got this reblog on one of my posts were i talked about being anxious about the future of the zelda series after totk and-

i even went back and unblocked them just to check my own post and check twice what they meant exactly- but i still dont know how they got to these conclusions

i never said i 'want a good uwu ganondorf' (bc that would mean hes aligned with hyrule bc thats how goodness works!!!!11!1!!!), i also dont think of any of the zeldas as 'whores' (seriously, where did that come from?? neither me nor the addition of someone agreeing with me said anything like that??? did they think bc the addition called tloz misogynistic means we think zelda is a whore????? huh???)

its also funny how they say they want zelda to stay a simple fairytale rather than have 'people like me' bc .. one point i talked about in the og post was how the evil arab thing VS good white people media likes to do so much is so normalized here that its simply seen as a simple harmless fairytale trope instead of a big underlying issue in general media and the writers might not even realize it (which is worse) bc the most 'generic' appeal is to people who dont think of it as a problem in the first place, because it is so normalized

(huh, i wonder about what kind of person that part was about .. hmmmm)

(ALSO funny they mention princess hilda as nuanced villain ... like ... wow they are so nuanced about purple haired people!!- like guess why we want a nuanced/less badly/less flat written ganondorf and what he, in particular, has not in common with other villains! its not his hair color! .... or was that point supposed to mean .. look we have one female character that is a villain, its not misogynistic! idk honestly)

also funny how its 'never gonna be progressive enough' like asking for the franchise to maybe put a little more thought and nuance into their white divine right vs evil desert man simulator instead of making it worse is already asking too much

(also yes totk is racist, like most if not all of the franchise and a alot of other media as well, shocker- you can still like it though, i and plenty of other people are still fans of it, we just wish they did a little more with their stuff and maybe not make the racism problem WORSE)

I don't think monsters really had binders at first (dont use bandages btw guys, dont be like Starlo was!!11) I think the first time one fell into the trash dump or wtvr someone picked it up and then once figuring out its uses just!! boom!! business!! figuring out how to safely make more and!!! finding ways to accommodate certain monsters with different body types!! esp with the spikes and such. Ceroba def helped Starlo out with his bandages often before they were able to get him a binder. the one where clovers drawing is !! an idea of revived!clover or clover staying in the underground in hiding. Martlet got him that shirt :)) and obv the bell earring is from Ceroba. sorry to all my cotl followers i STILL have no colored the 5 body refs of both narinder and lambert. I picked the colors here on a whim so uhmmm it's not official!!! not yet anyways!! i do like what i used for Narinders fur tho, so that might stay idk yet i hte coloring BNJKNKSD i colored this whole thing on a wild impulse.. thus staying up all night. I think clover would really enjoy waterfall if they were ever able to visit it after or during the whole soul thing. It's peaceful and beautiful and also one of my fav areas in base game sooo :) i missed my LN kids. I reread Raccoons on ao3 and remembered how much i loved them and their silly lil dynamic. im a #1 six defender btw i WILL throw hands if u say some wrong shit abt her. mono, less so bc i think a lot of people have a good grasp on his character now but six is ALWAYS villainized. Has been for years nd it ticks me off bc?? she was right for her actions kinda?? not really?? ofc both characters made bad choices that lead to it but dont disregard her feelings either? idk its a whole thing i cant get into on THIS post. a lot of the doodles are just random moments like Six in the Maw with their bigass keys and locks, maybe its one of the ones to the kitchen and thats why she's rushing :D? Mono isnt really. he wasnt meant to be in the end game room but i wanted funky lighting so do with that as u will. Thenn..... arrhrhhgh I thiiiink I went looking for eevees, but I found Anastasia(Shiny Kricketot) in the process and kept her. Then I picked one of the eevees I caught at random and kept him. Then lastly I found a Mareep(Bonnie) by surprise and kept her.

And yeah that's how I pictured her XDD its becuase I use her the most out of all my Pokémon-

Now she's not bossy and doesn't have a leader or "I'm better that you guys" complex, none of that! She's just very intelligent and usually very level headed and calm. I can imagine that she's gotten the team safely through a lot of complicated situations and her plans/advice have rarely led the group astray.

Plus since I use her so often, I like to think that she's one of the most powerful Pokémon on the team. If not the most powerful. So whenever the group was met with a great danger, Gloria was probably the one to rescue them <XD

So the whole group kind'a gravitates behind her and lets/wants her to take the lead most of the time. Especially when things get complicated or dangerous!

