anyone else up thinking about thoschei again. It's 1 am and they won't leave me alone. Just the difference in their different pairings and dynamics is driving me insane. From two tortured souls fresh from the horrors of the Time War, holding on to each other and pushing each other away in the same moment, with the Master running and the Doctor always chasing after him, to the Master finally being the one trying to reach out and the Doctor being the one to pull away because there's just too much history between them, too much he cannot look past even as she started to really try (and it ended in tragedy anyway, even when they both tried), to two used-to-be-lovers whose bond has deteriorated to pure hatred tying them together, but maybe there's still something there, but- there's just too much. The history between them means something, but it's both too much and not enough. Anyways yeah I'm normal. If any of that was even coherent.

i know part of the point of the power of the doctor was that yaz wouldn't join the master but i think after everything she went through towards the end of her relationship with the doctor and all the shit she probably found out AFTER they parted ways i think the master should start a team of disillusioned companions that were done dirty by the narrative (and the doctor themselves)

i KNOW the master's jealousy and disregard for the human race probably wouldn't allow them to share this pain because their experience with the doctor is far superior and complex etcetc bUT it would be funking hilarious and cool to have them show up like
