i always want to see david sowerbutts get more into his theatre kid side, so would like to see him auditioning for/getting screeched at by ollie. and then commiserating afterwards with pam doove

also he should bond with ronnie over their abusive dads / getting scapegoated by a parent for the accidental death of a family member / getting Sent Away and then struggling to cope when they came back / inadvertently disturbing people with their craft projects :T
