Could you make a post about Rudlos
Rudlós

Also known as Wā́tonos and Léudheros.
He is the wild god of alcohol, frenzy, wild nature, poetry, shamanism, and arcane wisdom; he's a sender and a healer of plagues.
The name Rudlós derives either from rewd-, "rend, tear apart", or from rew-, "howl". So his name could be understood as "The Howler".
From his descendants we can see epithets of Rudlós as "the Frightening one" or "The Three-Eyed one". He sends diseases and also heals them, so he's invoked both as a lord of remedies and so that he doesn't send plagues.
This source has Wā́tonos (Proto Indo-European name from which comes later Woden and Odin) as another name or aspect of Rudlós, no doubt because of his role as god of frenzy, arcane wisdom and the wild hunt (Odin's name means "Lord of Frenzy"). So he could also be understood as the ancestor of Odin and related deities.
According to said source, Rudlós is one of the Ghṃgṇ̄tṓs, twelve ancient deities who arose from the sacrifice of Yemós and ruled before the Déiwōs. Rudlós married his sister Anghésonā and became the father of Páusōn and the Mā́wortes, gods of war, leaded by the god Mā́worts.

Rudlós part 2.5: Additional possible cognates
Some other possible reflexes of Rudlos are much harder to prove and provide, in my opinion, little additional detail. They might corroborate previously shown characteristics. Many of these are Celtic(Gaulic) deities who are poorly attested but whose symbology may be more helpful than the very poorly attested, but linguistically relevant, Rudianos/Rudiobus. Many continental Germanic and Celtic deities are represented by kennings and epithets, rather than their 'original' names. As Ceisiwr Serith (2009) suggests in his book about ancient PIE religion, this may have been common for many cultures descended from the PIE language groups; to utter the name of a god was to attract their attention, which was not always desired. And to shower one in descriptive epithets was to prove devotion and knowledge of them in prayer.
Faunus/Silvanus
The name Faunus is generally thought to stem from Proto-Italic *fawe or *fawono (variant *fawōn(jo)), cognate with Umbrian fons(foner) meaning 'merciful'. It may ultimately derive from PIE *bʰh₂u-n ('favourable'), which also reflects Old Irish búan ('good, favourable, firm') and Middle Welsh bun ('maiden, sweetheart').
Another theory(Briquel, 1974, and Sergent, 1991) contends that Faunus is the Latin outcome of PIE *dhau-no- ('the strangler', thus denoting the 'wolf'. Somehow.), a proposition suggested by the fact that the two Luperci ("wolf-men", from Latin lupus, 'wolf') are commonly treated as temporary priests of the god Faunus.
He strongly associated with Pan, and would alter be depicted in a similar manner. However, the oldest depictions do not ascribe bestial features to him at all. It is believed that he was worshiped by traditional Roman farmers in another capacity before he became a nature deity. He was associated directly by the ancient, and at times seemingly identical, Lupercus.
The name Silvānus is a derivation from Latin silva ('forest, wood'). It is cognate with the Latin words silvester ('wild, not cultivated'), silvicola ('inhabiting woodlands') or silvaticus ('of woodlands or scrub'). The earlier etymology of silva is unclear.
He was associated with Mars, who is also sometimes depicted wearing a wolf's pelt, and seeing as Cato refers to him consistently as Mars Silvanus, giving him a warlike, martial aspect, and a solid wolf connection. Silvanus as an aspect of Mars combined with his association with forests and glades, give context to the worship of Silvanus as the giver of the art of forest(read ambush/mobile stealthy) warfare. In particular, the initiation rituals of the Evocati appear to have referenced Silvanus as a protective god of raiding for women and cattle. Some have argued that this could be Etruscan influence but it would line up very well with our already established character of Rudlos as a god of aggressive warfare, wild nature, and the village plundering, cattle/women stealing Koryos/Mannerbund.
Hraste and Vukovic connect Faunus/Silvanus to Rudra/Shiva. To qoute:
" Contemporary history of religion affirms that Roman Faunus and Silvanus represent the same divinity. This article argues for the Indo-European parallel between Faunus/Silvanus and Vedic Rudra/Shiva based on several similarities. They both possess two names that should be interpreted thus: one as wild and savage (Silvanus/Rudra) and the other as favorable and propitious (Faunus/Shiva). The male divinity can appear in both the plural and the singular, or he can have a homonymous female counterpart (Faunus/Fauna/Fauni — Rudra/Rudrání/Rudrás). They have a cult and abode distinct from other gods, closely associated with woods and wilderness. They are in special relation to animals, cattle, in particular. They have common abilities, such as healing all creatures. Their destructive character puts them in relation to the god of war. Poetry is the function of Faunus while Rudra's sons, the Maruts, accompanying Indra on his martial exploits, sing hymns of praise"

Cocidius
Silvanus as been identified in Romano-British religion with a northern Brittonic deity, Cocidius. He was also equated with Mars, in his capacity as a god of war and hunting, and also with Silvanus, as a god of forests, groves and wild fields. He was most likely worshiped by lower-ranked Roman soldiers, as well as by the Britons for whom he was probably a tribal god(a Genius Loci). The name may be related to Brittonic cocco-('red'), suggesting that statues of the god might have been painted red, and connecting him to Celtic reflexes of Rudlos, Rudianos and Rudiobus. His epithet Vernostonus connects him to Alder trees, which are associated with poetry, and the gods Apollon and Odin, and Dyeus Pter.
*U̯ātonos by Senobessus Bolgon
Visucius/Cissonius/U̯ātonos
Delamarre suggests a couple of meanings for Visucius, ranging from ‘Crow’ or ‘Raven’ from *uisuco or *uesākos to ‘who knows’, ‘who foretells’’ or ‘who sees’, possibly derived from *witsu. Olmstead however argues that it could mean ‘the Worthy’, coming from *Wesu. While the etymology is controversial, they all seem to point back towards a Rudlos-cognate. He is likely connected to the 'Gaulish Mercury' whose identity remains complicated but very well could be a transplanted Wodanaz. Senobessus Bolgon, a blog dedicated to Gaulish Polytheism, has a great article on the reconstructed Gaulish U̯ātonos you can read here.
Visucius was connected by by the romans via interpretatio with Mercury, and according to Miranda Green via epigraphy recorded byJan de Vries, with Mars as well. His name and associations could indicate him being a psychopomp and a deity of eloquence, trade, traveling, knowledge, oaths, magic. Mercury was also associated with the god Lugus, who shares all of the above qualities. If Visucius is similar or identical to Lugus, we may be able to assume that he is also similar to Germanic Wotan/Odin. This is likely because of the cultural cross-pollination between eastern Gaulish and continental Germanic tribes.
Not nearly as much is to be said for Cissionius, other than that the name is almost as common as Visucius in Belgic regions. According to Green, Cissionius also had a doublet goddess by the name of Cissionia, much like how Visucius had one called Visucia. For these reasons, as well as Senobessus Bolgon treats both Visucius and Cissionius as the same deity, as will we.
Lugh, Cu Chulainn, Oisín and Fionn Mac Cumhaill.
I forgot to add these last time, but I've finally remembered to return to this post. Irish religion, especially the details of its deities, can be very hard to nail down due their euhemerization or christian alteration. However, I think aspects/cognates of Rudlos can most certainly be found in Ireland.
I previously spoken about the connection between Odin, Fenrir, Lugh and Cu Chulainn, in Rudlos Part 2, Comparison of Cognates, under the section about Odin. For ease however, I'm going to paste it below.
"I also think this relates to the myths of Fenrir and Irish Cú Chulainn, who parallel each other in some interesting ways. And keep in mind that Irish religion before christian influence would likely be among the most conservative traditions. Cú Chulainn took over the role of a guard dog as a lad, like Fenrir was taken to Asgard to live among the gods despite the punishment of his siblings. He needed to be submerged in three vats of water to quell his war rage where he was dangerous to friend and foe, and Fenrir was bound three times. When Cú Chulainn is killed, after tying himself to the standing stone/menhir, a figure of sovereignty similar to Tyr, Lugh "of the Long arm" cuts his head off, then the sword falls from Cú Chulainn and cuts Lugh's hand off just as Fenrir bites of Tyr's hand after being bound to a mountain.
Here's the really interesting thing, the myth of Fenrir and Tyr was made around the same time as the Ulfhednar were banned and considered outlaws in the Norse kingdoms. This may also explain why his father is the outlaw/trickster Loki and not the heavily wolf associated god of the Ulfhednar, Oðinn. From this point of view, Fenrir might even be a hypostasis of Oðinn in his berserker, frenzy aspect."
This would all seem to make Cu Chulainn a cognate of Rudlos. His name meaning "hound" and his berserker rage makes it particularly clear to me. He is traditionally thought to be an incarnation of Lugh, and he is son. Lugh himself is famed for his use of the spear, as is the Welsh Lleu Llaw Gyffes, but his other aspects give him much more in common with Dyeus or the Hellenic Athena. He is commonly thought to be the Irish expression of the pan-Celtic god Lugus, however this has been questioned.
Lugus has no widely accepted etymology, however he has been connected to Hamel and Maier proposed a derivation from proto-Celtic *lugus ("lynx"), perhaps used allusively to mean "warrior", but an article by John Carey found the evidence for the existence of such a word in proto-Celtic lacking. Other etymologies derive "Lugus" from the name of the Norse Loki, proto-Celtic *luc- ("mouse" or "rat"), and Gaulish lougos ("raven"). You may note that mice and ravens are animals closely associated with Rudlos, as is being a warrior. However, aside from the spear connection, I feel there are no solid grounds to call Lugh, Lleu, or Lugus a cognate of Rudlos.
Fionn mac Cumhaill, who will be referenced further as Fionn, is the leader of the Fianna bands of young roving hunter-warriors(very Koryos sounding, no?), as well as being a seer and poet. His famous tale of catching the Salmon of Wisdom is quest to gain said wisdom from a source of water(symbolically representing chaos in early IE thought), not unlike Odin's and Rudra's. He is often depicted hunting with his hounds Bran and Sceólang, and fighting with his spear and sword, and is himself rather young. Macgnímartha Finn is specifically about his boyhood exploits, adding to his youthful association. Water drunk from his hands is also said to heal even the most severe wounds. He is also said to have been taught the art of war and hunting by a woman called Liath Luachra("Grey One of Luachair"), who bears some similar it Scathach and her relationship to Cu Chulainn.
In Old Irish, Finn/Fionn means "white, bright, lustrous; fair, light-hued (of complexion, hair, etc.); fair, handsome, bright, blessed; in moral sense, fair, just, true". It is cognate with Primitive Irish VENDO- (found in names from Ogam inscriptions), Welsh gwyn (cf. Gwyn ap Nudd), Cornish gwen, Breton gwenn, Continental Celtic and Common Brittonic*uindo- (a common element in personal and place names), and comes from the Proto-Celtic adjective masculine singular *windos. The name seems rather generic but does bring to mind the descriptors used for Hellenic Apollon, and occasional Vedic Rudra. In myth, his mother initially named him Deimne(literally "sureness" or "certainty", also a name that means a young male deer) and several legends tell how he gained the name Fionn when his hair turned prematurely white.
He is also married to Sadhbh, who is also called Sive, pronounced the same. We're gonna get into her very soon in the second part of Rtkona series, but suffice it to say she is pretty convincing cognate and particularly my theory that Rtkona and Rudlos are lovers.
They had a son together, Oisín, who was regarded in legend as the greatest poet of Ireland, a warrior of the Fianna in the Ossianic or Fenian Cycle of Irish mythology. His name literally means "young deer", in refernce to his mother. He is also considered a demigod, and given the age of his character and mythos, he reinforces the divinity of his parents.
Lets circle back to Bran and Sceólang, whose names mean "Raven" and "Survivor" respectively. Bran is typically male, while Sceolang is typically female, but their are a few variations. The hounds' mother, Uirne, was transformed into a dog while pregnant, hence the canine birth of her twin children. While Uirne is returned to full humanity after giving birth to her pups, Bran and Sceólang remain hounds throughout the duration of their mythos. As Uirne is the sister of Fionn's mother Muirne, Bran and Sceólang would be their masters' cousins.
I think the arguement for the relation of Cu Chulainn, Fionn, and perhaps even Oison is rather strong and more than worth updating this post.

