How has solo travelling in another continent been so far ? I’ve never been out of North America, and I’ve never travelled alone, but I really want tooo!

i love it!!! ive done it quite a bit now haha. you should definitely do it 💢💢💢 Ultimately the toughest part is you have to figure out what you want out of it because You Are All You Have. for example you might wanna do the hostel or backpacking thing. i know many people who like doing that… meeting new people all the time being able to go all over the place without too much pre planning etc… but i stayed in a hostel one time and hated it so fucking bad bro. i will spend sooo much more money on a nice plush quiet hotel. i want a vacation with a little luxury. i DONT like “adventure”. all i do is go on walks and go to museums and poke around and i like that. thats fulfilling to me. but if you choose that path be aware that you will not speak to another person who is not a waiter for days on end. you will need to learn to eat at restaurants all by yourself reading a book timidly. no one is going to tell you where to go so if you cant find interesting things to do then you’re gonna wallow. you will be jetlagged and have no one to complain to. Also the worst thing in the entire world is that no one will take pictures of you for your instagram. you wont have a postable cool girl candid to your name and it’s a real burden. But what can you do.
