Financial challenges are a reality for many homeowners today, whether from unexpected medical bills, job loss, or other emergencies. When debt becomes too much to handle, debt mediation can offer a structured approach to negotiating with creditors and finding relief. Here’s what you need to know about debt mediation services and how they can benefit you.
The Debt Mediation Process
Debt mediation involves a neutral third party who helps homeowners negotiate with creditors to reduce debts and find a mutually agreeable repayment plan. Unlike bankruptcy, which has severe long-term consequences, mediation aims to avoid legal action and preserve your assets. This process is particularly helpful for those struggling with mortgage payments, credit card debts, or other financial obligations. Explore more about debt relief options to understand your choices.
Benefits of Debt Mediation
Cost-Effective: Debt mediation is generally less expensive than legal alternatives like bankruptcy. It’s often a quicker, more streamlined process that avoids costly legal fees.
Asset Protection: Unlike other debt solutions, mediation can protect your home and other assets from being seized. This means you can stay in your home while working toward financial recovery.
Tailored Plans: Every homeowner’s situation is different, and debt mediation provides customized repayment plans that are more manageable and suited to individual circumstances.

💖 MAKE YOUR DREAMS NORMAL - 7 WEEKS UNTIL 2025 [GLOW UP SERIES] 💖
So you’ve tried to change your life a million and one times, but still you fuck up time and time again, still not learning those same lessons. Part of you feels like what’s the point? Another affirmation, ANOTHER meditation. But the other part...the bigger part of you desperately wants this dream life that’s so clear in your mind. You see it, you feel it. So why is it so difficult? Why can everyone else have something they desire with so much ease, yet when it comes to you, its like there’s a wall between you and what's in your heart?
And this is because you’ve turned your dreams, your vision, into something that is out of reach, it’s on a pedestal above you, and not accessible. You’ve become desperate and needy for your desires, when they actually need to feel normal for you.
It needs to feel normal for you to be debt free and in actual abundance. It needs to feel normal for you to look in the mirror and feel like you are the most beautiful and radiant person you’ve ever laid eyes on. It needs to feel normal for you to have that once in a lifetime love, normal for to be spending your days building your business that makes your heart burst, normal to live in that ocean view mansion thats been on your Pinterest board since forever...Your dreams need to feel normal.
So how do you normalise what is currently not normal? How do you normalise feeling like a CEO of your dream business when you work a job you hate? How do you normalise being married when you are single and live alone? How do you normalise feeling in top health when you have pains in your body? How do you normalise abundance when you are broke and stressed?
You start practising the feeling. You’ve heard this a million times, but your mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and imagination. So as you practise normalising the feelings of your desires. You’re training your body and mind what it feels like to have your dreams before the events have happened. I can testify this works. When I lived in London in my shoebox apartment I would visualise daily my balcony and waking up to the ocean, I would visualise morning walks with my dog on the beach.. was I surprised when this become my reality in January, no? I had already primed my mind for my future. And this is what you need to do to move forward, but to accelerate this process these are the steps…
NOVEMBER 21 DAY CHALLENGE:
1] DAILY MEDITATION. I recommend Dr Joe Dispenza mediation each day for the rest of this month. These are POWERFUL & TRANSFORMATIONAL. To learn more about his approach I recommend reading ‘You are the Placebo’ and ‘Becoming Supernatural’.
2] REPROGRAM SUBCONSCIOUS DAILY. Go on a rampage, speak life into yourself each day and record it on your phone (this needs to be replayed as often as possible daily). You are making a bold statement to your subconscious mind ‘It’s normal for me to live in the home of my dreams, it feels so natural to wake up to the ocean, I love this life, I love how good it feels to be here, I love the sound of the waves each morning, it makes me feel so at peace’ etc etc you go into DETAIL. ~You get into the feeling. You record yourself and you play it back, this is the reprogram.
3] Act as if…the 1% method. This is your daily challenge to get into the feeling with action just 1%. Depending on your dreams and goals each day you take action that will put you into the feeling of already having your dream. For example, you go window shopping, PRETENDING to be the woman of your dreams, you try on clothes, you try on lingerie, you go get a coffee in the neighbourhood you wish to live in, you set your alarm at 5am one day because you are getting into CEO energy. You get the picture. Do one thing, just one thing per day, even if its something small, you get yourself into the energy of your desire, this is how you normalise it.
These three steps are GUARANTEED to create some ripples in your energy field. Your vibration will change, you will start feeling and seeing shifts over this next month. Stay committed. Stay receptive. Your dreams are possible, once you take action on normalising.

But HP is still in business. Apple is still in business. Google is still in business. Microsoft is still in business. IBM is still in business. Facebook is still in business.
We don’t have those controlled burns anymore. Yesterday’s giants tower over all, forming a thick canopy. The internet is “five giant websites, each filled with screenshots of the other four.”
These tech companies have produced a lot of fire-debt. Over and over, they erupt in flames—in this short decade alone, every one of our tech giants has experienced a privacy scandal that should have permanently disqualified it from continuing to enjoy our patronage (and I do mean every one of them, including the one that spends millions telling you that it’s the pro-privacy alternative to the others).
Privacy is just one way that these firms are enshittifying themselves. There are the ghastly moderation failures, the community betrayals, the frauds and the billions squandered on follies.
We hate these companies. We hate their products. They are always on fire. They can’t help it. It’s the curse of bigness.
Companies cannot unilaterally mediate the lives of hundreds of millions — or even billions — of people, speaking thousands of languages, living in hundreds of countries.

You may have be on the ship because of a debt you owed General Iroh, but it didn't mean you had to like any of the occupants.
And by occupants you meant resident Prince Pouty - Zuko.
You had kept your distance at first, keeping your head down and going about your job, but it didn't take long for your patience to snap and you began to talk back to the Prince. All because he just had to be rude to you and everyone else on the ship.
Sure General Iroh had explained the reason behind his behavior, it still didn't excuse him from being so rude all the time. Not to mention brash.
Your skills as a waterbender came in handy whenever he or any of the other soldiers aboard the ship would return with injuries. The soldiers had been wary of your at first, and you them, but in time they had accepted you as one of their own, and would often joke around with you, or seek out your help with an injury or a bruise.
Prince Zuko, on the other hand, had been entirely too stubborn to allow the enemy, his words, to see to his injuries. It wasn't until he had very nearly collapsed from ignoring his injuries, after several run-ins with the Avatar, that he had allowed you to come close and heal him.
Afterwards he had been somewhat civil towards you, and you him. Though there were times when you would berate him for putting himself in unnecessary danger and only coming to you when the pain would be too much for him to handle. He would justify his actions, saying he could handle it. Iroh was usually the mediator between the two of you, always there to make sure neither of you accidentally harmed the other. You had threatened to toss the Prince overboard on more then one occasion.
Funnily enough, he had never ever mentioned hurting you with his firebending.
Your transition from hostile shipmates, to hostile companions was slow-going and took months for the both of you to actually admit that perhaps you both could get along.
Of course, when you had just come to that realization, Zhao had commandeered Zuko's soldiers and ship, to be used to take over the Northern Water Tribe. Iroh had instantly dismissed you from your post, saying your debt had been paid. He had no desire to see you in the hands of the evil man.
Which was why you were now staying at the small inn where Zuko's ship had made its final port. You had no idea where to go from there. You didn't have any family to go back to. You had been saved by General Iroh out of the goodness of his heart. Which was the reason you had stuck to him with the claim that you owned him a debt.
Truthfully you had just felt safe with him, and now?
Where would you go now?
You were so lost in your thoughts, staring at the small cup of tea in your hand that you very nearly jumped out of your skin when the door to your small room slammed open and General Iroh stumbled in, supporting an unconscious and injured figure at his side.
Your eyes widened at who it was. "Zuko!" Your cup clattered to the floor as you ran to help the General lay the Prince down on your bed. A sharp gasp left your lips as you assessed the damage to his body. Burns, cuts, scraps, bruises, gashes. There were so many of them.
"What happened?" You demanded, even as you quickly began to gather supplies. A bucket of water, an old blanket to rip up for bandages and the bag that contained your own salves and pastes to help with the bruising.
"The pirates. They were in league with Zhao and they blew up the ship with Zuko onboard." The man explained, worry for his nephew evident in his gaze as he watched you do you work. Taking a small knife, you quickly cut open the shirt Zuko wore to assess the damage there.
You worked the entire night.
The more serious injuries were healed with your healing abilities and once you had tired yourself out from that, you began to apply the healing salves to whatever small burns and cuts you could find. You were almost out when your patient began to stir.
"Wh-" You reached out to gently grasp his shoulder to keep him from getting up lest he aggravate his injuries.
"Shh....just lie still. You're alright. You're safe." You told him. Pouring the concoction you had steamed a few moments ago, you held the cup to his lips. "Drink this. It'll help with the pain."
For once Zuko made no complaint, as he raised his head just enough to drink the warm liquid. His face grimaced at the taste but you made sure he drank every last drop.
"Your Uncle has gone to get some food. It's nearly afternoon." Outside the sun was high in the sky. Sleep hung heavy in your eyes as your gaze ran over his face. "Does anything hurt? I was able to cure most of the injuries, but I don't know if I missed something." Worry laced your tone as you fussed over the bandages that were wrapped around his forearm.
He pulled back his arm, only to grasp her hand tightly with his own. You were surprised at the strength behind the grip but you met his gaze with your own as he stared at you with an intensity that had never been there before. At least not the kind where you felt your face growing hot and had you averting your gaze after awhile and clearing your throat. His grip softened, allowing you to slip your fingers from his grasp.
"Thank you Y/N." Well that came as a shock. He had never once thanked you for when you treated him. He must've hit his head really hard on something.
Still you didn't say anything, the blush along your cheeks only intensifying as you nodded and cleared your throat. "It was nothing." But it seemed to mean something to him.
Thankfully Iroh returned just then, with food and provisions, and with the way your stomach had been growling, you all but wolfed down the soup and dumplings.
Of course you couldn't ignore the feeling that someone was watching your every move.
You simply focused on the food, too afraid to meet those intense golden eyes again.