Orion(also Dionysus, sorta)
This one is also a stretch but I feel there are some shocking connections when you dig into it.
Orion was a Gigas huntsman, companion of the goddess Artemis, who Zeus (or maybe Artemis herself) placed among the stars as the constellation of Orion.
The stories of his birth are numerous, his death even more so. I will link his wikipedia article here, as it covers most of the relevant details of one does not wish to go through each individual account.
The parts of most importance are this:
He was blinded and regained his sight(think of Odin's lost eye)
The star Sirius is called his dog(In India, it was associated with Rudra), As are Canis Major and Canis Minor.
Went to Crete where he hunted with Artemis and her mother Leto, and threatened to kill every beast on Earth.
Gaia (Apollon in some versions, disapproving of his sister's relationship with a male) objected and sent a giant scorpion to kill Orion.
It succeeded in killing him, and after his death, the two goddesses asked Zeus to place Orion among the constellations.
In several versions, Eos(very ancient IE goddess) falls in love with him and takes him to Delos, where Artemis kills him.
In one version, he plans to marry Artemis, before Apollon orchestrates his death.
Artemis mourns him greatly
His name may come from the ancient Greek word oros, which means "mountain". It may also come from the word horion, which means "boundary" or "limit". Both seem fair origins and either could reasonably relate to an epithet of Rudlos. However, it has also been argued, very speculatively, that it come from Akkadian Uru-anna, meaning “heaven's light”.
Orion had a hero cult in the region of Boeotia(the area surrounding Thebes). The number of places associated with his birth suggest that it was widespread. Hyria, the most frequently mentioned, was in the center of Boeotia. A feast of Orion was held there as late as the Roman Empire. Maurice Bowra argues that Orion was a national hero of the Boeotians, much as Castor and Pollux were for the Dorians. He bases this claim on the Athenian epigram on the Battle of Coronea in which a hero gave the Boeotian army an oracle, then fought on their side and defeated the Athenians.
I want you to keep in mind the panhellenic hero cult of Herakles, who is widely regarded as a cognate of the IE thunder god, Perkwunos, was also believed to have been a historic mortal man and even had several graves where his body was believed to have been laid to rest. Orion also had a grave in Boeotia, at the foot of Mount Cerycius(Now Tanagra), enhancing his mountain connection. Indeed, if Orion was once Rudlos, it is very possible aspects of his myth and cult split off from him and on to other deities, namely his more establish but originally Anatolian cognate, Apollon. Dionysus was similarly euhemerized although this happened much later.
Also keep in mind, Orion is not a human, but a member of the Gigantes, often translated as Giants, although they were no more than a foot taller than the average Greek, not the monsters that snap trees like tooth-picks they are often depicted as. Gigantes were known for their size and strength, and were considered the children of Gaia. Orion himself was considered to be the pinnacle of mortal hunting ability, and incredibly strong. The current consensus, backed up by Homer, is that Orion's name, myth, and cult, predate the naming of the constellation.
In Dionysus (1976), Karl Kerényi portrays Orion as a shamanic hunting hero, surviving from Minoan times (hence his association with Crete). Kerényi derives Hyrieus (and Hyria) from the Cretan dialect word ὕρον hyron, meaning "beehive", which survives only in ancient dictionaries. From this association he turns Orion into a representative of the old mead-drinking cultures, overcome by the wine masters Oenopion and Oeneus. (The Greek for "wine" is oinos.) Fontenrose cites a source stating that Oenopion taught the Chians how to make wine before anybody else knew how.
In some versions, he is the son of Poseidon, who grants him the power to walk on water.
Joseph Fontenrose wrote Orion: the Myth of the Hunter and the Huntress (1981) to show Orion as the type specimen of a variety of grotesque hero. He views him as similar to Cú Chulainn, that is, stronger, larger, and more potent than ordinary men and the violent lover of the Divine Huntress.
The Boeotian school of epic poetry was primarily focused with the genealogies of the gods and heroes. Several other myths are attached to Orion in this way: A papyrus fragment of the Boeotian poet Corinna gives Orion fifty sons (a traditional number). This included the oracular hero Acraephen, who gave a response to Asopus regarding Asopus' daughters who were abducted by the gods. Corinna sang of Orion conquering and naming all the land of the dawn. Bowra argues that Orion was believed to have delivered oracles as well, probably at a different shrine.
The stories surrounding Orion resemble those of several other mythical hunters of the Boeotian region. The hunter Kephalos (Cephalus), for example, was also said to have been seduced by the goddess Eos. Another, Aktaion (Actaeon), was similarly killed by Artemis while out hunting. And finally, the earth-born Boeotian giant Tityos attempted to violate the goddess Leto(just as Orion assaulted Opis/Artemis) and was destroyed by Apollon and Artemis with their arrows.
Now, as a Hellenist, I would argue the myth involving Apollon orchestrating Orion's death is one to be interpreted as illustrating the function of Apollon as the god who brings us back to reason. u/messageofapollo over on reddit made a small post in r/Hellenism that I feel sums up an excellent Hellenist reading of the story, which I will link here.
However, in the name of PIE reconstructionism I would also argue this interpretation of that same myth: It may also represent the cult of Apollon, who would become a symbol of Greek-ness(Hellenismos, if you will) itself and one of the most widely spread and consistent cults of Greece, overtaking what remained of Orion's and retaking what it had once been and much more. A cognate of Rudlos circumventing and usurping another cognate, albeit a small, euhemerized one, to great acclaim.
It also like to you to take a look at this article by Michael Janda, specifically section 2 which starts on page 4. It compares a myth of Rudra defending Ushas from Prajapati to the myth of Orion, specifically the version involving Eos. They're connections to the same stars, the same symbols, and a remarkably similar narrative. I do not agree with all of his conclusions, including his statement that a parallel between Greek and Indic sources = it's definitely PIE, but they're both archaic enough I'm also not too worried and about mutual influence. I don't think the PIE's drank wine either, although they almost certainly had some form of alcohol.
I'd also caution that while I see his point, I do not believe Artemis to be all that reflexive of the Dawn Goddess. Rather, I think the relevance is in her being his sister. And while Eos/Ushas and her earlier incarnations could have held a consistent nocturnal role, I don't see strong evidence for it.
Later in the article he makes an argument for the reflexive nature of Dionysus, which I feel is largely adequate. I'm not personally motivated much by Dionysus as a cognate, even if he indeed is. He has been altered so heavily I don't feel he adds much to the table.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's take a step back, look at all the cognates. We have very well documented, direct attestations, in the Germanic, Vedic, and an Anatolian/Greek cognate that backs up both very well. A pair poorly understood potential cognates in the Roman tradition. A whole series of Celtic cognates, back up by linguistics, comparative mythology, and by Interpretatio romana. And a possible Greek reflex, not of Rudlos himself, but perhaps his relationship with Rtkona.

some astro notes on the EYES
- pisces, especially revati nakshatra can either have very expressive eyes or a blank stare; a gaze that's here, but "not here," a far-off look
- a strong influence of pitta - firey, hot planets like the sun & mars, malefic planets in fire signs can lead to "discolored" eyes that are not a bright white but may have an off-white or yellowish tint
- the whiteness of the eyes is associated with femininity, which corresponds with the water and earth element. kapha tends to give bright white eyes
- ardra nakshatra's deity is rudra, the terrifying form of lord shiva, who is said to have red eyes in some depictions
ardra natives are associated with red eyes and can have a wild, fierce look about them.
ardra is also associated with red eyes via its crying symbolism
& being a rahuvian nakshatra, is inclined to smoke 🌿
- leo rising can potentially bestow "yellow eyes," more prominently in males
- scorpio risings are said to have "power in their eyes," meaning they are very observant and see what people are doing. their eyes can be commanding & intimidating, as well as alluring, scorpio being a water sign
scorpio risings can be observant in a psychological sense, such as a observing body language and trying to gauge emotions and intentions from that, or studying micro facial expressions; observant in the occult sense of observing dreams, astrological studies, etc.
- rahu's nakshatras (ardra, swati, shatabisha) are extremely observant of their surroundings and the physical world they are placed in. immersed in the sights, sounds, smells of their environment, often leading to big, childlike eyes - full of wonder, soaking in the sights & sounds of the world
- the fire element represents vision, so afflictions to the fire signs may afflict the eyesight, depending on planetary conditions
- ashlesha natives have alluring, cat-like eyes that pull you in. eye makeup such as kohl or kajal and mascara can enhance this quality
- chitra natives can have big eyes that tend to narrow significantly when they smile, as well as rohini
- revati, bharani, krittika and venusian natives are good at acting with their eyes. they can excel at dance and can express different emotions with their eyes
- bharani natives can make excellent actors and performers due to being able to cry on command, & how dramatically they can express different emotions and invoke different emotions and reactions in audiences
bharani natives are also prone to crying and may often burst out in tears, though they may not like to show this aspect of themselves
bharani is associated with childbirth and babies who are prone to crying to express emotion.

