Bio: Cil is PJ's younger brother. To put it in his words, he's "always been consumed by darkness and death." He can see and pick up on things most others can't. His gift comes at a cost... Everybody thinks he's crazy, or just a little odd. Not even his own family believes him.

Cil doesn't know her actual name, so he just calls her that. - He knows how Bullet Girl died... kinda. He can see a gun and older man in a car when he tries to pick up on her death. - He also knows how Gradient died. Whenever Gradient is around, Cil can sometimes feel like he's being choked. - Error is a skeptic when it comes to the paranormal, and as you can imagine, that leaves Cil very frustrated. - Cil plays lacrosse. - He feels like he's constantly overshadowed by PJ and his accomplishments. - Cil practices the same magic as his older brother, just more catered to his personal tastes. His symbol is Deceit. - His ideal night is laying in bed while watching TV and eating his favorite snack - Fokkin' Hots. - Fokkin' Hots are made in Hellrealm, and have real mortal suffering baked into the chips. Cil isn't affected by it, though. He theorizes it's because he's a sensitive and already heavily intertwined with death. - Cil is very secretive about his sketchbooks. Not even Quill has seen inside them. - He keeps his hair over his right eye because that's his lazy eye. He's very self conscious about it. - Yeah, PJ teases him about his second middle name. - He would never admit this aloud, but he really appreciates it when PJ takes the time to talk to him. Especially after a bad day.

Bio: Being the son of your entire region's number one tennis coach can be a lot, especially if you're the eldest. PJ here struggles with being expected to live up to his father's model, but he'd rather study other things. For a while, he's been secretly studying Battlemage magic under Nightmare's guidance - Nightmare being their history teacher for third period.

Miscellaneous Little Facts - He has the second name "Candy" because of his mother. On her side of the family, everyone has two names corresponding with food, as per tradition. If Error didn't intervene, PJ would've been named "Cake Pop." - The symbol in the middle of his octagram is the symbol for Loyalty, and its color is represented with purple. - PJ struggles with explosive anger. When I say "explosive," I mean that literally. - They play tennis. - He wears mostly comfy clothes, like sweaters, overalls, sweatpants, baggy jeans, etc. - Error wants PJ to eventually play tennis on a regional level, but they don't wanna do that. They see tennis as more of a hobby. - PJ is a pretty good artist. - He has a Rumblr blog where he posts his art called Flowy Paintbrush. - Due to playing sports most of his life, he's endured a lot of injuries. - Although their relationship is a little rocky, Error and PJ still work out every Sunday. This is why PJ is a little more toned compared to his peers. - Charcoal was his grandfather's name (on his dad's side). - He's allergic to dust. - They got into Battemage magic from Nightmare's class. It came up in a lesson and PJ wanted to know more. - PJ's anger issues have given them the reputation as the aggressive athlete type around school, and even in some pockets around town. - When he graduates, he plans on signing up for the "Gates to Education" program, which will allow him to study magic in a whole other Realm. - They're part Fire Elemental. This is from their mother's side, stemming from their Grandpa. This is why their anger is especially explosive. - He sucks at math. - Mac and cheese is his number one comfort food, and that will never change. - Some days after school, PJ goes to work for their mother at her bakery. - In two years, they'll inherit their mother's family recipes. OMG... a new character bio after literal months? Yes! Finally!

Bio: Alphys usually acts cold and callus towards new people. This is most likely a defense response from her home life. Her older sister, Hollie-Ann, is favored by her parents due to her status as the "good religious girl" with a promising future as a housewife, compared to Alphys... Wanting a career in a field deemed "masculine" by her family - that being science, she typically gets her fair share of lectures and looks from her family who want to convince her to change her mind. She ain't budgin', though.

Meaning she has to keep her homosexuality hidden from them. - I struggled hard on her color palette, until I discovered Fairy Grunge, and I was in love with the harmony of colors. - The butterfly-like jewels hanging off of her shirt collar are a family heirloom. Her sister has the pink ones. - Currently, she's working on a prototype robot which she hopes will be able to be her lab assistant. - She really only talks to PJ during science class, but they have deep and interesting conversations when they are together. Recently they've been discussing ancient artifacts. - Alphys has dexterity with her tail. She taught herself this skill because she needed extra help in her lab. - Her "lab" is just her cluttered desk in her room. - She eats ramen way more than she'd like to admit. She knows it's not healthy, you don't gotta lecture her... - Anime has become her escape from her shitty reality. - Alphys has gone through the most drastic changes throughout development of this project. At first she was shy and sweet, then angry and done with everything, and now she's just defensive, but an overall good person. - With that previous point being said, every time her mother calls her Dotty she wants to murder someone.

IT! PJ x Hudson

Addressing the whole "IT! PJ" thing first - I've decided to call my story for a rebooted version of PJ's Daycare "I'm Tired." I felt like it was a perfect title.

Second, hey look sweet romances :3 Friendly reminder that Hudson is going to be PJ's bi awakening, as well as the one who helps him unlearn some of the shit he was fed during his childhood. Things like internalized homophobia/shame and toxic masculinity. You know. Fun stuff.

