i have NOWHERE to shoehorn this into the Welcome to Gotham fic but i desperately need people to see it so everybody please imagine the following scenario:

Bruce, son of Athena: I named myself Batman because my worst fear as a child was bats. so i created the symbol of a bat to strike fear into the hearts of criminals so i may one day cleanse the streets of Gotham of all crime forever

Annabeth, daughter of Athena: okay but isn't the spider the worst fear of all children of athena?

Bruce: technically true. they are my number one fear. bats are number two. however i couldn't run around calling myself "spiderman". thats a stupid name

friendly reminder that Neteyam is a well-adjusted kid who has a good relationship with his parents, that he tries his darnedest to be a good warrior because he genuinely looks up to his dad and wants to be like him, and that the idea that Jake and Neytiri are "forcing" him to be perfect, that they "stole his childhood" or that he's "not allowed" to be a kid, etc. are all pure fanfiction with little to no evidence in canon thanks bye

Luffy and Zoro ending up under a mistletoe together and everyone looking at them, Robin pointing out what they have to do. Zoro is a blushing mess, but Luffy is the happiest man alive and he doesn't hesitate to forcefully grab Zoro by his face and press a wet, hard kiss on his cheek. Kisses him stupid. Literally. Zoro is dying. And then Usopp (because he's a menace) says that it doesn't work like that and that they have to kiss properly. This time, Luffy does ask for permission and rests his hands on Zoro's shoulders. He doesn't have to actually say it, but Zoro knows he's asking for once. It's not like Zoro can't fight it. And it's not like he doesn't want it. So this time they kiss slowly and softly and for a long time. So much time it gets uncomfortable and they have to leave them alone because, as Sanji says, "Merry fucking Christmas but this is disgusting".
