Question from chat: “Hi Jeff and Mike, when will Dragon Age 4 be shown and released?” Jeff: “Yeah, I mean, I expect it will probably pop up this summer. I don’t know when it’ll be shown is the real answer, that’s the, let’s get that out, I don’t know when it will be shown. I assume it will be shown sometime this summer. Could happen at any time though. It will be released this year [2024], last I heard. That is, and they’re pretty confident about that, doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee, could slip, but right now, internally, they expect to release it later this year, which is why I took it in Fantasy Critic”.

SOME NOT WELL THOUGHT OUT STORY CONTEXT: Zim and Dib encounter a Time Machine while hanging out in professor membranes lab basement. They dare each other to travel back in time for funzies! Dib set the date and joins in with Zim, suddenly weird noises come from the machine which spooked Dib a bit but before they could’ve questioned it, they got transported and all of the sudden they were falling in the sky down a futuristic city. Zim stayed shocked for a second and then reacted fast in capturing Dib and getting them somewhat of a "safe landing". The impact sprained some of Dibs joints but was fine. Turns out they flung themselves forwards in time, now they’re both hella lost with no contact or idea how life in 2997. They’re cooked

in general i roll my eyes at people who complain about all the new quality of life improvements in modern pokémon games bc inconvenience and genuine challenge are two very different things. but the one thing i would definitely agree on that i don’t like in sv is the ability to access your pc boxes any time. it sort of cheapens the experience of having to carefully choose which six pokémon you’re taking before venturing into unknown danger. like i don’t think you should be able to catch a pokémon in the depths of area zero and immediately put it in your party i think you gotta be loyal to whoever you took initially. it’s about being forced to have a plan for all outcomes

#like you can switch your pokémon in the middle of the elite 4… be so real #personally i never did in either of those situations #sv being the first game i played (that had a pokémon league i mean) i didn’t know about the whole type specialist thing #not that i would’ve been able to tell what type those ppl were anyway #but in any case i was like well might as well just stick with my same loyal 6 right #pokémon #sv #in a similar vein i’m kinda unsure about how i feel about being able to remember moves anytime #i think if i could change it i would make it so that you could freely swap moves *at any pokémon center*#like remembering new moves is free but only at certain locations #although one could argue that’s just introducing slight inconvenience without making it more difficult #bc you can fast travel to those places any time #but i guess it would hit you in like area zero #idk #maybe i’d make it so you can do it on the go anytime but it does cost something #but instead of rare difficult (or just plain annoying) once per day items like heart scales #have it be either plain old cash or like. some significantly easier item #idk. the convenience is super nice on that one. but it is kinda weird that it would be so easy to get your pokémon to get its moves back

Against his better judgement, he goes back in time, though he isn't sure if things will turn out the way he expected. Kay's comments: Oh, I really liked this short time-travel story! Sizhui travels back in time because he wants Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian to live a happier life, because they deserve only the best. It's got a bit of an open ending that I actually really enjoyed and I loved the subtle changes Sizhui made. Excerpt: He followed his baba silently as he roamed, doing his best to stay out of sight, but eventually, he was caught. He lost sight of Wei Ying and suddenly he was backed against a tree. "Who are you and why do you keep following me?!" Sizhui threw his hands up, "I swear! I mean no harm!" "If you mean no harm, than I expect you to tell me who you are and what you want." "My name is... my name is Lan Sizhui. Birth name... Wen Yuan." "...what?" He looked at him in confusion. With an unsure expression, Sizhui explained everything to Wei Wuxian, unsure if he'd believe him or not.

How has solo travelling in another continent been so far ? I’ve never been out of North America, and I’ve never travelled alone, but I really want tooo!

i love it!!! ive done it quite a bit now haha. you should definitely do it 💢💢💢 Ultimately the toughest part is you have to figure out what you want out of it because You Are All You Have. for example you might wanna do the hostel or backpacking thing. i know many people who like doing that… meeting new people all the time being able to go all over the place without too much pre planning etc… but i stayed in a hostel one time and hated it so fucking bad bro. i will spend sooo much more money on a nice plush quiet hotel. i want a vacation with a little luxury. i DONT like “adventure”. all i do is go on walks and go to museums and poke around and i like that. thats fulfilling to me. but if you choose that path be aware that you will not speak to another person who is not a waiter for days on end. you will need to learn to eat at restaurants all by yourself reading a book timidly. no one is going to tell you where to go so if you cant find interesting things to do then you’re gonna wallow. you will be jetlagged and have no one to complain to. Also the worst thing in the entire world is that no one will take pictures of you for your instagram. you wont have a postable cool girl candid to your name and it’s a real burden. But what can you do.