not sure if anyone has recomended monster x mediator yet but its such a fun game despite being quite short. the game is supposed to have mutiple routes eventually (which I'm not sure are supposed to be yanderes) but the one it has rn is complete and definitly fits the yandere vibes. If u like things that mix horror with humor and have a funnily pathetic but still terrifing yandere this one is a trip. Also the fact that the guy is a monster that looks like a madness combat character adds to the charm of it in my opinion lol
Tumblr media
I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical about this game, but I saw how pathetic he is and now I'm very much on board. This game is supposed to have four different routes, but currently only has one for now. The comedy and horror is well balanced in the game itself. If you want to try out the demo, you can play it here.
The story starts out with the MC taking on a job for a large sum of money. They are currently in debt and need money quick. After receiving the first half of the money, they are directed to go to some abandoned building to get the other half. After receiving it, they are then told their task to go inside of the building. If the MC tries to run away, they will be shot on the spot. If they accept, they will be faced with a couple of doors. Their boss will then tell them that there are monsters that behind each door, and that the MC's job is to get all of them out of the room without dying.
Going into the red door, the MC is pretty much immediately knocked out before waking up and finding a large monster hovering over them and thousands of things pasted up in the walls. You can successfully get him out of the room in three different ways but can also be killed a couple of other ways as well. The first thing he does is declare himself as the MC's biggest fan, getting so excited that he grips his axe menacingly. If the MC gets him too excited, they will end up killing the MC. The monster (later revealed as 404), talks about how much he loves the MC's fanfiction blog and how he was really sad and depressed when the MC blocked him and even sadder when they stopped writing all together. 404 also reveals that he is such a big fan that he also knows all of the MC's passwords and even their bank account, with all of the fanfiction that they written pasted on the wall. 404 then asks if they want to see where he kills everyone and if they can write a fanfic for him.
If the MC is curious about where all the dead bodies are, 404 will bring them into another room to show them. We learn a lot about 404: he doesn't know what kind of monster he is, doesn't really need to eat, loves to kill with his axe and seems to have regenerative abilities considering he was shot in the head and was completely fine the next day. The MC can have two ways to get him out of the room, both of which are hilarious. The first way is to literally beg 404 to leave by pleading desperately (do you know that let me rizz you up meme? That's what you do) until 404 gets tired and does it for his super star. The other way is to seduce (?) 404 by telling him that it would be sexy of him to leave the room, which works well. We also learn about the facility itself, that 404 has been living there since as far as he remembers, that he loves killing the various people that come in, doesn't like the MC's boss (finds them annoying through the walkie talkie) and pretty much only kills and reading the MC's blog.
If the MC decides to oblige 404 with his obsession, they will start to write on a typewriter as 404 stands behind them excitedly. He keeps on asking the MC to add more and more things, making it 100 pages instead of 10, making the story a romance, making it a romance between him and the MC (noting that "the name Nick is the same as his username", which is a huge stretch).
If the MC refuses to write 100 pages, 404 will end up getting extremely angry and hold the MC by the throat, calling them and humans "bitches". He will start to kill the MC, crying and feeling despair as he kills the MC by choking them to death.
If the MC does oblige, they will write the most god awful fanfiction (their words) and end up pretty much just holding the a key until it fills all 100 pages. 404 ends up crying out of happiness at such a beautiful gift and leaves the room, just as the MC wanted.
First of all, I think that the game does a good job of balancing the horror elements with the comedy. I did not expect to like 404 this much and definitely did not expect his personality to be like this. I did feel it was interesting that 404 believes that the MC's writing would "fix him" and even laments that even though he knows it wouldn't, he still wanted to try when he was killing the MC in a choke hold. He basically is a very feral online fan who meets their super idol (which gives me a bit of incel vibes), but not enough to be extremely obvious, much more than other yanderes, with him saying like he's a gentleman, or that he isn't angry at all despite the fact that he got blocked. I also love the various ways that you can get him out of the room, and just how obsessed he is with the MC. He seems to mostly be an obsessive yandere, with him pasting the fanfic of the MC's work all over his walls, delusionally believing that he is the same character that the MC writes, confessing his feelings to the MC while they're writing, not killing the MC (since apparently he's killed every other person that came in) and wanting the MC's writings to fix him. He is also a pretty pathetic type of yandere, hoping desperately that the MC (and their writings) would fix them, crying when he does kill the MC and generally seeing himself in their writing, but also rather dangerous just due to his violent nature. It's fun to see dangerous but pathetic yanderes since I feel like that's something that I haven't seen to much.
I am curious about how the other monsters will be like. It seems that as of writing this, the Knight Monster is currently delayed, so I guess we'll see if he ends up being a yandere too. I would recommend this game just on it's humor and interesting kind of intrigue about why these monsters are in the buildings themselves. He does look like a madness combat characters, you're right.

i've been thinking about manfred von karma.
gregory edgeworth was a very firm believer in innocence and mediation. everyone deserves someone in their corner, always. and because gregory and von karma are opposites, i think that we can pretty adequately reason that von karma believed in guilt instead. this is evident if you play any of the three cases he is in — no wrongdoing can be glossed over, and guilt must be chased, hounded, must be pinned onto a person. this is the only natural conclusion that can be drawn from wrongdoing. this might seem odd because he himself was a murderer the entire time we knew him (barring the aai2 case), but i don't think it really is if you look at the situation a bit closer. i don't think it's hypocrisy, and i don't think he saw it as hypocrisy, either.
in his eyes, gregory got in the way of justice and very nearly prevented it from coming about. i do not think von karma saw himself as a tool of the law, but rather, an extension of law and justice themselves, and therefore, edgeworth came in the way of those two things. an obstruction of justice. this is what criminals do.
by this logic, murdering gregory is not a crime because this is what von karma does in the courtroom — he executes criminals, perhaps not with his own hands, but he does it nonetheless. the dl-6 incident was courtroom justice with a few steps taken out the middle, a swift and stately execution. the fact that he habitually forged evidence without remorse shows that he didn't view these actions as immoral, that he saw no issue with sidestepping procedure if it allowed for the realization of justice, the far more important thing. after all, he knows the guilt of the defendant and it would be a miscarriage of justice to allow them to pass back into society. gregory edgeworth committed a crime, and von karma, as a man of justice, punished him for it. in his eyes, von karma never committed an unlawful act.
some people say the bullet in his shoulder was a plot (bullet?!) hole or otherwise unreasonable because he could have hired a private doctor to remove it or something similar. he clearly has the means to ensure silence and secrecy. but i disagree. of course he could have, but i think he left it in there on purpose. i think it was like a symbol to him that guilt is enduring and can never be wiped off the board; gregory edgeworth committed a crime by standing in the way of justice and he paid for it, of course, but he passed the debt onto his son, and so he is right to pursue justice by framing the junior edgeworth. you cannot escape punishment by virtue of death, and nor can you remediate your transgressions. miles edgeworth, while a skilled prosecutor and while a shining example of the good of the von karma name, remained a criminal by simple virtue of the blood in his veins, and von karma sought to punish him for it. that is the pillar von karma's character is built on: the inescapability of guilt, and the necessity of punishment that follows.
a lot of people call him a contradictory character, but i think he makes sense a lot of sense. he's very straightforward if you look at him from a certain angle. and of course he is extraordinarily interesting as well!

