i have an essay i need to do for uni. sometimes after spending too long on tumblr, i think, i could literally just go around pretending im gay? how problematic do you reckon that would be? but then i might be expected to actually kiss a guy, and id have to say i just dont find them attractive. except that would never happen cause no one would find me attractive in the first place, so i could probably get away with it. do you think id get a public callout video on tiktock? although i wwouldnt see it cause ive never used tiktock so someone would have to tell me. i could print it out and tape it to my cv. then the interviwer would ask why i did it and id say i was actually gay and in denial and it was an excuse, and theyd believe me but id be lying again. and theyd feel sorry for me so theyd offer me the job even though im shit at everything and id get a ticktock and post a video about it with a link saying donate here to kill puppies and kittens and so many people would donate that id become a billionaire and richer than elon musk and id offer a bounty to anyone who managed to get elon musk to make a tiktok where he cosplays as a 2010s tumblr user but id also secretly bribe him to eat mouldy anchovies every day and then someone would missread the post and catch him in a pitfall trap full of burning oil and fire eating poisonous snakes, except that this was actually what i intended all along, and the last visdeo he made before dying will go viral and people will be cutting bits out and selling it as the new edgy currency for rich weirdos but then ill post a video starting a conspiracy that he isnt actually dead and he came back as a shapeshifting flesheating zombie and he wants to eat your eyeballs. except he really is dead, but people dont know that, and it starts a mass panic where they buy hand sanitiser cause they believe it repells zombies except this isnt true either i also made it up in the bestselling book i wrote called Hand Sanitiser Repells Zombies and its actually about how to piss the largest amount of people off online by pretending to be gay but no one bothered to read it so they dont know that. and then i admit that im actually not gay and this starts online discourse so heated itt ends up on the streets, and then i post a video saying that actually i am gay, but no one believes me and this starts even more discourse that ends in nuclear war. and this triggers the zombie apocalypse and everyone dies except for me cause they all believe that hand sanitiser repells zombies. and then i sit in my room and reflect on the fact that i still havent done my essay and im still not gay. i make a video about it and post it on tiktock and it goes viral with the zombies. the zombies are all gay now, and they also all believe they live in an anime. they decide to cancel me as the only person in the world now who isnt gay, and then when i refuse to publicly apologise they tie me to a nuclear bomb and lauch me into space. just before i explode, i make a video explaining how i just realsed, life is an anime. and its the first thing i havent lyed about since i first pretended to be gay. then i explode. then the zombies decide to ressurrect elon musk and worship him as their messiah, but their cars all explode on the way to the airport so they decide to go with margaret thatcher instead. at this point, everyone is just wondering when it will end, and the answer is never.

About the Calendar Wheel

The image on this post is the calendar I made for 2025, based on my location in Boorloo (so-called Perth, Western Australia), on Wadjuk Noongar boodjar.

From the centre, outwards, you'll see:

The 6 Noongar seasons

The 8 seasonal festivals (I've used the common names for the cross-quarters, since I'll probably use this on my business socials)

The 12 months of the year

The 52-ish weeks of the year

The 365 days of the year

The new, full, and quarter moons for 2025

Depending where in the world you're from, you might also notice some things look a little different than you expect...

The wheel is arranged Southern Hemisphere sunwise. Because the sun skewing towards the equator at midday take it to the north, the sun's path over the course of each day appears to move counter-clockwise (because clocks were made based off northern hemisphere sundials).

The quarter-moon icons seem inverted, because we're viewing the moon from a different vantage point. Southern hemisphere moon phases look like:

Likewise some dates might seem a little off - Astrological events occur at the same instant, regardless of where in the world we are, but how we mark that instant on our calendar will depend on what timezone we're located in (and which side of midnight that timezone places us).

I'm located ~12hrs ahead of the Eastern United States, so a lot of the events above might be the date before for folks in earlier timezones (likewise for folks in Eastern Australia and New Zealand, a handful of events might be the date after if they're in the early a.m.)

I don't like how the birthdays from stardew valley are set up in the real world. Like most of December is in the fall according to the solstice but Sebastian's birthday is winter 10 and we've decided it's December 10th.

Nah, let's give all the characters accurate birthdays in accordance with the seasons.

I'll set it up 2 ways:

1. Taking the earliest dates of each solstice and equinox that defines the seasons and dividing that by 28 (number of days in a stardew valley season) then multiplied that number by the NPC's bday (I'll explain the math later)

2. Taking the average amount of days in-between each IRL season and dividing that by 28

Earliest dates are as follows:

Spring March 19

Summer June 20

Autumn September 21

Winter December 20

The length of each season in this method is

91 days for spring

93 days for summer

90 days for fall

90 days for winter

The average days in between is 91.5 days.

