wondering about the person that searched for thousands of lifetimes to make him happy?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What if he starts wondering who that little voice in his mind is or that sentence without a voice belongs to?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What if he can't stop thinking about that person who's gonna miss him,
Tumblr media
And he'd miss too if it were possible.
And it would be so fucking painful to just remembering but actually not remembering at all. Like trying to remember a word but not being able to form it in your head or like knowing where your step is going to land but then stepping on a stair and so, stepping into a space; falling down briefly but still falling. Feeling that float-y feel of a fall and landing on the familiar ground; feeling the little sound inside and coming back to the reality.
That kind of an annoying feeling that comes and goes. And when he can't handle it anymore, can't handle not knowing; he tries to reach for it, search for it, tries to recognise it, name it and find it...
... does this make sense is this how memory erasing works JWEBKEBRKF I DONT KNOW AND I DONT CARE!!!

tubbo thoughts cause his recent leadership is absolutely something that i want to talk about
tubbo was the soulfire leader in purgatory 1 and the leader in of the goose gang in purg 2. his experience in purgatory 1 esp with how in some instances his members did not listen to him changed how he approaches leadership. tubbo was a good leader but because of personality and like moral and decision making conflicts, he never got full respect until the coach moment. his coach mentality that he started in the flag event in p1 really shows like a shift in his character that continues in p2.
in p2, he becomes much more comfortable with leading people and easily falls into the leadership role in comparison to the adjustment period with soulfire. he makes plans and his team follows easily and esp with goose gang, it is a full on like found family in itself. and even if they knew they were losing on day 4, they went out with full control of their narrative. they got the chainsaws out and raided bases. similar to the flag event of p1, this is what i feel like is another shift in tubbo's relationship with leadership cause he now feels an element of freedom in a sense, just letting everything go. but he still is grounded and stubborn enough as "he cant end on a loss"
now looking at the events that happened today with @v@ and dapper and bbh, he was not in a real leadership role when t=he confronted @v@ with bad but was absolutely still in purgatory mode as noted with the chainsaw in hand and the inclination to just kill forever. when bad gets put in prison and tubbo gathers the online eggs, thats where you can see the effects that purgatory and his experience with leadership pull through. he keeps everyone together, making sure that no one gets left behind, ensures that sunny stays in the ROM, and absolutely tracks down any possible location where dapper can be for 4 hours. it is so similar to how he was searching for bases during purgatory 2, he was pulling out all the tricks like cave layers, analyzing the photos, even thinking about the login name visibility which im 90% he became aware of cause of purgatory 2 and him trying to track down cpk.
and like he is still so scared. he was absolutely not the best person to emotionally handle the fear that ramon, pomme, and sunny were feeling when he told them that dapper was kidnapped but he made do with what he had. because he had to keep going, he had to lead the team in any way possible. sure its not the healthiest mindset but he wasn't given that pleasure in purgatory 1 or 2. stakes are high, he needs a win.
whether it is the day's contracts, a 1v1 pvp battle, the amount of damage to an egg statue or a location of a base, tubbo cannot end on a loss.

I think I finally understand why Bloodweave hits me so hard and why I love it so much… them being sort of narratively paired together, aside.
Gale is just a relatively normal looking dude. Astarion is like a fantasy poster child. I love their banters, like Astarion saying he enjoys their walks together, and Gale saying “count me in! I’m enjoying chaos now!” when Astarion says he wants to get up to some good ol’ DEBAUCHERY. It’s like. The perfect balance of Astarion’s influence on Gale with Gale being the most just like. Loving kind guy that Astarion needs.

When Lena confronts Eddie in Malfunction, because Eddie says, "I thought we were friends," and Lena is like "I know all this shit you're going through, like your dead wife and your kid, and you don't even know if I have a cat or not," but this whole time Eddie is hiding what he's going through and how he's feeling from Buck........this is something, right? Something about how he can't bring himself to open up to Buck because he's afraid of what that vulnerability might lead to, versus dumping it all on a near stranger who he doesn't have to worry will actually try to care too much about him.

just something so crazy about it. you spend years of your life chasing after half-written happy endings you know you're not meant to have, but take a chance on anyway. just because you find a penny lying heads-up on the same chilly dusk evening you've found out you're in love with your best friend: luck is telling you against the odds that there will be sprawls of life grown from gravel in the wake of this. only for all those things to fall to the wayside, dried leaves marking the grave of an old-but-not-forgotten dead garden. something or other about how the past fades but never disappears. you try to clear away withered old roses and thorns for a touch of new life and get so wrapped up in the scent of flora that you don't notice things have never really changed; not until you start to pay attention to the crunch of dead leaves under your feet under the summer sun.