SHIVA’S ENTOURAGE:
Ardra, Mula, Purvabhadrapada and Uttarabhadrapada
The truth-bringers, psychics, mystics and occultists.
All of these Nakshatras connect back to Shiva, but how?
Let’s learn more about the lore surrounding the deity Shiva, and how he is the key thread between all of these Nakshatras.
THE ORIGINS OF SHIVA:
In Vedic lore the big 3 creator gods are: Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva. They are thought to create the reality we live in now.
However, Shiva wasn’t always known as “Shiva” here’s how he came to be:
Firstly, Brahma was creating the world and needed help, so he created more people to help him with the task of creating earth.
However, once these people were in existence, they disobeyed him, dismissed his commands, and pursued their own journeys.
This made Brahma angry, so angry that his brows furrowed together so hard that and little purple baby-like enitity popped out from inbetween his eyebrows.
This entity that appeared is known as “Rudra”.
Brahma named him “Rudra” which means “howler” “the crier” “the one who howls”. Since when he was born he was screaming and howling. He was born out of anger and distress.
However, Rudra went on to help Brahma in his task of creating the earth. Rudra began populating Earth with people. Except the “people” he populated it with were angry monster-like creatures. He was causing destruction inadvertently.
So Brahma told him he needed to control his anger and he that could master himself through the discipline of yoga.
So Rudra takes his advice and goes on a pilgrimage to the top of a mountain, where he mastered the practice of yoga and then returns to Brahma.
Upon returning to Brahma, Brahma gives him the new name “Shiva” which means: “calm, benevolent, peaceful”.
Through his evolution he maintained his true essence of being a “destroyer” but ultimately learned how to control and direct his energy in a positive way. His tendencies are to destroy in the name of truth, knowledge and enlightenment.
It’s important to note that Rudra is the same deity as Shiva, just in his raw, unfiltered form.
RUDRA’S VIBE:
Rudra is the fierce and powerful deity associated with storms.
He is the untamed version of Shiva.
He is known to be angry, wild, destructive and fierce.
Whilst other deities have luxurious dwellings, Rudra lives in crematoriums and graveyards. He’s thought to be a vagabond, he doesn’t have a singular resting place. He is considered the outcast amongst other deities.
His physical appearance is said to be unkempt and wild, uncombed hair, smeared face with crematorium ashes.
Rudra doesn’t care about the superficial desires, yet constantly strives to discover spiritual truth, discarding whatever doesn’t align with that truth.
He strives to destroy falsities and illusions.
This is not a deity known to bestow prosperity or grants superficial wishes. He’s a deity that’ll destroy illusions that reveal truth.
He won’t maintain the comfort your delusions bring you. He will pull you out of them, violently.
He’s interested in the deeper parts of life, the occult, mysticism, philosophy etc.
*KEY NOTE: Rudra has 11 avatars that manifest different forms of his energy. *
———————————————————————
HOW ARE THESE FOUR NAKSHATRAS CONNECTED?
Ardra, Mula, Purvabhadrapada and Uttarabhadrapada.
Remember Rudra/Shiva are the same thing, just different forms. Rudra has 11 avatars.
ARDRA’S deity is: Rudra
Rudra is the fierce form of Shiva
MULA’S deity is: Nirriti
Nirriti is thought to be a similar form of Rudra
PURVABHADRAPADA’S deity is: Eja Ekapada
Eja Ekapada is one of the 11 Rudra avatars
UTTARABHADRAPADA’S deity is: Ahir Budhya
Ahir Budhya is one of the 11 Rudra avatars
ARDRA, MULA and THE BHADRAPADAS: COSMIC SOULMATES. 🪐
You’ll find that these Nakshatras are always bound together, in relationships, friendships and family lineages. Where one of them exists, they are somehow involved with the other.
Check If you have Mula, Ardra, Purvabhadrapada or Uttarabhadrapada in your big three or as Atmakaraka, then you are attracted to other individuals with this same placements.
THEIR COMMON PURPOSE IN LIFE:
➤ These individuals all hold a common purpose: bringing truth to the world.
➤ These individuals struggle especially in early life. They usually have to overcome some harrowing obstacles before achieving true success in life.
➤ They are burdened with the ability to see beyond the veil, so much so that it alienates them from others, due to the knowledge they possess.
➤ They are often outcasted amongst their peers, they are seen as different, unusual and mystical. They don’t fit into mainstream society.
➤ Metaphorically they are the shamans dwelling on the outskirts of society, meant to guide others bc of the truth they hold.
➤ They help to wake people up, and elevate society with knowledge and truth.
➤ They are meant to be teachers.
➤ Much like Rudra/Shiva himself they strive for truth often ignoring the superficial pleasures in life. They prefer not to get drunk in the illusion of Maya but they prefer getting to the bottom of things, ripping the veil away.
➤ From a young age, they intuitively know there’s a deeper meaning life, and they strive to discover it.
➤ Getting to the root of it all, because for them life is meaningless without truth.
➤ They each have a destructive tendencies each in their own ways. But their destructiveness has purpose to it, leading to transformation of their lives and those around them with the behavior.
What Ardra, Mula and The Bhadrapadas all have in common:

Soul Purpose/Why Are You Here?