The first image is a little choppy but the second one is pretty alright, actually. PJ's not slick with his affection, lol. His hair... paint... stuff completely gives him away. He my not be aware because he's sleeping, but luckily Hudson either doesn't care or actively finds it charming. Fun fact about skeletons across all of the worlds I make regarding Undertale - Skeletons must take naps in order to function properly, up until they stop feeling tired every mid-day between the ages of 40 - 50. PJ is 26. Do with this information with what you will.

Punk Squid

I might have lied, Romper is my new favorite redesign oh my word.

Bio: Romper is a punk girl who loves alternative music. She's the drummer for a garage band called Low Rollers, and she has some vocal ability. If it weren't for meeting Papyrus, Low Rollers would stay a garage band. Romper's dream is just like any artist's - to make a splash with their voice.

Miscellaneous Little Facts - Since Romper was essentially a blank slate, I got to do whatever I wanted with her character. So, punk. - Romper's outfit was inspired by many punk outfits I saw from a quick search, my favorite piece being her zipper tentacle tie. - Since she's a squid monster, her tentacles have a set length they grow to, just like all squid monsters. Hers just so happen to be on the longer side. - When she was younger, Romper would skateboard. Nowadays she's into roller bladeing. - Within Low Rollers, Outer is the lead vocalist, Romper is the drummer and back up vocalist, Kora is the guitarist, Kaylee is the bassist, and Papyrus is the producer. - She believes that with a little bit of fine tuning, PJ could be a really good singer. Of course whenever she brings this up to him he actively denies it. - Similar to what Undyne has to do, Romper too has to keep her skin moist - hence the water bottle, yada yada. - If it were up to her, her entire wardrobe would be thrifted. Her flannel and crop top are thrifted. - Her lipstick is called "Bloody Seashells," and she believes it's one of the few shades that look great on her. - Her eye shadow is called "Witch's Leaves." - Romper's favorite comfort food is a simple grilled cheese sandwich with some Crispee Cheezies on the side. - She's a young lady who knows who she is, and she isn't about to let somebody deny her femininity. - Her family are the only ones she allows to call her Ramona, and this includes Wallace. - Her middle name is Ginger and her sister's middle name is Pepper because of their grandmother and great aunt. They're twins! - Before her father died, Romper would come with him to a lot of music festivals and concerts. - Romper is utterly repulsed by mustard. She won't eat anything with mustard even as a small component of the dish. - Although she mainly listens to punk and punk rock, occasionally she will listen to EDM.

Bio: Undyne lives in a household of boys. She's the second eldest child between four brothers and her father preaches the importance of rough housing. Sports and physical activity are very important in her family, as well as veterans - both her father and grandfather were veterans who served. She one day hopes to serve just like her predecessors.

Miscellaneous Little Facts - She absolutely loves rock music, but has a soft spot for J-Pop. - Her current obsession is an action anime called "Ladybug's Guide to Kickin' Ass with Subpar Skills." - Speaking of anime, her favorite genre is action, but she'll watch any kind. - Undyne has a small collection of manga on her book shelf, and she fully expects that collection to keep growing. - Her older brother's name is Bishop, and her younger brother's names are Jack, Rook, and Grant. - I softened up her colors from her previous design because I wanted her to look more approachable and friendly. - She currently has the most wins out of her brothers' competitions, and she ain't about to take off her crown. - In addition to occasional strength training, she also plays tennis on the school's team with PJ. - Undyne mostly wears atheleisure wear, but will occasionally wear a t-shirt and jeans. - The little red dots around her are scales that are colored differently, making it appear like she has red freckles. - "Crispy" is a nickname that spawned from an inside joke between her and PJ. - In terms of her favorite kind of rock music, sounds heard from the band Starset are a good frame of reference. - Undyne easily gets caught up in competition if not pulled back down to earth. - Undyne is a fresh water monster, compared to Romper who's salt water. - Fun fact about her specific species in this universe! Her stomach acid is strong enough to handle raw meat, but doctors don't recommend this for obvious reasons. PJ is the same! - Because she is a water based monster, she must stay moist throughout the day. Hence the water bottle. - She has an amazing relationship with her dad, but she never knew her mother. - Undyne and PJ have such a strong sibling dynamic with their friendship, it's to the point where people suggesting they should date makes them gag and laugh. - She keeps the long hair because she, and I quote: "Loves the wind in her hair while she's leaving the competition in the dust." - Her prized possession is a leather jacket her dad handed down to her when she was 13.

Bio: Paperjam is an aspiring thespian in their prime. They spend most of their free time working on stuff for their school's current play. They accentuate this eccentric interest with an eccentric wardrobe to match. Recently, his family moved into an old mansion that's apparently been in the family for generations, and his life is about to get dramatic - how fitting for a theater kid.