As for your question.. I'm afraid I don't understand/cant explain it--

Lets say I wanna draw Mario. I imagine what the drawing might end up looking like in my head, what pose I'll draw him in and what colors I'll use.. And then I just.. draw it. It might not look exactly like what I pictured but its probably close enough.

As for the Dry Bones thing, that's what I meant by "not sure how it fits into the AU yet" 😅 Who'd they fight? Why did they fight? When did this happen? No idea. Its all just a neat concept with no structure yet :// And beyond the awkward living situation with the Dry Bones today, I haven't really thought about how the Koopa culture has been changed by the war. Now Luigi, I had this idea that he had a bizarre encounter with a 1-UP and was later bitten by a Goomba. Over the span of say... 5 days or so..? Luigi slowly got weaker and weaker until eventually he became bedridden and actually died- He came back to life moments after but it still completely shook Mario and Luigi's worlds for a sec there-

I had intended to draw a comic about this, and I made a sketch about it in the past.. but around the time I thought of this idea my Mario phase was kind'a passing over so I didn't feel like making it- <XDD

As for a potential sequel, I would like to see Wario, Waluigi and Toadsworth. Not sure why Toadsworth wasn't in the first movie- he absolutely should have been. That deep voiced purple..? council..? toad guy?? Totally should have been Toadsworth :/

And my request for the Wario bros is that they are taken seriously. 😅🤣

when someone mentioned the name brandt clarke, people immediately think of the unique laugh he held.

the laugh gone unheard ever since that night.

february 14th.

the day of love. the day that was made to be celebrated with the one you love.

all of that didn’t matter to brandt anymore as he had nothing to live for.

he didn’t have anyone to make dinner reservations with or to buy chocolates, that he’d end up eating, for.

the one thing that didn’t change was that on the 14th of february, brandt clarke would always buy a bouquet of flowers for the girl that held his heart.

you and brandt met through his teammate alex. the older boy being a good friend to your brother and him keeping an eye on you.

alex’s intention of introducing the two of you was purely to help each other settle into being away from family. he never expected that would blossom into a wholesome relationship.

everyone remembers the smile on your face when you and brandt made it official. the pair of you walked into a kings event hand in hand with smiles spreading from ear to ear.

it was the happiest your brothers had seen you in a long time.

brandt fit into your family quite easily.

with your brothers in the league alongside him, brandt found conversation easy to carry out and his open personality made it hard not to be his friend.

but brandt’s dream turned into a nightmare in a matter of minutes.

february 14th was planned to a t.

brandt had ensured that you were pampered throughout the day before meeting for dinner at one of your favourite restaurants.

sometimes, he felt like he was still there sitting in the corner before his phone rang.

“hey babe, i’m just heading to the restaurant now. i cant wait to see you, i love you!”.

“hey babe, it’s raining real bad so i might be a little late but i’m almost here, i love you,”

when his phone ring with an unknown number he answered.

“hello?” he answered.

“hi is this mr brandt clarke?” the nurse asked.

brandt gulped.

“yeah this is he,”

“sir i’ve got one y/n hughes who was rushed to the emergency room and you were listed as her emergency contact. would you be able to make it to los angeles general hospital?”

brandt agreed and slowly got up from the table. before entering his car, he called your brothers.

“she’s in the hospital and i’m going to see her now,” he told them, not explaining anymore.

jack sent alex to follow brandt in order to know more about his sisters situation.

“i’m here for y/n hughes,” brandt went up to the front desk. alex had met up with him at the hospital and promised to be by his side.

“mr clarke, i’m so sorry but miss hughes didn’t make it,” the nurse expressed solemnly.

brandt felt the room spinning as he grabbed onto alex. the older boy almost buckled under the defensemen weight as well as the shock he experienced.

“she experienced some complications during labour …”

the nurse was cut off by alex. “she was pregnant?” he whispered.

the nurse gave a sad smile. “we believe she had a cryptic pregnancy as she had no idea either,”

“is the baby okay?” brandt asked.

the nurse nodded. “we’ve got another doctor doing some check ups but she seems to be doing well.”

alex and brandt let out a breathe of relief.

the two boys went back to their own apartments and awaited the arrival of your family.

ellen was quick to pull brandt into a hug as she sobbed for her daughter.

quinn gave the boy a sad smile. he knew of the velvet box that would’ve sat inside brandt’s jacket. the way it felt heavier after the news.

“she was pregnant.” brandt announced.