Disclaimer: Tarot is not an evidence-based practice. You are in charge of making your own decisions.
Pile 1: Abundance
Hey pile 1! You picked the Abundance oracle card. Your tarot cards are the 2 of Swords, 3 of Swords, and the King of Cups.
As I was shuffling I was focusing on the imagery of your oracle card. I strongly got the feeling of being kind of put on the spot. You are having to make quick decisions. It's like the shape in the center of the card has so much going on around it. It's chaotic! The figures filling the picture look like sea creatures to me - sea urchins, those glowy jellyfish that live in the bottom of the ocean, sand dollars... All floating around in the current but in this big, condensed cluster. It's kinda dark in there but there's some sun coming through the current above.
Under sea kelp beds, that's the environment. You're here:
You're not quite sure what all you're going to come across. Cute fish... shark... friendly anthropomorphic sea otter wearing a news cap and suspenders... multiple sharks...
It's a little creepy/ominous but more importantly very beautiful and serene and otherworldly.
You're swimming through this kelp garden and you don't know what you're going to find, and all kinds of different things are going to pop out at you, you're going to have a lot of options in a lot of different areas in your life. You are not going to be someone who is stationary for very long. I think if you are stagnant and still (something you may struggle with) you aren't happy. You are bored more easily than others and have a deep craving for knowledge and novelty, absorbing every last drop of life that you can.
I think in human design, generator people's tell-tale sign for being out of alignment is frustration, they thrive off of having choices to pick from. This helps them feel inspired and like they are getting more out of life. Maybe you are a generator in human design, I think that is the most common type. You are a person of the people, you are salt of the earth, you care deeply for humanity and always pull yourself back to center when you catch yourself straying. You don't let things get to your head as much as you could.
It also looks like there's a chromosome in the center shape on the card. You are here unraveling karma from your past lives and for your ancestors. You are probably dealing with karma that you didn't create personally but exists in your bloodline. The bottom of the deck is the ten of swords - there are mostly sword cards here, with the king of cups standing out as the only water card. This is very Ardra energy in vedic astrology - strong, turbulent, powerful and stormy emotions. Ardra's deity is Rudra, a form of Shiva - who rules over storms. You are clearing out ooooold emotions that have been rotting in your family tree for years. You are finally processing some long-neglected baggage and releasing it.
The combination of the progression of the two to the three of swords, ending with the King of Cups suggests to me that you are going to become a true master of your inner world. Your lens you look at the world through will reach a level of clarity previously unknown to you and likely to your family. You are in tune with the environment in an electric way, sensing the humming and buzzing and shifts in the pitch and tone of the current washing around you. You let it all pass through you, understanding the futility in pretending to be unaffected. You let it pass through you, and you let it be there, and you don't let it shake you. For this reason others will cling to you - the RWS King of Cups sits on a throne carved from solid stone. It is anchored in tossing waves with a grey sky suggesting storms ahead. He looks calmly onward. People will view you as a shock-absorber, someone who can weather catastrophe and guide others through difficulty. I think this is where you are headed, but maybe aren't there quite yet.
Other people might get away (or at least seem to) with pushing aside their pain and never really dealing with it. You aren't one of these people. Your path to fulfillment is through making difficult decisions, sometimes ones where there really isn't a good option. Some of these decisions could affect other people as well. I see this as your heart existing in your head. So much compassion in tandem with a razor-sharp mind. Highly analytical, meticulous, maybe even fussy, combined with glowing warmth that can only be achieved by facing hardship.
There could be a significant male figure in your life who guides you, and you may not recognize the significance of his impact on your life until he's no longer in it. This might be someone you only know for a short period of time before parting ways. Maybe at the time of meeting them it's too overwhelming for you and it doesn't end so well, but the more you digest the relationship over time and think about what you learned from them, the deeper you understand the purity of this person, and the reasons why he navigates the world the way that he does. I think, going through hardship yourself and choosing to remain soft and gentle, you recognize this as a lesson you learned from this person. It's brave to continue believing in people. Also, it's possible to do it without being naive.
This pile knows the true meaning of unfairness. You know what it means to be made to feel selfish for taking care of yourself. You know what it means to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, to be going through immense difficulty behind the scenes and still getting through the days treating people with kindness. Yeah you just see and feel the pain in others, you sense their stories even if it's just a stranger. You probably walk away from getting coffee and wondering how the barista is handling their breakup even though that was your first encounter with them.
Pile 2: Phenomenon
So right off the bat, Chappel Roan's song Feminomenon might be of significance lol. Maybe that song you was on repeat for you this summer, or you are LGBTQ+, or in some way don't fit in with the norm. Chappel Roan is famous for her drag outfits and crazy makeup and big hair - you could be into style, fashion, hair/makeup. Or maybe you are wanting to get more into these things but don't know how? Maybe you are struggling with expressing yourself right now, and this is a recurring struggle you deal with. If you are struggling with it, I think it's because it's actually something you're really good at - I think you have a natural eye for fashion and art, it's just that you need to reconnect with this part of yourself, and that re connection process will help you get deeper and better with and at it.
Next to your Phenomenon oracle card I pulled the Nine of Cups, Ace of Cups, and the Page of Cups. So all water, you are definitely here to learn how to express your feelings. I think you often feel like sharing how you feel makes you self-centered or you're "making it all about you," even though it ironically helps your relationships because you connect with people better when you're emotionally honest with them.
I think currently you're at a pretty comfortable spot in life. You've worked really hard and have been very much in your earth energy - taking care of your body, keeping a clean home, focusing on consistency at work and in your self-care and discipline. You've worked really hard to get here, and you're finally learning how to give yourself credit for it.
However, I think it still feels like something is missing for you. Looking at your cards (from right to left), the Page of Cups is offering the Ace of Cups to the Nine of Cups. The cup you're looking for, the special sauce that you are missing right now, is connected with your inner child. I think while working on improving your earth energy has been wildly beneficial for you (maybe you're successful for your age, or just really good at keeping your shit together and running a sane life for yourself) you have lost a little bit of touch with your inner softy.
I think you're probably cringing at that too, a little bit lol. Like "man I don't have time to cry and play in my coloring book I gotta pack lunch for work tomorrow" hahahaha. But honestly, if someone has that mindset or thought process about playfulness and fun, they need that energy the most!! In your list of things to do over the weekend that keep your life tidy and chugging along, you are being called to add something wholesome and fun in there.
It's easy to get in the swing of daily living and going through the motions, and it's not wrong at all to pride yourself on your ability to keep a tidy ship. BUT lol that doesn't mean you have to lose out on some harmless chaos and unstructured fun times. You don't let yourself let your hair down as much as you could be. Obviously don't go out and go crazy and do something dangerous lol and if you're not ready to go clubbing every weekend you can start small! Maybe there's a bakery near you that you haven't tried with kick ass muffins, go try that place out. If you're really particular about cleaning your place, try cleaning it in a more 'chill' way if that makes sense lol. Try out letting go of intensity and a "I just need to get this done" attitude. Maybe that means the floors won't be as spotless after mopping than they usually are but hey, they're still clean right?
Yeah I think what's really coming through for this pile is letting going of perfection and holding yourself to unrealistic standards, so much of your power lies in fun, and not just fun but also facilitating fun. Lifting up the people around you. With the Ace of Cups in the middle of your spread, you guys are here to out pour to those around you. People are enchanted by you and think you live a charmed life, they are envious of your innocence, your lack of care for/about status and authority. It's refreshing (i mean, these are all cups cards lol) on multiple levels! You might not notice how your inner child lifts people up, and how just one conversation you have with someone leaves them feeling nourished after you walk away.
Pile 3: Vulnerability
Hey pile 3 welcome!
You guys picked the vulnerability oracle card and your tarot cards are the four of pentacles, the ace of wands, and the magician. This is the description for your oracle card:
"As the flower opens and offers itself, the butterfly says "yes." Opening and exposing ourselves to new possibility comes with risk, but also holds the potential for great reward. Be willing to share your gifts with the world, allowing the acceptance and recognition vulnerability can bring."
This one feels pretty damn straightforward haha, you guys are here to build literally any life that you want to. I am looking and these cards as a progression - the man in the four of pentacles seizes the ace of wands and becomes the magician. Literally he lets go of these four measly pentacles, grabs the magic wand, and become the magician he was always meant to become.
You guys have sooooo much power within you. Your manifesting skills are truly off the chart and it seems like right now you're not really sure what to do with this gift. I think you could be feeling overwhelmed by all the possibilities. You are probably the kind of person who has a lot of different interests, can feign commonality with just about anyone because you're smart and absorb knowledge like a sponge - so you have tidbits of information on a huge range of topics. Someone will bring up in conversation that their grandparents berry farm is suffering because of a disease or certain kind of pest in the area and you're like "oh yeah I've heard that those types of flies are invasive and it's like becoming a widespread problem" lmao.
You could be a gemini mars or north node - the tarot card associated with mars in gemini is the nine of swords - literally analysis paralysis is your guys' biggest obstacle. You have everything in your head, but you struggle to bring your creations to life. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys are some flavor of neurodivergent, maybe ADHD or on the autism spectrum. You are ahead of the times.
I think this pile is similar to pile one because I'm getting an ancestral element for you guys. I think the women in your family have packed on years of frustration because they were made to believe that they just can't build for themselves. The women in your family line have sat with huge creative potential but the fear they carried prevented them from being able to actually use it to birth their ideas into the real world. They saw their fathers and brothers and husbands go out into the world with so much confidence, maybe with less skill or more boring ideas, and create success for themselves. I think you should know that it was not all sunshine and roses for the men in your family - there was such a huge amount of pressure to achieve and earn and perform that they didn't even really get a chance to really choose what they wanted to do. They just knew that it was expected of them to do well and provide for their families.
But the women, ah there is so much rage honestly. You have the chance in this lifetime to channel not only your own creativity but that of your mother, her mother, her sisters, etc. I think when you create it's a full experience for you. Like it's not that you don't phone it in, it's that you can't. You can't make something and not be fully in it. I think this might be part of your blockage as well - you tell yourself that if something you make isn't perfect or exactly as you envisioned it in your head, then it was a waste of time. It wasn't. I think if you allow yourself to be messy and be a little more process-oriented, you can really get the ball rolling for yourself. And honestly probably process a lot of those packed on emotions from your family.
You are someone who can get quick results in things if you really put your mind to something. Right now it seems like your task is to sift through your daydreams, then after that you can start taking some little steps towards making something happen. Even if it's something tiny you do to get closer to a goal, it's still really important for you guys especially to really celebrate that. And really mean it when you celebrate! If you guys work a job you aren't crazy about to pay the bills like so many of us do, maybe you have been drained or just don't see how you have the time to make one of your interests something more than just an idea in your head.
This is going to be a process of re-parenting yourself in a way. If you belittle your accomplishments and progress towards the things you really want to bring into the world, they will slowly shrivel up. You wouldn't make fun of a kid for trying something new and not being amazing at it, so you can't do that with yourself. You deserve support and love on your journey, not only that but you need it! You have the power to create the space for yourself to thrive in, and then thrive in it! You guys are honestly like buzzing with electricity. I think sometimes you have so many ideas that you get confused and tired just thinking about all of them, and maybe you act out in frustration but your not even sure why your upset. There are parts of yourself that have not been given enough attention, and once you start letting them out in the light they can show you what they can help you do in this life.
I think too that getting more in touch with your sexuality will help with this process, getting more in your body and letting yourself feel sexy and sensual, really being in the moment with your body and then carrying that energy with you in your endeavors. Yeah let yourself be a horndog lol it will help you reach your goals
Best of luck pile 3, not that I think you need it hahaha

I love that I have an autistic obsession with tornadoes and you have an autistic obsession with sirens...does this make us mortal enemies or does this make us allies❓ 2. The siren probably wasn't going off because the tornado fucking ate it, that thing's an F4 out of a scale of F0 to F5, F4s basically destroy absolutely everything and F5's are near apocalyptic and can suck asphalt off the road and leave everything behind them looking like a desert
youtube
I fucking hate it when storm chaser channels insert goofy dramatic stock music over their videos because like PLEASE motherfucking leave the original audio in I promise it is so much more unnerving than that stupid ass marvel cinematic ass bullshit you replace the audio with
#my obsession with tornadoes comes from both my religion and my boyfriend#One of the things Rudra is deity over is storms#and my boyfriend likened me to a tornado when I go hater slaying#witnessing an I think F2 tornado was one of the things that lead me towards the person I am today#and since all of that I have become absolutely obsessed with tornadoes#also I have autism so I am prone to weird obsessions#everyone here is autistic so yall all know how it is

Purva Bhadrapada (Aquarius) natives most likely had an inexplicable attraction towards unicorns and dragons as children, and probably still do as adults.
Aja Ekapada, or “the unborn, one footed one”, is the deity of this nakshatra. He is one of the Rudras and is the fire dragon. In general, these natives find all mythical creatures to be of immense interest and appeal.