The piercing strobe lights did nothing to alleviate the oncoming headache Shiu felt. He sat in a circular booth, Toji and Sukuna by his side as they listened to the club manager's- Hudson- incessant monologue of excuses. The last few months had been prosperous ones for their chain of nightclubs which littered the city. All except one, which had brought an influx of police reports, violence, and drug related incidences, posing a threat to the exclusive status they sought to maintain.
The substances and business that came with this type of nightlife was no secret. It was unavoidable and truthfully the trio could not care less; there were only a few rules: don't get caught, don't create trouble, and pay what you owe.
Clearly there must have been some miscommunication along the way.
By looking around there were no obvious reasons for the lack of income. The club was full to the brim, constant movements of the crowd imitated rouge waves and LED panels that ran in strips from ceiling to floor eliminated any attempt at modesty. The room had merged into one neon blur and Shiu found himself counting down the seconds until he could leave.
Though, there was something that had caught his eye among the chaos. Someone.
You were stood on a heightened platform by the DJ wearing a skimpy excuse of an outfit that would no doubt get you arrested for public indecency anywhere else. Your hips moved in provocative rehearsed movements, matching the beat of whatever obscene song was playing and though the sparkling red tassels of your top and skirt made you the embodiment of an encrusted necklace in the catching light, Shius' eyes could not be moved from yours. He was enamored.
What was it? He didn't know and he didn't mind to find out. It was like you were his own private show as the crowd continued, too engrossed in their own ecstasy. How he reveled in it.
"Gentlemen, please understand-"
"We've heard enough of your bullshit, Hudson so don't give us another reason to get rid of you" Toji seethes, as his hand makes hard contact with the table, leaning in dangerously close.
This was the reason Shiu was here. The mediator. The voice of reason between the two hot-heads. But today he needed a break.
"I suggest you understand were the money for the last two months profit went before-"
"I'm getting more drinks" Shiu announces dismissively and Hudson perks up, seeing this as a chance to diffuse the tension. He silently thanks the stars before bursting out,
"No, please! Let one of my girls do that for you-"
"I'll be fine."
"I insist-"
"No."
And with that, he left, impartial to Hudson's badly disguised plea.
Tumblr media
You had never felt so high- well, you had probably never been so high either considering the amount of swirling smoke that lingered in the air- but that was besides the point. Tonight you felt alive. You didn't need this job. With your father being a successful business man and overall coming from a stable background of money you never had to worry about keeping the lights on. You had the best nanny, were sent to the best nursery, primary school, college and now university where you weren't going to leave drowning in debt. Your life was one everyone else dreamed of, never experiencing the materialistic lows...never experiencing the familial highs- not going as far to say you have daddy issues, no, but you had never been particularly close with either of your parents and left school with only superficial relationships.
Maybe that was why you found yourself in these situations. Flirting but never dating, changing personalities depending on who you met, just doing enough to have someone take interest in you was all you ever needed to feel the adrenaline surge through your veins. The attention made you happy and now you were getting all of it.
Getting all of it from him.
Throughout your set you kept your eyes trained on him. A faceless silhouette of a man who seemed ever so intrigued. It wasn't the first time a client paid increased interest in you -that was how you bought the £2000 fur coat you came here in- but it was the first time you paid any interest back, his face becoming visible as he stood up, disappearing into the unidentifiable crowd. Which is why you made your way down from the platform without a second thought.
Hudson would probably scold you later for it but that didn't matter. Supposedly he was in a meeting for the majority of the night anyway, so if none of the other girls let it slip then he wouldn't have to know in the first place.
Waltzing through the room in character you frantically scoped for the man like a predator to its prey until you spotted him- sat on a stool at the bar.
Now what? From the watch on his right hand and his suit you could tell he had money, or at least was good at pretending he did but- who wore a suit to a nightclub? Maybe he was an unfortunate salary man down on his luck but with such a strict dress code, what were the chances of him being let in? Was he here to make a deal with Hudson? You prayed it wasn't the latter, if you messed this up there would be no amount of pleading that could stop you from being fired and as much as you didn't need this job, you loved it. There's no use turning back now. You've already left your post so you might as well have a good reason for it.
Walking up from behind him you dragged your hand across the back of his shoulders as you sat, allowing the tips of your pink patterned nails to press through his blazer into his skin.
"You've been watching me." You say, eyes fluttering in a sultry gaze.
Good God was he handsome. His dark hair was kept short, combed intentionally to the side. He looked up at you with fox-like eyes, you couldn't decided whether they were dark green or light brown but it didn't take much effort to be captivated by them and the charming smile he graced you with.
"I could say the same to you."
You feign a giggle, inching your hand to take the drink in his before continuing,
"You're quite the sight, not everyday a man in a suit comes into a place like this."
He chuckles.
"Sorry for not matching your attire sweetheart, but I'm here for business."
"Good to know."
You knew better than to ask what kind. You smile up at him, eyes staring into his as you take a swing of his drink- the once scorching burn now a mere tingle down your throat.
"Drinking on the job?" he raises an eyebrow at you
"I'm not, I'm entertaining a customer."
"By drinking the customers drink?"
"He didn't have anything to say when i took it, so yes. Unless my generous customer would like to buy me a drink instead?"
Shiu laughs at your boldness. You certainly matched your appearance and if it weren't for the fact he had been drinking, he worried the slight pink flush on his face would give away your salacious affect on him.
"And what will the lady have?" He asks showing the bartender his card.
"whatever this was, please" you say gesturing to the cup.
"How polite"
"I thought i was a lady"
"A lady who i don't yet know the name of"
"That's okay, I think i prefer the ones you've given me so far"
The night progressed with flirty exchanges, the two of you sharing basic information about yourselves until you knew where he grew up- Korea- and he knew about your university life. It was the first time in a while you felt someone had paid genuine interest in you, asking thoughtful questions about the topic and picking up on minor details. If you weren't careful you could easily tell him your life story as you began to unintentionally let your guard down, prior thoughts of rinsing him of his money slipping away from your mind in the midst of your newly found amity. He had remained respectful during your encounter, keeping a fair distance, eyes not wondering once.
It wasn't until the familiar buzzing sound that signaled your next act blared through the speaker had you realised just how long you had spent together.
"Oh shit...Unfortunately I have to leave you, it's my turn back on the platform" you smile tepidly.
"That's a shame, Doll. I enjoyed your company", His deep voice begins as he stands up. So he was tall too? It all seemed too good to be true. "Am I still not allowed to know your name?"
"I don't know yours" you step forward.
"Shiu."
You take another step, reaching up to rest your hands on his shoulders and keep balance as you stood on your toes, pressing a soft, prolonged kiss on his defined cheek.
oh bold you were.
"Thank you for the drinks, Shiu"
You turned around, walking off without a second glance.
Tumblr media
Shiu stood there, watching as you disappeared out of view with a face of disbelief. Should he of felt used? Maybe, but he couldn't help but want more. Now he had a taste of you he couldn't feel satisfied with just a view from a booth. He wanted to know more. He wanted to ask more. More...more...His head filled with inquisitive ruminations. He wondered if he should've asked for a number, though he could find that through records just like your name, he wanted it to be you who told him.
Wandering back to the booth he was greeted with empty seats, the first major warning sign. He let out a deep sigh, already knowing where the rest of the night was heading.
The music died down as he made it to the back of the building, soon being replaced with a series of grunts and the cracking of knuckles. He opened the door to find blood splattered on the concrete floor, acting as a red carpet to his arrival.
Sukuna sat ontop of Hudson landing blow after blow to his face while Toji sat on top of an empty shipping crate watching intently with a cigarette hanging from his mouth. His knuckles where red indicating he was simply taking a break before he decided to join Sukuna again in their little spontaneous activity.
"Where the hell have you been?!" The aforementioned man yells out passing the two men on the floor with a look that could kill.
"I got busy with something. Last time i remembered killing someone was not in our plans for tonight"
"Don't try and tell me about 'our plans for tonight' when you pissed off to fuck knows where, Shiu"
"All I'm saying is we are going to have to cover this up and find a replacement before tomorrow-"
"That's your problem to worry about now, don't you think?", Sukuna pauses his actions to speak, "Compensation for slacking off today. We were the ones who put in the hard work of finding out where the money went after all."
Shiu shakes his head in deep irritation before letting out a sound of agreement. He knew what would happen if he left them alone, this was the price to pay.
It looks like you're getting a new boss.

