Eve Moneypenny Day

A few headcanons for our favourite BAMF!PA

Eve's path to the SIS came first as a police officer. She joined the Met straight out of school and was immediately directed to their Officer Fasttrack Programme. By 22 she had a degree in Criminology, had completed the advanced evasive driving skills courses and was a DC with the armed protection unit.

It was on an inter-agency mission between The Met, MI5 and MI6 that Moneypenny first came to the attention of M as she drove backwards at 90 miles per hour on the M25 to block in the suspected suicide bomber on their way to central London.

M personally mentored Moneypenny. She saw a lot of her younger self in the Agent.

Eve didn't mins shooting Bond too much. The hours they had spent together flying to Turkey had revealed just how much he could drink and how difficult he found being told 'no' to his sexual advances.

She flew to Cancun at Q's request. Bond wouldn't have been the first Agent to suddenly reappear, only to have joined forces with the other side. She also wanted to get the shagging out of the way so they could work together properly. She thoroughly checked Bond's room and clothing as he slept afterwards.

It was Tanner that persuaded her to leave the field and become Malloy's 'PA'.

Tanner and Moneypenny have a curry together once a month. They basically run the SIS between them and allow themselves two hours each month to gossip and complain about everyone.

She slips away quietly to marry her partner just before being made M. Tanner and Q act as witnesses and she makes Bond be her Bridesman. He is surprisingly good at the job.

I have some news that I have recently heard from Japanese people, saying that ZZT manga will be ending the next week. Not only that, but according to chapter 59, it seems that Rei will quit part-time job in Poirot forever, and he no longer lives as Amuro, then this identity will disappear forever.. in addition this was also hinted in M25 (I've watched the movie by the way)🙄🙄

I guess there is some connection between spin-off manga and the original manga.. which means we won't see the face Amuro Tooru, but only Furuya Rei as well as Bourbon. But the issue here is why he wants to quit Poirot job at this time specifically?? is it a dangerous situation??!! I was wondering about this until I heard from Japanese also that RUM capturing operation will start soon. So, we might see a confrontation b/w PSB VS BO !! Also, there is a possibility of Conan involvement.. Beyond that I want to see Wakita what will be his plans and what he did set up!! Either way, it will be the best series in DC history🔥

So, yes I can confirm that the last chapter for Zero's Tea Time is Chapter 60. I think the chapters were finished by 25th May 2022 and all chapters of the remaining volume will be released by 17th June 2022.

This is the last page of the chapter and Takahiro Arai's message is:

As for Movie 25, I haven't gotten the chance to watch it, so I'm going to have to take your word for it😅

But if it's true, I'd say it's very likely that Amuro will quit Poirot. I mean I think it's redundant for him to stay for this long. And for no reason. If anything he's risking a lot by being at such a close proximity to RUM who is undercover in the sushi shop next door.

Also about time he gets a character development outside of Poirot. I want new developments surrounding him and the BO, answers about his 'alliance' with Akai and Yusaku, and his future meeting with Haibara. There's so much potential for his plot development outside of 'Poirot'.

Speaking of the 'alliance or tea party' with Yusaku and Akai, I have a feeling that him quitting Poirot could be related to it. Or maybe Rei figured out the sushi guy is RUM 👀 Who knows??

Anywho, yeah I'm all for him quitting Poirot and developing other aspects of his character. I miss the dark, broody, mysterious, powerful Furuya Rei.

I saw your tags on the DC movies are overrated post and I had the same thoughts about m25. I was excited when I saw Sato and Takagi because I love them on the poster thing but then the PV was all Amuro 😒 I’m sick of it tbh (and I say this as someone who generally enjoys the movies although I agree with you the later ones are definitely more forgettable than the early movies)

Sometimes I see the latest promos and I wonder if I dreamed early-era Conan and my undying love for it because now I just,,, feel nothing. And this scares me because I'm certain I will disappoint my young Conan-obssessed self for not staying through come main main plot because by then I may have long lost interest. I will be what, thirty or forty with a career and family. All of us are not getting any younger, even gosho. That, or I will be severely underwhelmed because my expectations won’t be met, even when I already set it lower than before.

Maybe this is what you call falling out of love with your longest hyperfixation. Siiighhhhh

I've reached chapter 1018 of Detective Conan!

