Welp since it's pride month let's give some reminders: Aspecs are queer, always has been for decades and always will be.

Stop fucking erasing us, sexualizing us, and justifying it because you can't get it through your head that "sex and romance is apart of being human" isn't true for everyone.

If you care for us, love us, and stand with us then show that you do. Properly present us, talk to us, and see our perspective of things instead of stereotypes you put on us.

Bisexuals are queer, always has been for decades and always will be.

They don't have to "pick sides", they don't owe you a got damn thing.

They aren't just "gay" or "straight", properly represent them instead of stereotypes of what you think of them and see their perspective of things.

TERFS are legit some of the stupidest people out there. You ask for proof for their claims, and they avoid proving themselves by attacking more. Give them proof that trans people are minorities, are getting targeted and attacked, and have little to no protection worldwide (with cited proof of such) and the deflect by saying some old school "genitals are gender its your birth certificate you cant change that just agree with me" bullshit because they cannot find an argument in which trans people as a whole are the oppressor and cis people (especially cis religious people) are the oppressed. Because that's not reality.

Hey I'm just gonna say it. A lot of you in the sapphic community have "terfs dni" in your bio while repeating terf rhetoric that keeps trans men in the closet and bi women ashamed. And you need to reflect on that.

There is no "men are inherently biologically bad" argument you can make that doesn't lend itself to terf rhetoric and misogyny. Adding a "but like, trans girls don't count ☆" or "except the gays ♡" or "except my transmasc boyfriend [I'm going to subtly or unsubtly imply he doesn't count as a real man whether I realize it or not]" does not suddenly make it a progressive argument. [Especially you fuckers who adapt it to mean "actually all trans women are good and pure and innocent and all trans men are dirty evil misogynists just like cis men". You are doing active damage to the trans community. You are not an ally. You're doing toxic gender roles. Fuck off.]

Bioessentialism will never serve the queer community. I don't care if you make minor adaptations to it to make it seem nicer and less bigoted. It will always serve to harm trans people, divide people into a binary, and maintain misogynistic ideas that men are inherently evil and therefore can't be held responsible for their actions, that women have to take the responsibility for "protecting themselves" instead of believing that men can and should change so that no one needs protecting.

It's a lack of belief in feminism's ability to meaningfully change or solve anything and I'm tired of everyone acting like it's not.

this might be a controversial opinion but i think we unnecessarily platform terfs way too much. people cant even make a fun harmless trans post without people jumping on to be like "yeah, fuck terfs!" and its like. severely not about that at all

tumblr terfs love attention. they feed off of it, ESPECIALLY negative attention which is what some of yall are constantly giving them. if you dont want them interacting with your blog or w/e, thats fine, of course you dont! but everyone quietly blocking them while focusing on trans positivity would be way more beneficial than making the focus entirely about giving them the attention that theyre frothing at the mouth for

and frankly the focus on terfs takes away from conversations about casual transphobia that exists outside of just radical feminism. not everyone hides their transphobia under the guise of being a super feminist, and saying "fuck terfs" makes people feel like theyre above ever perpetuating transphobia, which is DEFINITELY not true
