my mom has dealt with horrendous migraines over the years. it was so bad that at least 15 out of the 30 days of the month she would have a migraine, but a few years ago she got the daith piercing and when i tell you i haven't heard her complain after that... that shit does wonders. she recommends it to every friend she has and even i got it for myself and it does reduce the pain by a LOT. there's a chance it might help you too as well. hopefully you get better soon love. i wish you a quick recovery. <3

I’m SO glad that that worked for your mom! Migraines are AWFUL and that makes so so happy to hear that she doesn’t deal with them as much anymore! I’ve heard mixed reviews on it, but I’ve my daith pierced for years and it didn’t seem to help :/ maybe for a little bit. It’s my left one. I want to get my right done so bad to see if it helps. i remember the snap crackle and pop of it going through. It was so cool and gross at the same time lol

do daith piercings actually work for headaches/migraines??

i've had to deal with hereditary migraines since i was about 12, and they are starting to get increasingly harder to deal with again. (they basically incapacitated me between ages 13-16)

they make me weak, nauseous, i can't think or speak correctly, my hands twitch and can't hold a grip very well, and i sometimes go blind up to 10 minutes

i haven't gone to a doctor for it since i was a teenager because they never took me seriously, and im sure they wont take it seriously now that im an adult. they ignore my sexual health concerns so why should they care about a headache?

I've been wanting to get more piercings anyways, and I REALLY wanna know if anyone has gotten a daith piercing and if it worked for their headaches??