Dividing by 28 we get

3.25 Spring

3.32142857 Summer

3.2142857 Autumn / Winter

3.267857142857143 Average

These numbers are the difference between our real world dates and stardew valley dates

Our season are about 90 days long, their's are 28 days so

1 day for stardew players is about 3 days for us.

Now that we have these numbers let's find out how each day correlates to each villager.

It will be in order of earliest birthday to latest and will follow this format

it appears you’ve been separated from your peers the second you enter the house of the wicked, green hands breaking through the wooden tiles - reaching for your ankles as a form of sabotage. you will be placed into groups in order to collaborate on content that represents your organization’s (ex. house of the hearth, stellaron hunters, ten stonehearts, etc.) experience inside of a haunted house.

do not spoil any part of your writing/art with any other groups.

if by chance there is an artist in an all writers group - the artist is tasked to create a non-colored sketch based on the 400 wc (or more) drabble.

if the group is all writers, the wc limit of your fic will be extended to 800. you can exceed this limit if you wish to.

if your group is all artists, you’re all required to collaborate on a colored art piece (does not require complicated detailing / background due to the timeframe + does not have to include every member of the organization your group is assigned, just 1!) as long as it sticks with the theme. you are not required to post these.

MURDER MYSTERY 🐺 ( OCT. 25 - 31 )

the finish stretch … you have entered a game of Werewolves which includes: a medic who can save the other players, the Werewolves who can kill the players, and the rest are bystanders who have to try and figure out who the Werewolves are. when ‘night’ falls, the players then all close their eyes and the Hostess asks the Werewolves who they want to kill. then, the doctor is asked who they want to save. the players all open their eyes as ‘day’ breaks, and the Hostess announces whether someone died that night. If the Werewolves kills the same person as the doctor saved, they live, otherwise they die. the players then discuss who they think the Werewolves are and vote to lynch someone. It then repeats until the Werewolves are the only ones left, or are killed.

you are NOT allowed to expose your role, werewolves can pretend to be citizens and even vice versa to throw bystanders off.

the number of rounds played will extend until the date reaches October 31st.

My Opinions:

They could be sprinkling all these Single SSRs all over the place and totally catch us up on reruns. In fact it would make way more sense as it would force new players or people who didn't finish into a bind of spending or skipping. I just literally don't understand from a business standpoint why they'd just NOT rerun them. This ain't even a 2 reruns waiting for the special return pavilion situation. They haven't even gotten that far. Anyway it's frustrating me because I'm missing pieces from 5/8 of the singles from that year and I want to finish them 🙃 I'm so close on most of them.

ARCH ENEMY's 2024 European co-headline tour, "Rising From The North", with IN FLAMES, wrapped up on November 5 in Helsinki, Finland.

Issued in July 2024, the "Dream Stealer" single marked ARCH ENEMY's first new music since the release of the "Deceivers" album, which came out in August 2022.

"Dream Stealer" was mixed by Jens Bogren and mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios. The accompanying music video was directed and produced by Patric Ullaeus.

Three months ago, Amott told Pulp Magazine about "Dream Stealer" and ARCH ENEMY's plans for new music: "We've been staying busy for sure and are really focused on writing and recording new stuff in between the touring we're doing. I'm kind of always coming up with new musical and lyrical ideas though — I just keep going as it's what I enjoy doing anyway. Making music is a natural process, and it's pretty much a daily thing, so it can be hard to pinpoint exactly when everything was conceived. I do, however, actually remember that the initial seed for 'Dream Stealer' was written during a songwriting session I did with Daniel [Erlandsson, drums] in Los Angeles, California, two years ago, and then it's been rearranged and updated a lot till it reached its final state that you're now hearing."

Asked if it was a conscious decision to go back to the "classic ARCH ENEMY" direction and approach with "Dream Stealer", Amott said: "I've seen some seriously great feedback from the fans, and that's always very encouraging, of course. Personally, I don't know if I’d necessarily say 'Dream Stealer' is a throwback to the sound of the past, but I get what they mean — the song has the energy and speed that is very exciting and infectious. Maybe there is a hint of vintage ARCH ENEMY in there, and why not? I'm looking forward to playing it live on stage — I think it is going to be intense as hell."

ARCH ENEMY played its first concert with new guitarist Joey Concepcion on April 24, 2024 at Musinsa Garage in Seoul, South Korea. The show was part of ARCH ENEMY's 2024 Asian tour.

Last December, ARCH ENEMY announced that it had "amicably" parted ways with longtime guitarist Jeff Loomis.

Jeff, who was the main songwriter in his previous group, NEVERMORE, joined ARCH ENEMY in late 2014, but was not involved in the writing for the latter act's last two albums, 2017's "Will To Power" and the aforementioned "Deceivers".
