"Irulan Corrino is her father's eldest, his most favoured and dearest child. The one most akin to him but still never considered enough. Especially for him and his ambitions. Whether it be due to her gender, her limited abilities in the weirding ways regardless of her mother's legacy and direct tutelage etc.

How her parents have both reduced her accomplishments in their preparations to make her to be little more than a bargaining chip, despite her intellect, cunning and own strengths. Whose own name is little more than an anagram of her mother's.
