You and Bruce definitely met at when he was in Metropolis one time. It was one of those cliche ‘bumping into one another in the street, meeting each others eyes and knowing you’d see them over and over’ type of meetings.

You met again when he was coming out of the Daily Planet building, and again back in Gotham at a cafe, and over and over when he rescued you (as Batman) but you over time somehow figured it was him. He started getting annoyed because you’re so cute and talented, but he keeps meeting you as Batman not Bruce and at awkward times. 

He eventually managed to ask you to go with him to visit the newly refurbished library, and the rest is known as history. 

He really enjoys giving you surprise cuddles. 

He lifts you up and nuzzles his face into your neck and everything. If your reading? He’ll try and fit next to you and cuddle. If you’re writing? He’ll sit you in his lap so he can cuddle. Don’t like cuddles? That’s fine, he’ll just cling onto your arm or hold your hand. 

I’m just putting it out there; he loves to hear you speak other languages. 

The fact you can wrap your mind around all these different dialects and tones of speaking leaves him in complete awe. He feels even better about it once he overheard you and Damian of all people having what sounded like a conversation in Urdu about (what he found later to be) the lack of good bakeries in Gotham. 

The fact you bonded with Damian purely because you spoke one of his languages was enough for Bruce to know you were the one.