The Spectrum of Femininity & Cancer Rashi: A Study
in my previous posts, i had delved into why Punarvasu & Pushya women are often considered the feminine ideal and the various archetypes they present on the screen and in real life (look out for more posts regarding the same!!) and i had mentioned a little bit about the feminine spectrum as seen through nakshatras in the cancer rashi, in this post, im going to explore this further.
Cancer rashi consists of 3 nakshatras:
Punarvasu 20 degree gemini to 3 degree cancer
Pushya 3-16 degree cancer
Ashlesha- 16-29 degree cancer
Tropically Ashlesha is entirely Leo and the nakshatra of Ardra is sidereally entirely Gemini; this means only Punarvasu & Pushya remain in the Cancer rashi in both tropical and vedic systems.
We must understand the feminine journey through these nakshatras as they appear, so we will begin with;
Ardra
This nakshatra is associated with destruction and transformation. This nak's deity is Rudra, the most aggressive form of Lord Shiva. Ardra is associated with purification and renewal through demolition. it is also associated with storms and is symbolized by a teardrop.
The mythology of Ardra nakshatra can be briefly summarised as follows:
Lord Brahma desired his own daughter, and knowing this, the other celestial Gods were enraged and their collective fury gave birth to Rudra.
Rudra's purpose was to prevent this incestuous union, he thus slayed him but the other Gods felt regretful about the whole situation and disowned Rudra.
Rudra is heartbroken at this unjust and unfair treatment; his teardrops come down as thunderous storms.
Given this context, I have often noticed with Ardra women that they tend to be Gamines.
A Gamine is defined as a "young woman who is attractively boyish or possessing a mischievous boyish charm"
These natives tend to be slightly androgynous; there is a conflict between masculine and feminine energies.
The most famous Gamine of all time, Audrey Hepburn had Shatabhisha moon (another Rahu ruled nak).
I have already mentioned that Ingenues in cinema tend to be played by Rohini, Mrigashira, Punarvasu & Pushya natives, who also tend to possess Ingenue essence
However, although they're both youthful, Ingenue & Gamine essence are entirely distinct from each other.
Ingenue is pure yin, whereas Gamine is yang with a yin undercurrent. There is a hint of femininity; one that is not fully developed. It is NOT a mature, womanly, grown up energy but rather an adolescent, in the process of blossoming, kind.
Here are some Gamine (essence) celebs:
Ariana Grande- Ardra sun
Charli XcX- Ardra rising
Leslie Caron- Ardra sun conjunct mercury
Lea Seydoux, Ardra sun
Cyndi Lauper, Ardra sun
Aubrey Plaza, Ardra sun
Princess Diana, Ardra sun
Carly Simon, Ardra sun
Kristin Kreuk who is Ardra moon
Nicole Richie who is Ardra moon
Stella McCartney also Ardra moon
You can see how these women project a delicate, youthful boyish charm.
Rahu is a shadow planet, it does not have any light of its own and thus seeks to absorb light from other sources. This is a very Yin principle and thereby Rahu is the most feminine after Venus. However the feminine energy as we understand it through the nakshatras in Cancer rashi is not just about absorbing energy or holding energy but it is the ability to give and accommodate that Yin space internally. These natives can absorb energy but cannot retain it.
2. Punarvasu
these natives have weathered the storm of Ardra and now seek safety and shelter, hence why a common archetype Punarvasu women seem to play on screen is that of the Ingenue. the youthful, slightly naïve and clueless creature who has to be helped.
the main distinction between an ingenue and a gamine is the fact that the former is naive and innocent whereas the latter is mischievous and teasing. Many Punarvasu women possess an Ingenue essence;
Miranda Kerr, Punarvasu moon
Drew Barrymore, Punarvasu moon
Kristen Bell, Punarvasu sun
Karina, Punarvasu moon
Punarvasu women are known for their bubbly, effervescent personalities. wide-eyed and happy-go-lucky, these natives are usually very chirpy and charming. They're like the main lead in a romcom; very easy to like, deeply perceptive but endearingly clueless at the same time.
from the wide eyed, innocent ingenue, Punarvasu women mature into the Ideal Woman. it is well known that most Punarvasu women marry well, from Kate Middleton (Punarvasu moon) who married Prince William to Miranda Kerr (Punarvasu moon) who is married to the CEO of Snapchat.
another archetype that the Punarvasu woman represents is the Mother. they contain the vast abundance of the cosmos, they are natural givers and their deity is the Mother Goddess Aditi herself. the downside of this is that they can often be enablers; unnecessarily expending their empathy to those who do not deserve it.
Kris Jenner, probably the most famous mom of our times (lol) is a Punarvasu moon. besides Kylie, all her children tend to treat her poorly (Punarvasu being an enabler trope).
Sofia Vergara played one of the most well known fictional moms on TV. She has sun & moon in Punarvasu. even on the show, there are numerous instances where Gloria is taken for granted.
Morticia Addams was both the Trophy Wife/Ideal Woman and the best mom ever (if you've watched the movie, you'll know). She was played by Anjelica Huston who has Punarvasu sun
probably the most famous fictional mom, Maria from the Sound of Music is played by Julie Andrews has Ketu in Punarvasu
3. Pushya
after the abundance of Punarvasu, comes the restriction of Pushya, it concerns itself with holding energy. Punarvasu is ruled by Jupiter which allows for limitless expansion but Pushya is governed by the limitations of Saturn.
these women are highly desirable and much sought after, but its almost like they cant enjoy themselves too much. there are always certain terms that they have to live with. Saturn is structure and discipline, as well as karma and punishment, so it makes sense why these natives seem to live their lives experiencing abundance and lack, almost simultaneously.
in the movie Malena, the protagonist is a widow living alone in a small Italian town. she is desired by everyone; sexualised and even stalked. i had already talked about how Pushya/Punarvasu create women who are highly sought after by men.
the main dilemma in this movie rests on the fact that even though the whole town is obsessed with Malena, she does not benefit from it; she is dehumanized and subject to a lot of cruelty. a pitfall of being so desired is that, while others seem intrigued by Pushya, not everyone understands Pushya natives.
Malena is played by Monica Bellucci who has Pushya moon.
Paris Hilton, Pushya moon was born to riches, however she suffered horrific abuse as a teenager and struggled in her personal life for a very long time. Paris is the quintessential "poor little rich girl". She was subject to sexual and institutional violence but not many people see her in that light at all. Most people view her as a spoilt brat and an airhead.
fun fact, the character London Tipton from the show Suite Life of Zack & Cody was based on Paris Hilton. Tipton is also emotionally neglected by her father and lives alone in her family's hotel. Brenda Song who played London Tipton is a Pushya moon like Paris herself.
here's an excerpt from one of Paris Hilton's interviews:
The irony, she says now, is that she became this icon of licentiousness when she wasn’t even promiscuous. “I was portraying this sex-symbol vibe, but inside I did not feel that way at all. And I did not trust anyone because I had such huge walls that I built around my heart. I didn’t want to let anyone in, and I didn’t want to be hurt, so I didn’t want to ever give myself to someone.”
this to me is very Punarvasu & Pushya coded. these women are sexualised to the nth degree but they're usually sexually conservative and often have very few partners.
Selena Gomez, Pushya stellium (sun, venus & rising)
Selena is one of the wealthiest celebrities in the world and her cosmetics line is one of the most successful celebrity makeup ventures ever, however her personal life has always been troubled, from her chronic illness to her dating history and most recently, there has been disturbing news about how The Idol starring her ex, The Weeknd is heavily inspired by her life and struggles.
Selena is a highly desirable woman, she's been at the top of the game for so long but she's still discredited as a singer and not taken seriously and in recent years, her appearance has been ridiculed and was subject to horrible bodyshaming despite the fact that her struggle with her illness is well known. Pushya is known as a wealth giving nakshatra but it also subjects the native to a lot of struggles.
Celine Dion, Pushya rising
Celine Dion was 12 years old when she met 38 year old Rene Angelil, who would go on to become her manager and husband. It's only logical to assume that he groomed her but Dion's life has had many struggles, she grew up underprivileged and was recently diagnosed with a rare chronic illness.
in the movie Million Dollar Baby, Maggie is a poor waitress who trains and works very hard to become a boxer. however, she is critically injured and cannot fight again, her family proves to be selfish jerks and she meets with a tragic ending. This is a very cautionary Saturnian story of working hard, succeeding, and still meeting difficulties, representing the dark side of Saturn. Maggie is played by Hillary Swank who is Pushya Sun.
Angelina Jolie, Pushya rising
Jolie has had a very difficult life, she battled eating disorders, suicidal tendencies, self-harm, drug addiction and despite being a wealthy, desirable woman, struggles in her personal life (including TW domestic violence)
Jolie is another one of those celebrities who cant seem to catch a break. A highly desirable woman, wanted by everyone, but understood by very few.
Pushya gives the native the ability to hold vast amounts of energy but they're unable to expand it. They seem to face barriers and limitations that prevent them from expanding fully. The feminine energy here is one that has to work hard and discipline themselves. they cultivate grace intentionally. they have to strive to achieve emotional fulfillment. The giving feminine of Punarvasu becomes the restrained feminine in Pushya.
in Punarvasu, we saw the giving nature of the feminine, they seem to have an endless reservoir of compassion, empathy and yin energy. the downside of this is that they're easily taken advantage of, and they're too forgiving of others; their insistence on taking the high road means others who are less deserving get further ahead than them in shorter spans of time. but it is this refinement, and natural elan that makes them the "Ideal Woman". Jupiter's magnificence means that these women possess the kind of vast mental space others can't even conceive of; this creates intrigue as to how they never seem to run out of "energy" (i use this term in its spiritual sense).
in Pushya, we saw the restrained feminine, they work hard and strive to get where they are, however, they seem to operate within a box, they're the beautiful bird within a gilded cage. the reason why this nak is considered the height of femininity is because of the discipline it takes to wield the yin energy consciously and with reservation. Punarvasu seems to give to everyone without discrimination; she's the Celestial Mother but it is very crucial to learn how to discriminate and in Pushya, presided by Saturn, we learn to control and channel our femininity and yin energy in a discriminate manner. not everyone can have them, this makes them all the more appealing.
4. Ashlesha
the very last nak in the Cancer rashi and one which lies entirely in Cancer is Ashlesha. after the giving and holding stages of the feminine, in Ashlesha, we come to confront the dark feminine.
every peak is followed by a valley; in Pushya we reached the height of femininity and now there is a reversal almost, a return to girlhood and unrefined femininity.
there is a descension to darkness and there is a desire to return to the self and to exist for one's self. we've seen how Pushya women often lead difficult lives, now, in Ashlesha, femininity enters its villain era. Its done being treated unfairly and poorly, so in Ashlesha, we see the manifestation of the dark feminine.
Ashlesha is associated with tantra; ascending above the giving traditional feminine and embracing the demonic feminine.
Megan Fox, Ashlesha moon
Jennifer's Body depicts Ashlesha's unique feminine journey quite well. Jennifer is taken advantage of and almost sacrificed but in the process she gains supernatural powers and feasts on boys to maintain it. This trope of being abused, gaining power and using it to get back at people who caused their suffering or represent it is a very common Ashlesha trope.
Charlize Theron, Ashlesha Sun
in the movie Monster (based on a true story), Charlize plays a prostitute who is raped and abused; she in turn becomes a serial killer who kills her clients
This is a very common Ashlesha trope that I will explore more in future posts!!
the earliest a woman was unburdened was in girlhood but if you really think about it, girlhood was a time when you had no agency and no voice; a child is a powerless creature and has to wield their emotions to get by (by throwing tantrums, by being coy etc). children are expected to behave a certain way; they're rewarded for good behaviour and punished for bad. the burden of femininity is absent but with it goes feminine power. thus an Ashlesha native has to resort to other ways to wield their power. this is where the demonic feminine comes to play.
these individuals are self-contained because they have a tendency to think that they could be taken advantage of if they're too trusting. remember how little kids are warned? don't talk to strangers, don't go after the nice man offering candy. children are taught to be afraid and mistrusting, to be alert and cautious, for their own sake/safety.
this nakshatra's deity is Naga (a serpent God of the underworld) and if you think about how snakes are, they are creatures who are entirely limbless, they live on the ground, they rely on their intuition to sense danger, and their only defense is the venom they hold in their body, without which they're utterly helpless. but being highly poisonous, they can destroy any creature in an instant, no matter how big or strong the creature is. they cannot fight the way other animals do, they are not designed that way. this is true of Ashlesha natives as well. they have to be stealthy, secretive, cautious, and manipulative (the word manipulation is often interpreted negatively but even charisma is manipulation, so its all about how its wielded)
Ashlesha is Mercury ruled, mercury is a "eunuch" planet and is genderless. to me it represents the pre-pubescent stage where an individual has not yet attained sexual maturity; in this stage, the native is sexually curious, and wildly imaginative but both afraid and incapable of true intimacy.
Mercury is the smallest planet, therefore these natives do not have the vast emotional reservoir of say Punarvasu or Pushya (which is not to say they're not emotional) thus they're unable to give their energy to others. They're very picky and very deliberate with who they give their energy because they feel drained very easily. But what they lack in the emotional sphere they compensate with intellect. Mercury-ruled nakshatras always give the native raw natural intelligence. these natives are very smart.
Lana Del Rey is Ashlesha Moon. Early on in her career, she was accused of being fake & inauthentic. She sang about sadness and sugar daddies in a way that presented itself as an aesthetic and gave rise to the whole girlblogger/coquette community for whom she is the patron saint. Lana has moved on to other concepts with her albums but her influence over this community continues to stay. Her music heavily features an abusive figure, heavy doses of melancholy, and an unhealthy obsession with money & glamour, even though the subject matter is sad, she sets it up in the most theatrical of ways.
most importantly, she presents herself in her songs as this naïve, lost, perpetually sad, self-loathing creature, presenting the feminine in a way that it seldom is presented. this female gaze is what has made her soooo relatable to so many young girls and women.
in fact the coquette community itself is very Ashlesha coded imo, embracing girliness over womanliness, "gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss", "female manipulator", you name it, there is an undeniable Ashlesha influence at play, including the fact that many of its figureheads have Ashlesha placements.
Vera Farmiga, Ashlesha Sun played Norma in Bates Motel. both her character and the show itself feature many Ashlesha tropes.
Norma is a very possessive, overprotective mother (Cancer women have complicated relationships with their mothers, this manifests in the most toxic way in Ashlesha), here the Ashlesha native plays the Mother and (spoiler alert) her son develops an alternate personality that is an extension of Mother, killing anyone he thinks could pose a threat to their relationship. Norma grew up in an abusive home and faces abuse at the hands of men all her life. The entire show revolves around this dysfunctional Mother-Son relationship with the son embodying his Mother.
Cancer rashi nakshatras are passive by nature and this is taken to new lengths in Ashlesha which is the concluding Cancer nakshatra. these natives cannot seem to do things in a straightforward way, ruled by the smallest planet Mercury which governs the intellect, these natives achieve whatever they want by playing mind games (if unevolved) or by using their intellect (if evolved).
The reason Jupiter is known for always taking the high road is because it has the expansiveness to do so. Mercury gives very little space inwardly so they have to be emotionally conservative and frugal. This is why they seem manipulative to others; they have to use their limited resources to achieve what they want, they cannot "give endlessly".
its interesting how Cancer rashi concludes itself in a Mercury ruled nak since Cancer is Moon ruled and feminine and Mercury is a "eunuch" planet and without gender. The feminine journey had its seeds in the feminine but malefic nakshatra of Ardra; which contributes to the androgyny of these natives (primarily yang but with a hint of yin), developing into the Ingenue (or Maiden) and Mother in Punarvasu, both of whom give endlessly because of naivete and later because of compassion, then learning restraint & discrimination in Pushya (the height of femininity) where natives experience abundance but cannot indulge in it fully ( Saturn teaching discipline). In Ashlesha, we see the dark feminine, rising above everything a woman should "ideally" be. There is nothing "ideal" about Ashlesha, it represents that which is considered taboo, it is an outcast nakshatra and depicts raw, unrefined femininity.
Excluding Rahu ruled Ardra, the Cancer rashi spans nakshatras ruled by Jupiter, Saturn and concludes in Mercury. Both Jupiter & Saturn are masculine planets and Mercury is an eunuch planet. Feminine energy at its most expansive is Punarvasu and at its height, its in Saturn, and its "valley" venturing into its darkness is Mercury which rules the mind. This is a very interesting journey, representative of an experience most women are familiar with; women are expected to be givers, but later, with experience learn how to discriminate with their giving and ultimately decide to put themselves first and be, selectively selfish.
I hope this was interesting<33

