decided to bite the bullet and redesign everyone, as well as settle on designs for the future adults and give the mc2 gang my own little design twist. also aged all the kids up a bit. so long, high school students, hellooooo college students! all the past teens are now anywhere between 18-22, for the most part!

the other hybrid kids are still a wip, so i did the royal polycule just to make my load a tiny bit lighter, while still making progress hehe!

Do not take yourself down for an idea of a community when you really just love yourself and all you do.

Consciousness, action, and creation. This card basically just represents magic or manifestation. Honestly, it’s best to vote with your feet. Take action and just leave. Put your shit on private and just be. Your practice speaks for itself and thats why some people need to capitalize off of it and you to have a practice that makes some sense. Take action don’t succumb to your circumstance.

Pokemon-Inspired Spells (Part 4)

This is probably the last of these spells for now! I have a few more sitting in my docs, but they're mostly bland damage-dealers.

This list is specifically based on the Terrain moves/abilities! I personally love the Fog Cloud family of spells, so I sorta translated the terrain to extraplanar mists, giving a variety of classes different Stinking Cloud style battlefield control effects.

Thoughtmist

You open a small portal to the plane of thought and let its pink and blue mists come pouring out over the land. Creatures within the mists have partial concealment (20% miss chance). The mists carry the psychic energies of the plane of thought, clouding the minds of those within it and making their reactions slowed. Creatures within the mist take a -4 penalty to will saves against mind-affecting effects and cannot take attacks of opportunity.

You open a small portal to the First World, letting its life energy seep out in great green mists. Creatures within the mists have partial concealment (20% miss chance). Plants within the mist grow at a supernatural pace, being filled with vital energy. Reduce the land speed of non-plant creatures within the mist by 10ft (minimum 5ft) as they have to navigate through the plants. The plants produce rich, juicy shoots, seeds, and berries as they grow, providing nourishment to any who dare pluck them; a creature may spend a move action plucking and eating such foods to gain 1d8+your caster level (maximum 10) hp. Once a creature has been healed this way, it cannot be healed by the same greenmist again.

Creatures within the mist have partial concealment (20% miss chance). Thunder crackles within the cloud, threatening to burst at any moment. Creatures within the mist cannot fall asleep. If they move more than 30ft within the mists they risk triggering an electrical shock (50% chance), dealing 5d6 electricity damage to them.

Sieger is captain of the airship Okhema, having worked his way up the ranks of the Wespros Shipping Company for the last fifteen years. Prior to this, Sieger remembers nothing except being hauled wounded out of the Thalassan sea— a body of water that has been largely displaced with the return of the missing continent Matrica. Week three (holy hell, still going)! Two encounter docs today. We'll see if we can't get back to the two docs a day schedule now that I'm back in my office. I've got some fun things planned if so.

+Encounter With: Archchancellor Ensiid +Encounter With: The Lifeblood Magus

Archchancellor Ensiid is a half-elven soldier and envoy to the City of Brass. The daughter of a prominent elven politician and a titled efreeti, Velys Ensiid is a skilled fighter and negotiator. Her demeanor is a terrifying mix of elven grace and patience with the ruthlessness and cunning required to survive in the City of Brass. She was fun to write and makes for a good NPC when doing a planar campaign.

The Lifeblood Magus is a generic monster stat block for a blood mage. They don't fall within the realm of warlock, cleric, cultist, or wizard, and it is largely based off of my Sacrifant class. It's a good introduction to blood magic if you're playing a campaign which includes that.

So I started GMing a new Pathfinder 2e campaign last night and I figured I'd put a synopsis and other fun stuff here. We spent about the first hour struggling with our Forge VTT(the product is great, I'm just a noobie with it so it took a few tries to get things right) The map above is made in Inkarnate btw, another product I highly recommend for GMs or someone doing world building.

For starters the world is a nameless one that I honestly just refer to as the Continent right now for lack of a better term. I have about 300 pages of google docs and maps built out for this world that I started creating over quarantine in 2020. The name of this campaign arc is titled "Frost Barley" because of a tough strain of crops that has been developed here in the north of the Blodrake Kingdom(1/3 of the powers in the land). This new influx of money and capital to the area has also caused an influx of raiders, bandits, and others looking to take advantage. The party arrived in the town of Winterrane Plains(above), and were introduced to the Frostbreath Outriders(Think part knights watch, part mercenary company, part riders of Rohan) and drafted into their Auxiliary.

The party is as follows; the first to arrive was Arric, an Strix Gunslinger riding a horse sized chicken with twin pistols on his hips. The next to arrive was Steve, a mage covered head to toe in wrapped bandages and with a strong desire towards gold and other precious metals. The next to arrive was Derron Kewn Tanunuv(points to anyone who can figure out the name) who is "half orc and half badass from the town of Gold's Gym" a monk who put all his skill points into the lore:war skill but is still pretty handy with his orcish knuckle daggers. Next to arrive was Dyaven, a human magus with a combination gun-sword, a trenchcoat, and a bad attitude. Finally it was Najela Chestertail's turn to arrive, she was wearing a blue sailors coat and wielding a long curved sword covered in rings that made quite the racket.

After meeting the lord of the Outriders and eating a simple dinner, the members of squad 20 headed to Peter's Shop in the main square of town and purchased some winter clothing so that they were better equipped to deal with the punishing conditions of the winter. The mission they had received was to head to Underlake Farm and make sure the Underlake family was alright and didn't need for anything.

The session ended with the squad about to head into the Slumbering Den, the only bar and inn in the town to grab a drink.

We'll see what the next session will bring, but as a seasoned GM I know to always have stats for a bar fight prepared.