nemesis cabin headcanons
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
children of nemesis
• they’re the ONLY cabin that is safe from pranks by the hermes cabin.
• they never have problems with balancing chemistry equations.
• whenever someone from camp needs to settle a debate/argument, they always ask someone from the nemesis cabin to be the mediator/judge.
• they're also frequently asked to be referees for games of capture the flag, as their reputation for fair judgment makes them ideal for ensuring the game is played with integrity and without bias.
• when a child of vengeance is saved of a certain death by another demigod, they now owe a debt to their savior.
• whenever the savior calls for help, they are obligated to come and help them no matter the danger.
• they are all CRAZY competitive. it’s like they're in pre-revenge mode.
• the demigod that nemesis traded the ability to make a difference in the world for one of their eyes was nick fury (and ethan).
• at this point, she just has a passion for children with eyepatches.
• i can just picture nemesis cackling and pointing to her children "you get an eyepatch" "you get an eyepatch!" "but mom-" "EYEPATCH FOR YOUUUUUUUUU!!"
• they care the least about the appearance of other people, because they see their mother as the person they hate most.
• the hephaestus cabin helped them build a gigantic celestial bronze scale in the middle of their cabin.
• they don't get along well with the children of athena, largely because many of them struggle with hubris as their fatal flaw.
• since nemesis is the goddess who punishes those who are overly prideful or self-assured, this same principle extends to her children, creating natural tension between the two groups.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
cabin exterior
• the cabin has dark stone walls, almost like slate or obsidian, giving it a brooding, intimidating appearance. the stones have subtle cracks running through them, symbolizing the balance of vengeance and justice.
• deep red and crimson accents are used around the cabin to signify blood, vengeance, and the balance of power. the entrance to their cabin is a red door. it has the scales of justice etched into it, representing nemesis’ role.
• above the doorway, there is a carving of an eagle, nemesis' sacred animal, holding a sword in its talons. the sword represents retribution, and the eagle embodies her watchful, unforgiving nature.
• a small statue of nemesis herself stands in front of the cabin, holding her sword and scales, symbolizing the ever-present concept of justice. her eyes are made from rubies, watching those who come and go.
• the shadows cast by the cabin seem to move subtly, giving the impression that the cabin itself is watching or judging those nearby. these shadows stretch and shift depending on the actions of the people passing by.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
cabin interior
• the central theme of the cabin is balance. there are symbolic representations of scales EVERYWHERE— on the walls, carved into the furniture, painted in murals. every item in the cabin is placed with perfect symmetry, reinforcing the idea of equilibrium and fairness.
• instead of modern lights, the cabin is illuminated by dark iron lanterns or torches with low, flickering flames, casting dramatic shadows around the room. this lighting adds to the cabin’s mysterious and foreboding atmosphere.
• the furniture is made of dark wood— oak and mahogany— each piece sturdy and simple, but elegantly crafted. the chairs and beds have an almost throne-like quality, with high backs and intricate carvings, to emphasize power and authority.
• large mirrors are placed strategically around the cabin, but these mirrors do not show your true reflection. instead, they show you as balanced with your opposite. for example, someone who is overly confident might see themselves looking unsure or humble. these mirrors serve as a reminder that nemesis governs balance in all things.
• the floor is made of glossy black marble, cold and smooth underfoot. some areas are etched with swirling, abstract patterns that represent fate and karma, with a glowing red hue filling in the designs at night.
Tumblr media
cabin traditions
• they have a tradition of making penance offerings or performing acts of restitution for any personal wrongs they’ve committed, reflecting their dedication to correcting imbalances.
• every month, the members hold a ceremony where they balance scales to symbolize their commitment to justice and fairness. this involves a ritual where they offer symbolic items representing their past grievances and mistakes.
• they frequently engage in debates about justice and morality, using these discussions to hone their skills in resolving conflicts and understanding different perspectives on retribution.
• each member keeps a small stone where they inscribe significant personal experiences related to justice and retribution, creating a collective memory of the cabin’s journey and values.

🟨 SAMARIA COUNTER-TERROR OP HEATS UP - Morning events from Israel
ISRAEL REALTIME - Connecting to Israel in Realtime
▪️A HERO SOLDIER HAS FALLEN.. Amit Friedman, 19, from Or Yehuda fell in battle in Gaza.  May his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem, and may G-d avenge his blood.
▪️JUDEA-SAMARIA - an extensive IDF divisional operation began in three areas in Samaria, Tubas, Tulkarm, Jenin. Various firefights, 11 terrorists eliminated.  Parts of Jenin and Tulkarm without power and water due to IDF activity.
.. Enemy report: IDF forces are operating simultaneously in several locations in the West Bank - in Jenin, in the Noor al-Shams, in the Tulkarm, and in Al-Fara in the Tubas area.  IDF forces deployed by the hospitals.
.. Enemy report: a vehicle was attacked in the Jenin area, three (terrorists) were killed in the attack.
.. Foreign Minister Katz on the operation in Jenin and Tulkarm: "Iran is working to establish an eastern terrorist front against Israel in the West Bank, according to the Gaza and Lebanon model. We must deal with the threat just as we deal with the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza - including the temporary evacuation of residents.”
.. IDF D9 bulldozers plowing roads to find landmines and IEDs.
▪️YEMEN.. extreme weather, storms and heavy flooding, continue in Yemen with massive impact.  This is likely the reason why the Houthis have not attacked Israel in a while.
▪️OBSERVATION BALLOON/BLIMP.. After Hezbollah hit the "Tal Shamayim" military observation balloon/mini-blimp in the north of the country, the Ministry of Defense and the IDF are considering canceling the project, not fixing the system and closing the dedicated unit that was established for the purpose of operating it.
▪️SIREN TESTS TODAY..  10:00 in Nechusha, Bnei Darom and in Yavneh.
▪️ECONOMY - THE MINUS.. in Israel 40% of bank customers - 2.5 million people - are in overdraft, including even a third of the customers in the top deciles, and all of them pay insane interest.  (In Israel your credit card has a strict limit that must be paid off monthly, BUT your bank account is allowed to go negative - with a limit - for which you pay high interest, like you do on credit card debt it the U.S.  This is commonly referred to as “a minus”, as in a negative balance in the bank account.  Last I saw the minus interest rate was around 15%.)
⭕ Last rocket/drone alert was 7:30 PM last night.  (Usually immediately after I write and post this there is an alarm.)
🔸DEAL NEWS.. A delegation of the working ranks from Mossad and Shin Bet will leave for Doha, Qatar today after holding consultations in Israel and returning from Cairo, Egypt last night. The delegation is expected to continue the working talks with the mediators with the aim of working to reduce the gaps in the open issues of the outline of a hostage/ceasefire deal.  The delegation is expected to meet with representatives of Egypt, Qatar and the US, who continue negotiations and work with Israel and Hamas.  The source briefed on the details said that the issues are very complex.

can i ask you for more about omegas and alphas reaction of beta and his boyfriend from the last promt?
Of course!!
I think the alphas would mainly be confused. Why would an alpha who is incredibly rich and powerful go for a beta? The guy has so many options and he goes for a boring beta with student loan debt and could is best used as a mediator. Most alphas never look twice at betas. I'd guess these alphas are super vain and egotistical more than likely they don't even really see omegas as people, and only look at their breeding potential or looks. They would probably grill the beta with questions trying to figure out what exactly this beta is giving the alpha to get this kind of attention. They might try to ask the rich alpha, but he would threaten them, and they'd take the hint.
The omegas are absolutely. FUMING!! Who does this beta think he is, taking such an eligible bachelor like that. That would be even more confused than the alphas. What does he have that they don't? The beta can't have kids, isn't motherly. It is a genuine possibility that one of the omegas may try to attack him. They are just as vain as the alphas if not worse. This would probably be the reason the beta leaves the group.

