Orion only ever saw the best in D16, the good because he only showed the dark when Orion wasn't around.

If someone mocked Orion to D , the next day they'd show up with grave injuries if not dead.

Oh but if someone tried to hit on Orion....he saw red , Orion is his , he belonged to him, he was the one light down in this hell and nothing was going to take that away from him.

How many mining accidents had just been accidents , how many had looked up at the silver face in shadows and saw empty optics staring back as they were crushed.

The day Jazz was trapped, Orion wasn't supposed to be there, he'd almost encouraged him to go on one of his escapades....

D would have left him behind.

D16 only stayed because Orion did.

Uchiha Head-canons pt. 2

A non exhaustive list of my favorite mostly old Uchiha HC’s from back before the manga was completed, and which still exist to me because canon never actually explicitly answered any of the questions:

The sharingan is a proper Divine Blessing/Curse, (somewhat confirmed by canon) in that it is borrowed power that has a somewhat separate Will of its own; it’s not exactly sentient, but it can respond to the emotional energy of its user independently of their conscious or logical desires, I.e. to defend them. Furthermore this is a large reason why the Uchiha face discrimination in the first place; when cornered or threatened, their eyes just do — there is no second guess or real conscience, their power will conjure up any visions of hell it so pleases to deter you from attacking or killing its host.

Secondary to this, since all sharingan can conjure Genjutsu, this is very typically the form in which defensive action takes place. It’s far worse if one has a mangekyou that specializes in it, like Itachi or Shisui, but ultimately all sharingan can and will react defensively by conjuring a Genjutsu.

Speaking of Shisui, one of my favorite HC’s about his name (meaning “still water/doldrum”) is that he got it for having been mistaken as stillborn. Dark, but suits him and his story just fine.

Itachi (meaning “weasel”) is named after Izuna (meaning “stoat”, and animal very like a weasel but tiny lol, they’re also called an ermine when they change colour in winter.)

As I’m sure many followers know by now, and as a repeat, I totally HC a strong prevalence of Autism in the Uchiha clan. It just explains so much.

On a related note (haha punny) I think it DOES in fact make sense for there to be an auspicious absence of anti-incest instinct in the Uchiha clan, because, yknow, it’s kind of integral to their continued existence. This theory gets a lot of crap from antis, but I’m not even a hard shipper really, I just think it suits the narrative implications. 🤷‍♀️

I don’t think I’ve seen this HC elsewhere but I’ve had it forever: awakening the sharingan too young is often fatal, AND there is such a thing as sharingan abilities too powerful for their user. Canon also sort of confirmed this later with Sasuke. But I’m talking like, a Mangekyou ability that will kill its host if they’re too young or too weak for it. Part and parcel of it being a supernatural power.

Speaking of narrative implications: Hyuuga and Uchiha blood don’t mix well. I personally like this explanation better than the whole vicious rivalry thing because that’s kind of counter to the whole founding point of Konoha???? So let there be an inciting cause: that for one reason or another, Hyuuga x Uchiha results in poor outcomes. Either it’s prone to rendering the offspring completely powerless, or it renders them too powerful for their own sake; either it results in most likely a Byakugan that’s un-turn-off-able, or it quite possibly results in a higher incidence of rinnegan, which might I remind you tends to kill its hosts.

Under similar pretense, Uchiha and Senju blood don’t particularly mix well either…except that they do, and that is precisely the problem. I’ve long HC’ed Kagami and Shisui as possessing Senju blood to explain their power differences. (And curly hair, maybe) Madara and Izuna too I wish to believe have Senju blood, perhaps more distantly, or else they’ve got Mystery Blood that’s not pure Uchiha. Which is deliberately very ironic lol.

As a final and very dark HC, the fact that Uchiha do canonically practice a form of selective breeding/eugenics means that the culls have to go somewhere. Given how valuable their genes are, as well as how very traditional, I imagine that they officially send their unwanted away to live better lives…which is to say that they might tell people that, and indeed some families probably did, but the real world historical precedent for this both in Japan and out has always been infanticide. 😢 I mean there’s also the precedent from families who didn’t agree with the practice, as I said, where they’d send their littles away, sometimes crippling them on purpose depending on why, (intentionally blinded Uchiha survivors, anybody?) which I also HC, but there is likely something of an unspoken assumption that kids who “just didn’t make it” were, in fact, murdered. The politics of this are interesting and very disturbing at the same time lol.

GENERAL YANDERE FUGO

(Warning: Abuse, implied violence.) (A/N: You dont have to look at the categories.)

The categories I give him:

Yandere Type: Dominant

Yandere MBTI: Cruel Lucid Honest Strict/Lenient

How you met: Associated or working with Passione.

