Luke shares a room with Riley in their friends' improvised hideout - the room has an improvised bunk bed, lots of pop culture posters, Riley's crayon drawings and plushies, some cheap string lights, and piles of worn-out but comfy pillows & blankets. August 17, 2024 Scottsdale AZ Dear little Mosey: ( Little Mo ) Although you are only 9 months old I thought I would write to let you know what I’m up to. I figured I’d do this because I may be too old to remember exactly why I did this or even what I did. I have found it’s helpful and more accurate if I write things down as I go. It may be interesting to know a little bit about what people were like in other parts of the world and what the world looks like from a bicycle.

I am 66 years old now and here is what I look like. As I get older I find that I become less willing to go on an adventure. This trip will hopefully keep me mentally and physically flexible. I have no solid plan

You are about 9 months old now and this is what you look like. It was you first Kayak trip. I have been traveling up to see you at your house in Rigby Idaho. One of the projects that your mom and dad and I are working on is restoring an 1870’s Stone Granary. Eventually we will restore the log cabin for the same thing. Both are near the 1928 farm house you grew up in. You are surrounded by wheat fields and the trumpeter swans spend their winters there.

This will provide a nice place for interesting people to stay. You will get to know people from all over the world who will stop by to have dinner and visit. Here is one of your first rides when you were about six months old. Your dad made you a rain poncho out of a grocery bag. I thought it was cool.

I am getting ready to go on a bike trip that retraces the route of Lt. Colonel Daryle Stuckey. He was my father in law and the father of Erika, your moms stepmother. That would make him your great step grandfather. He was a young man living on a farm near the the very small town of Upper Sandusky Ohio when WWII began. Wars are complicated and I’m not sure I understand them but he like many young men were called to fight for their country. He became a B-17 bomber pilot in WWII and was 2nd Lieutenant. He was about 21 years old and was the pilot of a crew of nine other men. His job was to fly missions to bomb a country we were at war with. Each journey to the other country was called a mission. They were very dangerous so they made a rule that if you made it to 25 you could go home. As the war went on they ran low on experienced pilots. So they changed the rule to 30 missions. He went down on his 28th mission and was captured by the Germans. Our enemies at the time. He became a prisoner of war POW.

I am going to retrace his last mission on my bike. The bikes name is Curiouser. I thought it was a good name. I’ll try to explain where it came from later.

Becoming an airman and pilot in WWII required that you pass many test. To be captain was even harder. I am going to end this letter for now but I will write again soon Love Morris ( Big Mo )

I think it's a very interesting different pacing. Also the way I promise it's the last time was meant to end the record with a spoken outro by DARYL PALUMBO where the character kills himself? we need the revenge out takes someday.

before getting into ur initial question, i would really really really (pretty please?) love revenge demos for its 20th birthday. and bury me studio or live release... im living in fantasy world considering what reprise did for bullets20 🤦‍♀️

anyhow, this is an interesting thing to think about. i dont really care for the 1000 evil men story. im also really bad at imagining alternatives to finished products. but i love the thematic narrative of three cheers. talked about the significance of helena as opener here. to the end as opener is actually really fun in setting up a gothic setting for the album -- the first line setting place ("he calls the mansion-") rather than time ("long ago-"). the 1-2-3 punch of helena -> fashion -> not okay is very good. esp if not okay was at some point more macabre. but you miss on the circulatory of never told you with both demo lovers and helena! "im trying" into "i tried" -- and "we'll meet again when both our car collide" into "can i meet you alone".

but actually ive been thinking about the motif of photographs in not okay, never told you, and to the end. "photographs your boyfriend took", "the photograph that i gave you" and "she keeps a picture of the body she lends" -- so there's a narrative link here... that i dont know the significance of lol.... something about fame and body image and trust. big theme in three cheers. kind of like "we'll meet again", though it isnt very macabre, gothic, or begrieved.

tbh maybe reprise shouldve stepped in to throw out morris in hang em high too. he distracts meeee... idk if spoken word fits into an album so quick and killer. wouldve had to be really good. cant find a source of the spoken work being a suicide, but i know that gerard only came up with the "suicide ending" after the album was released

Request: Please write a story about reader exposing her magic to save Daryll and that is how he finds out about the magical world. Reader is a friend of the Halliwell but she also has feelings for Daryll.