lord its so dark in here the sahara desert of tsaritsa content you are like a shining oasis. your characterisation of her compels me & mihoyo would be hard pressed to top it imo.!! caaaaan i humbly request yr thoughts on her first meeting w a reader of any kind, or maybe even multiple kinds (sagau, sagau god au, isekai, etc) if you so desire...
it really is like a desert here. being the fan of a character we aren't getting until the last damn nation is driving me up a wall but i will persevere bc if nothing else i support morally bankrupt women in media. we r in a severe drought over here but i do my best. unfortunately nothing i say is ever coherent so pull out your translation notes its abt 2 be messy
also this got out of hand but thats bc first meetings w the tsaritsa are tricky to write + a LOT of her characterization lies in deeper exploration then just surface level yknow...NOT A DIG AT YOU this is just my excuse for rambling. gently pats the tsaritsa she can hold so much complexity i do not have the word count to delve into it completely :]
gonna talk cult au for a bit here though because that's 99% of my content. and honestly? she thrives in sub au's of the cult au like villain au + imposter au. it's basically made for her. i mean, early days, the imposter au had been going around for a little while but one of the first few ideas was the Fatui taking reader in so like. it kinda technically actually was. pretty sure cult au Tsaritsa popped up because of the imposter au. a lot of it's writers kinda left though which. man am i getting old or.
anyway.
there isn't much of a chance her first impression is all that positive. at best it's usually neutral, imo, but rarely if ever positive. specifically because i view the Tsaritsa as someone who isn't as fanatical as most of the acolytes typically are towards the creator. she's not exactly going to worship the ground you walk on unlike a certain geo lizard. which is partially why i think she thrives in the sub au's i mentioned.
imposter au, for example. she meets you at your lowest. there's no gaudy extravagance or pampering from the acolytes waiting for you because your own acolytes have turned on you. for all intents and purposes you aren't a "god" at all. which is why i don't think she meshes well with normal cult au reader. the Fatui are made up of outcasts, basically, and imposter au slots right in just perfectly. you're weak, at your lowest, when you meet the Fatui in the imposter au. and the Fatui can help you, too.
a mutual exchange, really. the Tsaritsa sees a tool she can use to one up the rest of the nations and especially Archons, and she has no qualms about you using her and the Fatui in turn. you both want something out of it, after all. whether you just want to be safe from the rest of the acolytes, or you want revenge, or whatever else..she'll give you the power to fulfill it, and she gains the strongest piece on the chessboard when all is said and done.
the best way i can describe the first meeting is "practical", i suppose. she sees an opportunity in you. the ultimate gamble. because if she "saves" you, and you dont trust anyone else because they tried to kill you, well..she holds all the cards, doesn't she?
but the Tsaritsa, imo, is just as capable of being just as fanatical towards you as anyone else. she just won't worship you as the creator. but as yourself? clawing your way back to your divine power and taking back what belongs to you? the Tsaritsa is, to me, a character who's character flourishes in long-term fics more because she changes a LOT between "just met reader" and after having been with reader for some time. she's practically apathetic at the beginning but a lot of her character, in my characterization, shines through LONG after the first meeting.
#asks#Anonymous#sagau#tsaritsa#like. am i explaining this coherently?? first meetings r GOOD and i could go on a tangent of like. first meetings w zl and make it work#but first meetings w the tsaritsa is like. you just cooked a 5 course meal. took one bite. called it a day.#so much of my characterization lies in the “after” of the first meeting#because her first meetings are generally the same. she's apathetic at best!! she does not gaf abt the creator in the SLIGHTEST#but show that you are more then the creator? that you do not cling to the title like a shield? that you do not rely on it?#youve got the worst person youve ever known ready to kill a man for you.#tsaritsa is very like. EXTREMELY hard to earn the trust of but when you do she will kill someone for you no hesitation no question#which is why she works SO WELL in villain au and imposter au!!!!!!!!!#esp if theres a fake “creator” calling you the imposter. she hates their ass and was .5 seconds from dethroning them anyway#you just made it 10x easier#also cant do just first meetings bc i am incapable of not shoving themes of love into every fic w her SORRY#tsaritsa going on a full multiple month long mental breakdown bc she is not in love with you but she would destroy everything for u..#(shes in denial)#tsaritsa and complex themes of love and what it means for the god of love to be incapable of feeling it + what it means when reader shows u#LIKE UGHHHHHH okay. i guess ill write another tsaritsa fic and put it in my vault#aka my drafts#i hold so many fics hostage there its crazy#this answered like 0 of ur questions sorry i see tsaritsa and black out and this happens#i just think first meetings dont let her character really come thru but my response got out of hand so uhhhhh everyone look away. please#putting tape over my mouth now so i shut up before this gets worse#basically tsaritsa gravitates more towards outcast reader rather then one who has already become accustomed to the adoration of the acolyte#does that make sense........#i havent slept in forever and im running on nothing but spite and dreams atp dont expect coherency when it comes 2 the tsaritsa from me#head in hands someone please stop me i keep rambling abt the tsaritsa it makes me go NUTS#lays down. explodes