Most of this will be inspired by an old post I did. Heed the warnings.

Fugo acts like a soft yandere. Normally, he's a gentle young man. He's encouraging you to the best you can be in a positive way. He learns about what you're passionate about and tries getting passionate about it too. If he thought your interests were stupid, he wouldn't be in love with you, so relax. He'll even surprise you with gifts pertaining to your interests most people wouldn't understand.

Fugo still has a problem with his rage. Out of nowhere, he will lose that calm voice and the gentle words become demanding yells. Most of the time, it's not at you, but the way he treats others is still terrifying. When he is about to be mad at you, you can hear it in his voice. If you're smart, you'll calm him down. If you're brazen, Fugo will do things to you that you'll both regret.

Fugo is mentally unstable. His upbringing fucked him up and being a gangster is doing his psyche no favors. He loves you, he really does, but deep down, he thinks you're stupid and need him to survive this cruel world. Also, he also loves controlling you. It's therapeutic to being the one in control after a lifetime of exploitation.

Fugo wants his darling to be PERFECT. You are amazing, but you could be BETTER. There’s a couple of imperfections he needs to fix. He'll be a great teacher! He wont be like his awful parents or that shitty professor. He'll be patient with you. Just don't sass him or say that you don't want to do the assignments. Things will turn ugly. Trust him to improve you, dammit!

Fugo is a vicious mafioso. If he perceives someone as his enemy, violence ensues. First, he gives out verbals threats. This is towards the weak and innocent or as a first warning. Then, he makes violent promises. That is towards people who can see through his slick educated words. Finally, actually violence comes about. It's rarely towards you, but your closest friends and family might be free game.

Fugo will never use Purple Haze except in extreme situations. They would have to truly be harming you for him to give someone such a death. Keep in mind, he will do it in front of you just to show what he's willing to do for you. You're not sure if it's a threat or not, but what you do know is that he doesn't care when you puke.

Fugo wants to be a great boyfriend, but you're one-of-a-kind. He's never going to find an amazing person like you. He's make you even more amazing! Even if he has to force it out of you. He's improving you. You should be grateful for every lesson, rewards, and punishment he gives you. Just be a good student.

Katniss always felt at least a little aroace. My headcanon is that she's arospec ace, but she doesn't have the luxury to think enough about it to figure that out or exactly what type of arospec. She thinks she romantically loves Peeta by the end? Maybe? But maybe she's just reflecting his emotions back to him. She does love him in some fashion, isn't that enough? Not for the capitol. She didn't know how to make herself love him in the right way, couldn't even fake it correctly. Peeta seems happy with whatever she's giving him now, even if she's not so sure about it. Maybe if she just tries a bit harder it will eventually click. It never does, though. Just one more thing she'll never understand about herself, that this society has taken from her.

Poland is not mentally stable, although now he is better. The worst was in the scope of the existence of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. At that time, Poland experienced quite strong personal, visual and mental disorders, which explains many of his crazy tactics and decisions. Poland and in this time period married Prussia. But their happiness did not last long, because Prussia's character did not go well with Poland's disorders. When one day Poland and Prussia argued, the situation got out of control and Poland, showing his dominance over Prussia, forced him to have sex with him. Poland did not control himself at all, and hurt Prussia quite badly. After some time, it turned out that Prussia got pregnant. When the German Empire was born, Prussia immediately hated him and avoided him like the plague. Poland, on the other hand, as soon as he saw the German Empire, decided to do everything to be the best father to him. he wanted the German Empire to have a good life, better than what his firstborn had. she was killed by the Polish father, who considered her useless because she was deaf, which in his opinion would not serve her well as a wife, the girl was never interested in men. because Poland was often on battlefields or with maps in his office, the German Empire had an unusual childhood. Prussia never dealt with the Nenets Empire, and kept her distance from him. The German Empire and Poland became very close due to how much time they spent together. the Poles did not want the German Empire to be afraid of him, so he always tried to make the German Empire not see him in an uncontrolled state. However, the German Empire knew about his father's condition, despite his efforts. if it were not for Poland telling the German Empire that Prussia was his second father, the German Empire would never have known. the German Empire knew that Poland and Prussia were a married couple and he knew what that meant. that's why when he saw Prussia together with the Russian Empire, he immediately ran to Poland with this information.

Super Why Headcanon

When someone in Story Book Village is dying (or in rare cases, going mute) when they talk, their (last) words will fall out of their mouth.

I got this idea from the episode “A Day with Farmer Fred” because the words fall out of the book when Joy shakes it too hard.

Bonus if the families of the deceased gather the words and frame them as a memory (this is something I Headcanon the Three Little Pigs did with their mom because we never see her)

[At this moment, I’m gonna answer Fugo with 1, 5, or 10. I will get better numbers when I compare him to the rest of the Bucci Gang (and La Squadra).]