“So he helps you but he doesn’t know that you’re witches?” You asked as you looked at the Halliwells, they nodded and you shrugged “okay.” You had known the Halliwell sisters since you were little, your parents moved away when you were younger but you managed to keep in contact so when you moved back now that you were older, you were finally able to properly reconnect with them. They were telling you about all of the people that knew about them and the ones that helped them as well. They had just started talking about Darryl, a police officer that was leaving at the time that you had arrived. You briefly greeted him before he left to go back to the station.

“We’ve been able to hide it so far.” Phoebe nodded. “You’ve been lucky then.” You smiled, you knew how hard it was to keep the secret from people close to you, you’d been doing it since you were a teenager. “Very.” Piper nodded, “we need to be more careful around him.” “Noted.” You nodded. “Well enough about that boring stuff, let’s go get food, you can see Piper’s bar too.” Phoebe said as she linked arms with you. “You have a bar?” You asked. “Yeah, I’ve got to head down there to open up soon, so you guys go for dinner and I’ll meet you at the bar afterwards.” She suggested and you nodded. “Fine but then we’ll have to get breakfast sometime.” You informed her and she nodded. “Sure.” She confirmed.

You had been there for a couple of months when you ended up out one night, you don’t know what Darryl was doing out so late but you noticed that there was a demon following him, you tried to get to him before it could do anything but you realised that the only way you could save him was to use your powers, the only thing that stopped you was that he would be able to see you. “(Y/N) get away from here!” He ordered waving you away, the demon turned to you and you knew that there was no other option, you lifted you hand allowing your powers to take care of the demon in front of you. “W-what?” Darryl walked over to you and looked over your face and body “are you okay?” “Yeah I’m fine.” You nodded and he looked at you and then the space where the demon had been. “What was that? What happened to it?” He asked. “It was a demon and I got rid of it.” You answered, you couldn’t bring yourself to say that you killed it, not when he didn’t understand the world that you lived in. “You got rid of it?” He asked. “I… You have to promise to hear me out.” You said and he nodded waiting for you to talk, you hesitated for a moment before continuing to explain everything to him, you left out the part about the Halliwells being witches too, that was for them to tell. “Are you messing with me?” He asked. “Why would I be messing with you? You asked. “You saw what I just did, you saw it but in case you need another example.” You opened your palm to show the small flame that appeared in your hand. “You really meant that?” He asked. “Look you don’t have to talk to me right now, I’ll give you some time but if you still want to be friends then you know where I live.” You said, you turned and walked away and honestly it worried you that he didn’t stop you but you knew that you needed to give him time. You hoped that you hadn’t ruined everything without at least telling him how you felt about him.

You went straight to the Halliwell household to tell them what happened “So you told him everything?” Phoebe asked. “I told him everything about me.” You answered “he doesn’t know anything about you.” “How did he take it?” Piper asked. “He didn’t run screaming.” You shrugged “other than that, there wasn’t really a reaction.” “Oh honey we’re sorry.” They each hugged you as Phoebe took your hand. “Stay here tonight, at least if that demon comes looking for you, we’ll be here too.” You knew that she just wanted you to stay because you were sad but you didn’t have it in your to fight so you let her lead you to your room for the night.

Jinkx Monsoon is among the newly announced cast members for Broadway‘s upcoming and reimagined Pirates of Penzance production starring the previously announced Ramin Karimloo and David Hyde Pierce.

Retitled Pirates! The Penzance Musical, Rupert Holmes’ jazzy New Orleans-style reinterpretation of the Gilbert & Sullivan classic is being staged by the Roundabout Theatre Company with previews beginning Friday, April 4, 2025, at Roundabout’s Todd Haimes Theatre. The official opening night is set for Thursday, April 24, and the limited engagement will run through June 22.

Monsoon, who will play Ruth to Karimloo’s Pirate King and Pierce’s Gilbert/Major General Stanley, is a two-time RuPaul’s Drag Race winner, and made her Broadway debut in 2023 as Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago. In 2024, she played Audrey in the Off Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors opposite Corbin Bleu. Other credits include a Doctor Who debut as the new villain Maestro.

