Although, I don't think the dating thing would mater for her to recommend marriage. I also noticed that the farmer is not often shown actually EATING in front of people in cutscenes, just staring in front of it ... wonder why? 🤔

They canonically chug everything that's liquid in one go so do they just swallow food?

A lot of people think you eat the whole plate but I think it be funny if Mask eats the food and shatters the plate somewhere on the ground, boom! No dishes and no glass in your stomach! :D

Femm would swallow the food but would put the plates in her backpack to wash later.... like a "normal" person.

you absolutely cannot tell me that Vincent doesn't find Harvey cool.

Like, Vincent was kinda nervous to get his shots, and Harvey broke out an airplane model, and told him about it while Maru gave him a shot. Like "oh, this is SR-71, it's the fastest plane in the world right now." and Vincent is like "woah, really?"

"yeah, it covered 100,000 square miles in just 1 hour." and Vincent looses his mind and Harvey is like "you can take this one. I have several." and Vincent goes crazy and since then, when he's off work, Vincent will meet him in the little area behind his house and just hammer him with questions about planes. and Harvey is happy to answer them, and sometimes, Harvey takes him to his room (with Jas ofc, she's just not as interested) and shows him that he can talk to planes. and Vincent is just like. floored.

so yeah. they're besties, and if you say no you're lying.

Back on my Stardew Valley design train! This time, the kids!

Jas

Even though Jas is quiet and sweet, I also interpret her as a bit of a know-it-all. I like the idea of her being the responsible, slightly older kid who keeps the others out of trouble.

I ran into the same problem as everyone else, namely “what the hell is the situation with her Shane and Marnie?” I don’t want to get into my headcanon for it on this post, but I will say I made her look intentionally similar to Shane.

I think Vincent will end up taller than her once they’re grown, but she’ll be the tallest in group for a while

Vincent

Vincent is hyperactive to the point of near destruction. Seriously this boy cannot be inside for more than an hour without breaking something. As a result, he’s very outdoorsy, often coming home with scrapes and bruises. He’s often the mastermind of the gangs shenanigans.

He looks up to Sam a lot, his shirt is a hand-me-down that Vincent refuses to admit doesn’t fit yet. He asks Sam to spike his hair with gel every morning.

Leo

The newest member of the group, Leo still retains a few feral qualities that take Jas and Vincent some getting used to. He’s a mix of the two kids; around friends he’s wild and rambunctious like Vincent, but around strangers he’s quiet and pretty wary, and often goes to Jas for comfort. He sees Jas and Vincent as new members of his flock, and is very protective of them. They in turn are excited to have a new friend and to show him new things.

For his design I tried to make him a bit more wild, like he’s pieced his outfit together from island materials and has decked himself out with mud to have some sense of self expression. I intentionally made his hair and eyebrows super fluffy to resemble downy feathers.