Manipulative:

How manipulative he is?

1 being completely honest

10 everyone’s a puppet on a string

10/10 Fugo’s smart enough to manipulate people. That’s how he was able to live on the streets of Naples when he was kicked out.  As for his yandere antics, he wants to use his intellect to get what he wants before resorting to violence.

Perceptive:

How easy can the Yandere spot your attempt at manipulation.

1 is a sucker for you.

10 sees right through you.

10/10 Fugo loves you, but he will play mind games on you. He will study you, analyze, learn more about you and your psyche than you would ever know. Mind, mind games until you lose control.

Brutality :

How easily they kill others, the severity of the physical punishments/restraints, how willing they are to hurt you (and how severely) to teach you a lesson, etc. 

1 is wouldn’t hurt a fly, 

10 is will be brutal without hesitation.

Willing to hurt/kill others - 5/10

Willingness to hurt you - 5/10

Severity of punishment - 10/10

Fugo does have self-restraint, but when it’s gone, kneecaps will be busted.

Kidnapping capability :

If you tried to leave, how likely you’re forced to come right back?

1 is he will have a very hard time getting you back.

10 is he will find you within seconds.

5/10 - There are plenty of ways to escape Fugo but there are plenty of ways, to varying degrees, to return you back to him.

Emotional instability:

How much of an emotional roller coaster he is?

1 is pretty chill.

10 is unpredictable intense volatile emotional states.

10/10 - Duh.

Mental instability:

How well he blends into society? How off his rocker is he?

1 is no one suspects a thing. Yandere seems normal.

10 is everyone looking for a reason to call the police on him because the yandere is a walking red flag.

5/10 - It’s closer to 1 because I doubt Fugo has massive outbursts that often.

Restrictiveness:

How restrictive they are on your freedoms and privileges. 

1 being you’re essentially free, 10 being bound hand and foot in a dark closet all day type of thing. 

6 and over involves kidnapping.

5/10 - Closers to 1. Fugo wants control of you, because he wants you to do things for him and that means allowing you to roam the world. Keep in mind, that he does expect you to come home.

Stubbornness/Compromisability:

How willing they are to compromise versus how stubborn they are? 

1 being they will easily give up some of their wishes if it makes darling happy.

5 being you can negotiate a middle ground on some things. 

10 is just NO.

5/10. Fugo wants to be 10/10, but he actually wants a decent relationship with you. He knows he can get you to do his bidding easier if he negotiates with you.

I don't have as many for her as I do Neil, because she's not my hyperfixation, for one. Second, she's kinda boring to me. I don't know, something just doesn't click with me for her.

🐸 Franny grew up in a religious household. She was taught to be a good Christian girl, and to not indulge her "boyish" activities (the frogs/karate).

🏘️ She ran away from home a couple of times during high school. Both times she was gone for months. She had to make up a lot of school.

🤬 Her mother was physically abusive, until she saw the bruise of her hand print on her daughter's face. After that day, while the heavy physical abuse stopped, she would still flick her kid's mouths when they spoke out of turn.

💊 For believing frogs had musical talent, Franny was taken to be evaluated for a psychotic disorder by her mother.

🥀 Franny isn't vanilla. She's into BDSM and omorashi (assumes the dom position). She would tie Neil up if he was open to it.

👊 The reason why she learned karate in the first place was so she could beat up her bullies. That's why her default reaction to Lewis' potential interest was to put up her defenses.

Most of these headcanons for Neil and Franny are written into my fanfic Discovery-Recovery, I've noticed. That wasn't intentional, I'm only just now realizing it... Wow I'm dumb. :/

Somewhat Upsetting Heroes Of Olympus and Percy Jackson Headcanons

Jason has issues with food and he eats just like you'd think a wolf boy would. I know that logically, he would still develop manners, but since I'm in denial about his death I'm basically living in an AU anyway so. He worries about having enough to eat, to him it feels wrong to go for seconds, and if you give him valuable food as a gift he will probably need to suppress the urge to cry.

Leo has a hard time sharing blankets with people, especially his male friends, because of an Incident(TM) in one of his foster homes. He won't elaborate.

After one of Jason's friends has an argument with him, they absolutely Cannot leave him hanging, he will absolutely panic wondering if the relationship is ruined forever.

Percy refuses to touch any and all alcohol. He can't do it. The smell makes him feel sick and seeing people, even his friends, get drunk makes him extremely nervous

Annabeth has to Really fight the feeling that she needs to constantly impress and be approved of by men. She also gets really stressed out when she feels like she's being ignored. For a while, she was terrified of Percy abandoning her for Rachel; like her father started to ignore her after meeting her stepmom.

