Presenting my FIRST furby custom!!! 🩷💛

Yet ANOTHER of my unnamed furbs 😅

This sweet baby came to me mute as your standard church mouse! I don't have the materials right now for speaker replacement, but I did have a desire to try some of these furby tutorials!

As you can see [they can't 🥴] they're missing eye chips! Those are still in transit and you can probably guess what they're going to look like! X3

This was a great learning experience! There's actually a heart and star on their eyelids, but I placed them too high and may have layered paint/glitter/mod podge too thick, as the eyelids don't seem to want to move on their own anymore 😅😂

I added the rhinestones when I realized the eye art I made wasn't going to be as visible as planned!

Regardless, I love this lil baby all the same!! Love how their colors turned out (pink and yellow are my personal faves 🥰) and hoping I figure out a fitting name sooner or later!

you know, traditionally dinosaur horror has leaned into dinosaurs as scary big reptiles, but i would love to see it lean into more avian aspects

also hilariously, i would love to see the protag panting and hiding behind something, thinking they escaped, and then some big ass dinosaur head pops around the corner and is like “WHAT YOU DOING” [bass boosted]

I have to admire how Belle decided to cheer the kid up (awawawawa, I forgot his name) by using her clown nose! I guess it just shows that she can be fun, but then we have her literally threatening to disassemble Tangle's bike! Belle sure can be both intimidating and caring!

Also, Tangle's expression in the last panel! Girl was so fucking amazed by Belle's clown nose! And I wonder, when did Tangle ride a bike? Anyways, it's also ironic how Belle was the first to meet Starline's kids.

Belle managed to give Starline enough data for all and shit. Surge and Kit, Starline's "kids" (in my opinion), started the fire there. Belle was the first to see them, but in silhouettes. Belle didn't start the fire. It was Surge and Kit who did it.

realised i was never actually gonna finish this custom up so i might as well put him back together. maybe someday ill do the touchups that ive been putting off for half a year but it wont be any time soon!!

i  know  it's  established  ren  has  a  high  pain  tolerance,  but  i  think  the  fact  he's  only  displayed  a real response to  being  hurt  THREE  TIMES  during  the  course  of  this  entire  blog  really  puts  it  into  perspective.

loving a story that's a tragedy at its core is so heart wrenching. even though I can pull the story apart and admire each beautifully made piece without thinking about its end, and even though there is beauty in the tragedy, and even though it's fiction and you can imagine a version of the story that ends happily... when you love it, you know it well enough to see how, when you reassemble the story, when you fit the characters and all their flaws and humanity back into their circumstantial casing, the sorrow is inevitable. to change the end is to change the story itself.

Anyway I am sorry for all the screaming my life has just been something of a mess for the past uhhhh 3 years or so now so I'm kind of at the end of a lot of ropes while also being excited that things are due to be changing for the better on one front while another is looking shaky but potentially improving (either that or everything goes horribly wrong and I will be unemployed) and it's all very stressful and I am ever so tired

It's so fun cause omg the horror and guilt the addisons feel not only because they didn't realize these were pieces of their friend but also realizing that abandoning him and ignoring the sketchiness of the caller in the first place allowed this to happen. Like if they were more concerned than jealous they could've pointed out red flags even though Spam was probably already in too deep.

I like endings that are messed up or twist on characters' desires. I can imagine the ads just saying they just wanted him back or wish they had a piece of him as a memento and the omnipresent messenger gives them exactly what they asked for. It's like a genie's wish or something that causes a finger on the monkey's paw to curl.