“it was a cryptic pregnancy so neither of us knew but she named the baby callie before she passed,”

ellen sobbed even harder and grabbed brandt’s hands. “whatever you want to do, we are here for you,” she reminded him.

callie was a carbon copy of her mother.

they had the same features and personality but most did say she got her laugh from her father.

on your birthday, brandt took callie to visit your grave with ellen and jim. callie was only a couple months old but she knew inside that this person was important to her and her family.

ellen took callie off brandt’s hands for a couple of minutes, in order to allow him some time to talk to you.

“callie looks just like you. i figured out why you named her that too, callie for california, the place we met.” he paused, looking up to the sky.

“sometimes i think i’m still at the restaurant waiting for you to walk through the doors. i remember the corner i was sat in and the feeling of dread when i got the call,” his voice wavered slightly towards the end.

“i just miss you so much and sometimes i’m stuck right where you left me,” he sobbed.

on maketea i have 293,935, but with at least one of my other accounts (one of them is for ml and one of them for another fandom, the latter of which i cant be bothered to log in to rn shdjsk) the total is 313,681!!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

miraculous ladybug mainly! but i have also written for owari no seraph. ive written for other fandoms but im not counting it if i literally only have one work to my name for them HSJAJA with ons at least i have 3 on maketea and 12 on my other account

THEORETICALLY. i also write for sailor moon. i have a substantial amount in my google docs. they just havent manifested themselves into existence yet

random question but as someone who's considering trying to do my own rewrite esque thing... is it weird that i want to like. Fix bramble and squirrel's relationship instead of having him continue to be an abuser? Maybe it's just the fact that I liked them as a kid (or that i havent read SqH/past OOTS) but there's this weird disconnect where the bramble in my head is apparently a lot different than other people read in the text lol. figured id ask you since you're The wc rewrite person

You can sort through my tags on Bramblestar if you'd like ideas. I am the king of "Bramble why can't you be GOOD." I talk a lot about how he is abusive, what I enjoy and what I don't enjoy about the idea of an abuse plotline, so on.

I personally won't recommend fixing Bramblesquirrel as a ship though. I think it would be a lot better to rewrite them as adopted siblings... tbh I've never seen a romantic BrambleSquirrel rewrite that didn't keep blaming Squilf as "just as bad" and "pushing each other's buttons" which I think is a really, really uncomfortable implication considering canon

Like... unfortunately, fanfic is inherently a commentative medium. We can fix, we can prune, we can rewrite, but we can't break free of the implications of canon.

I personally feel like the line is so fine that's impossibly razor thin.

So if you are committed to fixing BrambleSquirrel, please try to make sure to treat Squilf as valid. Bramble is constantly downplaying and ignoring her because she's loud and assertive, even though she's nearly always right.

She couldn't trust him with that secret; the second he found out he abandoned his family and acted passive aggressive for an entire year. He trained in the Dark Forest and let Leafpool take the fall for secrets he leaked to Hawkfrost. He throws Firestar's legacy at Squilf while getting pissed off that anyone throws Tiger's legacy back at him, even when they're not.

He holds the fact she wants a new baby over Squilf's head to invalidate her concerns all Squilf's Hope long, screams at her for caring about endangering kittens, and then leads a battle patrol against pregnant women.

Please please keep these in mind. Please either eliminate these, or for fuck's sake, don't "Bothsides" these issues

I think if you're going to fix Bramblesquirrel, you cannot give Bramble power. You'll have to completely change these situations so that he is not the deputy or leader, as these conflicts drive the plot. I can recommend Brackenstar or Thornstar instead, have Squilf lose a deputy position over the secret, Bramble is upset but supportive.

(Especially tap into how ThunderClan treats the three differently after this reveal, "i was angry you didn't trust me, but i see why you did it <:/")

Keep the internal arguments between the two of them harmless. Model something like Honeymooners, where in spite of their arguments being loud and blustering, Squilf is clearly never ACTUALLY afraid of him and NONE of these fights end in Big Summer Blowouts.

(And a side note; if your relationships look like that, you deserve better. It is actually not normal to have huge fights every month. I was Shocked but it is true.)

Remember, remember, remember; you have to SHOW me them being a healthy couple in spite of any arguing they do. Imagine that you CANT tell me "they love each other." You can never say that word-- can I still tell they are a loving couple?