Chart Ruler in the 12 Houses, Pt. 2
Tumblr media
2nd part of my first post on chart rulers! Hope you enjoy. 7th house: This is a very interesting placement, because you may tend to project your own qualities unto others under a subconscious belief that you do not possess them. You are very pleasing with others, though, and may be worried with building long-term and equal relationships with those you care about. For you, having really close friends or a life-partner will be felt as a need, a deep desire. You are a great negotiator and like to be a mediator when you sense conflict. You will tend to be relationship-oriented and will see close contacts as beautiful, something that brings ease and pleasure each and every time. The downside is that you can be overly pleasing or devoted to those you care about without receiving the same amount of love and affection in return. You can also experience indecision when it comes to important life decisions because you will tend to see everyone’s point of view and will not like to stir conflict even if keeping quite is at your own expense. Malefic planets may cause more harm than good however, so it’s important that you are very conscious of the types of relationships you are attracted to and be very mindful of your own integrity, needs and wants when your build intimacy in them.
8th house: Your life events will continuously trigger deep transformations in you. You will be appealed to the unknown and have a keen talent for uncovering truths and revealing secrets, from others but also from life itself. Yours will be a constant pursuit of authenticity and because of this, superficial interactions or endeavors won’t seem attractive. Your own experiences will propel you into your own destruction or healing, depending on age and how well integrated your personality is. You may stumble upon near-death experiences, illness, crisis, debt, secrets and the forbidden as ways to connect you back to yourself, something that makes this placement a bit dark but very praising once you’ve learned your lessons, once you’ve learned to harness all your emotional and mental powers for the good. Turbulent events will create a new version of you each and every time, and this is why your life purpose consists of overcoming “tests”, of getting in touch with the highest version of yourself as you annihilate your ego. Before healing takes place, the most difficult facets of having your Chart ruler in the 8th will be the tendency towards excessive control, manipulation, obsession, jealousy, possessiveness, lower passions, compulsive/repressed sexuality and/or even dwelling dangerously on the occult. You may be the one who provokes all these but may also fall prey to them if you don’t place the right boundaries in your relationships! You may need to work on karmic issues related to Scorpio’s realm.
9th house: Truth and expansion is your ultimate goal. Your purpose consists of building your own meaning of life, to discover what you are meant to do in this Earth and to understand your existence from a higher perspective. Your soul is meant to evolve through exhilaration, spirituality, and righteousness in this lifetime. Your pursuit is more intellectual and divine than material. You want to become boundless and experience everything firsthand. You will not be satisfied with theory alone and instead, will seek to live your passions through your own perspectives and circumstances. Expressing and sharing what you’ve learned so far is one of your biggest motivators. Constructing your own philosophy gives you direction and purpose in life. You see life as an adventure but may be reckless or ungrounded as you go through this journey. As much as your vision is grandiose and inspiring, sometimes you can suffer from blind optimism or from holding your standards to utopic heights. Your need from freedom may make you go far in life, just don’t forget that others can’t run as fast or high as you! And you don’t need to convince others to see things your way. The purest form of inspiration comes from own example and not from preaching!
10th house: Your soul purpose has to do with creating your own merits, similar to having your chart ruler in your 2nd house, but with the difference that wealth and success will be actively pursued upon and will be achieved through career, most likely. With this placement, you want to be in control of your own life and will strive to be independent. You don’t like to rely on others to do as you please, especially regarding finances. It’s highly likely you had a huge influence from one of your parents, and no matter if it’s positive or negative, it instigates in you ambition and drive to be someone in the world. You can be a bit detached, cold or stern, or even fear intimacy and vulnerability because of how you perceive the world. Your image and overall health may help or undermine your professional progress. You are likely to become successful because of your resilience, determination and stamina, just be careful of not falling into the illusion that materialism and economic abundance are the most important goals in life! In brief, you are meant to organize your life according to your desires, learn how to reap the fruits of your own labor and escalate social and economic status by your own devices as part of your soul’s mission.
11th house: Your focus is placed on achieving your dreams and to leave something transcendent for humanity. Your heart’s calling will be hard to ignore, and you will engage life from this perspective, wanting to find your own emancipation from other’s expectations and views so you can shine from a place of altruism and brilliant thinking. You may be individualistic and will want to live by your own terms, which makes it a bit hard to find common ground in close relationships. However, your visionary and idealistic approach is certainly meant to inspire others so they aim high and achieve their dreams and passions, just as you do. You are meant to help others with your mind and altruistic nature. The sign in which your Chart Ruler sits will tell you how it will happen. Having a circle of like-minded acquaintances or a community where you feel you belong is very important, not only because this creates security in yourself and gives you a sense of purpose, but because accomplishing your desires is more likely to happen through these networks. Just try not to be so arbitrary with how you move through life, and use your charitable nature to attract good luck!
12th house: When your Chart Ruler sits in the last karmic house, your personality is not so open or expressive. You may be shy or introverted, and this is because you may feel overwhelmed by the world. Since the 12th house speaks of mystical and unknown things, your life may deliver several paranormal or spiritual experiences that are meant to teach you how to navigate the unseen realms. Depending on the planet, you can be very psychic and intuitive, and able to hear, see or feel things that are otherworldly. You may have problems with addictions, boundaries, and deception, but your soul incarnated this way for you to learn how to overcome these so you can guide less awakened people and help others who are misfortunate or outcast. You yourself may feel like an alien, and may need a lot of privacy and alone time to charge up. You have the capacity to become a healer and a spiritual guru if you wanted to as long as you manage to navigate your rich, ultra-sensitive and profound inner world so it doesn´t control you! Your nature is complex and deep, but your healing capacity is immense, just like the other water signs.
Thanks for reading! 🥰