“The whole creation is the dance of one consciousness.” — Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
Dance of Shiva and Kali Talon Abraxas
Kali and Shiva: The Divine Dance of Creation and Destruction
Two of the strongest figures from Hindu mythology are Goddess Kali and Lord Shiva. They all represent a different dimension of God, yet their story and symbols intertwine. The bond between Kali and Shiva is unique and perplexing depicting the incessant cycle of birth and death. Vedas and Puranas also have tried to explain the intricate dynamics between Mahakali Rudraani and Mahakal Shiva Rudra. Despite appearing as two distinct entities, they embody a unified essence, a concept both simple and profoundly complex. The Vedas, with their illustrative examples, approach this relationship with reverence, acknowledging the limitations of language in fully capturing their essence.
Goddess Kali: The Fierce Mother
The goddess, which represents the chaotic, fierce aspects of life, is referred to as Kali. The depiction of this image frequently includes her form coloured in dark tones; has unruly, tousled hair, and an amulet consisting of severed demon skulls that adorns her neck. One of her hands is holding a sword while the other holds a separate demon’s head. Kali’s ferocious appearance stands for the destruction of evilness, selfishness, and inadequacy.
Kali is most commonly perceived to be all-conquering. She is called upon for protection and courage in face of tribulations to protect her worshippers from harm. Nevertheless, her destructive side should be looked at without fear and understood as an essential item in the cyclic scheme according to which the old forms should make room for the new ones.
Shiva: The Supreme Ascetic
One of the main god in hindu gods worshipped as a demolisher as well as a transfigurer Shiva. Ash covered body, snake encircling on his body while he mediates in the Himalayans mountain can easily define him. Shiva symbolises the formlessness side of God, the supreme being that exists beyond matter. Destruction by Shiva represents an inseparable component of Cosmic cycles. This symbolises the saying whereby destruction is preceded by new creation of something or someone. Therefore, he dissolves the universe so as to pave way for its rebirth and re-creation. Within the cosmic dance of Shiva, the position of Kali emerges.
Relationship between Shiva and Kali
The relationship between Shiva and Kali is one of divine union and cosmic balance. This is epitomized in the “half-feminine Goddess” form, where Shiva and Kali merge into an androgynous deity. Shiva appears on the right side, and Kali on the left, symbolizing the inseparable bond between the masculine and feminine cosmic forces. Their union is further illustrated in the cosmic dance of “Tandava,” where Kali’s dance of destruction is halted only by Shiva, highlighting their dynamic interplay of creation and destruction.
This divine union teaches profound lessons about the cyclical nature of life, urging us to embrace both creation and destruction for balance and growth. The stories of Kali and Shiva inspire us to face challenges with courage, seeing destruction as a path to renewal. This relationship emphasizes the importance of balance, understanding, and connection in our spiritual journey, encouraging us to seek wisdom and courage in our lives.
The stories of Kali and Shiva hold profound lessons. They highlight the cycle of creation and destruction of life and urge us to embrace it all for balance and growth. We learn to face challenges with courage and see destruction as a path to renewal. This divine union encompasses two aspects of life, emphasises the importance of balance, understanding and connection in our spiritual journey, and encourages wisdom and courage in our lives.

Rahu Dominant Themes — 𝐍𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 ###
warning ⚠️: suicide, death, movie spoilers!
All the Rahu nakshatras are ruled by deities related to the weather. Rudra (Ardra), being god of roaring storms. Vayu (Swati), being god of wind. Varuna (Shatabhisha), being god of the seas & sky. This validating the volatile nature of these nakshatras, explaining why they get a reputation of being unstable and emotional in tropical astrology being cast as water signs.
The story of Vayu's son being struck by Indra's weapon and Vayu wishing to cause harm to all his subjects shows the intensity of Swati. Lord Vayu lives inside all creatures. So when his son was severely injured, his rage grew as no one batted an eye, his fury making all worlds start to feel like hell. Creating unhappiness in all lives. Even the gods were miserable, constantly hoping for some sliver of contentment back. Swati is where desire is born from a state of misery and lack. Vayu's rage translated in everybody's affliction. Their punishment being in a cycle of desiring and suffering. Being that Rahu is constantly dissatisfied, chasing things he might never attain, or attaining desired things which never fulfill the heart, we see how it's perfectly expressed with Vayu through Swati. And Vayu himself, representing the rage of injustice in the world and causing obstruction through Swati as I briefly touched on in the first post.
About justice and morality, which I see in the other nakshatras. In relation to Rudra's story: Lord Brahma, the Creator of all creations, was harassing his own daughter (who he created directly from his semen), Saraswati, continuously pushing his sexual advances on her even as she ran away. He sprouted five heads in search for her when she disappeared from his sight. And immediately, Lord Rudra cut off the root of his heads. He condemned him for his incestuous actions and decided that there will be no proper way for anyone to worship him as he is unholy. Brahma was ostracized. Ever since that incident, Brahma has been reciting the four Vedas as a way to repent. Rudra being righteous in the story, cutting what is so clearly wrong and sinful. From that, we can see how this manifests through Ardra as I touched on in the first post.
Then Lord Varuna, ruling over Shatabhisha, is the guardian of moral law. He punishes sinners by binding them with his famous noose which is in the form of a snake. His name can be derived from the Sanskrit root which means 'to surround' or 'to bind'. This referencing the rivers and ocean surrounding the world which are ruled by him and him binding sinners in justice. Varuna plays a crucial role in framing your principles, values and beliefs & religiously operating from them.
Despite these deities literally being deities and natives with these nakshatras just being human, we can still see how there can be righteousness expressed through them in many ways. And fighting/advocating for what's right in a sinful society. A lot of advocates I found have other recurring nakshatras such as Uttara/Purva Ashada, Uttara/Purva Bhadrapada, Revati, Hasta, and Ketu nakshatras. And among the list are also Rahu nakshatras or Rahu influence.

Some examples above of important activist figures who fought societal inequities and inhuman laws in history with Rahu nakshatra/prominent Rahu influence.
Endless desire being birthed from dissatisfaction is a theme also found in Ardra. And that is because of Rudra. Rudra was created from between Brahma's eyebrows as a result of his anger which was triggered by his ignorant passion. The Bhagavad-gītā scriptures describe the essence of Rudra in such a way: Krodha (fury/rage) is the product of kāma (desire/lust), which is the result of ignorant and egocentric passion. It is when the desiring is unsatisfied that rage is born. This causes one to become enslaved by their senses, the material world, and their desires. Such themes manifest through Ardra, which forms a powerful axis with Mula. Mula which kills all desire and ego as it recognizes it as the root of all evil. Mula, who is ruled by the deity Nirrti, who is also known as the ferocious Goddess Kali - slayer of men! Kali grants liberation by removing the illusion of the ego. Emphasizing that we are the eternal I AM and not the body. Goddess Kali is a manifestation of Rudra/Shiva. Though, they oppose one another. Both being ferocious, they are still at two opposite ends of the spectrum. Rudra's rage being driven by desire and the ignorant ego, Kali's rage destroying desire and ego. The two deities ruling the two nakshatras which are at opposite axis of each other, being perfectly paired with the representative shadow planets Rahu and Ketu, which is so fitting.
The most perfect media story that represent these respective energies is the Turkish drama called Aşk-ı Memnu. In which the female lead is played by a Mula Moon and the male lead is played by an Ardra Moon (with a Swati Sun). And the Latin telenovela version of it, Pasión Prohibida, in which the female lead is also played by Mula Moon and the male lead is played by an Ardra Moon again!

