s/f was great!! thank you @silverview for taking time out of your day to meet up with me before & after the show, and for the lovely bracelets!!! ddd my beloved 🥹 and also for being first in the queue for the stage door!!!!

quick summary of the stage door experience:

so. i had scriptbook 3 with me and had it open and ready when people started coming out. in my mind i thought steve could sign ttp (bc he's amazing in it) & reece could sign curse of the ninth (bc it's his "new favourite"). and i had my fingers on both of those pages...

but then while chatting i heard steve say hello and suddenly they were both in front of me?? i panicked and ended up having them both sign on curse of the ninth because my brain stopped functioning???

and yet i felt like externally i held it together 😅😅 and steve said to me, "ah, curse of the ninth - good choice!" so it was alright in the end i think!!!

then we lurked for a bit and watched them go in to j sheekey 😬

in hindsight, i wish i got them both to sign ttp but not dwelling too much on this. the queue was long and i didn't want to hold things up!

ik the fandom has its feelings about simon says, but personally i love the fact that they wrote BOTH simon and spencer as utter dickheads and neither one of them are particularly likable at all

How many times did Steve and Reece kill each other really??

I found it funny how often Steve accused Reece of killing him in all their episodes while watching interviews a few years ago and so decided to collect the data on it myself!! As the show is now finished and I got around to adding the final season to my spreadsheet I figured I would share it! So here it is:

As you can see a Reece character murdered a Steve character 9 times throughout the show while Steve murdered Reece 6 times!! So while Reece does win it is by a small margin!

Also generally he committed more murders, killing 21 people to Steve's 12 whilst getting murdered 16 times opposed to Steve's count of 19!

Some bonus data I collected is that there are 91 deaths across the entire show (and 6 fake/not real ones, think nine lives kat or devil of christmas), 38 episodes have at least one on screen death, 5 episodes end with an implied death and only 12 episodes have no death at all!! (btw I’ve added the table that I got this data from in another reblog for people who may be interested!)

when len’s holding the celery michael’s like “is that a fucking leek”

len keeps getting good omens wrong and michael is losing it (“what the fuck is wrong with you???”) before len (steve) is like “i know!! i was in it!!!” sobbing

EDIT I FORGOT ABOUT THE FLAMENCO HE DID AN AMAZING JOB AND RANDOMLY CAME OUT WITH “HOWAY THE LADS” IN A GEORDIE ACCENT WHILE DANCING

and then as michael goes up the stairs he says “i have never been so humiliated… and i’ve worked with david tennant” PLEASE

michael then comes and SITS literally 2 rows in front of me in the stalls with anna for the second act 😭😭 he left as soon as the curtains came down at the end but u could hear him laughing at various points they were so cute!! i’m in love!!!

Inside No 9 - A Fanart Tribute ~

(55 digital painting studies based on the 55 episodes of the show!)

I really wanted this series to represent both the drama and humour of the show whilst also paying homage to the amazing aesthetic quality of each episode, so I really hope I achieved that!

(I framed them like this so they'd look like little film cells all joined together btw!)

Also thank you to everyone who suggested screenshots (I'm sorry if I didn't pick yours, it was probably because it would have been too hard for me to draw lol, but I did really appreciate all the help regardless!)

I think I am perpetually doomed to only get really into things when they're about to end or have already ended pfft, so I hope this in some way makes up for me being sorta late to the party!

Doing this series really did make me appreciate so much more about every episode, all the fabulous little details in every shot, you can really see all the effort and love that Reece & Steve (& everyone behind the scenes too) put into it which is just so lovely!!

Anyway I love this show a lot (as you can probably tell lol) and I had SO much fun painting these (even if they did take a long time to finish pfft)! <3
