Dennis Durrell executed the final painting for Dorothy’s portrait with Tom and Jerry from a drawing I made, which heavily borrowed from a publicity portrait of Tom and Jerry from the 1940s. “Tom and Jerry and The Wizard of Oz” 2011.

One character I would've loved to see in the scrapped Oswald cartoon is Dennis the Duck! He's a rubberhose toon created for a House of Mouse episode who's whole schtick is saying "have a sandwich!" and throwing sandwiches at people's faces, but he's also Donald's biggest fan, and I think he would be a perfect friend for Oswald in addition to Cliff.

dennis the duck was a placeholder for oswald the lucky rabbit in 2000s for house of mouse but disney at the time didn't have the rights for oswald.

so dennis was born/created for that.

I think this is my favorite concept (leak ma balls)

This is a reference to Deviantart users (the massive hatred towards Mortimer and fetishism)

The name "Draw my nose" refers to two things: the drawings dedicated to Mortimer in said app and the "peculiar" shape of his nose...

If I'm not mistaken in "Leak ma que balls" Mickey talks about the topic of people who fall in love with a Waifu who has a somewhat youthful appearance (it doesn't matter that she is older than the Planet Earth). Mortimer would talk about people who create somewhat curious Ships (big difference in ages, family members, etc) and how people justify it by saying that it is a method of "personal alleviation" or that they're just pixels

We had an idea to make the DVD cover harken back to the Tom and Jerry illustrations of the 50’s and 60’s, so I tasked Dennis Durrell with making this painting of my layout. Even though the powers that be weren’t interested in pursuing that style for the cover, I thought that Dennis did a fantastic job of getting the look and feel of those earlier illustrations.