i don’t know what it is about the rise animation/voice acting that’s like. a real brain scratcher for me, but two moments that stick out to me is in ‘the clothes don’t make the turtle’ when leo makes his slow realisation face and then also when splinter tells leo that big mama is his ex. like. if those moments could be created into physical objects they’d be the equivalent to a stim toy to me

Ok it's horse time
Rossetians have very nimble human-like hands, and are good at precise control of their drawing utensils. They tend to focus more on anatomy and get closer to realism, but they also like simplification and exaggeration from time to time, especially in logos (or if they dont spend their time practicing drawing people)
Speaking of that I should probably say that the drawings featured in the other posts and this one are mostly just a general view of their style, what any old guy could draw for you, not really a representation of their artists/people who dedicate all their time to art. Also just some species prefer to stay abstract, exaggerated, and simplified since that’s their culture. Anyway
Rossetians have family structures very similar to humans, composed of one/two adults and their kids (blood or adopted). Individual living spaces are occupied by only this direct circle, called a faction, with no extended family because , like humans, the kids leave home to live somewhere else. However, these factions are still considered part of the greater ‘house’ which is made up of all the kids (scions) of the parents/heads of house and their families. For a normal family, the most skilled provider is the one who has the say over what their kids do. However, there is actually a more esteemed legal title of “head of house” that is given through an important scientific or societal contribution they’ve made. The appointment happens in two parts, the proposal and the actual vote on whether to make them a head (this vote comes from within their own house and from the other houses at large,) so, there’s families with no head title and families with it, but the only difference is the ones with the title have more influence outside of their one job/house and more say in the government.
. (Ideally, this means the smartest have the most power, but popularity also has influence on whether they get voted for and some people’s needs aren’t always seen…) This also means that an original head of house can be usurped by their children or someone else if they are outdone. New inventions and advancements in infrastructure or medicine are fair game to make you a head, but no matter what your contribution is your influence depends on where the members of your house are (so your son or daughter can tell you no on getting a new building to live in if they invented a better X-ray machine than you. )
Heads of house have say over many of the actions of their scions (such as approval of job appointment, marriage, and property buying/building) because they are considered the most skilled and knowledgeable. It’s basically like of even as an adult you had to ask your grandparents and your parents if you wanted to move somewhere or get something. Through this, Heads are the equivalent of government officials and lead society through the reaches of their house. They can also appoint proxies from their own house to do their work and work with other houses.).

so hey guys i finished dungeon meshi yesterday and i'm still thinking about it
#ria.txt#i spoiled myself so at first i was like 'this is bonkers wtf are they doing in those last few chapters?????'#but then it was like. yeah. i see#love those ch when it's just clearly putting the squad into Situations#also. izutsumi#what i really liked was how tightly the protagonist and the deuteragonist were wound up in the overall themes#the plot the themes the conflict the characters it was very neatly connected#hence i am also now accidentally invested in whatever going on between laios and marcille#not just platonic not romantic not enemies i just think they work well tgt and deeply care for each other its great watching them develop#it's the leader + most trusted advisor / anxious girlfailure + the annoying freak she's somehow attached to vibes#haha that rabbit chapter with marcille. hahha i was like what the fuck man. it was funny and then boom whump [tears streaming down my face]#those shapeshifter chs were sooo much fun esp seeing other chara's perceptions of each other. stealing that#the changeling ones were great too elf senshi is the fucking funniest he looks sooooooo unserious#marcille's evolving perception with death starting with saving falin and saving the squad and her nightmares of outliving everyone-#-and her dad and her 'temper tantrum' and UGH when at the end she said she was fine with falin not coming back.... WAAA. OUGH.#i think dunmeshi handled the trope of 'prophecy of chosen one becoming king' pretty well and it makes sense why laios is the protag#the worldbuilding is so thoughtful as well i liked seeing different characters with different worldviews interact#very solid and well rounded series wooo#the main 4 has such a fun dynamic together#anyways. dunmeshi au.....#more like borrowing the worldbuilding bc charas are too nuanced for a one to one comparison#ren is like some prince of his own species but he's like 34th in line and no one cares about him so he fucks off to eat monsters#which is why he's both snobbish AND a total freak when it comes to his food taste#false is originally in for the money from ren and plans to scam him but unfortunately the cringefail swag captures her#martyn is Obnoxiously Clueless and thinks he's smart but he's not. he's resourceful but also pathetic and crazy#stress cant cook but she thinks she does so everyone goes (≖_≖ ) when she picks up a pot. they delegate her to killing and chopping duty#the mvp is iskall who keeps on saving everyone's asses and somehow has resources for everyone#i think ren is actually aware false is going to scam him but he has too much money to spend anyway and he thinks shes cool so he lets her??#and somehow she doesnt take the money and run. and goes back to eating monsters w/ the party. everyone is crazy