If the answer is ever no, reevaluate.

kaebedo meeting as kids (rhinedottir wants to socialize her new experiment or kaeya goes about wandering the palace and finds him, what have you) and then recognizing eachother (or only albedo doing so) when A joins the knights

ORRR consider bebe kaeya meeting a prototype of albedo (rubedo fic writers im looking at you) who looks exactly the same so he is freaking out and albedo has no fucking idea why (and then, once they start dating, rubedo shows up and does... something)

razor/bennet/fischl sic fic where bennys bad luck makes it so he and fischl have medical procedues scheduled on the same day, and everyone else except for razor are busy while theyre in recovery, cute little sic fic opportunity, this can honestly work for any sort of illness or medical issue that makes you loopy or in pain but i personally would love t4t4t where fischl and benny are both recovering from un reschedulable top surgery

i know i literally just said i hate unhappy endings but consider... xiaoven ( or honestly any ship w/ xiao but thats the one i like) where xiao always expected to die and leave venti in mourning so he pushes him away.... and then venti fucking dies (or goes into eepy time for a while if you want amiguous or happy ending)

just more venti sleep fics, but specifically venti unexpectedly goes into one of his sleeps and his partner has to wait for him, not knowing if hell wake up in a few days a few years a few hundred years or ever... also consider venti falling asleep with his partner saying theyll wait for him, and then them being long dead/gone (opportunity for a reincarnation fic) (this one defiently exists in some form with multiple ships but like... papa me want more movie, also hard to fine because like what tags do i even search for with this is there a tag for venti goes to eepy?? Scara ship fic (chiscara??? please???) where they truly do not remember scara at all, no random tears no familiar feelings or suspicion, hes been entierly wiped. a bit of angst and mourning from scara before he decides he cant accept this and tries to make the first move and they slowly fall in love again. (Literally every fic ive read of chiscara has childe make the first move and I understand its because scara is the most emotionally constipated man to ever be written but I feel like them already being in a relationship pre wipe+ the backstory of him having lots of time in sumeru to heal would make it not tooo ooc)

ok so i was going through my tags and through old posts but i genuinely think of this post so much.

its just, this style, this "rebelliousness", was always there, like i said.

bc i realized i was bi in the beginning of seventh grade, and it was quite easy for me to come to terms with that bc i had been a huge ally sixth grade. i just had opinions and was curious.

seventh grade me and my friends fell out (we were young, its just what happens), and they were all straight, but one of my friends at the time kinda gravitated towards the like queer group in school and she was my friend even through that fall out so i also started hanging out with queer people more and more and so like at the end of seventh grade i was basically the token straight lmfao. pretty funny.

somehwere arounf the start of eight grade i realized i liked one of my friends. and she was a girl. but i came to terms with it pretty quickly cause it made sense after being friends with them cause a lot of things they said resonated a lot yk.

and i think since then my parents started liking me less and less.

you see, queer ppl dress very badass. and i had been friends with them at the end of 7th grade, so ever since the start of 8th, i started experimenting and taking my moms clothes. and more and more i came to realize more abt my sexuality and my place in this world, i wasn't the perfect innocent child my parents had anymore. i could have been, except heavy eye makeup looks makes me a witch and crop tops make me a slut.

but my parent think that this isnt me and that it isn't my fault but rather it was the fault of the people i became friends with. so now they get so much shit, i fight them so much bc they cant talk about my friends like that and i just don't know anymore honestly. i don't even speak to them that much anymore cause we moved after middle school, and my parents still bring it up as to how I'm still corrupted cause i still love my makeup and clothing style.

they think ive been corrupted, and theyve told me so many times too. and there's many times where there would be a gay book and they find out its gay or a show or movie. and its my friends fault. bc he knows they're gay. so maybe yeah. maybe i did technically get corrupted, but its not bad this time.

and what sucks most is that i cant even tell them. bc i cant even start to explain cause its just me. it feels rights. whether it be my sexuality or fashion. its just the way i am. just like how some people like red more than blue and how some people like chocolate ice cream over vanilla i just like my bold sense of style.

you knew their plan. you were there, planning alongside them without their knowing. you don't know how ayato got thoma to join in on his supposed master plan willingly, but you knew from the moment thoma messaged you about watching that new horror movie that he was going to bail last minute and have ayato go in his stead.

funny, really, that both thoma and ayato genuinely thought you liked watching horror movies when in fact, you hated them and were only listening to thoma talk, trying to segue out of the conversation lest he unintentionally gives you nightmares. with how animated the vice president was talking, he never did manage to notice the forced smile on your face as you listen to him talk about ax killers in the backseat of a car or a haunted porcelain doll with pigtails.

