'Your children will be as abundant as the stars'
Stars, like seeds, are abundant.. But there is also the isolating distance between them as they've spread. It can be lonely but hope you feel safe and loved and there's beauty in the homes we've made all over.

Rest in paradise to the ancestors who resisted the chains of slavery and chose the sea over bondage. Your bravery and defiance in the face of unimaginable cruelty will never be forgotten. The honorable Marcus Garvey taught us to honour the sacrifices of our ancestors, and your decision to reclaim freedom—even in the depths of the ocean—was a profound act of resistance. You chose dignity over despair, freedom over fear, and in doing so, you became eternal. Your courage fuels our fight for liberation, and your legacy continues to guide us as we strive to achieve the unity and freedom you were denied. We honour you, we remember you, and we rise because of you.

MUST SEE: African Americans Received In Burkina Faso By Ibrahim Traore |...
In this video, American Blacks are seen relocating to Burkina Faso after a powerful speech by President Ibrahim Traoré, welcoming them back to Africa with open arms. Traoré's speech, which highlights unity, heritage, and a shared history, deeply resonates with many in the African diaspora. However, the move has sparked controversy, with U.S. President Donald Trump expressed strong disapproval, criticizing the mass migration and the political implications of Traoré's statements. The video explores the emotional reactions, political tensions, and the ongoing discussion surrounding identity and belonging.

pictures from the old city of jerusalem's "african quarter", which comprises of ribat al-mansuri and ribat al-basiri. mamluks built the compounds in the late 13th century to house muslim pilgrims and the poor. ottomans used them as prisons, and the british closed the prisons when they occupied jerusalem in 1917. the ribats then came under the ownership of the islamic waqf, and were leased to the local afro-palestinian community.
afro-palestinians have an array of origins. like some other diaspora communities in palestine, some came through pilgrimage - al-aqsa was on their hajj path, and while many would visit to pray there, some decided to settle in jerusalem. there are also some who came to palestine enslaved or conscripted, most recently to ottomans. some came during the time of the british mandate, many as conscripted laborers to the british. afro-palestinians who can trace their ancestry do so to nigeria, chad, senegal, or sudan.
jerusalemite afro-palestinians were employed to guard al-aqsa throughout the ottoman period. during the 1948 palestine war, some joined the arab liberation army and fought with fellow palestinians to defend al-aqsa and their presence in jerusalem. the position of guards has been taken by occupation soldiers since the 1967 war, after which a quarter of the afro-palestinian population became refugees in surrounding countries.
jerusalem's afro-palestinian community still live in the compounds today, which also house the local african community society. (the door in the last picture is theirs.) afro-palestinians as a whole face the same legal, social, and economic restrictions and maltreatment as other palestinians, compounded with the same anti-black racism from israeli government and police which ethiopian jews and eritrean asylum seekers face, which result in a form of "passport racism" unique to them.

if you wanna give duke a super, cool
give him like steel, not because they’re black, but because black people find community with one another *shocking*.
but also please remember that duke is a super in his own right (i personally think that his light powers include the ability to move at the speed of light or at least should develop that way) and specifically he is cass’s super.
because he and cass are besties.
like lowkey it’s hilarious that wfa put cass and kon’s brief dating history above cass and duke’s very well established close friendship for who cass considers to be her super (especially when it’s becoming apparent that some people didn’t know that cass and kon dating was canon).

Was thinking about my warring states Hatake farmer ocs and realised that Kakashi should never meet these guys because it’d give him such an identity crisis lol
Man’s appears to be the last of his clan (The Hatake, if you will), and depending on how much Sakumo managed to pass on to him and how much Kakashi has even bothered engaging with his heritage after all that, how much does Kakashi even know about his clan customs anyway?
When Konohans living post Sakumo’s death say Hatake they are referring to this one guy, but he’s been raised his whole life to be the model Konohan ninja instead of a Hatake. If he meets a bunch of Hatake with completely different customs (not even ninja! They’re civilian farmers), clan specific cues and behaviour that he had no one teach him to recognise, and they are so wary of outsiders from having grown up in an era of war and bloodline thieves, will they or even Kakashi himself accept him as Hatake?
Fandom likes to paint the Hatake as a super close knit clan so imagine Kakashi he sees these guys together laughing and helping each other and he’s all alone and so damn lonely but he doesn’t know how to get close to them or understand
Basically culturally alienated Hatake Kakashi and you better hope the Hatake clan members he meets are nice and wants to adopt/accept him but there’s inevitably going to be a lot of messy feelings and misunderstandings going on before they get there

I just love her 🇮🇱 she is so right
Standing strong together 💪
Israel is a tiny nation but the strongest.
It has had to fight off many invaders that want to take that land and make it their own
No matter what ,Israel has always come through it and stronger than before .
Little cock roaches like Hamas will never get that land that belongs to the Jewish people and they never will
Israel was
Israel is
Israel will always be
Nothing they can do will take that away from the only Jewish nation in the world!
Israel lives
🇮🇱💪

There's something really strange and creepy about the self-appointed diaspora police who fixate on the exact breakdowns of strangers' ethnic backgrounds.
Yeah, I get the "I'm 1/32nd Cherokee princess" thing but "is your blood puuuuuure" is super gross as well, especially if the person doing it has nothing to do with the community in question.