Lightning Bug - Chapter 21
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Warning: panic attack, nightmare, mention of past turture, trauma dump, religious abuse, mention of murder, protective avengers
Word count: 5.1k (we are less than 3,000 words from this fic being over 100,000 words)
Wanda enjoyed this alone time as she mediated with her thoughts and how things in her life were changing. Sometimes her thoughts scarred and worried her. At times they were dark and depressing but she knew there was light at the end of the tunnel. The witch smiled. “I know your there,” she said. Her accent was thicker when she was in this state. Wanda opened her eyes and saw Vision standing in the doorway. He looked worried and conflicted. “What’s wrong?” She asked as her feet touched the ground.
“It’s difficult to explain.”
“Try,” Wanda said. The android sighed, closing the door and sitting down in the empty chair.
“Miss. Y/n and I played a game of chess last night and she seemed rather upset,” Wanda frowned. She must have not gone back to bed once they left her. “We talked a bit and when she was going back to bed she asked if she could touch the mind stone and I let her.”
“You did what?” Wanda questioned in disbelief.
“I know it was incredibly irresponsible -”
“It could have killed her!” She knew her eyes flashed a hit of red but Vision remained calm. Gods, he was one of the smartest individual in the tower but he lacked such common sense.
“But it didn’t,” he folded his hands. “Similar to how it didn’t kill you or your brother when you came into contact with it.” He was right. It didn’t kill them but it changed them. “I know it was wrong of me to do but she trusted me enough. Doesn’t that say something?” Wanda nodded, taking a calming breath.
“What happened?” She asked and pulled up a chair to sit down with him.
“That’s why I wanted to talk to you,” he said. “I do no know. She touched the stone and normally I can know what occurred similar to when you touch it. But I felt nothing. It was as if the stone didn’t want me to see what it showed her,” Wanda’s frown deepened. “I asked what she saw but she claimed she saw nothing.”
“Is she in danger?” Wanda asked. She would do anything to keep the young girl safe.
“I don’t know,” Vision admitted. “But something is coming and I fear our young friend may be caught in the cross fire. Maybe if you can get her to confess what she saw in the mind realm it could give us a clue on how to protect her.”
*
“What is happening?” Wanda asked as she stepped out of the elevator. Her head was spinning with Vision’s warning. She made him promise to keep it between them until they could get more information. It was unnecessary to worry the team if they weren’t sure something was coming. During the elevator ride up to her floor, she tossed around the idea of telling Natasha. She wasn’t sure yet. She was in need of a cold shower to clear her head but she saw Kate with scissors in her hand about to cut Y/n’s hair. The archer froze, smiling as if she got caught with her hand in the cookie jar.
“She wanted a hair cut and no on that was qualified enough to cut hair was around,” Kate explained. “So here we are.” Wanda crossed her arms with an amused smile on her face.
“And you couldn’t wait for someone?” The young girl giggled.
“I did suggest that,” Kate defended. “But it’s very hard to say no to that face especially when she gives you puppy dog eyes.” The eyes in questioned locked onto her green ones. They were so much brighter compared to when she first saw that girl on the side of the road. Wanda promised herself to never let that light go out. With a sigh, she walked over the duo.
“Give me the scissors,” Kate sighed in relief and handed them over to Wanda.
“A life savor,” The archer praised. “Truly a life savor. I owe you a great debt Wanda Maximoff,” the witch rolled her eyes and stood behind the girl. “Now I have to go call Clint. See ya.”
“Bye Kate,” Y/n waved. “Tell everyone I say hi!” The archer gave a salute and headed off towards her room.
“So,” Wanda said, gently brushing her hair. It was freshly washed and it came down to the middle of her back. “Why do you want to cut your hair?” Wanda watched the girl’s shoulders move up and down.
“Never liked my hair long,” she began. “But no one would cut it when I was growing up and I didn’t really let people touch me to cut it,” she sighed. “I remember finding kid scissors in my brother’s room and I tried to cut it myself,” her body shook as she laughed. “Didn’t go well as you can imagine.” Wanda smiled as she set the brush down. “I was grounded for 2 weeks because of the mess I made,” her voice got soft. “I still have the scar on my shoulder where my father grabbed me and threw me into the wall.” Anger bubbled in Wanda’s chest. It was a mystery to her on how a father could hurt his child. She pushed the feeling down.
“How short are we thinking?” Wanda asked, changing the direction of the conversation.
“Maybe to my shoulders and we can go from there.”
“Sounds like a plan,” Wanda began to cut the long hair that was desperately need of a good cut. She wondered why her or Natasha didn’t suggest this to the teen earlier. Were there other things they were neglecting? “Vision told me that you and he played chest last night,” Wanda said. “Could you not fall asleep after your nightmare?” The teen shook her head. “Keep your head still,” the witch giggled.
“Sorry,” she said and Wanda could hear the smile in her voice. “I tried to,” she continued. “The room felt to small so I walked around the tower and found Vision. I like him. There is something abut him that makes me feel safe,” Wanda understood that feeling. He helped her overcome her grief of losing her brother and her actions in Laos.
“How are you feeling?” It took a minute for the girl to answer as she did a mental category of everything.
“Good, just a little tired and I have a headache but Kate gave me something for that.” The problem was Wanda felt the girl’s honestly and what worried her more was she wasn’t holding anything back. Wanda’s frown deepened. “Are you mad at Vision because he let me touch the mind stone?” The witch sighed.
“No, honey, but it was very dangerous and you could have gotten hurt.” The girl twisted around in the chair to face her.
“I didn’t see anything,” she said. “I promise. If I did I would tell you,” Wanda smiled.
“It’s okay, I believe you. Now,” she gently turned the teen forward. “Stop moving so I can finish cutting your hair.” The witch believed her. She felt no dishonestly in her words or in her mind. Whatever she saw or whoever she spoke with made her forget what she saw. That worried Wanda even more.
*
You didn’t like the feeling of loose hair on your neck so you took a quick shower once Wanda was done. You loved your hair, it was short and easy to manage. So many times people grabbed onto your hair to hold you in place or pull you back. It was nice to be free from that. You hung up the towel when your hair was dry and walked out of your room. “You cut your hair!” America exclaimed when you entered the main area. Her and Yelena were sitting on the couch with Natasha in the kitchen.
“Yeah,” you said, feeling your face flush at the attention. “Do you like it?” She continued to stare at you until Yelena hit her in the stomach.
“Yeah,” she cleared her throat. “It looks good. Yeah, good,” the blonde rolled her eyes and mumbled, ‘Ya Delayu Eto (idiot).’ “What did you just call me?” You giggled and sat down at the kitchen counter.
“Wanda said you asked her to cut your hair,” Natasha said.
“Actually, I asked Kate but Wanda took the scissors from her,” you giggled.
“That is probably for the best,” Yelena said, appearing next to her sister. “She would not have done a good job.” You smiled. Yelena hit her hip against the redhead, you didn’t like the way both of them were looking at you. You raised your eyebrow in question.
“Do you want to join Yelena and I for a walk?” You looked between knowing well they were hiding something.
“Yeah sure,” you said. “Sounds like fun.” You expected them to lead you outside to walk around a park but they lead you to the training area and onto the track. It was surrounded by windows that over locked the city and letting natural light in. You wondered what it would look like in the winter. The Black Widow due walked on either side of you. “So,” you said after you finished the first lap. “Are you going to tell me what you really want to talk about?” Yelena chuckled.
“There is no keeping secrets from this one,” you nodded your eyes.
“Helen suggested that adding exercise can aid in your recovery,” Natasha explained. “Plus I agree with Wanda and I think it’s a good idea to train your abilities so you don’t hurt yourself.”
“Will that make me an Avenger?”
“Do you want to be an Avenger?” You shrugged.
“Not really. Seems like a lot of paperwork.” Yelena laughed.
“You are so right,” she said. “Those mission reports give me nightmares.” Natasha pinched her sister which caused the blonde to yelp. “It’s true! Maria made me redo one 3 times!”
“That’s because you wrote the entire thing in hieroglyphics, then piglatin, and finally English,” Yelena shrugged.
“As Deputy Director she should be well versed in multiple languages,” Natasha shook her head with a sigh. You liked watching the two Black Widows interact with one another. There were moments where you saw Caleb and yourself in them. They desperately wanted to protect one another, it was the same for you. But there were times you wished you and Caleb could be more playful as they were; joking around and teasing with one another. You both were focused on surviving. Sometimes you would sneak into his room and talk and () your laughter so you wouldn’t get caught. You loved those memories. “Natasha talked to Steve and myself, Wanda, or Maria will be helping you train. As well as Nat,” she added. It was a good plan and you felt safe with those people.
“There is more we need to talk about,” you figured as much. “Helen also said there is damage to your hippocampus. There is ways to heal it; exercising being one of them and you need to stop hurting yourself.” You never planned to let it get that bad again. You felt guilty for worrying everyone.
“Hippocampus,” you repeated back to her. “What is that?”
“It’s part of your brain that helps with memory,” Yelena answered. “Have you been experiencing memory loss?” You weren’t sure. There were moments you could remember crystal clear like you were watching a movie. Your memories when you were with HYDRA or living on the streets, there were gaps. Not everything was clear but you chalked it up to your brain protecting you from traumatic events. You nodded. “Those memories may come back,” you frowned, stopping in your tracks. The duo kept walking before stopping when they realized you weren’t following.
“What’s wrong, dorogoy (sweetheart)?” Natasha asked, walking back over to you.
“I don’t want to remember,” you whispered. You didn’t. You wanted to forget all the pain you caused, the blood on your hands, and the screams. The screams were the worst part. “I want to forget all those horrible things they made me do.”
“Who is they?” Natasha knelt in front of you, gently taking your hands in hers. There was a burning feeling to tell them. To come clean and wash away all the hidden secrets. They must know, right? You’ve told them you’ve killed, the your hands have been tainted red with blood. What other organization was in the business of kidnapping people and turning them into weapons? They were waiting for you to tell them, to take that leap of faith.
“HYDRA,” your voice shook. “They took me off the streets, promised me a safe place to sleep and food. I didn’t-” your lips trembled. “I didn’t want to do it.”
“Oh I know,” Natasha cooed, whipping away your tears tat fell. “Your okay,” she promised. “They won’t hurt you, never again.” You believed her and she brought you into a tight hug. You burrowed your face in her shirt, letting more tears fall.
“It’s hard when you start to remember the things you’ve done,” you turned to face the blood, still wrapped in Natasha’s arms. She was leaning against the railing with a frown on her face, starring at her shoes. “It’s like a scab over a cut so you always know it’s there but the cut opens it seems to hurt more than the first time.” Finally, she looked at you. The look in eyes reminded you of that day in the gun range, far off and dazed.
“How do you move on?” You asked softly. She chuckled, looking away. She clicked her tongue to the rood of her mouth.
“Like a scar, it takes time,” you wished she had a different answer.
“But you have us,” your attention went back to the Black Widow. “You are safe here and no matter what happened in your past it won’t change how we see you now.”
“Promise?” You questioned.
“Promise.” Yelena reassured you.
*
You stayed in your room until dinner, going over what Natasha and Yelena said. You were exhausted and grateful that those around you didn’t force you talk talk, you needed the quiet to decompress. Even Helen’s voice rang in your head, ‘you need to let them in and allow them to shoulder that fear with you.’ Oh but you were so scared to do that. Even with the promise that they wouldn’t look at you differently, you were still scared. So when dinner came around, you didn’t engage in the conversation as they asked Bruce how Wakanda was. Instead, you pushed your food around your plate to lost in your own thoughts. Once dinner was put away, Tony ordered ice cream for everyone. It was suppose to be a fun team bonding experience but the ice cream made your stomach twist as you listened to the team talk and laugh. “Hey,” America whispered, pumping your shoulder against yours. “Are you okay?” You sighed, not meaning it to be loud enough to grab the attention of other other Avengers. You swirled your spoon in your ice cream so the colors were mixed together.
“I,” you sighed again, feeling angry with yourself for not finding the correct words. “I want to tell all of you about what happened to me, if that’s okay?” The mood of the group shifted and you felt a little bad but you needed to do this now before you lost the courage.
“Of course, " Wanda smiled. “Take your time.” You crossed your legs and focused on your ice cream.
“I was born with this ability,” you started. You knew some of them knew that but you thought it was good to start from the beginning. Dropping your spoon, electricity danced around your fingers. “They didn’t surface until I was about 4 but even then my parents made it clear they wanted nothing to do with me,” you took another spoonful of your ice cream, hand shaking slightly. “They didn’t want a second kid and my mother didn’t know she was pregnant until a friend told her. He claimed God spoke to him through a dream and told him of the pregnancy. But I wasn’t going to be a gift, I was going to be a curse. That not even the Devil wanted me.” You heard Natasha scuff. You smiled at the sound, imagining the red head rolled her eyes and Wanda quietly having to tell her to behave. You kept your eyes trained down. “So they kept me a secret, only a trusted few new about me.”
“Why didn’t they give you up for adoption?” ate questioned. It was a good one that you asked yourself all the time.
“I learned quickly that my father enjoyed two things; power and control,” you answered. “There I was a young girl desperate for her father’s love. I did everything I could to get it, no matter how many times he hit me,” you whispered, shaking your head. “Anyways, I accidental shocked my brother. They were furious and locked me in a small room in the basement for 3 days. The only reason I survived was Caleb bring me food and water. He had to be careful too. He was my parents’ favorite but that didn’t always protect him. When they found out I lived, they sent a priest to form an exorcism on me to get the Devil out.”
“You were 4 years old,” you heard the anger in every word Yelena said. You nodded. Your father held you down at the priest performed it. It wasn’t the only one you had to endure but they didn’t need to know that.
“Obviously, it didn’t work,” you chuckled, trying to lighten up the situation. “I remember they made me kneel in the corner and pray to God to save me. I spent hours reading over the bible,” you took another bite of your ice cream. It was melted but it was a good distraction. “That went on for a year or two until they realized I could use my powers to benefit them. I gave power to the church, our home, and those who knew I existed but it was not good enough. Every bad thing that happened I was to blame, someone leaving the church, my father getting into a chair accident, or my brother getting sick. It was all my fault and one day I snapped,” you felt America tangle her hand with your free one, squeezing it tight. You were grateful for it.
“You don’t have to continue, sweetie,” Pepper said. You smiled at the CEO. You were almost done with this section of your story.
“Caleb went to school,” you continued. “And my father wouldn’t stop yelling. I don’t remember why he was upset,” your voice began to shake. “The pressure was building and I couldn’t stop it. It became to much and I let go. I woke up to the house around me was burnt to the ground. First responders were on their way and I ran,” you finally looked up at the Black Widow, seeing nothing but warmth in her eyes. “I learned later they said it was an electrical fire but it was me.” A heavy silence fell among the group, it was Tony that broke it.
“Look I’ll be the first one to say it since we are all thinking it. They got what they deserved,” Pepper gasped, slapping the billionaire.
“Tony! I can not believe you said that!” She shirked. You fought a smile that was forming on your face.
“What? I know we are all thinking it, tell me I’m wrong!” No one said anything. “See my point. Look kid,” he stopped mid sentence. “I have words for wisdom to tell you but I fear my wife so I’ll tell you when we are alone.” You laughed, whipping away a tear that fell.
“What I think Mr. Stark is trying to say,” Vision said. “We are very sorry you had to endure that as a child.”
“Yeah, shit,” Rhodey said. But there was a second half to your story. That was a nice intermission. You finished your melted ice cream, set it on the table, and leaned back onto the couch still holding onto America’s hand. It grounded you.
“To no one’s surprise,” you continued. “I was an easy target on the streets by the other kids, adults, and authorities. I was a quiet kid to afraid to fight back because I didn’t want to hurt anyone. But I survived the best I could then a man approached me,” you looked down at your lap. Sometimes you felt so stupid for trusting him. “He promised me a safe place to sleep, food, and that other ids were going to be there. I went with him.”
“You weren’t stupid for believing he was telling the truth,” Sam said. You shrugged.
“He brought me this black van and he drugged me. When I came to I was in a cell and I found out I was with HYDRA. Very quickly they learned they couldn’t use their normal methods because I could redirect the electricity,” you smiled. “Pop quiz, what is great conductor for electricity?” You looked up, watching the gears turn in Bruce and Tony’s head.
“Water,” the doctor said. You nodded, keeping your eyes on the floor.
“If I didn’t complete the mission, they would fill a tub of water, force me inside,” you looked at Bucky. “And electrify it.” The color drained from this face, making his blue eyes pop. “I tried to redirect it but the onslaught was to much.”
“What did you do for them?” Steve asked.
“Anything they wanted,” you whispered. “I did everything that man told me to. I was his little spark and he was papa,” Bucky licked his lips. “I tortured, killed, and helped reset the Winter Solider,” it was so silent. You feared the could hear the beating of your heart. “Do you remember me?” You asked Bucky. “Because I’m so sorry, I didn’t want to hurt you.” God, you could hear his screams echoing in your head.
“So am I,” Bucky got up suddenly, leaving towards the direction of his room. The others watched the man leave.
“I’d go make sure he’s okay,” you told Steve. “Those few years weren’t kind to us,” the blonde hesitated to leave but you nodded. “It was an endless cycle. He’d hurt me, I’d hurt him, it wasn’t fun.”
“How did you escape?” Natasha asked. You sighed, resting your head on America’s shoulder.
“I did what I do best and burnt the place to the ground,” you said softly. “I made it back to the states and lived on the streets until Natasha found me.” You were exhausted. It was an emotionally charged day.
“Shit,” Sam said. You chuckled at the blunt comment. “Not sure if I want to hug you or hurt everyone that has hurt you.”
“Get in line, Wilson,” you saw the same anger in Natasha’s eyes when you told her about the incident a the Barrera house or when the shop owner put his hand on you. Everyone seemed to share the same look, even Bruce looked upset. You smiled.
“The past is the past,” you said. “Can’t change it. I just have to keep on moving forward.” America squeezed your hand.
“With all of us by your side.” Yeah, you thought, that sounded nice.