"yn," ayato calls.

when you turn your head to greet him with a smile, he forgets how to breathe. suddenly he's reminded that everything he's doing, fighting the mold his family wants to shape him into, was every inch worth it. 

ayato brought you flowers, just as planned. a bouquet of white roses, and you pray to whoever is listening that he doesn't come any closer or your allergy will start acting up and what a could-be date to the cinema would end up becoming a date in the emergency room. yeah. totally not romantic. but you have to suck it up and pretend you like it because you yourself were the one who lied and said you loved white roses.

 "oh," you stutter, slightly sniffling as your eyes got teary just by being in the vicinity of the damn roses. "thats… that's a nice bouquet haha."

"i was just about to meet my mom, you see. she asked me to get her some white roses for her office but when i got there, she said her secretary had already got some for her. i can't let it go to waste so… i guess, i'll just give it to you then." alas, he extends his arms and gives it to you with a proud smile on his face.

if only you weren't tearing up so hard due to the roses, maybe you'd have noticed how impeccable his acting is. if you hadn't known the real story, you'd have thought his excuse was a hundred percent real, from his facial expression to his mannerisms.

with the roses now directly by your face, the sniffles got more severe and no amount of sniffling stopped you from letting out the biggest sneeze you've ever had, making you drop the bouquet. sadly, neither you nor ayato reacted quickly enough to pick it up as a couple of kids playing tag ran between you and accidentally stepped on the dainty roses. 

while you moved to pick it up, ayato couldn't care less about the flowers and had just noticed the paleness of your skin and teary eyes due to the allergic reaction. okay. maybe telling him the exact opposite of what you like was a bad idea.

"oh no, the flowers…"

"yn, forget the flowers. are you okay? you look…"

you cough, feeling your throat tighten as you fail to keep yourself upright, unable to breathe and getting lightheaded. ayato is quick to catch you in his arms, panic-stricken face inches from yours as a hand pushes your hair away from your face. "shit! are you–are you allergic to flowers? but… but that wasn't—"

you blacked out. the last thing you remember was your thoughts of damn it; he found out.

white fluorescent lights scorched your eyes when you opened them as the distinct smell of antiseptic flooded your nostrils. for once, you were breathing regularly again and didn't feel like your skin was itching. as you sit up and take in your surroundings, you realize you're in a hotel… or a hospital? wait a minute, are you…

"VIP room?" you mumble, looking at the mahogany furniture and the flat screen tv mounted just across the hospital bed you were lying on. and right next to you with the blinds drawn, you see the beautiful sea of lights making up the pretty cityscape.

"oh, you're awake. and yeah, you're in one of our hospital's VIP room."

ayato appears from around the corner where the living room was, pocketing his phone as he approaches the side of your bed with big strides, causing your heart rate to speed up, hands flying everywhere as you stutter with your words. "why… why a VIP room? i can barely afford emergency as it is! you could've… could've just sent me home or…"

your voice dies as he reaches forward to grab your outstretched hand, gently bringing it back down on your lap. flustered and utterly distracted by the softness of his hands, you try to pull it out of his grip until he—

"careful. don't move your hands so much, that's where they put the iv."

you blink in disbelief, head jerking to the side, and true to what he said there was an iv attached to the back of your hand. an iv drip? seriously? for a damned allergic reaction?! how much is this going to cost me?!

ayato must've seen your thoughts written clearly on your face as he quickly starts parroting what the doctor said to him. "that's what i thought, too, when dr. nomura said they'll attach an iv on you because you fainted. so they said it was a severe allergic reaction and the iv drip is the quickest way to flush out… allo-whatever-medical-term he said."

he laughs but you don't laugh with him, the heat in your face unable to make you stare straight at his eyes. ayato was still holding your hand.

"oh, sorry…"

he lets it go, and some part of you wish he didn't.

ayato clears his throat. "don't worry! dr. nomura said you'll be back to good condition after you empty the iv drip. and then we can go on our date—I MEAN, DAY! haha… i meant day…"

"right… yeah, i get it." you bite your lip hard and force your heart to calm down. abort mission! foul! FOUL! that was a direct attack! thank god there was no heart monitor attached to you or it would've all been for nothing.

"i heard there'll be a boat ride a little after sundown. they say there'll be fireworks, too. would you like to come with me? it's the least i can do, considering it's my fault for bringing the roses and we had to miss our movie."

you've never felt this guilty in your entire life. but because of that strong feeling of guilt, you suck it up, smile at ayato, and say yes despite having the worst case of motion sickness known to man.