Okay so, I've only been back to the fandom since a few weeks ago. I haven't read the manga since 2018 at least, but I usually have a KID relapse(?)ーalong with brief kaishin obsession, usuallyーevery few months or so. When that happen I usually just binged old fanfic/dj or only look for his chapter, so that's what I did. Well apparently this time my DC obsession decided to come back full force so I finally started to pick up the manga again lol. My country released official translation tho and that's how I usually keep up with the manga. Anyway, I purchased vol. 96 yesterday and I reached this chapter!! Since I like it a lot I'm gonna make a post about it because I need to ramble somewhere ahahah

Right away, the main reason why I like it; it's a KID chapter!! Hahahah apparently I somehow skipped this one during my KID binge and jumped straight into the one with Vermouth posing as KID, so this is a nice surprise. I'll never turn down any KID chapter 💙

Also, uh.... Conan, you really didn't try at all noawadays, huh. Well, after 20 years going unnoticed I suppose it's a given lol. That's why Sera keeps breathing down your neck lmao X'D

Next; this one panel! First time reading it I nearly choked on my drink, because that's a M3 reference, right??? Well, unless I somehow missed another manga chapter with him prancing on another tower lol. Kazuha did say rumours tho, but my country's version didn't translate the rumour part so I was a bit taken aback while searching for ENG chapter to put on this post. I crosschecked with the RAW tho and she did say 「噂」 (rumour) so I guess the ENG one is more accurate, but this kind of easter eggs still make me happy bcs I'm one of the "movie is canon" group hahah

And then this one!!!! I immediately checked with the RAW and he really said 「高校生探偵２人に」 so no doubt here!!! It's nice to have little confirmation of things like this in canon. I mean, with how Kaito operate as KID he'll obviously do reserach on everyone who stand on his way and with his intelligence, it's a given that he's gonna figure out about Conan's identity but an actual confirmation is always welcomed ;) and couple this with the fact that Conan already partly figured out KID's MO!! Ahhhh this make me so happy ❤

Still hoping that if one day Gosho continued MK he'll have Conan showing up as cameo and maybe we can see his deduction process lol it'll be fun

And then, my absolute favorite part; the Conan-KID interaction! His unimpressed stare to KID's disguise is just so hilarious ahzjjsjakak I love it so much

And we end the heist with Kaito being his usual cocky-but-a-sweetheart self 💙

And now... to the plot stuff! This is my official first meeting with this police gang. Since my return to this fandom I've seen a lot of people talk about this group and I honestly have no idea who the hell they are ajzjkakak. I obviously know Zero, since I already caught up to the fact that he's Bourbon and so I already skimmed his wiki when I first got back, and I remember Matsuda because that case was one of my favorite. I have no idea who the hell the others are tho, but now that I've finally meet them and caught up with the whole Rye-Bourbon-Scotch conflict I finally have context for all the hype ahahah XD

Also this is quite a big reveal, huh. Gosho really love make everyone related in some way or another and tbh I still don't know how to feel about that ajzjzkak but this one is more plot related so this one's good. Also since I finally started to understand the appeal of this police group, guess I'm gonna be kinda hyped for M25 after all!

Oh my god??? I just found this on AO3 and I’m sorry, I tried to find an existing tumblr link or the author’s blog so I could reblog it from there, but my googlefu isn’t strong enough. This is fucking hilarious, and I know at least a couple of people in my vague orbit who will surely appreciate the punishing dunking on Washington DC handed out by this fic. We’re talking, ‘if this fic were to literally as well as figuratively piss all over Washington DC, here is the angle from which it would deliver the most thorough soaking’ etc. Here are some highlights:

Gift ideas for a struggling friend (m25)

My friend (m25) is in a very dark place right now. He is a nurse and has been dealing with the pandemic and I believe some family matters along with everyday stress. He had a breakdown at work, is now on hiatus from work, and having multiple daily panic attacks.

I would like to get him a gift basket and I know of a few other friends looking to do something similar.

He likes anime and movies, especially geeky franchises such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, DC, etc. He also enjoys gaming. He has a massive game library but I know he especially likes Minecraft, Pokémon, Legend of Zelda, and Smash. He likes food and drink, particularly Japanese food like sushi and ramen, and as to drink I know he likes beer, whiskey, and sake a lot but I've never seen him drink something he didn't like lol. He has about every gaming console imaginable and his PC build is extensive. He has a cat and a very nice car. He does not like to cook. As a nurse, he likes medical or anatomy type gifts (I have given him coasters depicting the skull, the lungs, etc., and I wanted to get him an anatomically correct plushie of a heart but it is currently unavailable.) His favorite color is purple.

He doesn't like talking about his problems, so the fact he told me about his current situation is huge. I want to give him things that are useful OR that will just remind him of how loved he is, without drawing too much attention to the fact that he's having a hard time (no books about anxiety or anything like that).