The male character in this forbidden love story starts to lust after his uncle's newly wife and eventually she ends up desiring him as well. They both give into their desire and start to have a secret affair which leads to them falling for each other. Their sinful/lustful relationship leads them to misery. The male character, being Ardra, ends up feeling wrongful and rejects her when she proposes them to run away together. She even plans on divorcing his uncle in order to be with him, but now he's choosing to run on a false/illusory moral compass "doing the right thing" (yet he's still hiding the truth from his uncle). Her, being Mula, acknowledges they're in love and is willing to expose everything for them to be together (Ketu being unrealistic and irrational). She realizes her attempts at convincing him are futile, and she ends up killing herself on the day of his wedding to another woman and their affair gets exposed to everyone. She did this knowing it will bring him his very own death. He dies too, figuratively. On the finale, both soap operas show how he is left with absolutely nothing in the world. This being the works of Kali through Mula, killing him and draining him of everything. Because it all started with the Ardra character, he initiated the affair and pushed his lustful advances on her. Rudra, desiring and lusting, only creating his own downfall. So perfectly shown in these soap operas.
Now, Rudra can be the destroyer of desires as well. As he creates misery, he can destroy it. He is the Destroyer, and he acts as a healer. Rudra literally means "one who destroys all problems from their roots", which emphasizes the power of self-liberation. Emphasizing the self-power Rudra holds! And just like Vayu was the bringer of unhappiness, he is also the ones who breathes life and happiness into all living things as well. This shows the dualistic nature in Swati and Ardra, and the power these nakshatras holds.
There seems to be an understanding in self-creation and manifestation in all three of the nakshatras. Vayu is the breather of life and happiness, but also the bringer of misery and death. Rudra is the creator and destroyer of illusions. Varuna being the king of the universe. It's very interesting to find manifestation themes in films that have some Rahu and Rahu nakshatras roles playing around them. Such as the film 13 Going On 30.
13-year-old Jenna, played by Christa B. Allen who has Moon conjunct Rahu, wishes on her birthday to be a successful, beautiful, charismatic 30-year-old version of herself.
And her wish comes true as she wakes up as her desired version, played by Ardra Ascendent Jennifer Garner.
And the film 16 Wishes directed by Swati Sun, Peter DeLuise. A teenage girl has created a list of things she wishes to happen on her 16th birthday and everything manifests exactly the way she wanted.
Both stories show the dissatisfaction experienced by the main characters with their manifested desires, which perfectly shows the nature of Rahu. After getting everything they wished for, they still want to go back to the way things used to be before.
Interestingly, the theme of 'trapped in a movie' is something that I found related with Rahu influence. For example, the film The Final Girls is about a young girl, who just lost her mom, getting teleported into a movie starring her mother. The actress playing the young girl is Taissa Farmiga, who has her Moon Rashi Lord in Swati and her Atmakaraka planet in Shatabhisha. And the film is made by Todd Strauss-Schulson who is an Ardra Sun and Swati Moon.

Also, The Truman Show, starring Swati ASC Jim Carrey, who plays a insurance salesman who is oblivious to the fact that his entire life is a TV show watched by the entire world, that everybody around him is an actor — everything around him is a fake simulation.

Then, there these two kdramas, titled "W" and "Extraordinary You". In W, a young woman teleports into a famous web comicbook which was written by her father and meets the main character whom she falls in love with, later realizing that she was the one who created him from a childhood drawing (which her father took inspiration from). He comes to the truth of his nature as a 2D-character and decides to take control of his own destiny from the writer. He is played by Lee Jong-Suk, who is a Shatabhisha Moon. And his love interest who indirectly created him is played by Han Hyo-Joo who is a Shatabhisha Sun.

Then, in Extraordinary You, a high school student realizes on her own that her reality is not real. And she then discovers that she is not only in a comicbook, but she is a background character in which her doomed destiny is decided by the writer. She attempts to change that, wanting to fulfill her desires (Rahu) and dreams of love. She is played by Kim Hye-yoon, who is a Swati Moon. And another character who comes to the realization of the unreality of things (and that he never had a choice in his identity) is played by Lee Jae-wook, who is also a Swati Moon.
Rahu is very much material-world-based, as everything that drives it is purely based on ego and all things of the five senses. It's outwardly chasing, engaging with the world purely on changing it, and attaining desires. Rahu represents the modern-world. Hustle culture, hook-up culture, productivity, transactional relationships, to-do lists, politics, activism etc. All these things that are a part of the human ego's world. It feels real because it's all happening to your ego. But Ketu kills the ego, thus killing the illusions (the world surrounding the ego), and Rahu drives the ego, thus upholding the illusion around it. I mention this very obvious observation as a way to connect all the mentioned films above.
Although it'd be very fitting for Ketu to be the one who awakens you first from the illusions, it is actually Rahu. The films 13 Going On 30 and 16 Wishes showcasing one's attainment of their desires being very unfulfilling and even wanting things to go back to normal - thus appreciating the things you took for granted. It could even go so far as to deciding to walk a spiritual path from all the resulted emptiness from material things. Then that's where Ketu 'welcomes' you.
The very unreality of the world we live in is incredibly Rahuvian, especially the discovery that you were 'never really human' but merely a character. This theme, from a Ketu perspective, suggests that you are Consciousness, and you fooled yourself into believing you were a mere human because of how the world (Rahu) appeared to be so real to your human mind. So "you got lost in the sauce". And the identity you think you are is as unreal as the world, it's all an illusion. Ketu challenges, "If not the body, if not the thoughts, if not the story you've been told, if not the emotions, who am I?" Rahu cannot answer. Rahu can only showcase the unreality of things, such as the Rahu-influenced kdramas I mentioned above; "W" and "Extraordinary You". It is Rahu that causes illusions, and waits for you to break the illusions.
One theme I found interesting and noteworthy which has Rahu/Ketu influence is body swapping. Popular films I found carrying this concept of people's 'souls' switching bodies have an underlying message of understanding someone else by literally walking in their shoes. And also valuing the life you had before, being grateful for what you took for granted, and having a better understanding of other people. The understanding that no one's life, no matter how flashy and stunning it seems, is really perfect or worthy to put on a pedestal. This understanding being mostly showcased in films such as 'The Change-Up' and 'Freaky Friday'.
In Change-Up, two best friends have polarizing lifestyles. One is a busy lawyer who is a responsible father and husband. And the other is an actor who is still a free, bachelor playboy. Both desire each other's lives and a body swap happens, which has them realizing how challenging it is to be each other. Now they want to revert back to their original lives, now valuing what they took for granted. It stars Ryan Reynolds, Swati Moon, and Jason Bateman who has Mars in Swati. In Freaky Friday, a mother and daughter who don't understand each other at all end up body swapping and they learn things they never knew from experiencing each other's lives, which heals their relationship. The film stars Lindsey Lohan who is an Ardra Sun and Jamie Lee Curtis who is Mula ASC.

Then the two films you see on the left are about two pretty teenage girls swapping bodies with unattractive looking, greasy criminals (one a robber, another a murderer). Comedies showing how ludicrous it is for greasy looking, middle-aged, white men to have the soul of a teenage girl, though the movies do show the beautiful bond between friends who can recognize each other even if they were in another body. This likely playing into 7th house and 11th house themes as Hot Chick stars Swati/Libra natives, Rob Schneider & Rachel McAdams. And Freaky starring Shatabhisha/Aquarius natives, Vince Vaughen and Kathryn Newton. (As shown in the visual)

Here are more examples of body swapping movies/tv shows shown above: "Alchemy of Souls (season one)", "Mr Queen", "It's A Boy Girl Thing", "Dating The Enemy", "Secret Garden".
Thank you so much for ending here! Now, onto preparing the next post like this about ketu 🫠 byeeeee.

Here's more... cuz I realised I'm really good at it 💅✨lol
Yama: Many may think he sounds rough while in a way he does... But also he sounds like he's there to take you home. Exactly like your mother who came to take you home after the first day of school when you were anxious. His sound is comforting, it's to guide you back home.
Agni: whatever he speaks, he apeaks with a passion. A passion you'll feel is burning like the sacred flames. It have a certain warmth to it yes. You'll feel the safe fuzzy feeling you get sitting around the campfire. But when he's angry his voice will engulf you whole, give you no spac to escape and burn you fully.
Dyaus: Well... He just sounds... Vast. You'll never figure out where exactly is he speaking from, even if he's standing just infront of you. And you'll also never know which ear you heard him from... Was it left? Or was it right? His voice kinda sounds like an akashvani (lol pun intended) he takes his time while speaking and his tone is unchangeable to say the least.
Alakshmi: She sounds like she's in despair. She sounds hateful, sad and it will give you a sense of emptyness. Like as if you are sure you failed your interview but just the news haven't reached you yet... Anxiety is not the term to explain her voice but it's like that. It's empty, it's hateful. You won't want to listen to her again...
Ashwin Kumars: This two are what you call typical twin voice... They sound so similar yet so different. Their voice is like the soothing ointment you apply on your wounds, a bit straight forward but got a nice comfort to the voice. When they speak to you they speak in sync, completing eachother's sentences... It almost feels as if you just woke up from sleep after a horrible feverish night. You'll automatically feel better if you listen to them.
Vac: She sounds like every and any type of sound you can ever imagine.. You would be utterly confused trying to figure out what exact tone she's speaking in. But at the same time it's easy to understand. As if you're a child who doesn't know how to speak yet... And you're trying to pick up the words your parents are asking you to speak.
Shukra: Knowledged. If anything he sounds knowledged, but also most of the time he sounds strict like a teacher. But when he's not angry he's calm and you'll actually enjoy listening to him. But also like his graha's atmosphere his voice have a certain density to it. As if the dead might rise again listening to him (lmao bad pun sorry)
Ila/Sudyumna: There's a duality in their voice... When he's Sudyumna he sounds regal and poshed just like a prince. With softer tone and sweeter accent. But when Ila, she's a bit rougher.. even if not as royal as her male self, still sweet though.
Yamuna: Her tone is slow and she takes her time speaking just like the Yamuna river, it's sweet and enjoyable to listen... As if a storyteller from some far away land is telling you the tales.
Rudra: Powerful, sharp tone. A bit loud... Kinda like wild animals, but not bad. He speaks fast as if he's a storm or he's in a hurry. His tone will give you the feel of a hunter chasing down it's prey, it's like a lion's cry majestic and can scare you on occasions..
Savitr: His voice is pleasant to hear, a reassuring tone, just like a gaurdian. It's a bit deep and have a heavyness to it, as if protecting you from something... But at the same time it's warm like new sunrays hitting the baby plants on the morning.
Ayyappan: His voice is boyish, and sounds innocent yet as if it holds all the knowledge of this earth. It sounds like the soft jingles of temple bells or the laughter of children running around. It gives a somewhat a sense of nostalgia to you
Shani: Straight forward and sharp. A bit too sharp for liking. Also whenever he speaks it's as if he knows, now what he knows that you'll never know... His voice may sound a bit like, as if he's criticizing you.. which he maybe is. It got both the ability to scare you or make you feel safe.
YOU DID IT AGAIN!
YOU CAPTURED ALL OF THEM SO PERFECTLY. I ESPECIALLY LOVED SHANI'S SJDNEFJN he really be one of those brutally honest dudes lmao