Any time Percy sees Paul and Sally have any sort of disagreement, he gets really tense and kind of angry wolf-stares at Paul.

Dark!/Yandere Sakuro Headcanon

Yandere Sakuro is the kind, but a Tsundere mix of yandere type. Being a grumpy medic with a short fuse, his "caring" side sometimes may come out a bit harsh to a foreign eye, but to those who know him, know that Sakuro's family, especially his mother is known for her "Tough love" attitude, so he most likely inherited his own personality and traits from his mother, Mebuki. Though if you catch him on good days (especially in his training arc era, where he was more angry and unruly), he is an absolute sweetheart. Even during his bad days, he tries his best to show affection through actions of service. His love language is physical contact or acts of service, so if he really loves someone, he will basically act protective of them. A bit overprotective.

Sakuro, despite his short temper is smart. His IQ is 174, so he makes use of both his brute strength and his brain. Contrary to many people's beliefs, he is very observant, and along with Sakura, He's the head of the Medical Department and the director of Konoha Hospital. Despite all his duties, he always tries to find time for his loved ones.

Though he has all these positive traits, Sakuro, just like Sakura is obsecurely obsessive, which shows in his determination and workaholic attitude, but once in love, his behavior towards his affection target may turn… A bit overbearing. Unlike Sakura, he's much better at hiding his real intentions. Being the head of the hospital means he has access to most drugs and poisons that usually is inaccessible to a normal staff member.

How he kills: If he finds out that his love/affection interest is undergoing danger, or their attention is directed to someone, he will get really angry, but unlike Sakura, he won't show it. Though his temper tends to get to him, when he's in a bad situation, he thinks rationally.

Sakuro is a planner. He doesn't rush into things, he calculates, judges and then executes. Especially since his ANBU training, he has managed to control his emotions even better. So whenever he kills, he makes sure he's always at least twenty steps ahead of everyone.

His favorite killing methods: Sakuro doesn't shy away from getting his hands dirty on battles or on an operating table, but when he kills, he prefers not to leave a trail. So when he kills, unless he knows for sure that he won't be caught, he opts to use "suicide" or "accidental" death methods. Being a doctor, he is highly hygienic, so he always makes sure he doesn't leave a trail, at least not a trail that will lead back to him. Weapons: He tends to use anything that will make the deaths look accidental or something that would be written off as suicide. a noose, a razor, and narcotics that would make it look like his victim has overdosed. Will most likely leave drugs behind to make it seem like the person was prone to drug addiction.

If he knows he won't be caught and nobody will remember his victims, he makes sure they are on a mission or at the outskirts of Konoha. He plans a trip ahead of time, or a mission and will follow his victim.

Favorite murder weapons: Bare hands mostly, surgical tools, kunai, bombs, etc… After all, who would suspect the head of the hospital, the one who prefers healing people over killing them, to be a cold-blooded murderer, right?

However the deeper his obsession becomes, the more he begins to enjoy the act of killing itself not only for the love for his target but also the thrill of being able to get away from such brutal murders. It gives a kind of high or adrenaline rush that he had never felt before. But nonetheless, his first priority is always his interest. The killing comes second. The more he kills, the more his sanity slips from his fingers, and he doesn't mind it, not one bit. These acts take off the pressure of work from his shoulders. He knows it's unhealthy, but the act itself has become like an addiction to him. He eventually finds a sick sense of pleasure when he crushes a person's head, or when he cuts into their body's cavity as they scream and beg for mercy. He enjoys the feeling of warmth of blood all over his hands.

Was this how Hidan and Kisame usually felt when they killed their victims? perhaps. Now, he wouldn't be able to judge them, despite his medic instincts screaming at him to end himself, because this was not what he stood for. He guessed now, he was no better than the two…

Batman being aggressively secretive towards the Justice League is one of my favorite tropes, but it gets INFINITELY funnier when you take the younger generations of heroes into consideration.

Barry Allen? He doesn't know shit about Batman, still partially convinced he's not human, still a little bit scared to talk to him. But Wally West? That's Nightwing's best friend. He's been around Dick since both of them were kids. He's had sleepovers at the manor since he was thirteen.

I just think it would be hilarious if all of the younger generations 100% know that Batman is Bruce Wayne. They've slept at the manor, some of them have taken various Batkids to school dances, they've been offered Alfred's cooking. And all because they've gotten close to at least one Batkid and said Batkid wore Bruce down until he let them reveal their identity. But all of them manage to keep this information from their mentors. Either purposefully or completely on accident.

Then you end up with a situation where the younger generations grow up and join the League and the older members Very Quickly realize that they seem a lot more comfortable with Batman than they should be.