Scott Ellis will direct, with a creative team to include scene design by David Rockwell, costume design by Linda Cho, lighting design by Donald Holder, sound design by Mikaal Sulaiman, and dance arrangements by John O���Neill. Orchestrations will be by Joseph Joubert and Daryl Waters, music direction by Joseph Joubert and choreography by Warren Carlyle.

“We want everyone to know that what you’re going to see is a musical that celebrates the genius of Gilbert & Sullivan while taking some joyous liberties,” Ellis said in a statement. “The Pirates of Penzance actually premiered in several U.S. cities, including New Orleans, which was a big center for piracy. So, since our pirates have now landed in New Orleans, we’re adapting the title to be both familiar and fresh.”

In addition to Monsoon, the cast additions announced today include Nicholas Barasch (Riverdale), Preston Truman Boyd (Broadway’s The Play That Goes Wrong), and Samantha Williams (Broadway’s Caroline, Or Change).

The Pirates! cast also includes Kelly Belarmino, Maria Briggs, Eddie Cooper, Cicily Daniels, Ninako Donville, Alex Dorf, Rick Faugno, Niani Feelings, Tommy Gedrich, Alex Gibson, Afra Hines, Dan Hoy, Ryo Kamibayashi, Tatiana Lofton, Nathan Lucrezio, Shina Ann Morris, Cooper Stanton, and Bronwyn Tarboton.

August 21, 2024 Naples Italy

Dear Little Mosey:

After a 8 1/2 flight I landed safely in Naples. Nice flight but no bike or clothes. They tell me it will be on same flight tomorrow.

Great practice for flexibility and acceptance. All of my stuff is in bike box with exception of light pack with shirt, this book and a map of Europe. The book would be interesting for you to read if you want to know what it was like to be on a WWII bomber crew.

Since I only brought the pants I have on this is no inconvenience at all. It gives me great practice for living simply, something I’ve been wanting to practice.

Here is what a packed up bike looks like.

Italy is a very nice country. Naples is one of the oldest continuously occupied cities in the world. It was an important hub for Greece. That means many important people passed through here. Many important ideas, works of art and inventions that still influence us came from here.

I like old things. Here, many of the streets in the old part of town are made of stones.

Found out there is nothing left of Airbase in Amendola Italy, base of 15th Air-force, 2nd bomb group that moved up from Africa. This is where your great grand stepfather was stationed.

I know you have a lot going on, like eating every few hours but I have found the book I mentioned. remarkable very valuable in understanding what my father in law went through. I've found myself weeping on several occasions. I think books have a lot to offer. They have really helped me find things out.

Because there is nothing left of the base or any buildings I'll skip up to Split Croatia. Assemble my bike and start riding north.

The last mission, for 2nd Lt Daryle Stuckey, as pilot in command would have taken them over that city on the way to oil refineries in Blechhammer Germany ( now in Poland ). I included a map before but here it is again. I figured that you can learn about history and geography at the same time. If you are interested in things it makes them easier to learn, at least, it’s that way with me.

I am sitting at a small cafe. And of course the waiters name is "Luigi". He doesn't speak a word of English which is perfect for me.

Beautiful start to a trip that was designed to keep me mentally and physically flexible.

On any trip, or life in general, it is very useful to get help from others. When people help me I feel like helping others. Helping and kindness are like a good disease that spreads. As it goes along and spreads people feel good instead of bad. It makes their life better rather than worse if you can receive or give help in the right way. Sometimes this can be tricky. I’ll try to spend more time on this as it may be helpful.

Here are some people that helped me get my bike ready. Crystal helped me check out the bike and Kaolin gave me a really nice box. He stopped every thing he was doing to help me. I feel lucky to have them as my friends.

Crystal owns Spur Cross Bicycles in Cave Creek

Kaolin owns Flat Tire bike shop in Cave Creek. Both are great bike mechanics but they also know about having your own small business.

I am still getting things organized so I will try to write more later as there are many others that helped me with this trip.

He is in a committed relationship with actress Tempestt Bledsoe, who co-starred in The Cosby Show.