GET THE WILL GRAHAM VIBE
Since so many of you are obsessed with the idea of being Will and dressing like him ain't working out, because it's not about aesthetics, but about aura...Here's an analysis of his energetic configurations, with a practical advice on how to actually embody that vibe:
The first thing to understand is that we analyze the energetic components of characters based on the actor's charts, because if we look at life as one big play, and theater/film being a micro reflection of that concept, then the director or creator of the movie/play/show acts as a god, casting a specific actor for a specific role. Therefore we do not need to know a fictional character's date of birth or anything of the sort, as the actors are always being cast in characters that mirror the spiritual stage they embody.
Hugh Dancy shares the same archetype of Jared Padalecki, hence why Will and Sam have almost identical arcs: fighting with two sides of their nature, emphasizing the dualistic nature of reality (good and bad, wrong and right), going through tumultuous and torturous trials, and having an abiding love for someone that drives their actions. They also share funny similarities such as loving dogs, wearing plaid, being intellectual and having hair that calls attention lol.
They both have "special abilities" that are a burden to them.
Both Hugh and Jared were born under a specific Lunar energy that is ruled by Rudra.
The name "Rudra" itself comes from the Sanskrit root "rud," meaning "to cry" or "to howl." This suggests a deity connected to emotions, particularly pain, anguish, and a primal longing.
It's not at all random that both characters are known for crying, suffering and even Will always being "soaked"!
Sam and Will were transformed through pain, and Rudra symbolizes both the terror and beauty of destruction that leads to transformation.
And his association with grief and destruction gives him a complex and paradoxical nature: he is fierce yet tender, destructive yet deeply compassionate.
This particular constellation is called Ardra, the "star of sorrow," symbolized by a teardrop and represents the stormy aspects of life, including intense emotions, challenges, and upheaval. This constellation brings forward the power of Rudra, channeling his energies of anger, grief, and eventually purification.
Ardra is under the influence of Rahu, the "head of the dragon", and is a shadow planet, often associated with desires, illusions, materialism, and obsessions. According to myth, Rahu was originally an asura (demon) who, during the churning of the ocean (Samudra Manthan), managed to steal a sip of the nectar of immortality by disguising himself among the gods. When Vishnu discovered this, he beheaded Rahu, but since Rahu had tasted the nectar, his head became immortal. Rahu represents the severed head, while his counterpart, Ketu, represents the body.
Rahu symbolizes the relentless drive to achieve one’s desires, often leading one into uncharted or forbidden territories. He is associated with illusion (maya), hidden ambitions, taboo-breaking, and transformation.
Under Rahu’s rule, Ardra becomes a place where the individual seeks knowledge and experience beyond the traditional boundaries. This can manifest as a search for the truth behind illusions or a confrontation with uncomfortable aspects of life.
Rahu is a seeker, often looking for what is hidden or forbidden. Under Rahu’s influence, Ardra natives are known for their quest for truth, curiosity about life’s mysteries, and a tendency to probe deeply, even if it means challenging established norms.
Rahu’s energy in Ardra encourages the exploration of the shadow, things that are hidden, feared, or unaccepted. People influenced by Ardra often have the courage to face difficult truths, both within themselves and in the world, which can lead to personal growth and transformation.
Those with a strong Ardra influence may challenge societal expectations, explore unconventional paths, or engage in activities that push boundaries.
Together, Rahu and Ardra form a nakshatra that is both turbulent and transformative, focusing on a path where one must confront illusions, fears, and inner darkness to attain deeper understanding and freedom. Rahu’s influence on Ardra makes this nakshatra a place of karmic learning and powerful change, where the storms of life (symbolized by Rudra) bring both destruction and the possibility of rebirth.
In this way, Ardra and Rahu teach the lesson that confronting and dismantling our illusions, fears, and attachments is essential for spiritual growth, even if it involves pain or hardship. Through the intense journey of Ardra, Rahu ultimately leads to the breaking of old patterns and the emergence of a clearer, more authentic self.
What you really want to exude though, is Will's magnetism that comes from him embodying duality so perfectly (hence the "gender envy" you guys talk about). You want that yin-yang, magnetic aura.
Well, you can get that by chanting the HRIM mantra.
Chanting "Hrim" can make a person more magnetic due to the mantra's deep association with Shakti—the divine feminine energy that embodies attraction, creativity, and transformative power.
When chanted, Hrim produces a sound frequency that subtly shifts one's energetic field, making it more harmonious and balanced. This resonance aligns the practitioner with cosmic forces, increasing their natural charm and appeal, as they are attuned to the fundamental energy of creation and attraction.
By connecting with the energy of maya and transcending illusions, Hrim helps one cultivate inner radiance or tejas (spiritual glow). This inner radiance becomes visible to others as an attractive, magnetic quality that draws people in on an almost intangible level, as they sense a vibrant, vital energy.
This mantra is amazing for anxiety, also. It generates a sense of space/void so it clears the mind.
Also, his expression number is 3, deriving from 21, which means he embodies major arcana The World and The Magician, birthing the Empress.
The Empress is the verb, the ternary, plenitude, nature, fecundity, generation in the three worlds. She is wisdom. Discernment. Idealism. Intellectual solar influence. It is the arcane of Sacred Magic, an instrument of divine power.
The Magician is the Creative Impulse and The World is the closing, the manifestation being completed. So we have, essentially, the creative impulse of completion that generates sacred magic. This manifests an individual who exudes a sort of surreal magnetism that is very tender and feminine in nature, at the same time that it triggers a feeling of wanting that individual's dominance over you, but not through force, but through love/care. Which explains why most fans want to "baby" Will but also crave for moments where he acts unhinged.

Rudlós part 1. Introduction and Cognates
God of wild nature, disease and healing, archery, war, poetry, alcohol, and wisdom. He has always been of immense personal interest to me, as a proto-odin figure, a god of the Koryos. An almost liminal god of society, the savagery of war, wilderness, and disease, but also, poetry, alcohol, and healing. He is often depicted as being mounted on a horse, with a retinue of wolves following him.
A fascinating dichotomy, especially for the Proto-Indo-Europeans. They appear to have made a strong distinction between Defensive and Aggressive war. Perkwúnos is a protective deity, strongly correlated with Defensive war, giving Rudlos the other, invading aspect of conflict. He brings disease with arrows, which devastate communities and are often the biggest killers in war.
Yet, Rudlos is also associated with poetry, which we know was extremely important to the PIEs and possibly their main cultural expression of aesthetic beauty. The importance is also related to ritual and prayer in all likelihood. He associated with alcohol, and quite possibly hallucinogens, as he is sometimes seen as shamanic figure, guiding others on a path through the spiritual and granting divine knowledge he always seems to possess.

Etymological Cognates (deities who share direct linguistic descendance with Rudlos):
The name could derives either from "rewd-/reud-" ("rend, tear apart"), or from "rud-/reu-" ("howl"). His name could be understood as "The Howler", an etymology shared by his linguistically closest descendant, the Vedic deity Rudra.
An alternative etymology interprets Rudra as the "red one", the "brilliant one", possibly derived from a lost root "rud-", ("red" or "ruddy") or alternatively, according to Grassman, "shining".
Stella Kramrisch notes a different etymology connected with the adjectival form "raudra", which means "wild", i.e., of "rude" (untamed) nature, and translates the name Rudra as "the wild one" or "the fierce god". R. K. Śarmā follows this alternative etymology and translates the name as "the terrible" in his glossary for the Shiva Sahasranama.
Another two likely cognates are found in Gaul, modern south eastern France. First is Rudianos. Manfred Lurker gives the name an etymology of "Red", connecting it to his being associated with Mars, reflecting the warlike nature of the god. There is also a prehistoric image of a mounted war-god, dated to the 6th Century BC, who could perhaps be Rudianos. The menhir-shaped stone depicts a roughly incised figure of a horseman, with an enormous head, riding down five severed heads. The iconography is evocative of the head-hunting exploits of the Celts, who hung the heads of their battle victims from their saddles, according to classical writers.
The second is Rudiobus, known only from a single inscription, on a bronze figurine of a prancing horse that reads: "Sacred to the god Rudiobus". This figure, from the 1st century BC, is one of a group found in Loiret, located in central northern France. It has been suggested by some that this may be an aspect of a Gaulish form of Mars instead an indigenous Celtic deity, but I consider that there just as good, if not higher chance of his him being related to, or a regional spelling of Rudianos.
Lastly, there is the slavic god Rugiaevit, Rugievit (Latin: Rugiaeuit) or Ruyevit. Worshiped on the German isle of Rügen, and primarily attested by Saxo Grammaticus, who's words we obviously have to be careful with.
There are two interpretations of the theonym. Rugiaevit is usually translated as "lord, ruler of Rügen". Often scholars propose to read the name as Ruyevit; Aleksander Gieysztor suggests combining the this interpretation with the root "ru-" existing in such words as "řuti" ("to roar"), and "ruja" ("roar of deer", "estrous, heat", as well as "fertility"), which is seen in the Old Russian word "rujenь –" a term for one of the autumn months that falls during the time of the estrous cycle examples: cf. Czech "říjen", Bulgarian "руен (ruen)", Serbo-Croatian "ру̑јан, rujan". Lubor Niederle, assuming the phonetic similarity of Ruyevit and Yarovit, concluded that the two gods were identical, but this opinion does not seem popular or particularly helpful beyond one possible etymology of "ruthless lord" which could fit well with Rudlos. The suffix "-vit" translates as "lord, ruler"; it is less often compared with the word "vitędzь" due to the borrowing of this word from Germanic languages (cf. viking).
Witczak and Kaczor (1995), cited by Mallory and Adams, take Old Russian Rъglъ ("Rŭglŭ") to be from a reconstructed Proto-Slavic *Rъdlъ ("Rŭdlŭ").
The Senowera document has the epithet Wā́tonos listed with his name. It is believed to be the PIE ancestor of Proto-Germanic Wōðanaz/Wōdunaz meaning "lord of frenzy", a name which becomes Wotan, Wodan, and Oðinn,(also Ódr, who is often believed to be a hypostasis of Oðinn) which we will get into later.
Thirdly, the typically separately reconstructed deity Léudheros (h₁leudʰero ('belonging to the people', hence 'free')) is prescribed in the Senowera document to potentially be an aspect or epithet of Rudlos. The name is primarily reconstructed from Liber and Lóðurr, who is poorly attested and whose etymology is highly controversial. Liber Pater ("The Free Father"), god of viticulture, wine, freedom, and male fertility. He cult was increasingly associated and absorbed by romanised Dionysus. Liber asserted plebeian rights to ecstatic release, self-expression and free speech.
We're gonna cover Léudheros another time as a separate deity, but we will take his possible status as an aspect of Rudlos into account when we do. In the next part, we're gonna compare the these various cognates from a mythological perspective.