“Buck,” Steve said, chasing after the man. “Bucky, hold on.” He finally caught up to him and grabbed onto his arms. He could see that he was on the verge of a panic attack.
“I can’t,” he struggled to say. His blue eyes were wide, frantically looking around. “I can’t be in the same room as her. I-”
“Sh,” Steve cut his boyfriend off. “I need you to breath for me. Can you do that for me?” Bucky hesitated but shook his head. The blonde sprang into action. He brought Bucky to the ground and sat with his back against the wall and Bucky between his legs. With Bucky’s back flushed against his front, he wrapped his arms around him. Steve started to breath, in for 5 and out for 5. Repeat. Repeat, until he felt Bucky’s breathing calm down.
Physical touch was usually never the answer to ground Bucky, especially after a nightmare. Steve learned the hard way when Bucky grabbed him by his throat and wouldn’t let go. But there were expectations to the rule especially when he couldn’t regulate his breathing. Steve rested his head on Bucky’s shoulder. He waited for Bucky to gather his thoughts. “Lately, I’ve found myself starring at her,” he began. “It was my body remembered her but my mind refused to.” Steve hummed, indicating that he was listening. “I almost killed her.” His voice shook.
“You and I both know that wasn’t you,” Steve said. Bucky turned around to face him.
“You don’t understand. When she said they held her down in that tub that was me. God Steve she’s just a kid.”
“And you were tortured and held against your will with no choice but to do those things,” Steve countered. He cupped his boyfriend’s cheeks, drawing circles with his thumb. “Do you blame her for what she did to you?”
“No..” Bucky whispered.
“Then I wish you’d offer yourself the same level of forgiveness,” Steve whipped away tears that fell from his blue eyes. “I can not fathom the guilt you carry, baby, and the path to moving forward is long and messy but you have to remember what you did for them wasn’t your choice. You were trapped,” Steve bit his lip before he could say it was partly on him that HYDRA got to Bucky but this wasn’t about him and Bucky didn’t need to hear about his guilt.
“I don’t know how I’m going to be able to face her.” Steve sighed, dropping his hands.
“I don’t think she blames you, Buck. But if you need time to process everything I’m sure she’ll give you that.” Bucky nodded, chuckling softly.
“What would I do without you, punk,” Steve smiled, kissing his forehead.
“Do you want to go back down or head to bed?” He had a feeling what he would chose but wanted to give him the option.
“Bed,” Steve chuckled, stood up, and pulled his boyfriend to his feet. He kept his hand tightly in his. Sam was right, the tower seemed to attract HYDRA’s puppets. He believed it was because everyone in the tower could help heal them.

