I, while watching the DefunctTV playlist, realize with how Batman's identity is set up in MtW, it's not out there if he winds up doing appearances on TV like children's shows like Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego or Sesame Street as Batman because he could literally walk on set, cowl off then flip it on and the crew would either go "wow that's some awesome cosplay Mr Wayne" or "where did Mr Wayne - oh, Hello Mr Batman"

I had the thought of Tim, age 8, on Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego or a similar game show and Batman comes on as a cameo agent and Tim is losing his mcFucking mind because neither Harry nor Bruce or ALFRED told him this was happening. Like he doesn't yell or anything but like a lot of footage has him looking wide eyed and stumbling over obvious clues. Then at the end, BATMAN comes out and congratulates him with a smile going "Good Job, Robin." (Mind he wasn't saying this specifically to Tim. He was scripted to say that to whoever won)

The way he has a meltdown on the flight home 😂😂😂😂 and has a second one because none of his siblings knew and they collectively flip out when the episode premieres.

Maybe I haven't been reading the same thing but I don't see male omegas becoming more feminine when pregnant?

Like yeah some are chill with being called Mom/Mother by their kids and we aren't gonna poke the sleeping bear that is lactation, but like all the ficts I read (and manga/manhwa) if a character is fem by the end of the story, they were already like that at the beginning. Same for if they were masculine.

Examples!

Surge Towards You, with Yi-rim, he is small, delicate and cute. He is an Olympian for Figure Skating but it's not startling to see him pregnant because he gives very fem vibes. If he didn't have shonen anime boy hair, he could pass for a girl.

Low Tide In Twilight, Euihyun is an in-between where you could reasonably guess he's an omega since he's small but that's more mild starvation than anything. He kicks a lot of ass and takes no guff. He could pass as a beta if he attempted to (ignoring pheromones).

Smyrna and Capri, Theo is admittedly an alpha who can get pregnant which is very non-traditional but he doesn't become more fem from this. He still has ruts and fangs but also doesn't grow a beard or anything. This is really leaning on Brother Without A Tomorrow art style and their preference for masculine ukes (also his mom can pass for a dude easy so again, art style) than anything else.

My Wife is an Alpha, both in the couple are male alphas and the one that ends up pregnant doesn't grow a beard but is decidedly masculine. He was like that at the start of the story and is like that at the end.

Of course exceptions to the above and what I have read are kink ficts/porn because the point of those are titillation not characterization.

Also there is a non zero chance that I just don't read stories with feminization of the bottom in it? Like outside of AO3 there are no tags for such but maybe I just don't like the vibes and didn't bother? 🤷 I used to read some wild stuff around 2003/2004-ish (that I probably shouldn't have been reading tbh) so maybe it's in that soup of memory for me?? Dunno.

Walk with me, I have a thought.

Women, when pregnant, sometimes get accelerated hair growth. It grows thicker, longer, etc and not just on their head.

Male omegas that are pregnant - do they grow thicker beards or are finally able to grow beards or does it fall out with the (assumed) rush of estrogen?

I usually write it as their beard falls out but like then I thought on the factoid I started this ask with and that one trans dude that was pregnant some years ago had a full beard If I recall correctly.

Tldr: will Bruce have a full beard when the twins are born, be clean shaven or still be scruffy like he was in BvS?

Thank you so much! Hopefully getting another chapter out today. As for Bruce’s facial hair in that fic, I’ve been writing him as keeping it. I don’t personally love the trope of male omegas becoming more feminine during pregnancy, esp since I wrote this world as single sex a/b/o. That’s also why Bruce was still scruffy etc when he was heavily suppressed.

What will it look like when the twins are born? Folks will just have to wait and see 😈

They have a code for when they need the healing pool (aka the Stock Pot) to let whoever is in the Cave to add to the pool in the form of potions and certain herbs.

Jamaican Oregano/Pot/Weed - Dittany

Bone Broth - Skelegrow

Night Night/Chamomile - Dreamless Sleep

Blood Sausages - Blood replinisher

Offal - organ regeneration potion

Lucky Charms - antidepressant/draught of peace

Ice - Fever reducer

Wheetabix - Generic poison antidote

Red Bull - Adrenaline shot

Bitter orange - joker venom antidote

Lavender - fear toxin antidote

And a level of spice is given to indicate who the pool is made for. Mild is for the human non magical, Medium for the magicals. Hot for metas (usually Duke but occasionally a Flash). Super Hot for Kryptonians. Super Spicy for Conner. Numbing Spice for the twins (and other ecto entities).

If they have a lot going on, instead of reading off the whole list they just say "I need all 11 original herbs and spices" which is alarming but it's what it is to be a vigilante in Gotham. 🤷

With further thoughts - the only kids that doesn't call Harry 'Mum' or a variation thereof is just Tom, Dick and Steph. Tom because he wants to keep his thin veneer of 'its not incest because they are my parents', Dick because he loves his parents and held a grudge against Harry for a long time (but he will tell the others to "go to your mom" or "your mother is here") and Steph because she's his niece not his kid so he calls him Uncle Harry instead.

Like Harper and Cullen eventually call him Mum but that is separate in their minds from their Mom, Miranda. They see Jason easily do the same thing with calling Harry Mum while the very alive Catherine is called Mama or Moms. He also says he has two Moms and a dad (technically he has 3 moms and 2 dads but bio material donor and containers don't count) and lords this over the rest until Harper gets into it with him because her and Cullen have the same even though one of their moms are dead.

Tim, who has called Harry and Bruce Mum and Dad since he was 5 and both of his parents were alive, just takes in the chaos his siblings bring.

Sometimes they - the not Mum trio - slip and call Harry Mum like either dire circumstances or just they are responding with their siblings so they just auto call him Mum. Jazz also occasionally slips and calls Harry Mum in the field. She blushes a little and moves on but is settled with it once she marred Jason since Harry at that point is her Mother(in-law).

Abigail doesn't call Harry Mum. He has always been Uncle Harry to her just like Damian calls her parents Uncle Neville and Aunt Hannah. Duke also calls him Uncle Harry because of Abigail.

Conner wears his in civvies clothes when he is around friends that do not know he's half Kryptonian as an accessory. Sometimes they do have music playing from his phone but most of the time they are off and he's just using them as an excuse as to how he was hearing one of his siblings call him all the way from Wayne Manor when he's in the Fashion District. They called him and he picked up on his headphones. It's silly to think he had some Looney toons ass power like Superman

Also none of his civilian friends understand why Conner has beef with Superman and Supergirl. He never elaborates lol.

I have a potentially rancid thought.

Jack and Maddie are deeply ecto contaminated because Jack doesn't get in a decon shower after dealing with ectoplasm (Jack Fenton is the face of a man who never washes his hands after using the restroom and I will PERISH on this hill) so when they woohoo he's getting all that ectoplasm all up in Maddie's mucus membranes leading me to the conclusion that

Their hazmat suits are keeping their contamination in and shielding them from being tracked/sensed as ecto beings.

If jazz for some godforsaken reason had went in the portal instead of Danny, she has just as much chance as he did to become a halfa and only by the sheer meddling of CW she didnt therefore

There is a timeline where all the Fentons are halfas.
