Bruce: I never got to see Dick's first reaction to the alcohol, because he tried it before as a kid. Same with Jason, he drank it without me being around. Tim got on his first party with alcohol behind my back.

Y'know sometimes I wonder what Ras reaction was to the Justice League. Like he practically offered Bruce the chance to be one of his generals, straight up offered for him to be his heir, and was turned down.

thinking about a Damian who was raised his entire life hearing how much he looks like his Father, how he's the blood son, how he's better than any other child Bruce Wayne has taken in, starting to buy into it like a kid does, only to hit puberty and turn out looking like 80% Talia.

ra’s shows up one day in the batcave to “speak with the detective” except he’s ignoring bruce (who is Not offended Thank You Very Much) and everyone is so confused

except tim. who is currently thinking of three escape routes, five ways to die, and how to gaslight everyone. he’s thankfully hidden from ra’s for the moment until he slowly tries leaving and ra’s catches sight of him, his face visibly lighting up. he calls out to tim as “detective” while everyone is trying to figure out when the fuck tim replaced bruce in ra’s eyes

tim’s course of action is kicking ra’s in the nuts and stealing the batmobile. damian has a new appreciation for tim

bruce questions why ra’s is calling tim detective to which ra’s just raises his eyebrow and says “because he’s the better detective? as evidenced by your question.” and then ra’s fucks off to find tim after his dramatic exit. and no he’s not limping (he put in armor in that area after the first time. ignore that he’s very clearly walking slower, tim just has a strong kick)

I firmly believe that one of Damian’s biggest fears is getting older, not like late twenties older but fifties and sixties. I think he’s scared of turning grey, of getting too many lines on his face, having too much wisdom in his old eyes.

Because what if that happens and when he looks in the mirror he sees his grandfather?

Damian: Yes, our engagement was made between Grandfather and Clockwork - his spiritual grandfather-ten years ago. I believe Daniel is unaware of it, seeing as he is not wearing the symbolic necklace and did not react to my name, but that was him.

Tim: Every time I learn something new of your upbringing, I become more alarmed.

Steph: You aren't planning on marrying him are you?

Damian: Of course. We have a contract to fulfill. It's beneficial that he has a lovely physique and gets along with Richard. I do not mind calling him mine.

Steph: I was afraid of that.

Cass: Do you realize what this means? One of us got to tell Bruce, and worse, Dick.