“I want to be someone’s stepping stone; I want the memory of me to haunt that person so that I may live through them and be beside them without having to stay. I know that's selfish and cruel, but if the path has already been laid out for me and I have no choice but to die, then I want to at least be able to choose who I die for. And to be honest, I will probably regret this decision when I’m lying there and spitting up my own blood, but at least it will be mine… and I think I can rest easy knowing that.”
Moran, a top student when it comes to all things excluding singing, can best be described as being Anakt Garden’s very own “Thinker.” Often found sitting on the very left edge of the garden’s box, she is willing to lend an ear to those in need.
Alien Stage OC Base made by @shakingparadigm
_____________________________________________________________
Anakt Garden:
Moran is not a person who will intentionally seek other people out, but she does enjoy when others come to her, usually in the form of seeking guidance. This guidance can range from simply helping a fellow student with their class work to teaching others some of what she knows about the Segyein’s entertainment industry, a topic that she is familiar with due to her upbringing.
She likes talking about philosophy, giving general worldly advice, and being a mediator to her fellow classmates, trying her best to be an impartial judge.
Moran also likes “reading” other people’s fortunes as a kind of game. It’s not anything serious; you ask her a specific topic about the future, such as “Am I going to pass the test?” and then give her as much information as you can about your chosen topic in order for her to make an educated guess. If she guesses correctly, you have to give her something, and if she doesn't, then she’ll give something to you. The items are nothing big, just small treasures like a pretty stone from the stream or an Anakt Garden lollipop. Moran also keeps a small collection of things she finds or is given in case others would just like to do general bartering with her; however, she doesn’t hold any real attachment to the things she collects and will usually trade her items away in exchange for short-lived treats such as candy, drinks, or a bubble wand.
Moran gets along fine with the other students, and although she can be pretty blunt at times, to the point of unintentionally seeming rude, she does her best to stay on everyone’s good side. She was raised with many others under her Guardian, so she has always been used to living alongside her fellow humans; however, the experiences were not great, causing her to have trouble telling when others genuinely like her or wish to be her friend. It doesn’t help that it only seems that her classmates come to her when they need something.
______________________________________________________________
Background:
Moran’s Guardian, Rheya, is a well-known and respected theater director with a theatrical troupe composed of the many humans under her, raising them from a young age to be her personal actors. By having her plays consist of an entirely human cast, Rheya is able to push the limits of her plays' theatrics in ways that she simply could not when working with her fellow Segyeins. Her plays are touted for their stories and visual spectacles; however, they can tend to be extremely dangerous for the humans involved, with many sustaining real injuries throughout their performances.
Despite the humans of the troupe referring to Rheya as their "mother,” they do not view one another as family but rather as competition when it comes to gaining their Guardians' affection. Bullying amongst the group is commonplace; if one person is punished, everyone is, which leads to that one individual being viciously humiliated and outcast by their peers and being sent down levels in the troupe’s personal social hierarchy.
(Note: The troupe’s hierarchy is loosely inspired by that of the video game Rule of Rose; I haven’t played it, and it's basically impossible to do so without pirating, but I got the idea from the video analysis of the game by RagnarRox.)
Rheya did not want to stop her storytelling at just theater production; however, she wanted to extend her reach further and saw Alien Stage as a chance to do just that, devising a long-term plan to craft what will hopefully be one of her best stories. She wants the story to go like this: she will choose two of her humans, one to send to Anakt Garden and the other to stay with her, molding him into the next big celebrity pet. The one sent to the garden, Moran, would be used as fodder in order to boost the fame of the other human pet, Adam, under the guise that the reason she trained for and performed in Alien Stage was to gain the other’s attention, subsequently dying in the competition. Upon finding this out, Adam would then go on to perform in the next Alien Stage season after her to avenge the women who loved him, winning in the process.
Rheya doesn’t have any faith that Moran can survive her Alien Stage season, and neither does Moran herself, but while Moran is in the garden, she hopes to find someone who she can truly die for in the competition, someone she actually cares for, unlike Adam, whom she barely knows and has never loved. If Moran must die, she wants it to be meaningful to her and the one she adores. She wants to make it her own choice.