You were fighting to keep your eyes opened as you rested on Kate’s lap with a movie playing. It was a Scooby-Doo movie but you were lost on the plot with sleep clouding your mind. Also, Kate running her fingers trough your hair wasn’t helping. But you were scared to fall asleep. You worried what monsters your mind would create. You were powerless to fight it and fell asleep.
*
On either side of you was a guard as you walked down the familiar hallways. They were armed with assault rifles and military armor with orders to shot on sight if you tried to escape. You weren’t going to escape. Every bone in your body hurt. There was a dark hole growing over your hear; accepting your fate here. They opened a door and pushed you in, not entering with you. Inside was a man, long brown hair and blue eyes. He was strapped to a chair, unable to move and no light in his eyes. The most striking part of his appearance was his one metal arm. “Hi little spark,” he stepped out of the corner. “Come here,” you took a few steps and took his out stretched hand. “This man right is very important to us. You can call him Winter.”
“Winter,” you said slowly but the man didn’t move.
“But even though he’s important to us doesn’t mean he’s free from punishment. Just like you.” you moved you behind Winter where there was a wooden box. “Up you get,” As you stood on the box, he let go of your hand. “Punish him.” He told you. You had a feeling what he wanted you to do but you couldn’t. Maybe he was mistaken. This man could die. Before you could protest, he grabbed your hands and put them on either side of his head. “I won’t ask again.” You nodded, licking your lips and focused your energy to your hands. It was a small electrical discharge, Winter didn’t make a sound. “Stronger,” you obeyed and this time Winter made a small noise. It was no where near your full strength and knew it. He grabbed on your hair and pushed you against the wall.
“Stop wasting my time,” he put his forearm against your throat. It was hard to get air into your lungs. “I will have him kill you, do you understand?” Kill me, you wanted to screamed, I want to die. You wanted this to be over.
“Yes papa,” you whispered and he released you. You sucked in some much needed air and stepped back on top of the box. Placing your hands on the side of his head, you let out a shaky breath. “I’m sorry,” you mumbled and released the electricity. He fought it and you were impressed by that. Soon he couldn’t fight it and he screamed. He screamed and screamed and screamed.
*
You jerked away and fell onto the floor with a thud. “Jesus Christ,” Kate said. The movie paused. “Are you okay?” You scrambled to your feet, starring at your friends and heart pounding.
“Yeah,” you said, licking your lips. “Yeah, I’m great.” You chuckled. “Sorry, didn’t mean to startle everyone.” You felt your hands shake and you placed them behind your back out of view. But Yelena saw. The Black Widow stood up and took your hands in hers. You tensed at the contact, you didn’t want to hurt her.
“A nightmare?” She questioned, sitting you back down on the couch. You nodded. “Do you want to talk about it?” You shook your head. “Okay, then we can sit here until you are okay.”
“I’m fine,” you didn’t believe the lie you told your friends.
“Your shaking,” America whispered. You weren’t even aware you were.
“Oh,” you spoke softly.
“It’s okay, bud. We’ll sit here and watch the movie until you feel better.” You nodded as America continued the movie. As the movie played, the visual affects and funny dialogue helped your body relax. But in the back of your mind, all you felt was fear.
When your body stopped shaking, you excused yourself to your room. You took a cold shower to wash away the dream and changed into a long sleeve shirt and sleep shorts. But you knew you weren’t going back to sleep. So you sat on your bed with a book in your hands. It was going to be a long night.

Hopeclan references! and some little tidbits of info too!
Character descriptions below!
Shellstar is the leader of Hopeclan, having been granted 9 lives 25-ish moons ago. He's more quiet and observant, calculative, but is also regarded as the smartest cat in the clan. He was raised by a single father who was regarded as one of the greatest warriors in the clans, and even though he was busy with his duties, he never hesitated to cast them aside for his son. Now Shellstar feels it is his duty to repay his debt to his dad by taking care of his clan, and often does individual check-ins with his clanmates.
Ospreypounce is Hopeclan's trusted deputy. She's regal, graceful, but also expressive, sharp, and dutiful. She takes pride in her responsibilities and commitment. She's always busy, and tries to be on every patrol at once, even though it's nearly impossible. She's also larger than every cat in the clan, with Rookgrass in close second, Shellstar in third, even though pretty soon that spot will be taken up by Charpaw. However, this means she gets worn down in the summer, with her large size and thick coat, it's hard to stay cool, and she often is confined to camp by Shellstar and Rimestripe, lest she gets heat exhaustion.
Rimestripe is Hopeclan's sole medicine cat. He presence is seen as calming to any cat within the clan, his presence being a symbol of safety and health. However, he is also equally as fierce as he is protective. Before he became a medicine cat, Rimestripe was a warrior. However, a life threatening injury changed his mindset, leading to his shift in occupation. Over time, he developed a strong connection with Starclan. Despite this, he would not hesitate to launch himself into battle if it meant protecting a clanmate.
Mossyleaf is Hopeclan's oldest warrior as of recent. He's more standoffish than the rest of the clan, and is seen as a little.. off. However, they are also adventurous and multi-talented, excelling in swimming, climbing, building, and mediating. A tom of many faces is for certain, but their many talents has led Mossyleaf to be a great asset to the clan.
Goldendawn is the most hyper cat you will meet in Hopeclan. Despite this, not much is actually known about Goldendawn himself. A loner dropped him off at the clan when they were passing through, just after he was weaned. Goldendawn doesn't open up easily, and often doesn't speak of his inner thoughts and emotions. Despite this, he always does his best to hear out his clanmates and cheer them up with his playful demeanor, and always seem to know when someone is feeling down, even sometimes before they know it themselves.
Rookgrass is especially quiet, solemn, more so than Shellstar or Mossyleaf combined. However, the clan sees this silence as Rookgrass's way of calming himself. When he was a 'kot and 'paw, he would complain of headaches from talking too much, with too many thoughts. Throughout his apprenticeship, his intelligence was exposed, meanwhile his demeanor became much more calmer, until he settled into a nice and comfortable silence. Rookgrass is also Ospreypounce's son.
Charpaw is Rookgrass's son, Ospreypounce's grandson, and is the oldest apprentice of Hopeclan. He is training under Shellstar, who is a nice balance to Charpaw's snarky and outgoing demeanor. However, despite Charpaw being very outspoken and seeming to jump into every possible chance he could find to make trouble, Charpaw is actually very responsible. It seems part of his dad's quick-witted intelligence filtered down to Charpaw, leaving him to be fairly speedy in his decision making. His clanmates sometimes describe it as clairvoyance, always seeming to know immediately what choices he'll make.
Whimsypaw is the clan's second and youngest apprentice. She is highly imaginative and creative, often making up stories for her clanmates, mainly Charpaw. Additionally, she is also a troublemaker, but her laid-back and tranquil attitude lead to Charpaw taking the lead in the pranks she proposed.
Tinykit is the youngest member of Hopeclan, having only just been brought in by Mossyleaf, his father. Despite his short time in the clan, he has come to be realized as a great builder in the making, often pointing out areas that need matching in the camp walls. He also has a very strong moral compass, and refuses to lie.

“Women's efforts to provide for their younger sons and daughters often brought them into conflict with their oldest sons. As heirs, eldest sons frequently resented provisions for their siblings that reduced or burdened their inheritances. Mothers' efforts to provide for their younger children were particularly threatening to their eldest sons when they were heiresses and had power to dispose of their own property, but men's provisions for their widows also caused trouble between women and their sons. Indeed, husbands' provisions for their widows usually represented a much heavier burden on the family's estates than their bequests to their younger children. Furthermore, widows' dowers and jointures often interfered with the heir's power over his inheritance for years... Disputes about the provision for widows and women's efforts to secure the welfare of their daughters and younger sons often became intertwined when women served as their husbands' executors.
All of these factors played a part in the bitter quarrel between Cecily, dowager marchioness of Dorset, and her eldest son Thomas, the second marquess. In 1504, Lady Cecily, who was her father, William Lord Bonville's, sole heir and the executor of her husband's estate, announced her intention of marrying Lord Henry Stafford,  the duke of Buckingham's younger brother. Stafford, who paid 2,000 to Henry VII for permission to marry her, obviously expected the match to be a profitable one. The young marquess was understandably concerned about the effect the marriage would have on his inheritance, given the legal rights his mother's new husband would acquire over her and her property. The dispute escalated until Henry VII intervened. The settlement they signed after appearing before the king's council permitted Cecily to continue as her first husband's executor despite her remarriage. Under the terms of his will, she would receive the income from the estates he wanted set aside to pay his debts. However, she would not receive her dower until the debts were paid and she had turned the property over to her son. In addition, the council severely limited Cecily's power to dispose of her own inheritance: after her death, she had to bequeath all of it to Thomas; until then she could grant only lands worth up to 1,000 marks a year, and then only for a limited period of years. The obvious intention was to prevent the marchioness from permanently endowing her new husband at the expense of her eldest son. Her rights as an heiress were severely limited in his favor and, in a larger sense, in favor of the institution of primogeniture.
By 1522, Lady Cecily and her son were openly feuding once again, this time about provision for her younger children. As a result of Cardinal Wolsey's mediation, they signed another elaborate agreement. Each of them promised to contribute to the dowries of the marquess's four sisters, while in addition Cecily agreed to create annuities from her estates for three of her younger sons.”