Miscellaneous Little Facts - The little pins on his hat are little references taken from various spooky/horror movies, can you identity them all? - His favorite flavor of gum to chew is honeydew. - PJ LIVES for salt and vinegar flavored things - especially chips. - They wear a large, old t-shirt for pajamas, and nothing else besides boxers. - When he was a kid, he would take the wax out of candles and mold them into little wax sculptures. He was a weird kid. - The story of Tragic Mystery was inspired by a horror movie called "The Ritual", as well as shows like Gravity Falls as said by Crispy Koala. - PJ's anxiety gives him what he calls an "anxious tummy", making him extremely gassy and his bowels very irritable. Meaning it's not uncommon for him to fart when he's anxious or nervous. - They refuse to eat at any restaurant that doesn't serve some form of chicken tenders and french fries. As they should, honestly. - He has three little pet Cotton Puff Bats named Lock, Shock, and Barrel. - Lock, Shock, and Barrel are fed all sorts of treats by PJ, their favorite being white dragon fruit. - PJ has a mini salt shaker key chain that he carries around on his backpack or belt loop for food emergencies, because he loves salty stuff. - In his closet, he has a pile of old busted up notebooks filled with years of stage play ideas. - He likes listening to music that fits within the umbrella aesthetics of Liminal Spaces and Weird/Dreamcore. - On top of the pins on his hat, he also has a variety of pins that he's collected which he adorns all over his backpack. - PJ plays on an old gaming system - the Cloud Jumper 94 - that his father used to own. He has newer gaming systems but he prefers to play on the old console. - He had a really, really embarrassing goth phase when he was between the ages of 13 and 15. - Due to the severity of his condition on some off days, PJ is a part time wheelchair user. - His mother Irene is a lawyer who believes PJ should work towards a more "sustainable" career. You can imagine how well they get along. - PJ loves horror movies, and doesn't scare easily. - The reason PJ always has gum in his possession is because he concentrates better when doing a minor motor action. - PJ and his friends were all dubbed the weird kids by their peers, so they stuck together. - PJ tries to keep a very collected and aloof demeanor around his friends and everyone else, but that all gets thrown out the window when Napstablook is within ten feet of his sight. - He's very passionate about all forms of art, including painting. But theater is his specialty within the arts. - From PJ's point of view, Blook seems oblivious to his crush on him. Which may or may not be the case... - He stumbled upon his family's potentially dark history by accident while snooping around the new house.

It's Napstablook! Yes, this is actually him. Ghosts are VERY different in our universes, I'll explain later.

Bio: Napstablook - Bloo for short - has gone through some shit. He lost his parents in a house fire when he was at school one day, and he was put into the Realm's foster care system. After the tragedy, he doesn't really talk all that much... only speaking when he finds it necessary. When he does speak it's only short direct sentences or few words. Music is his comfort, and he's never seen without his headphones on.

Through here... he feels like garbage. But he likes that. It's meditative to him. - His uncle Mettaton is the school's new drama teacher, and Bloo only took that theater class to see his uncle. - He wishes Mettaton would take Bloo in as his new guardian, but he can never pluck up the courage to ask. The only reason Bloo was put into the foster care system was because Mettaton was out of state at the time. - Bloo loves a good sandwich. Peanut butter and jelly, ham and cheese, grilled cheese, BLT, philly cheese steak... he'll eat 'em all! - He's very fond of snails. He wishes to have a pet snail at some point. - Like all Ghosts, he has a "shell" form that acts as a shield of sorts. This is the form that closely resembles Napstablook from the OG game. - Most often his anxiety leads him to the bathroom. He's one of those people that has a nervous bladder and bowels. - The sweater he's wearing is for a band he likes called "Dripping Cow." - He imagines his first kiss to be like the movies... perfect. - Bloo is quite the romantic person, and he's not afraid to admit that he finds comfort from watching rom-coms. - He's surprisingly good at bowling. - He knows of Papyrus' other friends, he just hasn't really given them a chance yet. - Bloo sleeps with a lot of blankets and pillows. He likes to be comfy.

Critter Jocks!

I finally finished the revamp of the Besties playlist - renamed to Critter Jocks. Why Critter Jocks specifically? Well... one day I was drawing PJ traditionally, and my mom peered over my shoulder and was like, "Oh, are you drawing one of your critters again?" Mom straight up called PJ a critter, lol. Anyway, here's the new cover for the playlist! It features all the Jock Paperjams we have made as well Rebooted NaJ PJ, rocking some glittery lip gloss.

I'll provide bios for the ones you may not know! Saving Our State PJ (created by @arinthehunter) - He's blue because of an inside joke between us. Anyway. Him and all of his friends play football at a little sandlot after school. His eyes are cloudy because he's legally blind. He's a real sweetheart. Tragic Mystery PJ (created by @thecrispykoala) - His family just inherited a mansion and huge fortune from a distant relative, and this mansion - and by extension his family - just so happen to have a lot of secrets. His life became super dramatic, perfect for a theater kid. Exchange Students PJ (created by me) - Him and his best friend Fresh have a passion for music! Fresh plays electric guitar and PJ sings - together they make the ultimate duo!

It's the one that needed one of the most drastic redesigns, iiiiiit's Papyrus! Think of him like he's Vinyl Scratch, but he talks.

Bio: Papyrus is an aspiring producer who currently mixes his friend's band's songs on the side for fun. He also makes his own music away from the band, which he uploads online. For a teen, he's got a pretty decent following of 4,000 people.
