Lydia was busy getting her clothes together for the date tonight at her place; She had hit it off well with the woman she sat across from at the endangered species benefit, and they had to rain check an ‘after party’ since the both of them were busy.

But, today was the day they had planned. She pulled up her shorts over her figure, having to jump a little in the process. They were a pair of black spandex shorts, with a halo on the front and angels wings on each cheek on the back.

She had on a black tank top that had a star design with each thread that crossed over her cleavage making a line of the star. Talking herself up, and hoping that she didn’t draw attention to her huge back scars, Lydia heard the doorbell to her home ring.

Her heart jumped into her throat, going to the door and fanning out her hair, opening it for her guest.

Unrealistic thought, but I think it'd be interesting to see the tables turn and for it to be Lydia totally obsessed with Betelgeuse for BJ3, at some point in the movie. To have her be thinking of him and needing him and probably being angry at herself at first for how much she's into him by the end of act two, and just accepting she wants him badly. As I said, maybe that's unrealistic, but a girl can dream.

i feel like i dislike modded followers that attempt to have their own moral high ground and will leave you or become hostile to you if you join the thieves guild/dark brotherhood/volkihar clan because it's really rich for someone aiding the dragonborn in slaughtering literally hundreds of people just because they're bandits like it's nothing and raiding and pillaging tombs and killing the already subjugated falmer like they're beasts to suddenly take a big stand against a little thieving/assassination/blood sucking. bonus points if said follower also already participates in something considered abhorrent/taboo like casual use of necromancy spells and the like.

Lydia entered the ballroom, surrounded by those whose wealth far exceeded her own. Despite being a minor mythological creature, she didn’t have nearly as much wealth as say, a vampire who beens laundering for thousands of years, or a goblin price hiking people for random curios.

She sighed, hoping her sleeved dress covered her back well enough, steeling her courage and walking around the benefit for a bit, finding her spot for dinner with a neat little nameplate on the table. Most tables were set for anywhere from 2-6 people; it seemed Lydia was set in the 2s section.

She sat down, wondering when she was going to meet the other who’d be joining her for dinner at the exotic animals benefit. She didn’t have money, but it was a black tie event, so if you fit the dress code and applied early enough, you could get in.

Okay I f*cking LOVE this episode, dude.

First of all, as messed up as everything Araya did was, I kind of don't hate her, because it was exactly what she said--a test. And Scott passed with flying colors. And it sucked, and I hated that she put our teens through that, but she knew what she was doing, and it worked, and it got us answers.

Plus, it gave me the chance to just continue to appreciate how protective they all are of each other, and how loyal they are, and how they just have each other's backs no matter what.

Like, everything between Kira, Scott, and Lydia was so good. I obviously love Malira (apparently lol), but I also still love Scira, and the absolute guilt in Kira's eyes, but the continued encouragement and support from Scott, and the way he just kept locking eyes with her and telling her that it was okay, because he could handle it, all while Lydia just kept looking at him worriedly, but knew he was right--so many emotions, but so well done and so well shot.

Meanwhile, Stiles and Malia were downstairs, and Malia was doing everything she could to focus on the conversation, so Stiles got down close to her and did such a good job of turning his own panic and worry into something encouraging for her (random aside to acknowledge the fun little energy of the earlier scene with the four of them when Stiles had to remind Malia that we don't leave friends behind--"Believe it or not, that's progress." XD XD). And then the fact that kissing him is what got her to concentrate, so then she was able to focus on the conversation, and fill Stiles in, and now they're all on the same page when they finally do get out. Like, Stydia is still my OTP, but I am kind of digging the energy between Stiles and Malia, not gonna lie. That said, I also don't see it lasting, and I don't really want it to, but I'll allow it for the moment lol.

AND THEN! The "reveal" (I'm putting that in quotes because it's not a reveal for us, but it is for the pack lol) was SO well shot and SO well done and just everything about it was so good, and honestly? I kind of like Araya. Like, her methods are extreme and unorthodox, but she clearly follows the code, and I respect her for that. She's letting our heroes go so that they can hunt down the people she considers significantly more immoral than our pack (because KATE certainly is for crying out loud), and she's letting Scott go because she can see that he really did earn that Alpha status completely on his merit alone, and I appreciate that.

Anyways. Braeden's taking us to maybe hopefully Kate (as an aside, I freaking LOVE that X Ambassadors song that came with Braeden's entrance and that was extremely well used), and this is either gonna go really well, or really poorly, but our pack is together, and everyone's more or less okay, and I will take it!!

Man this is a really good episode. I'm so glad I finally started Season 4.
