i’ve seen a few things on twitter and here yesterday that made me realize why i created this barrier with d20 content even though i always enjoy when the cast goes to cr.

the d20 fandom is so entitled. “the content we watch is so much better than anything else”, “our cast is so much better and better curated than crs”, “why have someone who doesn’t know how to play with my favorite d20 cast member”, the whole matt dming d20 when it was announced and they acted like it was the end of the world. 

you can try and say that it’s just your opinion, but some people are just bullies hiding behind that excuse. it’s unfriendly and unwelcoming and some of you act like you’re on the top of the world looking down at every other actual play available.

Burrows end is my first season with Aabria as a DM and I'm only just getting into the first episode but I adore her DM style. There technical stuff I'm sure I'll notice more later but even just the story book style of this season she's doing so well. It's feels so cozy and I can't wait for her to completely emotionally devastate me

I love the stepmother because she’s completely unnatural in every way. She is so opposite of nature. She despises Destiny, she spits in the face of death with her techniques of power, she is so strange and unnatural compared to the rest of this story which is very focused on the natural world and animals and conscious of the circle of life and kr makes anything that happens with her so cool and scary as fuck bc she is something unknown and menacing