#i luv it but i am also very used to spending allllll my time alone #also my tip is dont stay anywhere more than 5-6 days tops because you will get bored of wherever you are #if you’re in europe especially it’s pretty easy to jet or train over to another city or country. dont do just one!#(<- stayed in rome for 8 full days once for some reason)#4 days is a good sweet spot imo. you can see all of a city in 4 or 5 days.#** i was a pretty well traveled child and first did a solo trip while i was in high school so i may be more easygoing abt it than most

the amount of math i put into figuring out my PTO is honestly so funny. i've probably spent like 2 hours this week and last week just playing with the leave calculator spreadsheet my coworker gave me. this morning i added a sheet for 2026 so now i'm calculating my PTO out that far. i basically already have a plan of how i'm taking time off for 2025 so as to maximize my time off in 2026. i dont think this is a normal level of attention to detail but at least i'm having fun

#(at my job i can accrue a certain amount of PTO that then becomes 'use or lose' because only so much carries over each year)#so by the mythical year 2026 i could in fact end up with 121 hours of use or lose by the end of it #aka i am Forced to take off 15 days (121 hrs) that year or it'll just be wiped #oh dear oh no! however could i manage to take 15 days off! <- DESPERATELY wants to be in this position as soon as possible #my issue is that i keep taking too much time off so i havent hit the maximum cap yet lmao #like if i just chilled out i could reach it next year #but chilling out is not in my vocabulary. i have places to go and people to see #therefore i cannot reach use or lose in 2025 BUT i can reach it in 2026....if i don't end up spending too much of what i accrue first #so i have vauge plans next year that havent solidified and i keep trying out stuff to see how many hours it would leave me with #historically my methods of maximizing time are:#1) work a flexible schedule with 9 hour days one pay period in order to get a day off for 'free' (this is how i'll get black friday off)#2) work over time and bank those hours as 'credit' time. i can have up to 24 hours/3 days worth of that stored #(i can easily do this long term by just like. working an extra hour every week and it'll add up lol)#3) receiving a time off award if management loves me enough (i normally get a free 8 hours award each year but i can't bet on this)#4) earning travel comp time by working overtime via work travel (such as your flight getting in at 8 pm or whatever)#5) earning normal comp time by attending a work event outside of normal hours (i.e. that time i worked on saturday)#these are all ways to get time off without dipping into PTO so that i can let the PTO accumulate #......as you can see i'm Very normal about this

I for one head canon that Martin started loosing weight during season four as the lonely got its grips on him, it’s a sort of physical sign of his loss of interest, how depression (or like- the lonely or whatever) has been affecting him.

Basically, the time travel au that lived solely in my head has like a whole bit dedicated to Martin seeing his younger self- how he looks younger, happier, healthier, etc.

#mmmm combating my poor self image #by making a point of having weight gain he be good #weight gain as a sign of regaining his sense of self #putting in effort to take care of himself #weight loss as a sign of apathy #loosing himself in more ways than one #loosing the motivation or even the desire to care #weight loss as a bad thing #this is healthy I think #actually- I think this is a genuinely healthy way to cope with my own issues #but idk #maybe one day I’ll write the fic #oh yeah #martin blackwood #I guess #out of all my posts #I don’t want this one to get many notes #this is a personal headcanon that I hold close to my heart #and also it’s been like a month or more since k listened to season 4 #and im afraid of being wrong #and my time travel au that lives solely inside my head #is incredibly self indulgent and full of author projected angst #so yeah

Jason sat there, hunched over his papers, tapping his pen against the pages as he tried to think. There had to be something he could say to little-him to convince him.

“What are you working on,” a voice said behind him, and Jason jumped sky high.

He dropped his pen, actually, he jumped so hard.

“Fuck, Bruce,” he cursed, “Don’t do that.” Everyone knew better than to sneak up on him.

Everyone.

Well. He’d never shot at this Bruce before, so he supposed he didn’t know yet.

“Sorry,” Bruce said quickly, holding both his hands up as he came around the table so he was beside Jason, “I didn’t mean to startle you.”

“Yeah, whatever,” Jason grumbled, as he pushed all his papers together and made them into a neat pile.

Bruce pulled the chair next to him out and sat down, then nodded toward Jason’s papers and asked, “What is that?”

“Oh, it’s just, you know… Notes. For little me.” Jason said, hesitantly. He didn’t really want Bruce to have anything to do with it.

But… Jason was the stupid one to work on it right where he could see.

“May I?” Bruce asked, hovering a hand over the stack of papers.
